Emma: Great atmosphere and wonderful staff who are queer friendly. The place had a good volume so friends could still talk easily.Drinks selection was wonderful, and there were lots of non alcohol options.Highly recommended.
Terry Nicolitsis: We came in around 10pm, and the venue was already busy, there must have been at least 12 people waiting, I can tell you we didn't even wait long, host was very welcoming and offered us a table, drinks followed not long after, bar snacks were just what we needed, great service and big smiles. Niloufar Ansari: Nice bar with friendly staff, coupled with great wines. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly and professional staff. The bar has a rooftop area, but our preference for the night was to sit downstairs at the bar; soft lighting, comfortable seating, and cool decorations.

Tellie Niarel: Had a 22nd birthday party here over the weekend, food was a little expensive but didn't disappoint us! Had an area for 35 guests booked in the fish tank area, we were given a small seated area that fitted around 10 of us, we were the furthest away from the fish tank. I was responsible for the cake and I was never told they didn't supply plates or napkins to serve. If you are gonna be advertising to have birthday, engagements and other events at the venue it should be made clear to bring your own cake supplies.

Dill Pickles: I had a great time visiting Cooper's Ale House for the first time! We came at the dinner rush and were seated and eating within 15 minutes. The Szechuan chicken salad was a highlight, really flavourful and the chicken was grilled perfectly. Usually I avoid breast, but the chicken was juicy and delicious. My friend and I were looking to have a quiet drink and book club after dinner, and the redheaded manager was so lovely and accommodating. She went out her way to seat us in a quiet spot when she saw we had books out. Food, staff, atmosphere were excellent, definitely coming back.

Kitchen apparently has a dedicated gf space according to our waitress.

The restaurant Bread & Bone and Maybe Mae are located in the same building, expect that for Maybe Mae you go downstairs to the basement and then try to find the “invisible door” 🙂Ended up trying 4 drinks - Bill Murray, Corpse Reviver, Odd Company and Poolside. Every drink was really good. I’d recommend folks to try more stuff from their ‘Hall of Fame’ menu.This place is a 100% recommendation for cocktail enthusiasts visiting Adelaide.

I don't drink alcohol, but was glad to see they had a few non-alcoholic specially drinks available.I would have liked a bit more range, particulalry as the zero beer would be, in my opinion, the worst one in the market, but I think the "non-drinker" wave is yet to fully be accepted.Keen to go back, maybe try some food next time.
Kelly O'Brien: We held my daughter's 18th birthday party in the function room upstairs and it was fabulous. The venue manager is second to none. Organised, super responsive and nothing was too much trouble. The room was perfect with seating in booths and plenty of room to dance. The bar is a good size so good access for getting drinks. Grazing table generous. I highly recommend Distill for any function/party.

Right from the outset, your service and willingness to assist was excellent and, to be honest, pleasantly surprising. Not only is the function space perfect for such occasions, you took all the stress away from organising such an event. We were able to enjoy the night watching our son and his friends have a fantastic time. With free venue hire, we felt the cost was very reasonable, particularly when you consider our designated security person and the monitoring of underage patrons. Having great IT infrastructure in place allowed us to display a photo presentation on loop and we were able to play our personal playlists through the venue’s sound system. Had a fantastic night and all we had to do was get home safely. Could not fault it and would encourage anyone looking to hold a stress-free function to consider Distill.

Michael-lyn Monks: Great friendly pub that has been revamped with taste. Service us excellent with staff accomadating where they can. Food was good and portion sizes ample. The only thing that was a bit off-putting was that certain items on the menu were served basic. Example Snitty / Parmy came with chips and gravey. Bel Harper: We had pre dinner drinks b4 ONG on Rundle. The wine n beer went down well. The attitude of Sophie to bar tender put a stop to that, shouting across the bar, twice. Small??? Then proceeded to literally throw the atm machine at me...this was after I interrupted her chatting with a colleague, a fill line of customers at the bar, my partner bought a beer..paid..then was told 'your welcome ' even before he had nano second to say thanks, with the implication that thanks was not in his dialogue. Sophie might be better suited further west...say Woolshed.
