Sunnybrae Estate Function Centre: what do users think?

R3b3cca9704 Gaming: Had work Mid Year Lunch here! Was absolutely beautiful. Would be a great wedding venue

Kosta Apostolou: Sunnybrae Estate is the best venue in Adelaide to host you're next function. Recently hosting our wedding, the team at Sunnybrae were nothing but exceptional in not only meeting our expectations but exceeding them.Would not hesitate to host our next event there, thank you to Jimmy, Simmone and the team for the perfect night and experience.

Marissa Kurbatfinski: Sunnybrae is an absolutely stunning venue! My husband and I got married there this past April and couldn't believe how beautiful, smoothly and picturesque the day was. We cannot thank the venue and their staff enough for our day. The meals were mouth-watering, the bar staff were so considerate and helpful and even our security guard was so respectful and patient with our guests. We also couldn't have made our wedding what it was without our co-ordinator Emma. If you're lucky enough to have her, your whole entire day will be perfect! Emma, we cannot thank you enough for taking all our phone calls and emails, answering all our odd requests and just making out day run so so smoothly! You and your team went well above and beyond for us and our guests and we are still so grateful and honoured to have had you all help us on our special day100/100 recommend Sunnybrae and their fantastic team!

Marita Ellis: The location, the room, the service and the good was stunning! Absolutely beautiful. Thank you for making my son and daughter-in-law's wedding such a beautiful evening. As a coeliac I want to extend an extra note of appreciation. I never eat out anymore but my DIL after checking your venue assured me that you could safely cater for me, with your seperate kitchen, accreditation and experience. The food was absolutely delicious! Our waitress introduced herself and assured me that my meal would be safe and she reassured me a couple of times during the night. My menu was printed slightly different to highlight all allergens. Nothing was too much trouble. This is the only time that I have eaten other than in a 100% GF venue and not felt stressed. Thank you so very very much!

Blagojce Jovcevski: Beyond perfect!!! Simmone and her team made our day incredibly special!!!

Liam McDonald: We had our wedding ceremony in the palm garden and reception in the pavilion.Emma and the team at Sunnybrea did a flawless job, as soon as we first meet with the team at Sunnybrea we knew it was for us.The food was delicious and the Venus was spectacular, we received so many compliments from all our guests. We can’t thank Emma enough for all that she did for us, making the wedding so much easier.Would definitely recommend to anyone!!

Peter Stokes: We had the wedding of our dreams with our ceremony at "The Landing" and reception at "The Coach House". Mariyah was an absolute gem. We had a couple of meetings in person to talk through the different options and then do all our selections. Every discussion was clear, and she'd follow up any questions with prompt email replies. She provided an excellent spreadsheet that helped cover everything from run sheets, floor plans, guest lists, seating plans, menu, suppliers and decor. This was so helpful to us when it came to doing our seating chart, organising times with our DJ/MC and photographers, and doing our bonbonnieres. Our 2 year old son has a food allergy of egg, milk and soy, and Mariyah went the extra step to personally work with the chefs at Sunnybrae to find a suitable alternative for our son's meal, and we a truly so grateful that she went above and beyond to the extent of custom ordering a different type of chicken nuggets that he was able to eat on the day.We can't thank Mariyah enough for making the whole process seamless and stress free, we are so grateful for having you as our wedding coordinator and will be forever thankful for your personal touches that made the day even more special.

Dawn Carne: My daughter got married here. What a beautiful place! 😍 The food was awesome, and we were not disappointed at all. 👍 I fully recommend this place for weddings or functions. #wedding #function #beautiful #awesome #recommend

Hosam Bony: Had our wedding here recently, both Maria’s and the team we absolute champions. Love your work and will definitely promote your business!

james fox: Professional staff

Skye Greig: Limited parking. Staff is particularly attentive. Food came out in a timely manner. Very pretty interior

Michael Sechos: I had my close friends wedding yesterday. As soon as the festivities begun I managed to rip my pants completely. The staff were so kind and managed to help me find a spare pair of pants that I could wear immediately so I could continue to enjoy the night. Thank you Sophia and staff for your help, you guys saved my night. I owe you!

