We cannot thank the venue and their staff enough for our day. The meals were mouth-watering, the bar staff were so considerate and helpful and even our security guard was so respectful and patient with our guests.We also couldn't have made our wedding what it was without our co-ordinator Emma. If you're lucky enough to have her, your whole entire day will be perfect! Emma, we cannot thank you enough for taking all our phone calls and emails, answering all our odd requests and just making out day run so so smoothly! Thank you for making my son and daughter-in-law's wedding such a beautiful evening.As a coeliac I want to extend an extra note of appreciation. I never eat out anymore but my DIL after checking your venue assured me that you could safely cater for me, with your seperate kitchen, accreditation and experience. The food was absolutely delicious! Our waitress introduced herself and assured me that my meal would be safe and she reassured me a couple of times during the night. My menu was printed slightly different to highlight all allergens. Nothing was too much trouble. This is the only time that I have eaten other than in a 100% GF venue and not felt stressed. Thank you so very very much!

Peter Stokes: We had the wedding of our dreams with our ceremony at "The Landing" and reception at "The Coach House". Mariyah was an absolute gem. We had a couple of meetings in person to talk through the different options and then do all our selections. Every discussion was clear, and she'd follow up any questions with prompt email replies. She provided an excellent spreadsheet that helped cover everything from run sheets, floor plans, guest lists, seating plans, menu, suppliers and decor. This was so helpful to us when it came to doing our seating chart, organising times with our DJ/MC and photographers, and doing our bonbonnieres. Our 2 year old son has a food allergy of egg, milk and soy, and Mariyah went the extra step to personally work with the chefs at Sunnybrae to find a suitable alternative for our son's meal, and we a truly so grateful that she went above and beyond to the extent of custom ordering a different type of chicken nuggets that he was able to eat on the day.We can't thank Mariyah enough for making the whole process seamless and stress free, we are so grateful for having you as our wedding coordinator and will be forever thankful for your personal touches that made the day even more special.

Olivia Oates: I recently spent a night in the beautiful barn loft accomodation and could not recommend it highly enough! The space is perfect and has everything you could want in an Airbnb, the location absolutely took my breath away, from the entrance driveway to the vast gardens, vineyards, views and even cows! The bed was one of the best I have ever slept in and omg that bathtub!! I can only imagine how perfect it is here for weddings, I hope to come back as a wedding guest one day so I can see it all decked out! Highly highly recommend if you are looking for a unique stay in Adelaide, you won’t be disappointed! Brie & Billy have put so much love and care into the space and the experience and it truly shows. Thanks for a wonderful stay guys I will be back!!

David Eccles: Pros: Nice looking and well placed venue. Food was good and staff were friendly for our seminar. After being asked they remembered to put out soy milk reliably. Water at the tables was refilled in between every break at the seminar.Cons: I found the lights were too 'warm' for a conference, which was occasionally hard on the eyes, but may be better for a wedding. The projector was a touch subpar and definitely lost critical detail on a few slides with diagrams. The food was generally reasonable but they missed my vegan dietary preference and had no options on one of the later days.EDIT on 6/6/24 - no worries, I understand there are multiple sides chains in a link. I response to the explanatory n prompt response from the owner I have popped the rating up from 3 to 4 stars. have a good day.

The work and love that has gone into the homestead and surrounding gardens and accommodation is outstanding.Highly recommend. If you want to relax In beautiful surroundings this is definitely the place to go. Oh how I wish I knew about AL RU before I got married it would have been my dream wedding destination.
Audrey Gilrain: I booked here for something a little different for our 4 days in Adelaide over Christmas. We loved it. We arrived on Christmas day and the owner went out of her way to being us a "care package" with turkey and roast vegetables so that wed have something to eat on Christmas night. It was so appreciated. The room was really unusual and so spacious. The bed and bedding was super comfortable and the breakfast is completely worthwhile. Fabulous bacon, free range eggs and tomato - it was great to be able to get up and make our brekkie in our room when we were ready and to just chill out. The gardens are just fabulous - you can see the time, love and care that the owners have put into them over many years to create the wonderful ambience and environment. I loved the pool - which was heated and lovely to swim in. The whole stay was very relaxing and I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

Kathy Nygaard: For Mother's Day, my two beautiful daughters & families bought me a High Tea voucher. Their families also bought them one each, so we booked in today for 12noon. My first time visiting. What an amazing, beautiful place to have a High Tea, lunch, dinner or just a get together. Wonderful, well dressed, happy staff. We were taken to a warm pleasant room with an open window area. All rooms have a wood fire, so on this cold day, it was very cosy.Our food was presented beautifully & tasted amazing. The only criticism we had, was the thick coffee cups on a saucer was what we were going to drink our lovely tea from !! What happened to a china cup for tea ? Pots were also made of heavy pottery. For the price, it is good value but big points lost for this type of service. Must change for this high quality restaurant.

