Erica Bouwman: Beautiful place on the river. Beautiful views both on the terrace and inside. Nice alternative atmosphere.Vegetarian options: Many possibilities!

Emily Baldwin: The best scrambled eggs you will eat in Port/Semaphore area. After trying numerous cafes in the vicinity…nothing compares to Folklore’s scrambled eggs. They are always delivered steaming hot and cooked to perfection every single time. I don’t know how they do it, they are magicians of the humble eggs. The staff are always friendly, polite and if you come earlier in the mornings the service is super speedy. The coffee is also always on point. If you’re lucky you may spot a dolphin or two.If you’re a bit of a scrambled egg looking for some delicious scrambled eggs this is the place for you. Top tip: if you order haloumi you also get a slice of lemon which goes nicely with the eggs and thick slice of sourdough.

Rebekah Bell: If you’re scanning google for cafe’s to hit up - stop right now and go here. Seriously divine food, unbelievable coffee, lovingly prepared food, gorgeous sensory experience with vintage pottery kitchenware, vibes from the staff were so warm & chill, and the view of the water from the deck was heaps peaceful.I’ll literally track this cafe down and come back next time i’m passing through Adelaide. Amaaazing vibe.Vegetarian options: Garlic mushrooms were out of controllllSoo good! Halloumi was the best I’ve ever had. The texture was perfect!

Fiona Wallace: What a find! I am not an Adelaide local, but I own a French business, so when travelling to new cities I like to enjoy a French meal where possible. I had already eaten dinner unfortunately, so I just popped in for desert and a glass of wine. The manager gave me a warm welcome and seated me at the bar. I had the parfait, which was delicious and a lovely glass of red. I will definitely be back, it’s a lovely peaceful, professional environment, with the smoothness that only a well oiled team can bring seamlessly.Music and lighting were just right for a date night, I look forward to returning for the whole dining experience.

Liza Lam: The food here is delicious. Every dish we tried was flavourful and we enjoyed so much. The only thing that was not to our liking was the bread we ordered from the sides. The bread was too soft and it should be toasted to get the crunchy sides. Overall, it's a cosy restaurant and will definitely come back to try other dishes on their menu.

Nia Mh: Small cosy wine bar feel, delicious food with elegance. 10/10 dinner!Extremely welcoming and friendly staff from the beginning, very attentive. What I ordered:Pork and Thyme meatballs: I was skeptical about these as I am not a blue cheese fan, however they were just incredible! Melt in your mouth, extremely soft meatballs and creamy delicious cheese sauce. Highly recommend!Steak with peppercorn sauce: steak cooked to perfection, succulent, flavourful. The peppercorn sauce was to die for, quite a kick not like your usual creamy pepper sauce. Chips were hand cut and crispy 11/10.Greens: big bowl of green beans with roasted capers. Not what I expected however really flavourful and capers added a nice touch. Went well with meatballs.Cost: $80 for 3 dishesWould be a great date spot, but also would be suited to a larger group dinner.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options availableDietary restrictions: Gluten free options available

Lezane Esterhuysen: Besides the miserable weather outside, the vibe inside was really great. It didn't took long for the food to arrive but in saying that the food was delicious and made the experience so worth the while.I can recommend the "Cake Station" - this is already the reason why will be going back.Enjoyable experience!

Liisa Grace Baun: Have been here many times over the years and we are always happy with the quality of food and service. Staff are friendly. Lovely views whether sitting outside or inside. It’s a nice way to reward yourself with lunch or treat after a hike or ride up the hill. Plenty of parking available at a flat rate of $4.There’s often koalas 🐨 and kangaroos to be seen nearby.

