Robert SMITH-CLARE: Nothing more chilled than walking around a botanic garden. This one has some great features - including a hot house with a giant lilly. There is also a museum of economic plants. Sounds dull? - we thought so too, but we went in and were enraptured by the place, were in there for nearly an hour.Why? If I describe it, it will sound dull so just give it a go.

Nal Nal: A place I want to come to whenever I have time. I’m impressed that there are so many pretty places in Adelaide. Dog-sized wallabies are running everywhere and the wild flowers are fragrant and very pretty.

Rob Wallis: A great recreation park for a hike or a picnic. Plenty of wildlife if you are into photography. In winter, maybe bring a rain jacket, just in case.

I almost always see an abundance of lizards here, including the Tawny Dragons and White's Skinks which I have found nowhere else in the Adelaide foothills but at Anstey Hill. They are fast to hide and it is likely you'll miss them unless you go looking.

Melissa Nguyen: It's just a nice place to relax, you can sit in the little shelter when it rains. If you're lucky, you might even find some wildlife approaching you, its really endearing, the animals are fantastic, believe me. A black goose approached me and let me get real close to it. Really a once in a lifetime experience, though i haven't been to any festivals, i can see that they're really fun.
Eddie Uchenna: Our trip to Elder Park happened to align with the OzAsia Festival, or perhaps it was the Dumpling Festival. The park was clean and well-kept, lit up by thousands of lanterns that made for a mesmerizing sight. The lake beside the park added to its picturesque scenery. We also enjoyed a fantastic view of the Adelaide Oval, which is brilliantly lit with rainbow colors at night.

Yana Gilling: Beautiful reserve with lots to do. It has an awesome playground that has recently been done. It has lots of grassy areas to kick a ball. It has the lake at the end to walk around with ducks and fish in it. It's very well dobe and such a great place to visit.

They also have a path that loops around the entire reserve which is a good walk/run for some exercise.Across the road from The Rezz so great to go for dinner/drink after playing.A very interesting and big playground for kids. Ponds with ducks who are very interested in food.Barbeques, open grass areas, picnic tables. I have seen lots of birthday parties happen here on weekends.Also has a small exercise equipment area near the main entrance.Playground: Newly built playground. Lots of swings. Sandpit with tools. Big slide. Climbing equipment. Mini trampolines. Zip line for the bigger kiddies. A couple musical pieces.
