Fire Hazard: This is a great place to find high quality baked goods. They are open 24/7 and have phenomenal staff. Everything we tried was great and we would get it again.Kid-friendliness: Lots of kid friendly options.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp right through the front door with plenty of seating.
Matthew McLean: Hi management, can I recommend training the new staff on knowing the same price as the sign on the shelf. Tonight, I was overcharged, and your team member needed correcting. This happened another time I went in also. Both times, they refunded the difference, though it took a slight debate. You may need to identify a bum steer the new team members might be getting.

Baking has been carried out at 54 Tynte Street almost continuously for over 160 years. The bakery was built in the early 1850s and altered to its present appearance in 1868. The Perryman family founded Perryman’s Bakery in 1925 and the business stayed in the family for 3 generations until it was sold to us in 2011.
The Perryman’s based the business on tradition, with many of the items baked using original family German recipes. This tradition continues today, as we bake onsite daily using premium, locally sourced ingredients including free range eggs, flour, vegetables, dairy and meats.
We pride ourselves on our artisan sourdough and ciabatta bread range, which included rolls, viennas, baguettes and sandwich loaves. We produce and bake our bread fresh daily, Monday to Sunday.
We can create a variety of cakes for birthday and other special events. Using quality ingredients including free range eggs and fresh cream, a cake by Perryman’s is great for any kind of celebration. Cakes can be personalised with a message written on top and your choice of decoration.
Don’t forget the sourdough you need for the weekend! Maybe some Rye for your Sunday morning cooked breakfast, or some square white loaves to wrap around sausages for the kids, or a baguette to cut up for a cheese platter. Kelly Mearns: Must be the best bakery in Adelaide! The food is so fresh and the taste is so good you just know high quality ingredients have been used. My favourite bakery by far.Consistent good quality food that keeps me coming back again and again.

And how much is it” on ALL the sweet options, esp when there are customers lined up behind you.My first visit, plenty reasons to go back for, another day. James McCall: The best vanilla slice I’ve ever had, and the children gave their kranskies and cinnamon donuts a 10/10.Also, the way the staff handled a rude, bossy old woman is to be commended. But that’s North Adelaide for you, I guess.Great job to a bakery that’s punching well above its weight.

Max Chaff: An absolute institution of North Adelaide.It was slinging baked wares well before my parents were conceived and hopefully will still be doing so after I am long gone.The pasties are arguably the best in adelaide, they aren’t quite up to their prime from around 15 years ago but hands down the best beesting in adelaide and the cheese and onion sourdough is the greatest bread I have ever had the pleasure of consuming.The only pity is they only offer the sourdough on Saturdays.An excellent kids playground is at the end of the street a great excuse for a bakery picnic outing when the kids are sick of toast.
Happy Mummy: . But please, your beef pies sell out early every day, while loads of sausage rolls, pasties and other pies still fill the shelves. Why won't you adjust to the demand? Please, make more pies! To line up for a while, only to find out the one thing you want is already sold out by 12pm, you can do better! I have seen other people disappointed by this too.

I purposely bought extra food to ensure our guests were all well fed and to have a few leftovers for the next day. The food was such a hit that there was nothing left! Mars Cuts: Always great to have a bakery near where you work. Especially when you need something quick for lunch. It felt like pie weather. I do prefer the pie to be a little warmer than what it was.Still quite a good pie with a good amount of chunky beef pieces.Lots of pastries options to choose from too.

The pie had a slight golden tinge to the lid with some pepper sprinkled on top, slight crunch and a bit of flakiness to it. The pastry, well cooked above and the underside perfect.The filling had delicious big soft chunks of steak, a nice peppery bang to the gravy, wasn't too powerful and not too weak, just the right amount of pepper. The meat to gravy ratio, a few more chunks of steak than the norm, but there's nothing wrong with that, works for me. The serving temp was pretty spot on and the pie held up together perfectly.It was a pretty decent pepper pie.Plain Mince Pie - $5.40Pretty good value for a pie my thoughts.Got it out of the bag. A tad smaller than what I was expecting, but for $5.40 you can't knock that. The pastry had a sort of whitish look to it. I Wasn't totally convinced with the gravy, i think it was lacking something. The mince to gravy ratio was ok, wasn't too runny or sloppy. The serving temp wasn't too bad and the pie held up nicely. Their London buns are excellent, combining the right amount of sweetness with a hint of spice and currants for a balanced flavour. The pastie, filled with a well-seasoned mix of vegetables and meat, enclosed in a flaky, golden crust, and sauce inside the pasty, is the real deal.Parking: Lunch time on a beautiful sunny day is always going to be a challenge to find a park.
Joel Fiddler: Had the pepper steak pie and couldn't fault it.Huge soft chunks of real steak and sause is from a bottle which makes a difference. A great pie, however at $7.70 they don't come cheap!Parking: As you can imagine the main road is difficult to get a park on weekends.

Buttery, soft, a semi flaky top, cooked pretty good imo. Inside was packed full of bacon, a few tender pieces of steak and the cheesey gravy was 👌👌the gravy content was spot on. when I started eating it I was sceptical that it would fall apart, passed the one hand test lol. held up perfectly.