Connie Amuso: Amazing venue and food A1

Steph *Star: 4.2.2023 - Thank you so much to Sophia and the team for helping us throw our amazing wedding reception. The venue is beautiful and spacious. The food was incredible. Lots of drink choices. The bar is large and the bridal suite is perfect. Sophia takes care of every guest and was able to help us throw together final decorative touches the day before. Very happy with Krystal Function Centre. Highly recommend.

Arshdeep Maan: I have no words to describe that how much efforts Sophia and her team from Krystal Function Centre did for us. She was amazing in every aspect and made our function great and it was just another level. I am really thankful to Sophia and her team for doing so many efforts to make our wedding reception so memorable. Again we would highly received them if you want to make your event a memorable one.

Raghav Raj: A beautiful venue with ample seating capacity. Sophia and her team were simply fantastic! She was available all through the lead up to our event and made the whole thing relatively stress free. The team were also flexible and easily adapted to unforeseen and changing circumstances on the night.Definitely recommended!

sandy bayley: I attended a black tie dinner for my church last week along with around 240 others. I have a number of dietary restrictions and was pleasantly surprised when I received a call from Matt an hour before the function. He identified himself as the chef from the Krystal Function Centre and was checking on how best to accommodate me and ensure that he was able to meet my dietary requirements. I organised a table of 10 and all my guests made favourable remarks about the delicious food, all served hot and in a timely manner. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The decor and ambiance was second to none. The only negative was the music as it was too loud to have a conversation but the DJ was an outside operator that the Function Centre had no control over. Perhaps dinner music would have been better and to save the loud music for dancing to at the end?All in all we were very impressed with this venue and I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who wants to hold a large function. Your guests will be very impressed.

Carlo Falanga: Wonderful venue for special or casual functions, the catering staff were very professional and helpful. I recommend if you're planning a function and don't have a venue, this place you have to contact.

Shenyll Datario: , the food, oh my god was phenomenal. They were able to easily cater all dietary requirements and everyone was fed very well - we all left with a happy tummy. I don't even have our photos yet from our wedding day but our guests had captured incredible pictures of the night and they look perfect in every angle - not a single bad spot in the venue thanks to their awesome lighting! All of our vendors overall were fantastic in creating our dream wedding, but The Krystal Function Centre and their beautiful team really made our dream wedding reception come to true life. I cannot recommend you guys enough! A massive thank you to you all - I could really go on and on about how happy we were of our magical night but this will end up being a whole novel 😆 Lots of love, Shenyll and Kent

Blerta Kolaj: Had my daughters communion there every thing was perfect very good food friendly and organised stuff 😍

Jill Fowler: An Adelaide Music Club evening. Lovely food, reasonable price. Can join as a member, which then reduces the price of meal. Pay separately for drinks, full bar, and desert. The music of the night was 3 players singing covers of Simon and Garfunkel.

Tim Austin: We went there for a 3 course meal and dancing last night. We had a great time. There was plenty of food, we didn't go away hungry. There was a good selection of drinks from the bar.The complex was set out well and was very eye catching. It would be an excellent venue to have a conference, wedding or just a place to have a large gathering. There is a lot of parking available. The staff were friendly and helpful.I truly recommend trying this place, you won't be disappointed.

Ken Cooke: Great food, friendly staff. I've played a few functions with Pulse band there, they look after us 👍

David Sabine: As President of the Adelaide Music Club, l cannot find a better venue for our 200 plus members to enjoy our monthly music shows over dinner. We have been there for many years. Monday 4th December was our Christmas dinner with a beautiful venue, exquisite cuisine, great decorations and Fahrenheit 451 playing up a storm, causing 216 members to fill the dance floor and then dance wherever they found an empty space. A superb atmosphere in the best venue in town. Mimi and Donato - hope we can come back in 2024. Buon Natale to you both and your family.

Andy Chaplin: Fabulous venue and Fahrenheit 451 certainly delivered some top shelf music!

