Shae Desmet: We booked Ten22 for our May 2024 wedding way back in August of 2021. Our wedding is four weeks away and we could wait to write our review. Nat has made the entire process so smooth and the opposite of stressful. She’s always available via email or phone for any questions, and is always full of ideas and ready to reassure you. She genuinely wants you to have the BEST time. We are so excited to try Dave’s food, as we are massive foodies and so are our guests! We booked this venue because we didn’t want a tradition wedding with fancy ceviche and two more courses the groom wouldn’t eat. We wanted real yummy tucker and we cannot wait.Another thing I love about booking with Nat and Dave is you don’t just get a venue, there are options for literally everything to be organised for you! Food, styling, flowers…they have it all! We can’t wait for our special day!
Georgia W: as it gave our guests the opportunity to move around or stay seated if they wished. The staff were also very friendly and professional on the night and Nat and Dave have just been so amazing and caring from the beginning. Daniel Hutchings: Nat and Dave were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were professional and flexible, accommodating a last-minute change of venue for our ceremony due to the weather. They created terrific gluten-free food and the drinks package was perfect. The space was beautifully decorated, and their attention to detail made our day extra special.

They truly go above and beyond in making sure you have the most special day and that all of your guests are truly looked after. The food was amazing! And lots of it! The decorations were beautiful. You can really tell the care and thought they put into each event.We had our engagement/surprise wedding party here, and it was all so seamless. Hiring and decorations were done in-house by Ten22 Creative - they had so many things to choose from that worked so perfectly in the venue. The fairy lights & floral with neon sign was perfection in the photos.The food was incredible - we had a grazing table + pizza, and there was plenty to go around. The two things people have commented on since that night was how beautiful the venue was, and how good the food was. No one went hungry!Again, thank you so much Nat & Dave for helping us have the best night and making everything so easy; you're amazing!

David Eccles: Pros: Nice looking and well placed venue. Food was good and staff were friendly for our seminar. After being asked they remembered to put out soy milk reliably. Water at the tables was refilled in between every break at the seminar.Cons: I found the lights were too 'warm' for a conference, which was occasionally hard on the eyes, but may be better for a wedding. The projector was a touch subpar and definitely lost critical detail on a few slides with diagrams. The food was generally reasonable but they missed my vegan dietary preference and had no options on one of the later days.EDIT on 6/6/24 - no worries, I understand there are multiple sides chains in a link. I response to the explanatory n prompt response from the owner I have popped the rating up from 3 to 4 stars. have a good day.

She was available all through the lead up to our event and made the whole thing relatively stress free. The team were also flexible and easily adapted to unforeseen and changing circumstances on the night.Definitely recommended!
sandy bayley: I attended a black tie dinner for my church last week along with around 240 others. I have a number of dietary restrictions and was pleasantly surprised when I received a call from Matt an hour before the function. He identified himself as the chef from the Krystal Function Centre and was checking on how best to accommodate me and ensure that he was able to meet my dietary requirements. I organised a table of 10 and all my guests made favourable remarks about the delicious food, all served hot and in a timely manner. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The decor and ambiance was second to none.The only negative was the music as it was too loud to have a conversation but the DJ was an outside operator that the Function Centre had no control over. Perhaps dinner music would have been better and to save the loud music for dancing to at the end?All in all we were very impressed with this venue and I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who wants to hold a large function. Your guests will be very impressed.

Shenyll Datario: , the food, oh my god was phenomenal. They were able to easily cater all dietary requirements and everyone was fed very well - we all left with a happy tummy. I don't even have our photos yet from our wedding day but our guests had captured incredible pictures of the night and they look perfect in every angle - not a single bad spot in the venue thanks to their awesome lighting! All of our vendors overall were fantastic in creating our dream wedding, but The Krystal Function Centre and their beautiful team really made our dream wedding reception come to true life. I cannot recommend you guys enough! Fiona Baker: This is a very convenient and useful event location, with a good main auditorium and smaller breakout rooms.First day was cold though, because it’s such a large area to heat. Much better the next 2 days, so plan ahead with temperature control.

Jill Fowler: An Adelaide Music Club evening. Lovely food, reasonable price. Can join as a member, which then reduces the price of meal. Pay separately for drinks, full bar, and desert. The music of the night was 3 players singing covers of Simon and Garfunkel.
Tim Austin: We went there for a 3 course meal and dancing last night.We had a great time.There was plenty of food, we didn't go away hungry.There was a good selection of drinks from the bar.The complex was set out well and was very eye catching.It would be an excellent venue to have a conference, wedding or just a place to have a large gathering.There is a lot of parking available.The staff were friendly and helpful.I truly recommend trying this place, you won't be disappointed.

