Brad Ward: Stout pie was amazing as was the schittie and pepper sauce!Parking: Parking greatWheelchair accessibility: Access was fine, staff happy to assist

Theodore Lee: UPDATE! No longer have $15 rump meal deals.$15 rump meal deals on Tuesday real good value for money. Steaks came out nicely cooked to my preference. Chips and salad were spot on. No faults, has free parking at the back to top off. Recommended to anyone who’s looking for a good meal any day.

Iain McGregor: Great pub!Popped in before seeing a movie with the kids.Food was excellent and reasonably priced. We were served quickly, but it got quite busy before we left.Staff excellent, friendly and understanding towards three kids waiting for lunch.

julie sandford: A great hidden gem in Adelaide! We have dined here multiple times, great value for money and excellent service.I would highly recommend this for a cheeky catch up with friends or a meal with family .Added bonus is Kilkenny on tap!

alec tibbitts: The crumbed fish was huge and luckily, I had ordered one piece not two. The other meals people at the table had were the Thai red curry from the specials, the crispy chicken burger and the crumbed prawns. All of the meals were good. There is a wide selection of beers on taps, as there was before the renovation. I’m sure there are plenty of other drinks available too - both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.As for the atmosphere, since the renovation, pretty much all surfaces are hard and although it wasn’t that busy, the noise was overwhelming. The music was quite load and patrons were having to shout to be heard. It was the one part of the night which really spoiled the experience.

Mark Mywords: and had a distinctive smell that I could smell before it came to my table. The taste was initially fishy and over seasoned, and I wasn't sure I'd made the right decision. However, it was delicious and filling. I feel I must describe the smell and taste, and it was basically the smell of an Asian grocer, that odd fermented, spicy, musty, 'museum-ey' smell. It wasn't unpleasant, just different, and I enjoyed it.Staff are friendly and attentive, with full table service a refreshing surprise. Chilled table water was promptly served, but I followed it up with a Margarita

Pratik Christian: Boasting sophisticated black and white styling with raw timber cladding and a white marble bar, the Queen Street Ballroom provides a chic backdrop for any style of event.Complementary in-house facilities: Exclusive bar, screen, projector with HDMI connectivity, cordless microphone and audio with smart device connectivity.Food is really good. I would highly recommend to try here if you are a true foodie. However, in terms of prices it's expensive. Overall I had a good experience.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian available

Kylie McLeod: This was a fantastic place for my daughter's 30th birthday. It's a gorgeous place, with a nice vibe and the Queen Street Ballroom came up beautifully with cosmic themed decorations.Their food was delicious, not the average finger food selection but still some good options for those with sensitive or less adventurous food needs. The staff were awesome, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.Would definitely use this venue again.

Tan Me Baby: I’ve eat here and enjoyed takeaway a few times and figure it’s time for a review. The food each and every time has been delicious. I’ve enjoyed the Green Veggie Laksa many times, the Malaysian Chicken Curry and on my last visit the Sambal Char Kueh Tiaw and the Slow-cooked Lamb Shank and they are now the clear front runners. It was very quiet in the dining room as it was a mid week evening but perhaps some louder background music is a good idea as the two other groups inside were very loud and it took over the whole venue. The team are friendly and have always shown us a lovely time.On the downside, more attention on the cleanliness of the bathrooms needs to be prioritised. It wasn’t a great experience.I do also like that their menu items offer a wine pairing suggestion and there are a good range of GF options.

Claire Page: Lovely historic hotel. It has been decorated very nicely inside. We had the whole place to ourselves when we went for lunch on a Sunday around 1.30pm. The service was very good and attentive. We had steaks which were cooked perfectly and tasted great. Parking is free in the street right out the front. You have to go down some steps to get to the main bar so it is not fully accessible but they have attempted to at least make the dining area and entrance wheelchair accessible.

Sandra Sperling: Fathers day ( what a great day spent at mick o'shea's hotel.Petting zoo a nice touch for the kids, lovely outdoor seating area.Lawn area was great for the kids .But the best was you could sit down and relax at your table while the kids went into the petting zoo and still able to keep a close eye on the kidlets ..meal was very nice..

Pam Black: I’m a regular with my brother to Micks and we love it. Staff are amazing and are always friendly. But recently when waiting to place our dinner order, the manager Viz was pretty rude. I asked him if I could place the order, he told me to place at the bar..he was busy getting bags ready for Uber drivers. On my way back there was someone who was waiting to place their order, he ignored her, so advised her to place at the bar.Apart from this “manager” the staff are amazing and food is always good..this hasn’t put us off and we will be back

Carmel Slice: Lord Melbourne Hotel has achieved the pinnacle of chicken schnitzel perfection! Imagine, tenderly cooked to golden-brown perfection, accompanied by a symphony of crisp chips and fresh, vibrant salad. And let's not forget the pièce de résistance: that luscious mushroom sauce, a savory delight that elevates each bite to new heights of culinary bliss!Of course, such culinary excellence is complemented by impeccable service, where each interaction is imbued with warmth and efficiency. It's not just a meal; it's an experience of great value, where friendly faces ensure your dining journey is nothing short of delightful. A hundred percent, without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend this gastronomic haven.

