Perrymans Bakery: what do users think?

Kelly Mearns: Must be the best bakery in Adelaide! The food is so fresh and the taste is so good you just know high quality ingredients have been used. My favourite bakery by far.Consistent good quality food that keeps me coming back again and again.

Sea Breeze: .It would be nice to see a list of all the sweet items for sale, with prices. Or labels inside the glass cases. Nobody wants to quiz the staff on “what is this? And how much is it” on ALL the sweet options, esp when there are customers lined up behind you.My first visit, plenty reasons to go back for, another day. Thai sausage roll for lunch etc, and beestings in different sizes.Hardworking staffParking: Ok amount of 30min parks outside the bakery, but was not there at peak time.

James McCall: The best vanilla slice I’ve ever had, and the children gave their kranskies and cinnamon donuts a 10/10.Also, the way the staff handled a rude, bossy old woman is to be commended. But that’s North Adelaide for you, I guess.Great job to a bakery that’s punching well above its weight.

Chad Mckenzie: Great local bakery, I couldn't believe how many people came in buying the sòurdough bread.Coffee was really good and we enjoyed sitting out under the umbrellas watching the world go by.Staff were full of good cheer and were very welcoming.

Max Chaff: An absolute institution of North Adelaide. It was slinging baked wares well before my parents were conceived and hopefully will still be doing so after I am long gone. The pasties are arguably the best in adelaide, they aren’t quite up to their prime from around 15 years ago but hands down the best beesting in adelaide and the cheese and onion sourdough is the greatest bread I have ever had the pleasure of consuming. The only pity is they only offer the sourdough on Saturdays. An excellent kids playground is at the end of the street a great excuse for a bakery picnic outing when the kids are sick of toast.

Happy Mummy: . But please, your beef pies sell out early every day, while loads of sausage rolls, pasties and other pies still fill the shelves. Why won't you adjust to the demand? Please, make more pies! To line up for a while, only to find out the one thing you want is already sold out by 12pm, you can do better! I have seen other people disappointed by this too.

Rachel: Ordered a selection of cocktail sweets for a special occasion. Excellent quality, easy to order online, was ready on time & staff great to deal with.

Betty S: .Each piece was $9.5-9.8, definitely on the expensive side for the size. The cakes’ flavours are slightly underwhelming, I believe they could do with a bit more flavour in the sponge/cream and slightly more sweetness, but you can tell the ingredients are fresh and presentation/service/ambience is very relaxing ^^

This happened another time I went in also. Both times, they refunded the difference, though it took a slight debate. You may need to identify a bum steer the new team members might be getting.

The Cupcake Lady: what do users think?

Mon Set: The best cupcakes in Adelaide, hands down.

Lauren Sellek: at the Show this year. They were delicious! The flavours were all spot on as described. The cookie dough cakes are very sweet but not sickeningly so. We had a small mix up with some flavours we ordered, but Ben was very quick to respond and organise for the correct flavours to be available to us. Will come again. :

Natasha Sergi: Not only are the cupcakes absolutely amazing, but I recently preordered cupcakes for Easter with a pick up date of the Thursday before Good Friday. When that Thursday came around I ended up injuring myself at work and was unable to walk, I was so focused on the injury that obviously I completely forgot about the cupcakes. When they called me I told them I wouldn’t be able to collect them because I couldn’t walk and I was happy to let them keep the cupcakes and take the loss, but instead they kindle offered to deliver them to me free of charge since I only live a few minutes from the pick up location. So thank you cupcake lady team. I appreciate you so much

Georgia Matene: Friendliest service and yummiest cupcakes ever!!!! 10/10 would definitely recommend to anyone for any occasion!

Cindy Katsilioris: When we contacted The Cupcake Lady with our idea for our Marvel symbol edible images on the cupcakes and the date of our Wedding thankfully they were available to make the cupcakes. Lucky for us The Cupcake Lady had just opened a store in the middle of the shopping centre at Golden Grove so we were able to purchase some different flavours to try. I was very grateful that Ben confirmed they could include mint as it is my favourite flavour for one of our cupcake flavours. Ben also made sure the patty pans matched perfectly with our Marvel symbol edible images. We provided the images and were so impressed with the end product.Iron Man - Nutella with Gold patty panDeadpool - Red Velvet with Red patty panThor – Vanilla Cupcake with Cookies and Cream with Silverpatty panLoki - Zesty Lemon with Gold patty pan, these beingGFO/VGOCaptain America - Honeycomb with Blue patty panHawkeye - Double Chocolate with Black patty panHulk - Mint with Green patty panWe hired a stand for the cupcakes and the cake on top for the cake cutting. We wanted the cupcakes to be the main dessert which they certainly were. We got so many glowing comments about the images on the cupcakes and the taste. Due to our small Wedding people were able to try a couple on the night or have one and take one or more home in the dome containers we purchased from The Cupcake Lady for just that purpose! We are very appreciative of all the effort to make the cupcakes exactly want we envisioned for our Wedding. Thank you so very much. We highly recommend The Cupcake Lady for any of your cupcake needs 10/10

Tahlia Parrish: Amazing cupcakes, beautifully decorated and just delicious! Highly recommend the red velvet and also the salted caramel.