Deliah Onorato: Great spot to enjoy a meal. Visited with friends. Unfortunately, it was raining when we were there, so the views were restricted.Parking: As it is part of the park, there are a lot of optionsWheelchair accessibility: Easy access to all amenities if mobility impaired

Sandra Moyo: Excellent place!Completely loved the gluten free waffles.Service was perfect, can't fault it.Great ambienceWill be back again!Dietary restrictions: They accommodate for every dietary requirements

Carole Crabbe: Great products and friendly efficient staff

Tony Sander: was offered exactly the same pair as me, so I'm not sure exactly how "expertly matched" our chocolates actually were. That being said, the chocolates themselves were superb.Probably a little too decadent to visit regularly, but great for the occasional treat or when one wants to impress a date who really enjoys their chocolate

Tiana: This place is my absolute FAVOURITE! Part of me doesn't want to give them a good review so that it doesn't get too busy because they are incredible!! The food is fantastic, the staff are just as amazing.Apple crumble waffles - MUST HAVE.The hot chocolate - perfection! Will I be returning? Absolutely!

Jami Bennet: Recommended dishes Cacao

Andrea Wijeweera: Heard so many good reviews that we decided we needed to try it although we were super stuffed already. This place did not disappoint. Some of the best hot chocolate I’ve had in awhile. It was rich and decadent, absolutely worth the wait. We tried the Aztec and Salted Caramel hot chocolate. Super yummy and hit the spot during winter. We also went for the chocolate pairing, which was fab. We ordered the Ben waffles as well. The waffles we crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Paired with the ice cream and chocolates, it is definitely a chocolate lover’s heaven 😍.

barry elsey: It has been over a year since we last visited The Haus. This time it was quieter and a chance to look around and take in the atmosphere while eating a typical wholesome food that is The Haus trademark. As ever the friendly service and reasonable prices matched the food and drinks. We have been visiting since The Haus first opened and it was good to return.Barry Elsey OAM.Parking: We were lucky at late afternoon

Tanishak Baijal: A great place to have some of the best pizzas in town. We had ordered the garlic bread pizza that had an amazing cheese pull with an equally terrific taste! The veg supremo pizza and the tandoori chicken pizza were a delight to have.If you are looking for some mocktails, do try their apple caramel mocktails! Some of the best mocktail I have had.Our experience was significantly enhanced thanks to Parth, who took excellent care of us throughout our visit!

Rosemary Sacco: Was a bit disappointed with the chicken parmigiana and salad the chicken was nice the coating was a bit hard I had hardly any sauce on my chicken and not much cheese the salad was a bit boring I would have liked tomato and cucumber and onion with it apart from that we all enjoyed our tea thank you the waiters were excellent very polite sweets were very nice thank you made for a good night out

A: An absolute fan favourite, the food and services from this store will be a treasured memory to keep. Devastating to hear of the shop’s soon-to-be closure, but will continue to make trips to their other stores for that weekend Bracegirdle’s ice chocolate treat! Should you be hesitant to try, this is your sign to visit them!

Zac Stevenson: Great service with a smile, courtesy and happy to help attitude. Thanks to the staff at the Glenelg shop!

Crystal Phillips: Sad that this place is closing

Churris K: Great place for a dessert

Kylie Misdale: Best white chocolate Mocca I've ever had

Dash August: They also have really good vegan/vegetarian options but I’d personally just recommend one of the croissant optionsThe raisin bread is amazing and they have two types of jam aswell as butter to go along with the two pieces which are portioned perfectlyIt’s a very short walk from the road

Kevin Marzahn: .Parking was an issue. One needs to either park in the very small carpark at the rear of the cafe or in the tennis club carpark. Then one must walk around to the front of the cafe along the narrow road.Parking for the disabled is directly in front of the door. It is a bit tight getting into the right spot to unload walkers and the somewhat immobile guests. One then needs to back out onto the road and park at the rear.

Jenny Bacchetti: Lovely cosy cafe and art gallery. Delicious food! I had a halloumi salad bowl and berry cheesecake. Both yummy!!!

Vilia “The nymph of the woods.”: , and some will find the walk to the front door slightly too steep. Limited parking on Cox Place. Parking aside, it is well worth the visit.

