Service was on point - our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable.The price for pre-dinner drinks, plus the tasting menu and wine flight, was much less than we would have anticipated. The food and service from the 3 gentlemen looking after us was exceptional. The food was 5 star from entrees to dessert. Could not fault this restaurant. The pastry wasn’t fluffy and crunchy as I imagined it. My husband had the venison and the sauce was a bit too sweet. The vegetables tasted well but a bit greasy. Nicholas Van Der Sluys: I make a habit of dining at Magill Estate Restaurant whenever I am in Adelaide - it really is quite exceptional.That said, and maybe it is a case of too much of a good thing having dined four times in 18 months, the menu, stellar as it is, doesn't change often enough, even with seasonality of produce.Service from the maĂźtre d' and sommelier can be frosty, though the English waitress that served our table on two of my four recent visits is outstanding.The wine pairings are rigid and expensive. I find it preferable to order a few glasses plus a bottle of a lovely back vintage than to commit to the pairing.

Allen Tang: My wife and I patron this amazing restaurant last Friday to celebrate our joint birthdays together. The service was impeccable from the moment we were greeted at the door till we left. Even though there was a main waiter assigned to our table, we loved the idea of having the different cooks bringing out our food and explaining the food as they served us. We had their Signature Tasting menu and as I was not a red meat eater, the replacement of the red meat with another was great and I was happy with them. We had a bottle of their GSM wine too. The ambience was great and our table look out to the night skyline of Adelaide. Kudos to the Chinese male server who took care of us through out the night. Dyan Higgs: The restaurant is beautiful inside just need a bit more lighting to read menus. The mains were delicious I do recommend the wagyu rump and adobo chicken. The salad was dressed well too. We had the buffalo mozzarella as a starter it said chilli on the menu we couldn’t taste any it needed a little more zing. Overall we had a great time and would visit again

Chen Angel: The food, service and environment are very comfortable.The appetizers are delicious, kingfish yummy.The pasta is very special and has a very chewy texture.In addition, the staple beef is super delicious, and the fried onions go well with it.The tiramisu for dessert was also good but very sweet.Meal time is 6-9:30, very full.For a meal of 7 people, I had the impression that two bottles of white wine were opened, and the cost was about 750 Australian dollars.

We had a bottle of French wine which was described perfectly for us by the waiter and we were seated in a very nice spot where we could enjoy our time and chat together. We shared all of our dishes and the staff were so attentive and always cleared the dishes and wiped the table between serves. All flavors were great but the stand out dish was the kangaroo tartare the flavour was unexpected and amazing. Thankyou to the staff that looked after us and I apologise for not getting names to put in this review.

My favourite dish was the beef cheek, perfectly braised and melting in the mouth and very gelatinous the way I expected it to be. The salt and pepper squid had a nice sweet and sour dressing drizzle over it although i could enjoy the squids a bit more crispy with the dressing only in the salad and not so much on the squids. The other dishes sounded very appealing and would love the come back to try them out too. Ill get straight to the highlight of the evening and that was Carmen the wait staff. She explained all the specials to us, gave us enough time to settle in and made some great recommendations and came and checked on us every now and then to make sure we had everything we needed. She served us with a smile through the evening.Great place and would definitely go back.

Jen Bray: Very good value for money! We dined with a First Table voucher & had to choose from a varied 2 or 3 course menu.Dietary restrictions: The staff were very good about checking with the chef, re the dietary requirements of our group.

Pejman Babaei: Great taste of food in such a cosy restaurant. We visited this place on a special occasion, and we enjoyed having a nice and tasty dinner. We asked to be sited beside the window which had an amazing view of colorful sky. "Scotch Fillet" & "Seared Kangaroo Loin" were more than tasty as main courses along with delicious entrée and dessert. The staff was super friendly and tried her best to deliver the best customer service.

Mandy Johnston: I would like to say my personal experience at George's was truly wonderful. I attended a group function last Saturday night and The hospitality service from the team Alex and Keiran was amazing remembering all our names was so personal. Food was so delicious. I will highly recommend George's to my family and friends. Well done to George and the Team !! Regards Mandy.