Cynthia Ghiloni: Amazing service food and atmosphere 👌

Adam De Pierro: We had our wedding there recently and Donato and Mimi were a pleasure to work with leading up to it. Their staff made us feel very special on the night and the service was exceptional. With the new upgrades to the venue, it looks and feels absolutely amazing. Fair pricing, amazing food, it far exceeded our expectations and we definitely recommend The Grand Ballroom for any event.

Vesna Maletic: ballroom and raved about the food which was delicious, fresh and plentiful. Donato and Mim are excellent to deal with and very accommodating, as were all their staff on the night itself. Things that our guests really loved about The Grand Ballroom were the friendly staff, pretty fairy lights, the large dance-floor, the separate bar/lounge area plus easy parking. The Grand Ballroom represents fantastic value for money and we are so happy that we booked there. Thank you again Donato, Mim and team.

Joe Virgara: Absolutely the best night, absolutely exquisite 5 star restaurant quality food, 230 fussy Italians...no complaints. A credit to you all 💝

DREAM STUDIO: The Grand Ballroom .. This is the Venue you want, they are truly amazing, we film there almost every week. The owners and team truly care about there couples, and it shows in there food & exemplary service. Having known them for almost 20 years now, we can guarantee all couples a perfect experience.

Renee Konivets: We cannot recommend The Grand Ballroom enough. We got married when Covid peaked in Adelaide, which made it a very stressful time finding out the week of our wedding that guests were unable to attend. Don and Mimi were so helpful, easy to deal with and compromised so much with us. They instantly put our worries at ease. The food was FANTASTIC and the room look STUNNING. Their value for money and service is like no other. Cannot thank you guys enough for making it easy and seamless for us. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Kathy Nygaard: For Mother's Day, my two beautiful daughters & families bought me a High Tea voucher. Their families also bought them one each, so we booked in today for 12noon. My first time visiting. What an amazing, beautiful place to have a High Tea, lunch, dinner or just a get together. Wonderful, well dressed, happy staff. We were taken to a warm pleasant room with an open window area. All rooms have a wood fire, so on this cold day, it was very cosy. Our food was presented beautifully & tasted amazing. The only criticism we had, was the thick coffee cups on a saucer was what we were going to drink our lovely tea from !! What happened to a china cup for tea ? Pots were also made of heavy pottery. For the price, it is good value but big points lost for this type of service. Must change for this high quality restaurant.

Michael Staska: Thank you so much for making mums last lunch a beautiful experience for her. Simone and the team made her experience just beautiful - pretty in pink forever. xxx Leanne and Mike Staska

andrea melville: Just spent the long weekend at Mt Lofty House . It was a special occasion.. a 60 th birthday celebration with a private dinner for 18 people . Everything was spectacular
the location .. the service .. the whole experience was above and beyond !! I really can’t speak highly enough of the high calibre of the staff .I would award 10 stars if it was possible!!!

S G: Simply Magical! We are just back from a magnificent long weekend at Mount Lofty House. Mt Lofty House is a luxury hotel with many welcoming spaces to enjoy. Our rooms were beautiful and included everything you would expect in a luxury hotel. But what made our stay stand out is the 5 star service from the Mt Lofty House team. The staff made us genuinely feel welcome and that they were keen to deliver the long weekend stay we wanted. Our stay started with Shaun from Reservations putting together a package of activities and bookings tailored exactly to what we wanted to do. And then these happened effortlessly over the weekend. Thanks Shaun, it was a delight to work with you to put together our weekend. We loved the hotel history tour run by Chris, make sure you take it when staying. Chris made us feel very welcome anytime we saw him over the weekend. Thanks Chris, we are big fans of the champagne cocktails! Our weekend included some time at the fabulous Gatekeepers Day Spa. Thanks to Claire for an outstanding massage, it was the perfect way to end a day after walking in the Mt Lofty Summit national park nearby. We also want to say a big thank you to the staff in the Piccadilly Panorama breakfast restaurant who are delightful and made sure we enjoyed the delicious breakfast each day and the staff in the Hardy's Bar and Lounge for their warm service and tasty dinner. Staying at Mt Lofty House is a must-do luxury experience with all that the Adelaide Hills has to offer on your door step.

