Most dishes are gluten free and they provide an easy to use guide listing every dish and its associated dietary information, so knowing what to eat and what to avoid is fairly simple if you have restrictions.
Scott Godfrey: What to say about this place apart from wow. Went here for my 40th birthday I had heard so much about this place and it did not disapoint. We had a drink in the bar part first. Such a lovely aear to sit and wait for your booking time. The drink prices are realy good compared to every where else.We sat at the table the lovely lady told use how it works love the green light red light thing. I said to my wife We won't need the red light there's no such thing as to much food. I was wrong We uesd the red light a fare bit. I'm calling it a food party the sides came out and all of them are so tasty and would be the best potato salad I have ever had. Then the meat started to come out and wow I love bbq meat and this is next level so so so much meat then after the first round you. CAn just keep asking for what you liked.We haven't seen the price before hand and once they said that side was unlimited and all the meat we thought easy over $100 each looked on line and was shocked how cheap it was. 10 out of 10 for everything at this place food,service, vibe, all staff are professional and friendly shout out to Leo who served us the most. Dyan Higgs: The restaurant is beautiful inside just need a bit more lighting to read menus. The mains were delicious I do recommend the wagyu rump and adobo chicken. The salad was dressed well too. We had the buffalo mozzarella as a starter it said chilli on the menu we couldnât taste any it needed a little more zing. Overall we had a great time and would visit again
Chen Angel: The food, service and environment are very comfortable.The appetizers are delicious, kingfish yummy.The pasta is very special and has a very chewy texture.In addition, the staple beef is super delicious, and the fried onions go well with it.The tiramisu for dessert was also good but very sweet.Meal time is 6-9:30, very full.For a meal of 7 people, I had the impression that two bottles of white wine were opened, and the cost was about 750 Australian dollars.
Ben Anastassi: My wife and I wanted a date lunch Press* did not disappoint. We had a bottle of French wine which was described perfectly for us by the waiter and we were seated in a very nice spot where we could enjoy our time and chat together. We shared all of our dishes and the staff were so attentive and always cleared the dishes and wiped the table between serves. All flavors were great but the stand out dish was the kangaroo tartare the flavour was unexpected and amazing. Thankyou to the staff that looked after us and I apologise for not getting names to put in this review.
Coreen Taylor: We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It had been a really tough previous 24 hours and our waitress Lulu was exceptional. She made our experience lovely, knowledgeable of the menu too. We loved the fresh oysters, our small plates of tuna and pork skewer, amazing kangaroo tartare and mains barramundi and the abodoe chicken with a side of Brussel sprouts was fresh and tantalising. Oliver Townsend: Me and my husband Antonio were sittiing peacefully until what we thought was a server came up to us and asked what we wanted my husband ordered a salad and I ordered a pasta, instead of writing down our order rthe little guy opted to tell me what the capital of Peru was he then asked if we wanted to know another fun fact. I said no but he proceeded to tell me what the 79th digit of pi was. Not impressed. Food was good though 5 stars

Foodie Files Melbourne: We visited Africola for dinner which is probably the coolest restaurant in South Australia and really reminded me of some of the fun eateries in London, turns out the owner is from the UK and has settled in Adelaide, lucky for us heâs brought an immaculately styled venue with a killer atmosphere.Food wise my favourite was the peri peri chicken and the yummy carrot side. The chicken skin sandwich is kind of a signature but I wasnât a huge fan. If you can book into the open kitchen seating that would be a really cool experience also.

All the food was incredibly tasty and well thought out with interesting flavours but still using familiar ingredients. Bedlam Wilhelm Rigney (Loony Living): My only complaint is that they're not open on Mondays and Tuesdays!Seriously, you wouldn't realise how amazing this place is from the outside. It looks like a classic, kinda dingy Classic Aussie chip shop, which is a pleasant surprise to see right in the middle of the CBD. But then you walk into the dining room, and it's a cozy, retro, discotheque-style restraint and bar. Fantastic vibes, friendly and accommodating staff, definitely a must, either just popping by for a bag of chips or to sit down and watch the city night life unfold while you're tucking into a roast.

Nicholas Van Der Sluys: I make a habit of dining at Magill Estate Restaurant whenever I am in Adelaide - it really is quite exceptional.That said, and maybe it is a case of too much of a good thing having dined four times in 18 months, the menu, stellar as it is, doesn't change often enough, even with seasonality of produce.Service from the maĂźtre d' and sommelier can be frosty, though the English waitress that served our table on two of my four recent visits is outstanding.The wine pairings are rigid and expensive. I find it preferable to order a few glasses plus a bottle of a lovely back vintage than to commit to the pairing.

Allen Tang: My wife and I patron this amazing restaurant last Friday to celebrate our joint birthdays together. The service was impeccable from the moment we were greeted at the door till we left. Even though there was a main waiter assigned to our table, we loved the idea of having the different cooks bringing out our food and explaining the food as they served us. We had their Signature Tasting menu and as I was not a red meat eater, the replacement of the red meat with another was great and I was happy with them. We had a bottle of their GSM wine too. The ambience was great and our table look out to the night skyline of Adelaide. Kudos to the Chinese male server who took care of us through out the night. Will definitely come again to try their rest of their menu.Dietary restrictions: Great substitutions!Parking: Plenty of parking just outside the main restaurant.

