Belinda Wellings: Don’t let the dingy darkness put you off. Push past the front bar and pokies to the back where the craft beer taps are.Take your time tasting the beers to find your preferred ale. Or grab a glass of wine.Watch the local bar flys and talk about life and love. That’s how we enjoyed the Little Pub!

Carmel Slice: If you find yourself in Adelaide and seeking the quintessential wing experience, look no further than this establishment. The wing night here is unparalleled, though I must advise you to place your order in advance to avoid disappointment. As for the other culinary offerings on different evenings, one might say they vary in quality, but the wings—ah, you simply cannot go wrong with wings night. It's a culinary certainty. The pub itself exudes a charming local ambiance, complete with a fine selection of Australian beers. During the winter months, when the fire crackles warmly, it becomes a haven for convivial gatherings and heartfelt conversations.

K K: Always a bit of a environmental compromise considering this venue is one of the very few that remain open until 5am every night. The chairs have started tearing and the coffee machine was being cleaned at 3am which was a little bit earlier than I’d have expected for a late shut venue. Staff friendly enough. Security polite and opened door for us. General sketchy pokie heads in attendance as usual at this type venue.Parking: At 3am it’s easily obtained. Carmel Slice: Lord Melbourne Hotel has achieved the pinnacle of chicken schnitzel perfection! Imagine, tenderly cooked to golden-brown perfection, accompanied by a symphony of crisp chips and fresh, vibrant salad. And let's not forget the piÚce de résistance: that luscious mushroom sauce, a savory delight that elevates each bite to new heights of culinary bliss!Of course, such culinary excellence is complemented by impeccable service, where each interaction is imbued with warmth and efficiency. Mark Mywords: and had a distinctive smell that I could smell before it came to my table. The taste was initially fishy and over seasoned, and I wasn't sure I'd made the right decision. However, it was delicious and filling. I feel I must describe the smell and taste, and it was basically the smell of an Asian grocer, that odd fermented, spicy, musty, 'museum-ey' smell. It wasn't unpleasant, just different, and I enjoyed it.Staff are friendly and attentive, with full table service a refreshing surprise. Chilled table water was promptly served, but I followed it up with a Margarita

Pratik Christian: Boasting sophisticated black and white styling with raw timber cladding and a white marble bar, the Queen Street Ballroom provides a chic backdrop for any style of event.Complementary in-house facilities: Exclusive bar, screen, projector with HDMI connectivity, cordless microphone and audio with smart device connectivity.Food is really good. I would highly recommend to try here if you are a true foodie. However, in terms of prices it's expensive. Overall I had a good experience.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian available

Kylie McLeod: This was a fantastic place for my daughter's 30th birthday. It's a gorgeous place, with a nice vibe and the Queen Street Ballroom came up beautifully with cosmic themed decorations.Their food was delicious, not the average finger food selection but still some good options for those with sensitive or less adventurous food needs. The staff were awesome, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.Would definitely use this venue again.

Tan Me Baby: I’ve eat here and enjoyed takeaway a few times and figure it’s time for a review. The food each and every time has been delicious. I’ve enjoyed the Green Veggie Laksa many times, the Malaysian Chicken Curry and on my last visit the Sambal Char Kueh Tiaw and the Slow-cooked Lamb Shank and they are now the clear front runners. It was very quiet in the dining room as it was a mid week evening but perhaps some louder background music is a good idea as the two other groups inside were very loud and it took over the whole venue. The team are friendly and have always shown us a lovely time.On the downside, more attention on the cleanliness of the bathrooms needs to be prioritised. It wasn’t a great experience.I do also like that their menu items offer a wine pairing suggestion and there are a good range of GF options.

Claire Page: Lovely historic hotel. It has been decorated very nicely inside. We had the whole place to ourselves when we went for lunch on a Sunday around 1.30pm. The service was very good and attentive. We had steaks which were cooked perfectly and tasted great. Parking is free in the street right out the front. You have to go down some steps to get to the main bar so it is not fully accessible but they have attempted to at least make the dining area and entrance wheelchair accessible.