Oliver Townsend: Me and my husband Antonio were sittiing peacefully until what we thought was a server came up to us and asked what we wanted my husband ordered a salad and I ordered a pasta, instead of writing down our order rthe little guy opted to tell me what the capital of Peru was he then asked if we wanted to know another fun fact. I said no but he proceeded to tell me what the 79th digit of pi was. Not impressed. Food was good though 5 stars

Jessica Ferris: , the scallops on special and the prawn skewers which were all delicious. But the star of the meal was the lamb shoulder, we haven’t stopped talking about it- best lamb I have ever eaten and paired with the crispy roast potatoes was chefs kiss. Highly recommend. Fiona Wallace: What a find! I am not an Adelaide local, but I own a French business, so when travelling to new cities I like to enjoy a French meal where possible. I had already eaten dinner unfortunately, so I just popped in for desert and a glass of wine.The manager gave me a warm welcome and seated me at the bar. I had the parfait, which was delicious and a lovely glass of red. I will definitely be back, it’s a lovely peaceful, professional environment, with the smoothness that only a well oiled team can bring seamlessly.Music and lighting were just right for a date night, I look forward to returning for the whole dining experience.

Liza Lam: The food here is delicious. Every dish we tried was flavourful and we enjoyed so much. The only thing that was not to our liking was the bread we ordered from the sides. The bread was too soft and it should be toasted to get the crunchy sides. Overall, it's a cosy restaurant and will definitely come back to try other dishes on their menu.

Melt in your mouth, extremely soft meatballs and creamy delicious cheese sauce. Highly recommend!Steak with peppercorn sauce: steak cooked to perfection, succulent, flavourful. The peppercorn sauce was to die for, quite a kick not like your usual creamy pepper sauce. Chips were hand cut and crispy 11/10.Greens: big bowl of green beans with roasted capers. Not what I expected however really flavourful and capers added a nice touch. Chee T: I recently had an incredible dining experience at Ginza Miyako, a Japanese restaurant that offers an all-you-can-eat menu. Despite the all-you-can-eat format, the quality of the food was outstanding. Every dish was prepared with great attention to detail and presented beautifully. From the fresh sashimi and sushi to the deliciously tender grilled meats, every bite was a delight.The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring our glasses were always full and our plates promptly cleared. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal with friends or family.

Tom Buck: I went here with my friend earlier today. It was a great experience. The food was delicious. The service was impeccable. The waitress was perfect! Everything about this restaurant was so good. I really enjoyed the calm and welcoming atmosphere. The music in the background was very relaxing. Despite being situated on a busy street in Adelaide city, entering this restaurant felt like being transported to a quiet little place in Kyoto. Fantastic experience! Thank you!

Andy Lee: Have always wondered what’s inside and decided to bite the bullet tonight. The service was great - the man who greeted us was very jovial and treated us like we had been there 100 times before.The signature chicken was juicy and flavourful and the serving of ribs was huge. Definitely got our money’s worth. I’m excited to come back in the near future.Unfortunately no photos because we ate the food too quickly! 😂

I am just so grateful we found it 🙏Booked dinner for my wife's birthday unsure what to expect but looking for a great steak and we weren't disappointed.We were greeted and served by the owner Shadia... and despite only booking to find a great steak,her love and passion for the Signature Chilli Chicken dish convinced me to give it a try.I was not disappointed. The chilli chicken is incredible. Not normally a fan of much spice, this was just dish was amazing. My wife chose the Scotch Fillet and was equally blown away.My love for the Chili Chicken was so strong, I booked in a week later with a mate, just to share how good this food and service was... this time served by Chirath. He is an absolute star, who made our dinner feel relaxed, yet special.It cannot be underestimated just how good this place is. The cocktails are fantastic too!You can taste the passion in the food. The owners are super welcoming and proudly explained their famous dishes to us, which turned out to be absolutely delicious. My parents and I highly praise this place.We started with the octopus and Swiss mushroom. The chargrilled octopus was delicious, and the succulent mushrooms mixed with salsa and probably sour cream were very appetizing and savory.The MS9 wagyu was cooked to perfection and full of flavors. The lamb cutlets were flavorful, offering a different take from how we usually dine at home.The chilli chicken was probably one of the juiciest chickens I’ve had in restaurants for a while. Take that from a seasoned chicken lover from Asia! We love our chicken, and a lot of times the chicken cooked in Australia is just dry and lacks flavor. But this one here is different!The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who made us feel right at home.
