Kelly Mearns: Must be the best bakery in Adelaide! The food is so fresh and the taste is so good you just know high quality ingredients have been used. My favourite bakery by far.Consistent good quality food that keeps me coming back again and again.

Sea Breeze: .It would be nice to see a list of all the sweet items for sale, with prices. Or labels inside the glass cases. Nobody wants to quiz the staff on “what is this? And how much is it” on ALL the sweet options, esp when there are customers lined up behind you.My first visit, plenty reasons to go back for, another day. Thai sausage roll for lunch etc, and beestings in different sizes.Hardworking staffParking: Ok amount of 30min parks outside the bakery, but was not there at peak time.

James McCall: The best vanilla slice I’ve ever had, and the children gave their kranskies and cinnamon donuts a 10/10.Also, the way the staff handled a rude, bossy old woman is to be commended. But that’s North Adelaide for you, I guess.Great job to a bakery that’s punching well above its weight.

Chad Mckenzie: Great local bakery, I couldn't believe how many people came in buying the sòurdough bread.Coffee was really good and we enjoyed sitting out under the umbrellas watching the world go by.Staff were full of good cheer and were very welcoming.

Max Chaff: An absolute institution of North Adelaide. It was slinging baked wares well before my parents were conceived and hopefully will still be doing so after I am long gone. The pasties are arguably the best in adelaide, they aren’t quite up to their prime from around 15 years ago but hands down the best beesting in adelaide and the cheese and onion sourdough is the greatest bread I have ever had the pleasure of consuming. The only pity is they only offer the sourdough on Saturdays. An excellent kids playground is at the end of the street a great excuse for a bakery picnic outing when the kids are sick of toast.

Happy Mummy: . But please, your beef pies sell out early every day, while loads of sausage rolls, pasties and other pies still fill the shelves. Why won't you adjust to the demand? Please, make more pies! To line up for a while, only to find out the one thing you want is already sold out by 12pm, you can do better! I have seen other people disappointed by this too.

Rachel: Ordered a selection of cocktail sweets for a special occasion. Excellent quality, easy to order online, was ready on time & staff great to deal with.

Fire Hazard: This is a great place to find high quality baked goods. They are open 24/7 and have phenomenal staff. Everything we tried was great and we would get it again.Kid-friendliness: Lots of kid friendly options.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp right through the front door with plenty of seating.

Matthew McLean: Hi management, can I recommend training the new staff on knowing the same price as the sign on the shelf. Tonight, I was overcharged, and your team member needed correcting. This happened another time I went in also. Both times, they refunded the difference, though it took a slight debate. You may need to identify a bum steer the new team members might be getting.

Timothy Hickman: Best pies in Adelaide big range great flavours pie of the month Aussie Lamb superb with mint jelly cannot wait for plates to come back good coffee to.Wheelchair accessibility: Appears to be good with ramp in and out might be a bit tight internally with tables and chairs.

Betty S: .Each piece was $9.5-9.8, definitely on the expensive side for the size. The cakes’ flavours are slightly underwhelming, I believe they could do with a bit more flavour in the sponge/cream and slightly more sweetness, but you can tell the ingredients are fresh and presentation/service/ambience is very relaxing ^^

Mars Cuts: Always great to have a bakery near where you work. Especially when you need something quick for lunch. It felt like pie weather. I do prefer the pie to be a little warmer than what it was.Still quite a good pie with a good amount of chunky beef pieces.Lots of pastries options to choose from too.

Marty Godfrey: Had about 10 different pies on the menu, got a couple of pies to try out.Chunky Steak & Pepper Pie $6.5The pie felt quite heavy, Got it out of the bag, from the look of it I was liking it already. The pie had a slight golden tinge to the lid with some pepper sprinkled on top, slight crunch and a bit of flakiness to it. The pastry, well cooked above and the underside perfect. The filling had delicious big soft chunks of steak, a nice peppery bang to the gravy, wasn't too powerful and not too weak, just the right amount of pepper. The meat to gravy ratio, a few more chunks of steak than the norm, but there's nothing wrong with that, works for me. The serving temp was pretty spot on and the pie held up together perfectly. It was a pretty decent pepper pie.Plain Mince Pie - $5.40Pretty good value for a pie my thoughts.Got it out of the bag. A tad smaller than what I was expecting, but for $5.40 you can't knock that. The pastry had a sort of whitish look to it. Has a nice soft lid, little bit of flakiness, cooked perfectly on top and the underside was good.Biting into it revealed a taste of onion, the mince had a very light brown look to it, no grissle. I Wasn't totally convinced with the gravy, i think it was lacking something. The mince to gravy ratio was ok, wasn't too runny or sloppy. The serving temp wasn't too bad and the pie held up nicely. It was just your average plain mince pie.1 Mitchell St, Hyde Park SA 5061#MeatPie#MeatPieAppreciationGroup#HydePark#FridayPiedayFor more Meat Pie reviews, join my group on Facebook the Meat Pie Appreciation Group