Simon Jones: What a find!

Rosie Mclaughlin: Dietary restrictions: Gluten free.

Matthew Williams: Love this coffee shop/cafe/restaurant. Always really friendly staff and good coffee. Lots of good art to look at and if your inclined buy, also lots of knick-knacks, cards and other interesting pieces to browse. I think the fact that this place always has a lots of customers and very frequently only a couple of free seats, often none by the fireplace speaks volumes. Will definitely be back.

Kerry J: Lovely gallery with a range of visual arts, jewellery and handicrafts from local artists. Wonderful coffee and a nice assortment of cakes and goodies. Staff is friendly and efficient. Perfect for a mid-morning or lazy afternoon stop and wander.

Cath: A hidden gem, for brunch, coffee & cake or a beverage & plater on any given day

Elise Phillis: amazing restaurant, beautiful ambience and attractive and professional staff. we had the beef bourguignon, french onion soup, and escargot. all amazing, the soup is loaded with croutons you don’t even need bread for the table. the escargot were immensely rich and chewy and covered in garlic butter, and the bourguignon was rich and tender. one thing, the place is quite cramped. i haven’t gone during the morning or lunch hours but i can imagine it can get quite loud. for dinner though it was perfect.

Wade Zammit Meaney: Go to Paris by visiting the Adelaide East End. Every time I step in, I feel like I've been transported, even if it's just for a coffee. Any time of day, you won’t be disappointed. Today, I had a long macchiato, but if you’re thinking of breakfast, go for the continental. You won’t regret it, and you’ll feel like a true Parisian!

Lizzi B: The milkshake didn't have ice-cream or cream on top, it was just a standard milkshake. For a dessert place called indulge I would assume it would be better than a standard cafe shake. The crepe was excellent!Fondue was good but the brownie was to soft to pickup with the fondue sticks and a scoop of icecream would have balanced it better.Coffee was excellent!Sunde was excellent!

Jade Johns: Food is always 10/10 and the staff make the experience that much better. We love that the staff recognise us and appreciate our business. Recently we had a birthday dinner and the staff were incredible, food amazing and the people we took with us cannot stop raving about the food. This was their first visit and they will definitely be back.

Clare Dorey: I met a new friend here last week and it was so delightful that I stayed in after she had to leave. The cake was scrumptious, the service friendly and the place beautiful. I loved the eclectic decor, the goodies for sale and the puzzles you could enjoy over a solo cuppa. The grounds and facade were idyllic - I felt like I was in Provence. I'll be back!!

Angus Mount-Martin: One of the best, most relaxing, well eateries I've experienced.Stocked with a wide variety of high quality foodstuffs its truly modest about what it is.A great secret of the Woodside area. The owners have done such a good job cultivating this experience that they deserve every bit patronage.Prices are reasonable if not low compared to other places of a similar type. The atmosphere, truly is like a secret garden as others have said. The staff? Accommodating.Vegetarian options: Flavourful, and plentiful.Fresh and diverse.Parking: The area just has lots of on-street parking. It's easy.

Brie Willoughby-Knox: We had a wonderful brunch in this gorgeous cafe! The service was great, the food was tasty and it definitely has a secret garden vibe. There's plenty of room for little ones to play while the adults enjoy their coffeesVegetarian options: There are some yummy veggie options!

Belinda Wellings: Service was attentive and our steak mains were delicious. The brussells sprouts as a side were divine! The restaurant was empty the night we were there so the vibe was unfortunately a bit lacking.BUT we could not fault the staff, including their wine matching recommendation, and so we decided it was a lovely intimate dinner in this beautifully presented space.

Adam S: Servicenwas great - very attentive waiter. The atmosphere is also great - the period and themed decor is really well done. The food - one of the best food experiences I've had. Went with the five course chef's choice with paired wines. All amazing. In particular, the lamb was sensational. Was juat passing through Adelaide, but now i have a reason to return - just for the lamb!

