Despite the all-you-can-eat format, the quality of the food was outstanding. Every dish was prepared with great attention to detail and presented beautifully. From the fresh sashimi and sushi to the deliciously tender grilled meats, every bite was a delight.The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring our glasses were always full and our plates promptly cleared. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal with friends or family.

Huu Kim Le: I went with a colleague from the RAH. Pleasantly surprised. Had the lunch special teriyaki beef with extra egg yolk was divine. So filling with seaweed salad side dish and miso complimentary. Owner was delightful. Would come again. Colleague had sushi rolls which were double the size of the ones he normally gets in the hospital food court.

Lucy Salmond: Of all the great sushi trains in Adelaide this is not one of them. Tired decor, tired staff and very budget and uninspired food....and often not much of it going around. I have eaten here about four times in the last five years to just get a quick feed on the run and it somehow gets worse and worse. I always sense they are about to go out of business by the way the place presents. Ripped vinyl seats they don't bother replacing.

More than one of the best sushi trains around, the service is platinum and super fast with all the grace and trimmings. Meals are healthy and well priced. Drinks are very fairly priced also.If you are sick of pubs with overpriced chicken nuggets and a plateful of carbohydrate, hip swelling chips then try the healthy KOKORO SUSHI RESTAURANT in Castle Plaza mall.Good for your hips and belly, good for your pocket book! 😁😎👍

Peter Tregenza: Parking: You can usually find parking somewhere in the streets nearby. You might have to walk a few hundred metres. Otherwise, there is paid parking close by off Gouger Street above the Central Market.
Miss J: Came back after the reno, a whole lot smaller space. Sushi boat was still great. The duck meat soba was flavoursm and delicious too. Tories chicken was creamy. But looks very small. Unagi was tender and yummy. Agedashi tofu was crispy and sauce was mild yet delicious. Karaage chicken was not good at all, soggy. Sashimi don is not bad, sushi rice was flavoursm. Wagyu sukiyaki was very delicious and heart warming, it comes with noodles as well. But the soup will go very well with rice too. Friendly service.

Cherry H: Came here on a cold Winter night for some sukiyaki and was not disappointed! Haven’t been to Wasai since they re-did the shop so a lot was ordered for two. The tempura prawn came with tempura sweet potato, mushroom, fish cake and greens. The sauce went great with the battered foods. Spider roll and spicy salmon sushi roll were very nice but the aburi salmon roll was the best with its torched flavour and had the perfect amount of sauce! Sukiyaki was warm and comforting with lots of beef and cabbage. The chef special grilled sea perch also stood out and we’re so glad we ordered it! Get it if you still can, the fish was grilled so well and the flesh was sweet and firm. Overall fantastic experience, and would love to go again!

Vincent Kok: Haven't found a go-to since moving from Victoria for 18 months. Our type of Japanese comfort food. Definitely our go-to for ramen fix 😋.We had 4 different ramen. The broth was well balanced after we mixed and stirred the condiments together. The Mazesoba was a complete surprise for us, never thought a dry ramen version can be so tasty. Overall our ramen was cooked to perfection. The little setback was the egg which we expected to be a little runny and soaked with flavor but not. The serving portion was valued for the price paid.Chicken karaage is lightly coated and marinated well.Takoyaki was stuffed with succulent octopus. Although we think they come frozen but not taste frozen at all.Agedashi tofu was next level 👌 to our liking.

Venus Wong: Had to try the all you can eat. Drinks are not included. We went after 7pm on a PH.Portions were huge. So only order or pick the plates as you go. The sashimi cuts were pretty decent. Some of the flavour combos were hit and miss for me, like the sauce they put on raw scallop sashimi. But otherwise, great value and great taste.Join the membership to collect points and participate in raffles.They also have a gacha play when you spend above $60.

Monike San: Katsumoto Restaurant delivers a delightful dining experience. The katsu, while delicious, had one piece that was slightly over-fried. The ramen, however, was a highlight, boasting a rich and flavorful broth. Service at Katsumoto is exceptional, with staff displaying constant friendliness and efficiency. Though the absence of a water jar on the table is a minor inconvenience, the staff compensates by cheerfully refilling cups at the counter whenever needed. Their unwavering willingness to assist, always with a genuine smile, enhances the overall dining experience. Katsumoto combines great food with outstanding service, making it a place worth visiting.

Mark Mywords: is a fantastic spot for a quick lunchtime bite, or if you've got time on your hands, a great sit down meal. Dishes come quickly and food is generally good quality. The 'meal sets' are incredible value, which include, miso soup, pickles, potato salad, a bowl of rice and the main meal.Dishes such as Hiyaki Chu-ka - a cold summer noodle dish is something you don't find everywhere and is a favourite, even though the recipe has been changed and I believe is more Chinese than Japanese. Since the new owners took over some years ago, the menu has been slightly 'Chinafied' from the original Japanese owners, however, they have expanded the menu for the better and the choices are excellent, with genuine Japanese flavours shining through.Staff can be a little offhand and seemingly hurried for no reason, but this may be a cultural thing for efficient customer service.If you're in Rundle Mall, Katsumoto is worth a visit.