Barry Lant: Bacon and egg brioche with coffee. Yum

Liz Venn: Great coffee and Chai lattes. Great carrot cake, and apple & cinnamon rolls😊

Cannelle French Pastries: what do users think?

CY Leow: We had the pan au Chocolat and the custard cornetiWill definitely be back !

Michael Dow: Continues to have great pastries with the new owner. Some new things are being tried, eg, the danishes have a clear jelly coating, which is a bit thick and so looks odd. There are some new products: a Nutella cream filled pastry, which has too much filling. If you like pastry cream you might love it. My kids were delighted initially, but then gave up on it and ate around the filling.

Brenton Collas: Croissants are back on. I had an average experience here after the change of ownership, but went past this morning and grabbed a couple of plain croissants. They were fantastic. Looking forward to returning for my croissant fix.

Karl: The Best Croissants in Adelaide! These croissants are light and buttery while also being flakey and the right amount of chewy! Many other treats in store to try also but for me it’s a classic croissant every time. Make sure to phone ahead if you want some because they seem to sell out quick!

Nitin Khanna: Great people and awesome food

Roma van der Walt: I rarely write a review just to counter the reviews of people who don't take the time to get to know a legacy business like Canelle. They sell the best croissants in Adelaide, period. Those who have been going for years or even decades, would have known that there was a change in ownership between parties that had been in contact for a long time and knowing that the previous owner wouldn't have sold to someone they didn't trust with their recipe. And with change, comes a bit of adjustment. The difference in dough was due to external circumstances and was fixed by the current owner quickly. If you take the time to chat with him, he loves his trade, takes it very seriously and spends hard working hours none of us would want to work, to ensure that his baked goods come out as close to perfect as possible. He shouldn't be negatively impacted by a one-off experience. But frankly, for those who aren't going back: More croissants for us!

Vida Barrington: If your aim was to make the worst beef pie- nailed it. No mince just disgusting brown runny slush - can’t get it out of my head - vomitous

Keirstie Bull: Organised cakes & 30 take away coffees for an event. The team were great; friendly & efficient.

Catherine Hodgkinson: and the coffee, seriously amazing for a bakery! It's hard to get a good coffee in a cafe, but in a bakery it's usually hit and miss. Not this bakery! I'm impressed. Thank you.

Marty Godfrey: Steak, Bacon & Cheese pie $6.50this bakery specialises in french pastries, croissants 🥐, scrolls etc, but they also have pies ! not the biggest selection about 6 different varieties.Well the pie looked a decent size for six fifty, from the outside the pastry looked well cooked, the first bite sort of tasted a bit croissant like. Buttery, soft, a semi flaky top, cooked pretty good imo. Inside was packed full of bacon, a few tender pieces of steak and the cheesey gravy was 👌👌the gravy content was spot on. when I started eating it I was sceptical that it would fall apart, passed the one hand test lol. held up perfectly. Bill Quinn: One of my local eateries. I'm not a big visitor to bakeries and can't really comment on their range of products, but they do fulfill my basic requirement: a full breakfast that serves as breakfast and lunch in one hit. Very moderately priced and good value. I'm in there roughly once a week.I haven't tried this yet, but they're open several nights a week for pizzas OR you can buy the ready-made pizza bases.I have noticed while there that they're very popular for bulk orders of all sorts of baked items.

Richard Mansfield: Best Italian BAKERY, soo much on offer and priced so it doesn't break the budget..

Amanda Blair: and their Italian donuts . Quiches are great too.

Katie McKenzie-Smith: The best pastries yum!! The friendliest staff too 100%
