Mandoo: what do users think?

่ƒกๆƒ ็ : This restaurant specializes in signature Korean dumplings, which are actually steamed dumplings, fried or soup. As they always have vermicelli and seaweed fillings, for my taste, they feel too bland and lacking in umami. Bibimbap is just like that, relying on sweet and spicy sauce to enhance the flavor, but the dipping sauce for dumplings is not bad, and there are pickled cucumbers to relieve the greasiness. This may be okay in Australia, but it is not that authentic.

Ryan: Delicious juicy tasty homemade dumplings with quality produce made with care by what looks like the owner/father of the family owned business. Hand made dumpling wrappers and hand made mince filling. The kimchi pork dumplings are delicious we had the pork fried dumplings as well and the dumpling soup. Definitely recommend if you like traditional Korean dumplings cuisine

WCYH: Adelaide is dumpling city but Mandoo is the best ๐Ÿ‘. Generously filled with the lightest, most delicious mixture with glass noodles, beautifully chopped veg/egg or pork or chicken. Bibimbap very generously sized, every ingredient in its place. Dumpling dipping sauce with sesame, shallots and chili also great, in a lovely welcoming home atmosphere.

thecookingecon: super good and VERY generous portion size. One bowl could feed 2-3 person. The sauce was given in a bottle so you could add as much as you like.Mandoo

Suda Shanmugaraja: Yummy!! Hidden away on Bank Street in Adelaide, this gem of a restaurant will leave you satisfied and happy if you are a fan of mandu; the dumplings that were a staple of the Korean royal court cuisine.Folding, cooking, dining and billing, all happened in one small room with barely 6 tables. There is often a small queue, and customers stand outside on the kerb to be seated. Our wait was about 10 minutes during lunch rush and we were able to place our order while standing in queue. The service was fast. The menu was straight forward; order your dumplings steamed, fried or cooked in soup. Other than mandu, there is an Udon soup and Bi-bim-bap. Dumplings are served piping hot, along with a spicy sauce and ample pickles. Most dishes include a salad, mash, or glass noodles. These are some of the best mandu I have tasted. The delicate flour skin of the mandu is second to none, the meaty filling is absolutely delicious, and the folds are expertly made by the hands of a master. The people at Mandoo are courteous and well organized. The chef and staff members made us feel special and were very obliging. The dishes are generous in size and offer great value. Each dish is portioned well per person. It will be ideal to visit Mandoo with a couple of companions and share and taste multiple dishes.

Matthew Yong-O'Gorman: Hit and miss with dishes. Wouldn't rush back when in Adelaide.

Dyan Higgs: The restaurant is beautiful inside just need a bit more lighting to read menus. The mains were delicious I do recommend the wagyu rump and adobo chicken. The salad was dressed well too. We had the buffalo mozzarella as a starter it said chilli on the menu we couldnโ€™t taste any it needed a little more zing. Overall we had a great time and would visit again

Chen Angel: The food, service and environment are very comfortable. The appetizers are delicious, kingfish yummy. The pasta is very special and has a very chewy texture. In addition, the staple beef is super delicious, and the fried onions go well with it.The tiramisu for dessert was also good but very sweet.Meal time is 6-9:30, very full. For a meal of 7 people, I had the impression that two bottles of white wine were opened, and the cost was about 750 Australian dollars.

Ben Anastassi: My wife and I wanted a date lunch Press* did not disappoint. We had a bottle of French wine which was described perfectly for us by the waiter and we were seated in a very nice spot where we could enjoy our time and chat together. We shared all of our dishes and the staff were so attentive and always cleared the dishes and wiped the table between serves. All flavors were great but the stand out dish was the kangaroo tartare the flavour was unexpected and amazing. Thankyou to the staff that looked after us and I apologise for not getting names to put in this review.

Coreen Taylor: We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It had been a really tough previous 24 hours and our waitress Lulu was exceptional. She made our experience lovely, knowledgeable of the menu too. We loved the fresh oysters, our small plates of tuna and pork skewer, amazing kangaroo tartare and mains barramundi and the abodoe chicken with a side of Brussel sprouts was fresh and tantalising. A quiet celebration to celebrate love and life. Thankyou Press Food and Wine and Lulu!

Parlamento: what do users think?

David Parlavecchio: was overcooked, but you could feel it was a good cut and of good quality. My partner's gnocchi were also good.It is located in the center of Adelaide so it is easy to reach by public transport, but difficult to find parking nearby.Vegetarian options: There are various choices for vegetarian dishes, pasta, salads and various vegetables.

