Thea Tea Shop: what do users think?

Emilie Wilson: .The drink was delicious and strongly tasted of almonds/marzipan!

habibi uzumaki: You feel at home hereThe service is very friendlyThe food is really delicious 🤤I could eat there the hole dayHigh recommendation

Gigi Huang: It is a vegetarian restaurant opened by a Taiwanese family. I come here every time I miss the ancient rice noodle soup. It is the best tea shop in Adelaide, but the milk is not delicious. There are also Taiwanese snacks downstairs. Although there are few items, you can browse them.

Cheryl: Best place to come for vegans/vegetarians. The owners are super nice.

Chris Green: This is easily my favourite place in the CBD to eat, and has been for 20 years. Everyone who knows about this little gem raves on about it, because the food is absolutely amazing but also the staff are some of the most pleasant people I’ve ever met. I always feel enriched when I leave Thea Tea Shop, from the fantastic food and warm staff.

Shreya Raijada: Being a vegetarian it used to be my favorite place for lunch when I worked in the city. I still sometimes crave the cold spicy noodles

andrew lord: A little oasis of vegan calm.A restaurant with "sweet and sour thing" on the menu is obviously completely endearing. The food is delicious, the service is friendly, the serves are generous, the prices are good.Meat eaters need not be put off by the vegan thing. This is a very good lunch spot.Vegetarian options: Menu is fully vegan

4chillies: I'm a carnivore but I'm a long time fan of Thea Tea Shop. It's plant based but still filling and flavoursome. It's one of the few places that I drink flavoured teas - the passionfruit one is my go to. Lots of variety on the menu.Vegetarian options: Yes!Dietary restrictions: Catered for.Parking: Lots of options.Kid-friendliness: Yes.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.

Liz De Koning: This is my favourite vegetarian place to eat - I've been coming for years and the food is ALWAYS great, the service is exceptional, and I love the Zen atmosphere. Plus, Japanese teas! What more can I say?Do yourself a favour and check it out if you are vego or vegan, even caters for gf!Vegetarian options: ALL vegetarian!Dietary restrictions: Caters for GF

Sam Stanton: Best cafe in Adelaide. Maybe the world. This place has a unique spin on everything they do, which is refreshing in a world full of smashed avo on toast. The staff are so friendly and remember you after just a couple of visits. Their coffee is consistently a 10/10, it never misses. Creamy, strong and perfect temperature. They don't mess around with that. If I lived closer i would be there every morning. Please open one in the city!!!

Crack Kitchen: what do users think?

Daniel Weston: An absolutely charming and characterful place for breakfast. My husband and I are new to the area and have found our ‘regular’ in Crack Kitchen. Food was amazing, the French toast will not disappoint and the coffee impressed us Melbourne coffee snobs. Feedback is encouraged and welcomed by staff on collection of plates, which shows their unique approach to customer service.Loved the little history lesson about the bank building on the menu - however the desire for the French toast is what brings me back.See you next time!CheersDan and Billy.

Burbuqe Shaqiri: The best coffee I’ve had in Adelaide. The food was pretty amazing too.

Timothy Mansfield: . The spinach was proper, grown up spinach cooked just right so it still has texture. But the chipolatas! They had these kind of crunchy, caramelised little corner bits on them. Just little parcels of yum.Why are you still reading this review? Go there now.

Kappy's Tea & Coffee: what do users think?

Hugo Walker-Mizgalski: good coffee good vibe

Stephen Fieldhouse-Herreen: What an amazing find!Friendly, knowledgeable chaps and a good range of teas. A wonderful place to both purchase teas and to sit down and enjoy a good cuppa and a chat with the erudite guys who really know their tea and coffee. Lovely quiet spot in the heart of the city.

Susan Swaney: I purchased 2kg of nurses blend and Kappy's accidently sent the wrong one. When I let them know they immediately sent the correct blend. You'll have me as a customer for life. Thanks Kappys. I love your Nurse's blend too.

Tim Laycock: Best coffee in the CBD

bonbon and pumpkin: Classical music in the background, the smell of caffeine, and plenty of places to sit for a while to relaxThe proprietor, Simon is extremely well informed about his brews , and takes great pride in making a great cup of coffee.Kappys has two coffee machine , including the oldest working machine in South Australia circa 1951. It takes 35 minutes to warm up and is only usually turned on Friday and Saturday and only makes double ristrettos . This machine takes longer than a modern machine to extract the coffee , and uses half the amount of water , but there is no acidity in this brew - definitely recommend trying this if you are a coffee fan .Kappys also offers some interesting teas if coffee is not your drink of choice .There is only one cake made daily by a retired chef - I was lucky enough to have the mandarin and almond cake, which was so moist and had a loads of texture

ira werner: The BEST espresso we have had. No question. Simon, the owner, takes intense pride in his coffee, raising it to an art. Sources his own beans, roasts them in site. You get fresh coffee, choice of a dozen types of beans. And uses an original espresso machine. This place is the highest level coffee and teas, and yet the prices are less than anywhere else

Jamie Rowe: Was a medium roast, with large ice chunks. Was very refreshing.4.6/5 ⭐They had a gluten free mandarin cake, that came with fresh cream. Super moist, like home made.4.7/5 ⭐This is way more than a "cafe" it's a historical journey, that brings you to the roots of coffee and tea here in Adelaide and Australia.I will be regularly coming back, and will share with my friends. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Jade McMahon: Always a lovely experience visiting Kappys. The tea is quality, delish and super well priced and the conversation is always lovely 😍

Georgia: So cute. Friendly staff

Sam Pats: Huge range of tea of all types. Very interesting concoctions. I got some valerian there once to help me sleep. You have a coffee there and you feel like you're actually drinking a cup of coffee, not just a cup of warm milk like many other places. They have a small but excellent range of coffee beans. Their B and J blends are legendary. I recently got some beans from Burundi where Arsene is from and they are faint-makingly great. The prices are very reasonable for what you get - the best tea and coffee in Adelaide!