Bel Harper: We had pre dinner drinks b4 ONG on Rundle. The wine n beer went down well. The attitude of Sophie to bar tender put a stop to that, shouting across the bar, twice. Small??? Then proceeded to literally throw the atm machine at me...this was after I interrupted her chatting with a colleague, a fill line of customers at the bar, my partner bought a beer..paid..then was told 'your welcome ' even before he had nano second to say thanks, with the implication that thanks was not in his dialogue. Sophie might be better suited further west...say Woolshed.

Greg Cleary: An absolute gem of a venue .Very clean, spacious and very friendly staff.Fantastic food and very well priced.A fantastic experience , every time.My new favorite

Dill Pickles: I had a great time visiting Cooper's Ale House for the first time! We came at the dinner rush and were seated and eating within 15 minutes. The Szechuan chicken salad was a highlight, really flavourful and the chicken was grilled perfectly. Usually I avoid breast, but the chicken was juicy and delicious. My friend and I were looking to have a quiet drink and book club after dinner, and the redheaded manager was so lovely and accommodating. She went out her way to seat us in a quiet spot when she saw we had books out. Food, staff, atmosphere were excellent, definitely coming back.

Alex: Old world charm beckons from the facade and heightens the anticipation as you step inside.Friendly smiles greet you as wonderful smells waft from the bistro, whilst you absorb the beautifully preserved bar and parlour. The Thursday $15 Burger special is an absolute must, especially the Fried Chicken and Bacon Burger with chip. which for a non fried cuisine aficionado was simply delicious and surprisingly not oily or greasy at all.I must thank Lachlan for his amazing hospitality and guidance for my meal selection.Make GH a must dine /visit whilst visiting amazing Adelaide. 👏

Kati Jenkins: The vibe in this place is really great since the bar was restored to wood and the insides stripped back to reveal the beautiful bare bones of the old pub. The service is always friendly, beers are cold and every meal I’ve ever had here has been spot on. I’m partial to a beef schnitzel with mushroom sauce here.

Claire Blowers: Thank you so much and we will be back.

rhino Ryan: Good place for a beer and a chat.

SCP 001: Booked a table online for the evening on the balcony, got told when we headed up that it was closed for a private function that had been “booked last minute”. Not really impressed with how this place handles bookings or what the actual point of online booking is?

Margaret Sherlock: As a karate group of 15 or more we have been to the DoB a few times. Every time the service has been exceptional & the food brilliant. It’s great also for me, being Celiac, not having to think about what I can eat as I can eat it all 😋Varied menu, amazing GF drink selection, lovely atmosphere, great staff - what more would you want … oh great value😉

Paulii: Was lucky enough to come here with a bunch of colleagues, a few who required gluten-free options. It's wonderful that we have a completely gluten-free and coeliac friendly dining option in Adelaide. As a vegan I also appreciated how many vegetarian/vegan choices were available. The staff were super friendly and helpful. As a gin lover I appreciated the large and interesting drinks list available and was given a number of recommendations by one of the lovely bartenders. I ended up choosing the vegan hot dog option, the serve was super generous and it was the most authentic tasting hot dog I think I've ever tried. It was a quiet night being a Tuesday but we still all appreciated the quick and efficient service. I will definitely be back!

Faulted Toast45: I am coeliac and having all food being gluten free is great, especially since the food is high quality, I had a birthday dinner there a while back so this place is a good pub for groups.Vegetarian options: Has a wide range of vegan and vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: Every menu item is gluten free

t clarke: The Duke of Brunswick is a cool place with a lovely homey feel. Delicious food, so many options, so happy!! The Dob dog is a favourite, the Coleslaw is killer. Irene: Walked in on the off chance of grabbing a meal before football game. While most tables were pre booked for later on, we were offered a table and were able to order our meals. Thankyou to the lovely bar attendant who went out of the way to accommodate us.Had the chicken schnitzel and burger and we couldn't eat them fast enough.Fresh ingredients, so nice to get a decent salad and a full plate of food.Highly recommend.