David Sabine: As President of the Adelaide Music Club, l cannot find a better venue for our 200 plus members to enjoy our monthly music shows over dinner. We have been there for many years. Monday 4th December was our Christmas dinner with a beautiful venue, exquisite cuisine, great decorations and Fahrenheit 451 playing up a storm, causing 216 members to fill the dance floor and then dance wherever they found an empty space. A superb atmosphere in the best venue in town. Mimi and Donato - hope we can come back in 2024. Buon Natale to you both and your family.

Their staff made us feel very special on the night and the service was exceptional. With the new upgrades to the venue, it looks and feels absolutely amazing. Fair pricing, amazing food, it far exceeded our expectations and we definitely recommend The Grand Ballroom for any event.

Donato and Mim are excellent to deal with and very accommodating, as were all their staff on the night itself. Things that our guests really loved about The Grand Ballroom were the friendly staff, pretty fairy lights, the large dance-floor, the separate bar/lounge area plus easy parking. We got married when Covid peaked in Adelaide, which made it a very stressful time finding out the week of our wedding that guests were unable to attend. Don and Mimi were so helpful, easy to deal with and compromised so much with us. They instantly put our worries at ease. The food was FANTASTIC and the room look STUNNING. Khala Pfeffer: Larry is amazing!I was probably his most stressed out bride to deal with! He had so much patience for me. Very very accommodating. He would have bent over backwards if I had asked. I do not have one negative thing to say about my wedding ceremony and reception held at this venue. The package He gave us was absolutely amazing, included the DJ, smoke, indoor fireworks, meals, dance floor, table settings and decor etc. He did so much so that I could do less. I visited a few other venues before finding Larry and everywhere else wanted a huge amount of money just to be at the venue not including anything! If you want an amazing wedding or any function for that matter, please contact Larry! You will not be disappointed. I will recommend this venue to EVERYONE!

Olivia Oates: I recently spent a night in the beautiful barn loft accomodation and could not recommend it highly enough! The space is perfect and has everything you could want in an Airbnb, the location absolutely took my breath away, from the entrance driveway to the vast gardens, vineyards, views and even cows! The bed was one of the best I have ever slept in and omg that bathtub!! I can only imagine how perfect it is here for weddings, I hope to come back as a wedding guest one day so I can see it all decked out! Highly highly recommend if you are looking for a unique stay in Adelaide, you won’t be disappointed! Brie & Billy have put so much love and care into the space and the experience and it truly shows. Thanks for a wonderful stay guys I will be back!!

Tim: A lovely little venue that opens directly to the gardens and a lake view.Everything was provided for, chairs, tables, AV system. And the in-house caterers put on a fantastic spread for afternoon tea. Delicious food served by friendly and professional wait staff.Would highly recommend for a small to medium function.
Stephen Haddin: The chairs were a bit uncomfortable, the building is still under partial construction but the location in the botanical gardens is beautiful and the food provided for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea was delicious.

Tammy Edwards: I cannot say enough good things about the service, the food, the booking process, the attention to detail, and the venue! It absolutely exceeded my expectations. We chose the ultimate high tea package and it was incredible. Ample food, bottomless cocktails, mocktails, and tea and coffee, and the most beautifully decorated room. Thank you to everyone at Glanville Hall. I had the most amazing 50th birthday celebration with you. 🎈

Cypher Punk: Yes it's a little rough around the edges, but it's a cheap drink, and you are made to feel comfortable. I sit on the balcony enjoy a cigar and a couple of beers, it's great to escape the crowds every now and then.Update: I just heard this place is closed forever. Another great bar leaves Adelaide. Adelaide is now becoming like other capital cities, it's lacking variety, and all the bars are looking the same. I once loved Adelaide, now I avoid it.

The venue is awesom with a great view of the beach. Highly recommend this place for any function you are having.We will be back again.

Nicolle Harvey: This venue was the most perfect setting for our special day! Highly recommended for any brides/grooms out there wanting the perfect reception location! With beach views and gorgeous sunsets in the heart of Glenelg, why wouldn't you. The food was amazing and the selection of drinks was great. The events team ensured the night ran like clockwork and there was plenty of parking and accommodation close by for guests.
Ina Peluso: I would like to highly recommend the function room @ the beach house for any function. I had my daughter's 21st there. The location and the room is fantastic and the view is breathtakingly beautiful but the biggest highlight would have to be the amazing staff. They were absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They went over & beyond being helpful. Their attention to detail was impeccable and they were all so lovely. Rebecca, Kelsey, Aine & all the staff working that night all should be highly commended for their professional manners & work ethic. It was all perfect, the food was delicious and looked like it came out of the master chef kitchen. I would highly recommend this venue for any special occassion.it will certainly be a memorable experience. Thank you all very much