The stunning gardens and the historic charm of the castle-like architecture created a backdrop that was both romantic and awe-inspiring. Every corner of The Manor is picture-perfect, offering endless opportunities for beautiful photos and creating an atmosphere that felt like we had stepped into a fairytale. The food? Christina Czyzewski: Celebrated my sons wedding . Beautiful venue with magnificent garden where ceremony was officiated. The reception was held in one of the function rooms and was set up as requested. The food was delicious as was the selection of wines. The bridal party, parents and few of the immediate family spent the night in The Manor suites. My roomwas #12 and on one level and in the tower whereas the other 11 rooms were on 2 levels. Each room has a kitchenette, stocked with tea, nescafe pod coffee maker and coffee pods, as well as breakfast provisions, juice and milk in fridge.I would recommend The Manor to anyone wanting a special weekend away or as a wedding venue.

Deborah Frew: We had an amazing lunch, the mullaway fish and coconut Dahl was one of the best dishes I’ve tasted and I’m hard to please when it comes to taste, presentation and price. This was definitely worth it. The crispy potatoes which we added as a side are a dish on its own and knowing now how good they are I’d just order them with a pint đŸș. The little colouring pack for the child was an amazing addition and the servers were so attentive but not in your face. I don’t eat lamb nor chicken but I do now after tasting the lamb skewers and chicken tenders. The flavours are amazing. Well done chef 🧑‍🍳 great atmosphere all staff lovely and it’s definitely our go to. The views are pretty good too. đŸ‘đŸ»

Jan Menzies: Most enjoyable, the view is most relaxing. The service was excellent and the meal was most enjoyable. I would recommend on a cool day the fire gives a nice ambiance.

Elsie Sutton: Had a lovely meal, beautiful atmosphere and lovely service, good recommendations regarding the food and wine. We had the lamb with beetroot risotto and goat’s curd, broccolini and crispy roasted potatoes. A great selection of wines, gin, etc. The only area of improvement if I was to be picky, was the staff could be a little more attentive, maybe just a little more training needed, but nothing major, they were very friendly and accommodating overall. Everything was very enjoyable. Will definitely be back.Vegetarian options: A variety of vegetarian options, very nice.Dietary restrictions: Cater for gluten free, dairy free, vegan and vegetarian. Matthew Yong-O'Gorman: It's a bit dated now, but still a very beautiful hotel.

Stephie Borgford: I recently stayed at Hilton Adelaide and had an excellent experience. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The room was comfortable, and the bed was especially cozy, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The view from my room was amazing, adding to the overall experience. The hotel’s central location is a major plus, with Chinatown just a few steps away and plenty of food options nearby. It’s truly an amazing property, perfectly situated for exploring the city. I highly recommend Hilton Adelaide for anyone looking for a comfortable, centrally-located stay with excellent service!

Lee Waters: Really great central location. Right next to tram station and literally round the corner from the excellent central market. Other than that a standard corporate hotel.Decent, consistent offer. Nothing to criticise, but not much to write home about either.Walkability: Right in heart of CBD, all main servjces and attractions accessible by foot

Jonathan Hu: .

Aldo Mario: Very strategic place in very middle of CBD Adelaide that close to everywhere and every bis stop to anywhere, Rooms is very nice as we get 13th floor that can see beautiful scenery of Adelaide city and service is marvellous from check in process, breakfast, using the facility such as Gym, Tennis court and swimming pool!Totally recommended and we're looking forward to be back!

Richard Cunningham: The Hilton is well located by the free tram that will take you to the city mall, stadium, art gallery, wine museum, and market etc. Perfect. The whole friendly staffing team did their job and each in their own way contributed to a great stay. The rooms, the food, and service was top draw. I will definitely stay there next time in town and recommend it.Rooms: Well set up and clean.Nearby activities: Located to provide access to most Adelaide must do's.Safety: Never felt unsafe. A great city.Walkability: Could walk to most things.....the central market is super close and then there is the free tram.Food & drinks: The hotel provides great food and a great range of wines which is what I enjoy.Noteworthy details: The staffing team.