Tom Bammann: Delightful store, perfect for vegan options and printable images on cupcakes makes our kids vegan birthday a breeze.

Would recommend The Cupcake Lady to everyone. Thanks team!

Ruth Chapman: Absolutely fabulous! 21st party cupcake tower was a big hit. Delicious cakes and perfect for a stand up cocktail event. Great communication and easy pick up. Highly recommend.

Rebecca Tompkins: A local pastry icon that is a little bit of Greece with every bite. Even the New York Cheesecake tasted like it spent a few days on the isle that is the store's namesake. Decent, rich creamy and feels like your grandmother's cooking. The decor is a loving homage Greece and the family history. Generations of love is in each bite. The flat white coffee was velvety and smooth. A fantastic pick-me-up. Be mindful that it's a small shop and can be noisy at busy times. There's alfresco dining outside. Right across the road from Drake's Torrensville, Kalymnos Pastries is a lovely place to drop in after getting your weekly groceries. The staff are friendly and welcoming. It was my first time ever today. I'm wondering why I took so long to visit. Food filled with flavour and heart.

Crisenda Casimiro: Pastries are good! Will definitely buy again. However, I was disappointed with the hot chocolate that I ordered. It didn’t taste like chocolate at all.. it was like drinking hot full cream milk 😅 so Im never ordering hot drinks anymore

Natasha Nel: We had our daughter’s 9th birthday party at Scoffed and everyone loved it! It is so well organised and we didn’t have to do a thing. The chef was great too and really good with the children. Will definitely be back!

Emma Rieger: We had our daughter’s 7th birthday party at scoffed and it was brilliant. The staff were lovely and the kids had a fabulous time cooking! Highly recommend.

Briony Leembruggen: Loved the "pace" of the night, allowing us to still socialise and eat our meal together. Q&A was great too!A great team experience!

Slav K: .

Matt Cook: A great experience to learn the tips and tricks to cook all the BBQ favourites. Very well run by people who know food!

Alex Corones: Attended the American Low 'n' Slow BBQ cooking class. Informative and enjoyable. I've been doing L&S for a while, but picked up some new skills, techniques and recipes. Would recommend.

Paula B: Kids cooking classes during the school holidays - great friendly staff and kids loved it. Learnt the basics of the kitchen including hygiene. Will be back.

Anna: It was good, however the recipe could be improved. I made the Christmas eclairs. we used white chocolate on top which is just too sweet for some people so I think having the option to choose between the type of chocolate you put on top would be a good idea. Another way to improve it would be by making the instructions for the custard more clear to avoid over cooking it and making a chunky custard. It was hard to tell if the heat was correct and I think that the custard was a section where everyone required a bit more guidance. Overall, the course was fun and I learnt some tips to improve my cooking.

Jahcinta Clark: This was so much fun!! We went for our work Christmas party and everyone loved it! Chef Tony was so helpful and made the process so easy. Highly recommend and will definitely be back

Deborah Lindsay: I attended the Thai Banquet class. The food was yummy and our chef was very talented and informative. It is so nice to feel like you can recreate what you make at home.

Marianne Richa Zouein: My daughter enjoyed the class and is looking forward to going again. Thank you for the exquisite experience!

Denise Spares: , and goodness knows the focus levels of the kids varied as well. The kids learned kitchen safety with how to hold knives, move around the kitchen walking with the knife

Fraser Thomson: Was given the '4th of July' class as a birthday present, and couldn't have been happier. Tim and Alon were both very insightful, helpful and very entertaining. The entire experience was incredible for start to finish and to top it off the food was absolutely incredible and left completely satisfied, highly reccomend as a gift to give someone or just an experience worth trying.

Fouché Erasmus: Great place with friendly staff who will show you how to have fun while cooking amazing tasting food.

Antonia Moran: I’ve attended a cooking class and MKR event with scoffed and both were brilliant. I couldn’t recommend Scoffed more.

Angela Aschberger: My kids always enjoy classes here, and it's helpful to have the recipe afterwards to be able to recreate the food at home. I love that they get to try new foods and learn kitchen skills like proper knife technique, etc. The ability of the teaching chefs to adapt to the different ages of children in the classes is really great, and means the older kids can be extended while the younger ones still learn the basics.

Khajiho Tokunaga: We did the ginger bread house workshop with about 20 people. It was so much fun! The class was really easy to follow and the staff were lovely. Highly recommend

Cainara J. B. Burton: Best place for real life skills! Could not recommend it highly enough! If you are in doubt where to take your kids on weekends or holidays… this is one of the best money you can spend