Christopher Lowe: Five stars to the Unley for their amazing service and the food was awesome too!A short search for a place to have a Bucks show lunch led me to choose the Unley hotel. Their online reservation system was easy and a simple request put me in touch with Carlien and Nicole who did some amazing decorating for the special guy. Extraordinary customer service. Special shout out to Zoe who served us on the day.The food was also well priced, fast to arrive and good quality.Parking: Big carpark behind the hotel even has shade

Lesley Magill: Had a great meal at The Unley last night. The meal was great and the service was the standout. The lady who served us was an absolute gem - helpful, kind, lovely, above and beyond. The fireplace was perfect for a wild wintery night and the food was tasty and plentiful. Glad we chose to go there.Parking: Good carpark out the back to get you clear of busy Unley Rd

Belle Ballard: Absolutely fantastic experience working with The Unley for my best friend’s Bachelorette day-event. The staff were accomodating and friendly from start to finish. The pricing was very reasonable for the venue hire, drinks were tasty, finger food was delicious and the space itself was cozy, bright and easily customisable. It was a breeze having our event here and I would recommend to anyone.

Roshan De Silva: It’s all about good food and personalised services offered, great place to dine with family or group of friends enough space to host good Party,Kid-friendliness: It’s decent and safe place

Jasmine: Thursday afternoon /evening, drinks & a family catchup. Ordered share plates, food was quite nice but my review is to commend the exemplary service from the lovely girl with the dark curly hair & glasses; so friendly, accommodating & helpful & such a pleasant demeanour, she is absolutely an asset to the hotel. She was the difference between an average pub visit & a wonderful one & I thank her for her outstanding service.

Naidine Cullen: I held my 50th party here and it was such an easy, stress free experience. The staff were very helpful with setting up and packing up and through out the night. Very affordable packages and the food was delicious. Communication was great as well. Highly recommend The Unley for your next event, I’ll certainly come back. Many thanks to all involved.

Shae Desmet: From the atmosphere to the food, everything was impeccable. Came here to try it out for the first time while we were scoping venues for a small work dinner. The food was incredible and our service by Arthur and the waitresses just made us smile. We even popped into the gaming room on our way out to put a tenner in the pokies and the lady in there gave us incredible service too! We were looking for an event space and instead have found a new spot for date night. Thank you to all the staff!

Carli Leah: My daughter and I went here for mother's day. The staff was lovely, friendly and bent over backwards to make sure we had an exceptional experience. The food was good, the menu varied, the prices reasonable, and the serving sizes were huge!Unfortunately we were sat next to a family who had an elderly member who was hard of hearing, and they spoke really loudly when talking to her, which was like something from Fawlty towers. But that wasn't the fault of the restaurant. I wish they had requested a table away from other diners though. We were were placed in front of a huge window with lots of light, and our lunch was otherwise great.I've added a picture of my entree sized fish and chips, which was enough for a main even after I had eaten some of it. The children's menu portions are a similar size.Kid-friendliness: This place is fantastic for kids - the menu is great and the staff is accommodating.

Maria Purvis: Superb Hotel. Food fantastic, reasonably priced. Staff are amazing. Love this high class establishment. I come in from victor harbor . Don't eat any where else.!!!!

Bel Harper: We had pre dinner drinks b4 ONG on Rundle. The wine n beer went down well. The attitude of Sophie to bar tender put a stop to that, shouting across the bar, twice. Small??? Then proceeded to literally throw the atm machine at me...this was after I interrupted her chatting with a colleague, a fill line of customers at the bar, my partner bought a beer..paid..then was told 'your welcome ' even before he had nano second to say thanks, with the implication that thanks was not in his dialogue. Eric Aune: Great spot for a pint! đŸ»The Exitor Hotel pub offers a cool, covered outdoor setting just behind the bar area. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the Cooper's beers on tap are always cold and fresh. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a lively atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon.

Mickelson Plumbing: Tucked away in Adelaide, this hotel pub is an absolute gem that stands out for its cool atmosphere and impressive beer selection. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a warm, inviting ambiance that strikes the perfect balance between modern chic and classic pub charm. The decor is tastefully done, with cozy corners and stylish seating areas that make it easy to relax and unwind. Whether you're there for a casual drink or a night out with friends, the vibe is always spot on. The lighting is just right—not too dim, not too bright—and there's a laid-back buzz in the air that makes you want to stay for hours. What really sets this place apart, though, is the beer. The selection is fantastic, featuring a mix of local craft brews and well-known favorites. Whether you're a fan of crisp lagers, hoppy IPAs, or rich stouts, there's something on tap to suit your taste. The staff is knowledgeable and passionate about their beers, always ready to recommend something new or pour you a perfectly chilled pint.Overall, this hotel pub is a must-visit if you're in Adelaide. It's got the perfect combination of atmosphere, service, and top-notch drinks that makes for an unforgettable experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and check it out. You won't be disappointed!