Mark Swan: We started with a drink in the upstairs bar. The maître d’ in charge of the bar was welcoming and friendly. Good selection of wines by the glass.Dinner in the cellar was a knock-out. We opted for the four-course tasting menu, and each course was excellent. Well thought-out flavour combinations and a careful pairing of accompanying wines. Service was on point - our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. The price for pre-dinner drinks, plus the tasting menu and wine flight, was much less than we would have anticipated. Excellent value for money.Highly recommended.

Gemma Frances Wellbeing: Beautifully appointed bar. Cosy and interesting decor.Staff were attentive and friendly.I had the tasting menu which had highlights like the kingfish terrine. The cute butter and crusty bread was also a highlight. All other dishes were ok but not ones I would return to in a hurry.

Matt Walker: The White Hot chocolate was 👌

Donald Jones: Nice chocolate, but a touch pricey.Love it though

Jared Carr: So this is one shop which is missed so much. Hand made chocolates as good of not better than the chocolate shops of Paris. While your there look for the raspberry and almond blocks they transcend flavour profiles you have ever had before.

Ita Coetzer: Delicious food and desserts. Friendly folk.

Emily Tang: If you are tired from walking around the German Village, you can come here to have a drink and rest. The chili-flavored chocolate tastes really special. It’s not bad but you won’t want to eat it a second time. XD

Tony Barracano: Great place for chocolate treat

Daniel Forsyth: Yum

J S: All chocolates are made on-site. Great flavours, and a nice atmosphere.

Nik Payne: Amazing chocolates to take away, but before you do, you need to stop and have something from the menu and a coffee. If you have a serious chocolate craving, go for the brownie. The croissant or waffles come a close second

Rita M Holmes: Always a pleasure visiting this place.

Casper Yeow: Oh man! Best ice chocolate ever. Hands down!

Bernadette Mc Namara: Had lunch here on Friday 6th....whilst waiting for my dining friend to arrive I enjoyed a cup of tea.......we HAD booked a table downstairs but there were 2 large tables of diners which made it difficult to hear, so I asked if we could move upstairs to avoid the noise....not a problem at ALL..within minutes our table setting was whisked away upstairs and reset in the "sunset room"....We both ordered the Special Local caught Whiting and OHHH! what a delectable dish!!I also ordered the Tuna sashimi, my mouth watering with every morsel,... .... but back to the Whiting....2 decent size Whiting fillets cooked perfectly!..we both chose battered fish and the light batter enhanced the fish to a T. We were treated so well by Anna, before during and after service.... my friend ordered the chocolate fondant dessert...barely a word spoken as she devoured an ooozing chocolatey delight served with a vanilla icecream... ..A beef Phò was also on offer as a special so I grabbed a takeaway for dinner tonight......cant wait to try it!!A friendly warm and welcoming atmosphere with excellent food today. A visit from the chef was a delight!! and a quick look around the room as we left, everyone was enjoying their meals, especially those who also chose the Whiting special. We CANNOT wait to come back..so welcoming...it was like being at a friends' house for lunch!PS the Phò was very tasty and plentiful....the broth was fragranr and very tasty...most enjoyable!

Julie Harris: Amazing location with spectacular sea views. The food was top notch, we stuck to the Asian dishes and they were deliciousVegetarian options: Plenty of options for vegetarians

Miriam Dubeňová: I recently visited Rocks Marino Restaurant with my family while we were exploring the area, and we had an absolutely wonderful time. The setting is spectacular, with amazing views that made the sunset truly breathtaking. 💛From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed into a friendly and warm atmosphere. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.❤️The restaurant offers a wide range of wines, perfect for pairing with their super tasty food. Every dish we tried was delicious and beautifully presented. 🤤🤤Overall, Rocks Restaurant exceeded our expectations in every way. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