Roaming Bush Barbie: I wasn't particularly impressed with this hotel. The rooms are a shocker!!! Really outdated and unclean, certainly not a 5 star accommodation if the rooms are anything to go by. There are way too many staff at the reception but only one serving at a time so the lines go check in are long. Despite the staff being nice I found the $100 a night for bond off putting and I was super annoyed when I saw the type of room I got for that amount and bond. The location was great and the buffet breakfast was really delicious however I wouldn't be staying here again not for that rate or bond.

Ngoc Nguyen: Good hotel 🏹

subas subedi: Located in the heart of Adelaide with a spectacular view of the town. Very comfortable and a magnificent place for a family to spend couple of nights during your travel. Don’t forget to enjoy the Breakfast, it’s very effective especially when you’re on your way back home.Rooms: Spacious room with a nice view.Walkability: You can walk around the block and enjoy your evening. Walk all the way to Rundle Mall and few historic places nearby .Food & drinks: China Town is next door , you may enjoy the food.

Peter Tunbridge: Sons wedding was held here, the setting was superb, the food was delicious, the staff were wonderful

Janet: I attended my much loved Aunties funeral at Partridge House. The venue was just big enough. This was no fault of the venue but indicated how popular Auntie was.Restrooms: Clean and plentiful.

Jessica Hazelman: Planning a wedding from Interstate and not physically seeing the building until two days before our wedding was scary but i could not have done it without the support of Sally and Emma. Going above and beyond to answer questions and provide photos was greatly appreciated. The venue is stunning and made for the perfect ceremony and reception space. The food provided by Adam at InStyle Catering was also delicious and there was plenty of it - I'm still dreaming about the pumpkin arancini. I would highly recommend Partridge House to any future Brides and Grooms out there.

Auchendarroch House and Tavern: what do users think?

Janine Bentley: Food and service fabulous, great choice on menu. Wonderful dining inside and out. Can't fault any of it.Dietary restrictions: Lots of Gluten free options for myselfParking: very accessibleWheelchair accessibility: Very easy to enter from main car park

Skye Wild: We visited Oak and Iron the other night for the first time.I was aware the menu seemed a little bit on the pricey side, but I figured the quality would be fairly high considering the price.I got a beef parmi with chips for $33My husband got Gnocchi off of the specials board. I dont know how much that cost.I found the parmi to be pretty average considering the price. Unfortunately, it was thin, pretty tough, on the smaller side and reminded me of a schnitzel id buy at foodland, the chips were dark and over cooked I think the oil in the fryers were in need of a change. My husband enjoyed his gnocchi. We shared the cone of sweet potato fries at the start which were delicious.I ordered the creme brulee for dessert and my husband had the blueberry cheesecake out of the cake cabinet.I loved the creme brulee, it was delicious.Hubby loved the cheesecake.I was tempted to say something to a waiter about the schnitzel, but we were on a schedule with a baby sitter and didn't have time to wait for another meal unfortunately.I hope you will consider upgrading the quality of the schnitzels if you're going to charge so much. If a 250g steak is the same price as a parmi I was thinking it was going to be a good parmi.I can get better quality for way less else where sadly. The atmosphere was lovely. It had a nice cozy vibe. Not sure if we will be back at this stage. But it was nice to have a night out.

Deborah Cannon: I had the Angus beef schnitzel today with salad and chips and it was delicious 😋. The staff are always friendly and efficient.Parking: Plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: Plenty of disability parking spots and close access for wheelchairs

helen weight: Better than the pubs in this area. Give it a try. However the dessert cakes are a bit boring. They look pretty but dont have much flavour.Recommended dishes Salt and Pepper Asian Salad

Anthony Zelek: We were dining last night, when our daughter had a febrile seizure which was very scary but all the staff at the Oak and Iron were very supportive and helpful while we waited for the ambulance, we’re very grateful for everything they did. Our daughter is okay but just wanted to extend a massive thank you, you also refunded our meals as we didn’t get a chance to eat which we didn’t ask for nor expect. Extremely kind, thank you so much. Please pass this on, particularly to the manager who worked last night. We will be back!