Chris Pac: My burger was very partially cooked/quite uncooked in the middle so I sent it back. It was cold in the middle, like out of the fridge or something, and virtually raw. Whilst it was replaced it, no worries the server behind the bar did say “usually we cook them a bit pink.”It was a beautiful thick patty, but bloody cold in the middle and raw. Undercooked in the middle can happen to anyone but no need to try and justify it to me like its normal. Ive probably had a dozen there. Would’ve given five out of five if they had replaced it without comment. Only gave a 4 for service instead of 3, out of respect for past performance. My replacement was terrific and I really enjoyed it.I have a photo, but can’t work out how to upload it cause no option given. Boomer excuse…

m scholz: for my late mother in the Heritage Room, which is wonderfully atmospheric. All of the guests remarked on the choice and quality of the food and the attentive wait service. The bar service was also efficient and friendly. The event went off smoothly without a hitch. Unlike many other hotels, we were not charged for the room and not locked into a fixed menu or minimum spend, so value-for-money was excellent. I highly recommend this heritage pub and its hard-working staff who try hard to please

Darek Jedzok: , but we had a tasty eggplant parmigiana and amazing ricotta gnocchi. All that just a few steps away from the cathedral. Nice.Vegetarian options: Just a few items, but all very tasty

Eric Aune: Great spot for a pint! 🍻The Exitor Hotel pub offers a cool, covered outdoor setting just behind the bar area. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the Cooper's beers on tap are always cold and fresh. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a lively atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon.

Mickelson Plumbing: Tucked away in Adelaide, this hotel pub is an absolute gem that stands out for its cool atmosphere and impressive beer selection. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a warm, inviting ambiance that strikes the perfect balance between modern chic and classic pub charm. The decor is tastefully done, with cozy corners and stylish seating areas that make it easy to relax and unwind. Whether you're there for a casual drink or a night out with friends, the vibe is always spot on. The lighting is just right—not too dim, not too bright—and there's a laid-back buzz in the air that makes you want to stay for hours. What really sets this place apart, though, is the beer. The selection is fantastic, featuring a mix of local craft brews and well-known favorites. Whether you're a fan of crisp lagers, hoppy IPAs, or rich stouts, there's something on tap to suit your taste. The staff is knowledgeable and passionate about their beers, always ready to recommend something new or pour you a perfectly chilled pint.Overall, this hotel pub is a must-visit if you're in Adelaide. It's got the perfect combination of atmosphere, service, and top-notch drinks that makes for an unforgettable experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and check it out. You won't be disappointed!

Dylan: Having been to quite a few pubs in England, I can safely say the Exeter is the most authentic pub in Adelaide. The architecture, art, table arrangement, drinks on offer were all very welcomed. The crowd was rather friendly and mature. This will be my goto pub when visiting the CBD.

Jesse Scheer: Best pub in Adelaide hands downAtmosphere: 5/5 …

Carmel Slice: If you find yourself in Adelaide craving the epitome of wing perfection, look no further than this venue. Their wing night is an absolute triumph, though I do recommend placing your order well in advance to avoid any unforeseen disappointments. While the quality of their other menu items may fluctuate on different evenings, one cannot deny the certainty of a flawless wing night experience. It is a culinary oasis amidst variability. The pub itself is a delightful local haunt, boasting a commendable array of Australian beers. When the winter chill descends and the fire crackles merrily, it transforms into a sanctuary for meaningful conversations and cozy camaraderie.

Tan Me Baby: and they were the best I’ve had. The chips were perfect and salad dressing tasty. My partner had the burger with potato bun and loved it.Corn ribs were also great. Will definitely be back!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free meals were delicious.

Wendy Radloff: Fantastic new menu which has basically 98% of it as a gluten free option. I had the chicken schnitzel which was delicious and came with chips and salad. Too much to eat, but so tasty! Friends had the gf fish and chips which was 2 large pieces of fish, chips and salad, also gluten free as was the chicken parmigiana. Kitchen apparently has a dedicated gf space according to our waitress.

Nikkie Antonello: The food was absolutely amazing! We came here knowing they are coeliac safe for our daughter. The cauliflower bites, Brussels and chipotle chicken on the starters menu were yum!!! And the brisket is a must have. Definitely our new go to. 🤤Dietary restrictions: Safe for coeliacsKid-friendliness: Welcomed our young children and had delicious options for a young coeliac

Carmel Slice: My visits to The Archer have been a series of delightful discoveries! The cuisine, a culinary symphony that never fails to impress, leaves one's palate in raptures. And the gin selection—oh, a veritable labyrinth of juniper delights, each sip a journey through botanical wonderlands! The staff, with their warmth and attentiveness, have made each visit a joyous affair, accommodating our every whim with grace and charm. And let us not forget the pièce de résistance—the library upstairs, a sanctuary of elegance and tranquility, where one can lose oneself in a literary reverie amidst such gorgeous surroundings.I wholeheartedly recommend The Archer, whether for a spirited function or a casual evening of revelry. It is, without a doubt, a gem worthy of one's patronage. Cheers to many more memorable visits!

Graham O'Neil: Great night celebrating our son Angus' 21st birthday with family and friends. Thank you Ross and The Archer team, great service, great food and great atmosphere, much appreciated Graham and Rosalie.Dietary restrictions: Our vegan guests were also very well catered for.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible premises via the rear beer garden and disabled toilet well maintained and clean.