Foodie Files Melbourne: We visited Jasmine for dinner which is a lovely little spot, intimate and dimly lit with an impressive atmosphere. Indian as a cuisine generally seems to offer fine dining as a rarity or incredibly casual venues with nowhere in between but this straddles the two as an excellent middle ground.We had samosas which didnât seem particularly traditional to me and the chicken tikka which was a small serve with a kick to it. Each main comes with an individual plate of rice but naturally we had to order an ingenious blue cheese naan also. I enjoyed the eggplant dish, the lamb korma and the butter chicken. Was it my favourite ever Indian no but it was certainly tasty

Gary Niblock: A stunning restaurant with a beautiful ambience. I had the Punjabi lamb tandoori and it was delicious along with the daal and rice. The naan was also perfect. I'd also like to add that the service was excellent and felt very personal despite being a first-time customer from interstate. I'd definitely come back again next time I'm in Adelaide.

Belinda Wellings: Service was attentive and our steak mains were delicious. The brussells sprouts as a side were divine!The restaurant was empty the night we were there so the vibe was unfortunately a bit lacking.BUT we could not fault the staff, including their wine matching recommendation, and so we decided it was a lovely intimate dinner in this beautifully presented space.

Service was on point - our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable.The price for pre-dinner drinks, plus the tasting menu and wine flight, was much less than we would have anticipated. The food is quite rich and diverse, and the color is beautiful, which makes people feel good and appetizing. It has vegetarian food, seafood and steaks, which are very healthy, and the desserts and drinks are also It is even more delicious and delicious. Even if it is cold when taken out, it is still delicious. It can also be easily reheated in the oven or microwave. It is a wonderful store that I highly recommend.
Frances Gumapac: Always a good experience with the food and service. Our waiter recommended a few cocktails to try and I was not disappointed. The pisco sour tasted a little sweet, a little sour, and was beautifully presented.The coxinhas and empanadas came out fast and freshly hot. Not greasy. Both entrees were full of fillings and flavour. Of course, the paellas here are also very good.I keep coming back to Cumbia because of all these good food, drinks and people who work there.
Roaming Bush Barbie: Perfect breakfast and great service đ I had the prawn pancake đ€€ and son had bacon and eggs. The coffee was too sublime. Only issue, I regret sitting outside as there were construction works across the road and it was quite noisy but her not the cafes fault. Bernadette Mc Namara: A cold wintry Friday...lets do lunch! But where to go? Didnt want what has become boring pub food...and found CUMBIA! We were welcomed and seated warmly..under the heater in the garden area. Our waitress Alexandra was patient as we perused the menu.with so many delicious meals it was decided a paella and some garlic prawns accompanied by arepa...the dishes came out hot, aroma loaded and extremely tasty! OMG too many choices...really need to head back to try something new! The food was superb..a smokey paella...the garic prawns were plentiful moist and garlicky tasty and the arepa was a surprise to our taste buds yummy to say the least. Oh did I mention the margaritas??? Perfectly suited to our food. A very pleasant encounter all round! Ee will be back!

David Paul: Sound system was not the best yet I've seen Beats on Parade play at other gigs without sound issues. Maybe replace the cables as whenever the DJ spoke it was this inaudible high pitched shrill. Once the DJ stopped speaking it wasn't too bad despite the system cutting out on one speaker. Once it was stable, it was fine. Don't use an MC if the mics aren't working - trust me, I'm a sound engineer.
Scott Hawken: One of the nicest hotels in Adelaide with a great restaurant and bistro with excellent food and friendly staff.
Hannah Alison: Gabby was immediately welcoming, so polite and friendly to all of us, good humour too. She is good at what she does!Food was delicious and presented really nicely.Tables were set up nicely, and was comfortably warm even though itâs freezing outside.My daughter had had her first taste of chocolate and approved.. Vegetarian options: I had 2 vegetarian appetisers and both were delicious and decent portions. I noticed a few v/gf options on the menuKid-friendliness: I thank Gabby again for how nice she was to my daughter, immediately getting her a high chair and offering plastic cups without me even asking. Me Pips: Weâve been to Golden Boy so many times. Yeah, itâs that good. Tonight we had great table service - thank you Isaiah! And it got me thinking whatâs so great about Golden Boy. I mean apart from the spectacular food. Itâs the customer service. The wait staff know the menu and are passionate about the dishes, relaying the details with wide eyed enthusiasm. A delight as always.
Sara: My daughter took me to Golden Boy on a Monday at lunchtime. We were celebrating my birthday as well as her own, which both occur in August.We chose to order the tuk tuk menu rather than having a full a la carte. We mentioned what type of tastes we had when it came to Asian fusion/Thai food and let the staff serve us a variety of dishes. The portions were extremely generous and absolutely delicious. The staff waited until we had consumed one dish before bringing on another. We can highly recommend the betel leaf with ocean trout if you enjoy something spicy - such delicate little servings, and the soft shell crab dish was a particular winner. Diners have both spoon and fork as cutlery or can use chopsticks if preferred.Coconut ice cream was an ideal dessert.Chilled wine accompanied our meal.The young man who waited on us was a delight.I cannot speak highly enough of Golden Boy and am at a loss to understand the couple of negative reviews I have read. The positives certainly outweigh that minority anyway.

Georgie, who served us, was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. She gave good advice too.The food itself was to die for. The waitress asked about preferences and I had a beef main and everyone else got to share seafood and chicken. Donât be fooled by the small serving sizes, I left feeling very full. I have been to Golden 4 times and it never disappoints.We were served by Georgia who informed us she had only been working there for a month but her service was exceptional and she said she was really enjoying working there.The food was amazing and a great variety. The 8 courses we shared was more than enough food and we were never waiting too long between dishes. Canât recommend a better place and we are looking forward to our next time there.