Dylan: Having been to quite a few pubs in England, I can safely say the Exeter is the most authentic pub in Adelaide. The architecture, art, table arrangement, drinks on offer were all very welcomed. The crowd was rather friendly and mature. This will be my goto pub when visiting the CBD.

Their wing night is an absolute triumph, though I do recommend placing your order well in advance to avoid any unforeseen disappointments. While the quality of their other menu items may fluctuate on different evenings, one cannot deny the certainty of a flawless wing night experience. It is a culinary oasis amidst variability. The pub itself is a delightful local haunt, boasting a commendable array of Australian beers. Debra Fraser: Birthday lunch for Dad’s birthday and Father’s Day combined. We had both never been to McQueens tavern before so was looking forward to a new dining experience. Walked into a huge front bar area, then proceeded through to the bistro. Helpful lady took our details for booking and directed us to our booth. Large bistro area with a many tables and chairs along with about 5 booths. Booth was spacious and a view over the dining room. Orders a bottle of Wolf Blass Red label Chardonnay and we both couldn’t decide what to eat from the extensive menu. We opted for the Tikka Kebabs skewered with onion and capsicum and chargrilled. The 3 generous skewers came drizzled with Tikka sauce, rice, grilled flat bread, small bowl of extra Tikka sauce and a refreshing mint yoghurt dip. Wow we were impressed with this scrumptious meal. We both struggled to eat it all as was quite deliciously filling. Highly recommend and we will be back to try another dish from the menu. Lovely and friendly customer service to top it off. 5 stars 🌟Parking: Many parking spots

Kate Schneider: We went here for dinner last night and I can't fault it....my husband had oysters natural and I had oysters Kilpatrick well done for starters and both were superb. My husband had beef snitzel and gravy and the snitzel hung over his plate and was melt in the mouth delicious and I had pumpkin salad which consisted of hours, roast pumpkin, cauliflower and brussel sprouts with baby spinach leaves, olives, toasted almonds and feta cheese with a mustard vinaigrette and 2 triangles of toasted pita and I added the chicken to it which was char grilled and juicy.... I have never had a better salad in my life....we will most definitely be returning for another meal...price was excellent with start, main and a drink each for only $107.10 😛😛😛 highly recommendVegetarian options: Pumpkin saladKid-friendliness: Kids meals are huge

Mitch Renshaw: Stayed in the Heritage Room for one Saturday night and had dinner in the restaurant. The room was cozy and very comfortable. Heritage room had access to the balcony. The balcony is shared between three rooms with dividers between each. You could walk around the dividers though if a friend is in the balcony room next door. Heritage room is in the centre and Mt Lofty and Tiers rooms are on the sides I believe. If you’re worried about noise staying above the restaurant it was very little issue. Not loud at all and completely quiet after 10 when they close. The noise can come from the fireplace. I think it must be an electronic exhaust or something but it got to be quite loud sometimes. The ducted air conditioning in the room made it so we didn’t need the fireplace on all night anyway so it was fine.It was certainly warm enough on a very cold night. Having the minibar stocked with various drinks and snacks be included at no extra cost was amazing! This goes for the breakfast in the shared nook too. The croissants were hot and fresh at 7.15am along with various cereals, coffee, juice, fruit, and yogurt. Newspaper was even dropped at our door for free in the morning! The restaurant was nice. No problems, the food was good but nothing outstanding
at least from what we had. I was told the menu changes frequently so perhaps another visit is needed. The highlight in the restaurant was the warm cocktail they made off the August monthly specials list. The staff were all incredible too. Friendly and very knowledgeable when it came to questions about the menu.I could see myself returning for another stay here, perhaps in the summer. Thanks Crafers Hotel.

Kirsty: It's always a fantastic stay. Can't recommend it enough.Rooms are beautiful, food is excellent, service is fantastic.Rooms: Very clean, comfortable, stylish.Food & drinks: Delicious meals, great wine list. A couple vegan options.