Laura Wright: Kappy's is a must visit for any tea or coffee lover!! I am the 4th generation of shopper with Kappy's with my great grandmother first shopping with this business and passing on the tradition with both coffee and tea drinkers. The Owner Simon will happily answer any questions you have about the different verity's or tea and coffee and will help you pick out one that will best suit your pallet.

Danika Robinson: The best matcha latte ever!!

Nikko: Awesome place to peruse the multitude of high quality coffee and teas. Brilliant staff who are truly experts on coffee and tea. Simon is a total legend. Keep up the great work. Our family have been customers of the Kappy's establishment since inception and have never gone anywhere else for our teas and coffee. With this quality, why would you?!

Elizabeth Martin: They make the best iced coffee ever! Delicious the whole way through 😍 also love the cute set up & how you can see the massive coffee roaster when you walk in! 10/10 would recommend to everyone that loves tea or coffee! They have a beautiful selection of loose leaf tea’s & various coffee beans available for purchase, there’s so many to choose from!

Monica Cheng: Not a fancy place, seemingly a garage rather than a tea house but the owner knows its stuff well. It ticked my box as a respected tea house. I was looking for a decent Pu'er in the city. They served me with the pot of second-round hot water, as the first round is just to "wake the tea up". The tea is of good quality, as it stands the test of third-round of boiling water without losing much taste. In my experience, it is either more than 3 years' old or from a rather old tree in Yunan. A truly pleasant afternoon tea experience. The roof is laid with old coffee bean bags and an oldest coffee roaster in the middle of the house. It appears to be a house full of stories...

LILLY WILLIAMS: Lovely coffee shop, as I had iced almond latte and oh boy I really love it, as it was so delicious and the coffee taste like it had a hint of vanillaLovely stuff here as I never had any issues at all

Julie C: Great coffee and dirty chai!

Sam Pats: A huge selection of light, medium or dark roasted quality coffee beans. My current favourites are the Peru Feminino medium roast and the Deutschland blend. This place is superior to most other roasters in Adelaide, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable too.Update: The new location inside the central market is cosier but got a bit hot inside the shop during the warmer days for my liking. Still a great place to buy a huge variety of top quality coffee beans for good value. Big range of single origin and some interesting blends. The staff are great and passionate. Today I got the Tuscan House blend because I liked the sound of it. Tuscan is made up of I believe five individual beans resulting in a sweet, medium to strong blend that would be great for a range of preparation methods. I used an espresso machine and had some milk with it. Very nice indeed. This blend would be a good crowd-pleaser if you have a variety of folk to cater for.

Patricia Chigwidden: Lovely staff, huge range, very reasonable prices, nice, comfortable seat. Feeling refreshed.

Everything we tried was great and we would get it again.Kid-friendliness: Lots of kid friendly options.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp right through the front door with plenty of seating.

Matthew McLean: Hi management, can I recommend training the new staff on knowing the same price as the sign on the shelf. Tonight, I was overcharged, and your team member needed correcting. This happened another time I went in also. Both times, they refunded the difference, though it took a slight debate. You may need to identify a bum steer the new team members might be getting.

The Barun (Sefton Park): what do users think?

Kel: The coffee is very well made, you can buy your coffee beans there, the place is pretty nicely decked out and service is pretty good. The downfall, definitely more pricey then other cafes, a standard 2 shot latte expect to pay $7 with an alternative milk.

JJ L: Their burgers all look delicious, and they are actually really delicious. The burgers are juicy and layered with onions and lettuce. The fries are also very delicious. At that time, the takeaway store provided free paper boxes if you couldn't finish the food. The store staff I met were also very kind, making it a store I will visit again!

Tamara Hano: I have always experienced exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere every time I walk into the cafe. The staff consistently make me and all customers feel valued. The Belgian hot chocolate is consistently outstanding, and I always enjoy it. During my visit yesterday, I encountered an issue with my Apple Card on my phone, and the owner generously offered me a complimentary blueberry berry cheesecake made by his daughter. It was absolutely delicious and greatly appreciated. I want to express my gratitude to him for going above and beyond to make my experience special. I highly recommend the Barun cafe. Additionally, their blueberry muffins are truly the best of the best. 🙏🙏🤞🤞🙌🙌

However Bianca was an absolute champion, not only did she repack my order for me BUT she found the original item I wanted but was sold out at the time I ordered online.Thank you so much Bianca! Jasmine Clift: *THE* best cafe in Adelaide. The owner, chefs, baristas, and wait staff are lovely and genuine. The food is exceptional and the coffee is divine. The cafe itself is homely and warm, and it is the perfect size. I've probably visited 150 cafes in the past 2 years, and this is the best one. I believe this is due to the owner, Silas, and his lovely nature. He welcomes customers in, does his best to remember their names, jokes with them, and works hard to deliver quality in all aspects of the cafe. Bless!.*Photos taken during my many visits over the past year or so.*