S G: Simply Magical!We are just back from a magnificent long weekend at Mount Lofty House. Mt Lofty House is a luxury hotel with many welcoming spaces to enjoy. Our rooms were beautiful and included everything you would expect in a luxury hotel. But what made our stay stand out is the 5 star service from the Mt Lofty House team. The staff made us genuinely feel welcome and that they were keen to deliver the long weekend stay we wanted. Our stay started with Shaun from Reservations putting together a package of activities and bookings tailored exactly to what we wanted to do. And then these happened effortlessly over the weekend. Thanks Shaun, it was a delight to work with you to put together our weekend. We loved the hotel history tour run by Chris, make sure you take it when staying. Chris made us feel very welcome anytime we saw him over the weekend. Thanks Chris, we are big fans of the champagne cocktails! Our weekend included some time at the fabulous Gatekeepers Day Spa. Thanks to Claire for an outstanding massage, it was the perfect way to end a day after walking in the Mt Lofty Summit national park nearby. We also want to say a big thank you to the staff in the Piccadilly Panorama breakfast restaurant who are delightful and made sure we enjoyed the delicious breakfast each day and the staff in the Hardy's Bar and Lounge for their warm service and tasty dinner. Staying at Mt Lofty House is a must-do luxury experience with all that the Adelaide Hills has to offer on your door step.

The ability for the family to stay there over the weekend was amazing & convenient , the reception hall is stunning and the absolutely gorgeous area where the kids got married down by the Damn is simply glorious. White Hill estate couldn’t do enough for my family’s, I’d like to give a huge shout out to Ben and his team . The way White Hill keep the venue is absolutely immaculate. The gardens are spectacular and I just can’t praise them enough. I would highly recommend anybody who is looking for a beautiful wedding venue in McLaren Vale to definitely check out White Hill Estate for there perfect day .

Tim Austin: We went there for a 3 course meal and dancing last night.We had a great time.There was plenty of food, we didn't go away hungry.There was a good selection of drinks from the bar.The complex was set out well and was very eye catching.It would be an excellent venue to have a conference, wedding or just a place to have a large gathering.There is a lot of parking available.The staff were friendly and helpful.I truly recommend trying this place, you won't be disappointed.

David Sabine: As President of the Adelaide Music Club, l cannot find a better venue for our 200 plus members to enjoy our monthly music shows over dinner. We have been there for many years. Monday 4th December was our Christmas dinner with a beautiful venue, exquisite cuisine, great decorations and Fahrenheit 451 playing up a storm, causing 216 members to fill the dance floor and then dance wherever they found an empty space. A superb atmosphere in the best venue in town. Mimi and Donato - hope we can come back in 2024. Buon Natale to you both and your family.

Their staff made us feel very special on the night and the service was exceptional. With the new upgrades to the venue, it looks and feels absolutely amazing. Fair pricing, amazing food, it far exceeded our expectations and we definitely recommend The Grand Ballroom for any event.

Donato and Mim are excellent to deal with and very accommodating, as were all their staff on the night itself. Things that our guests really loved about The Grand Ballroom were the friendly staff, pretty fairy lights, the large dance-floor, the separate bar/lounge area plus easy parking. The Grand Ballroom represents fantastic value for money and we are so happy that we booked there. Thank you again Donato, Mim and team.

Going above and beyond to answer questions and provide photos was greatly appreciated. The venue is stunning and made for the perfect ceremony and reception space. The food provided by Adam at InStyle Catering was also delicious and there was plenty of it - I'm still dreaming about the pumpkin arancini. I would highly recommend Partridge House to any future Brides and Grooms out there.

I have a number of dietary restrictions and was pleasantly surprised when I received a call from Matt an hour before the function. He identified himself as the chef from the Krystal Function Centre and was checking on how best to accommodate me and ensure that he was able to meet my dietary requirements. I organised a table of 10 and all my guests made favourable remarks about the delicious food, all served hot and in a timely manner. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The decor and ambiance was second to none.The only negative was the music as it was too loud to have a conversation but the DJ was an outside operator that the Function Centre had no control over. Perhaps dinner music would have been better and to save the loud music for dancing to at the end?All in all we were very impressed with this venue and I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who wants to hold a large function. Your guests will be very impressed.

Nat has made the entire process so smooth and the opposite of stressful. She’s always available via email or phone for any questions, and is always full of ideas and ready to reassure you. She genuinely wants you to have the BEST time. We are so excited to try Dave’s food, as we are massive foodies and so are our guests! We booked this venue because we didn’t want a tradition wedding with fancy ceviche and two more courses the groom wouldn’t eat. We wanted real yummy tucker and we cannot wait.Another thing I love about booking with Nat and Dave is you don’t just get a venue, there are options for literally everything to be organised for you! Food, styling, flowers…they have it all! We can’t wait for our special day!

The little colouring pack for the child was an amazing addition and the servers were so attentive but not in your face. I don’t eat lamb nor chicken but I do now after tasting the lamb skewers and chicken tenders. The flavours are amazing. A great selection of wines, gin, etc. The only area of improvement if I was to be picky, was the staff could be a little more attentive, maybe just a little more training needed, but nothing major, they were very friendly and accommodating overall. Everything was very enjoyable. Will definitely be back.Vegetarian options: A variety of vegetarian options, very nice.Dietary restrictions: Cater for gluten free, dairy free, vegan and vegetarian. Really great options. The gluten free bread starter is really nice too.Parking: Plenty of parking.