Mark Roman: . The dish is described as being between 400-500g and cooked to my liking. I wish I'd taken a photo now because the meat was definitely on the lower end of the weight scale, and I reckon it'd be hard pressed to even be 400g. In addition it was overcooked, but that wasn't a major drama. Not as tender as it's been in the past, but tasty. Parlamento is always busy, so it's not like they were dealing with an extra large group that strained the kitchen resources, but I was a tad disappointed in the meat dish, especially, given it's now $52 which had a decent increase from the previous visit. I could have bought this same steak from a local pub for $35, so at $52, it should be without question. The lamb loin chops and pasta dished served to my companions were to the usual standard.Wheelchair accessibility: Given the smallish nature of the restaurant, arriving in a wheelchair without advance notice is not advised. In addition, there's not a lot of room between tables.

MK: We dined at Parlamento twice while in Adelaide last May. The first time our experience was so special and delicious we went back the next evening. Food and service were excellent. Rafael and the team made us feel like we were VIPs. Then on the morning we were flying home we were looking for a good coffee and weโ€™re so happy to see Parlamento was open just for a coffee! Again 5-star service and best coffee! Grazie Rafael and team, when next in Adelaide we will be back.

Silvano Porcaro: Visited Adelaide this week after a long absence. I had been to Parlamento on previous visits and was always impressed with the food and service. I went for dinner on Tuesday evening and ordered the spaghetti marinara and a mixed spirit to drink. The order was promptly placed and the drink quickly arrived with a basket containing bread and butter. The butter was at room temperature so easily spreadable.I had some friendly discussion with Ralph, one of the owners of Parlamento whilst waiting for the marinara. It didn't take long for it to arrive and the aroma was simply mouth watering! The dish was spectacular - spaghetti perfectly 'al dente' and an abundance of fresh mixed seafood. A beautiful rose coloued sauce brought it all together. It was really good!If you live in Adelaide or are just visiting, I can definitely recommend Parlamento as a good home style italian restaurant. Thanks Ralph and the team. I look forward to my next visit.

Elvira Rosmini: was next to none. We truly enjoyed dining in your restaurant Ralph; you made a simple catch up amongst friends a memorable and truly enjoyable experience. Never retire mateโ€ฆ we love your food, generosity, humour and above all your authentic Italian cuisine.Cheers,Carmine

Beverley Kelley: Excellent restaurant and the staff were lovely food great also!

Sharee B: We went to Culshaws for our wedding anniversary and ordered a number of tapas. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. Staff were extremely polite and we didnโ€™t have to wait very long for our food. My favourite was the chilli garlic prawns. Will definitely come back another time!

C B: We loved the tapas menu and the service was excellent! The tapas presentation was amazing with generous servings and not too pricey. I highly recommend and will be returning soon! We especially enjoyed the prawns and the Ceravolo wines ๐Ÿ˜‹Thanks to the staff, you are all wonderful.

Andrew Bowden: We had a delightful night with friends from Hong Kong. We picked off Google reviews as we came from interstate, we were not disappointed, food was delicious, staff helpful & friendly. Can highly recommend this restaurant.

will: Lovely staff, except for the tall skinny pale man who sat next me and stared at me while i was eating, on the way out he followed me, i told him to stop and threatened to call the cops. he persisted and continued his journey. he says "i have to pay for what i have done" to this day he haunts my dreams and sleeps under my bed. my Wife says he isn't real. "HE ISNT REAL WILLIAM" she has now left me.

Golden Boy: what do users think?

Me Pips: Weโ€™ve been to Golden Boy so many times. Yeah, itโ€™s that good. Tonight we had great table service - thank you Isaiah! And it got me thinking whatโ€™s so great about Golden Boy. I mean apart from the spectacular food. Itโ€™s the customer service. The wait staff know the menu and are passionate about the dishes, relaying the details with wide eyed enthusiasm. A delight as always.

Sara: My daughter took me to Golden Boy on a Monday at lunchtime. We were celebrating my birthday as well as her own, which both occur in August. We chose to order the tuk tuk menu rather than having a full a la carte. We mentioned what type of tastes we had when it came to Asian fusion/Thai food and let the staff serve us a variety of dishes. The portions were extremely generous and absolutely delicious. The staff waited until we had consumed one dish before bringing on another. We can highly recommend the betel leaf with ocean trout if you enjoy something spicy - such delicate little servings, and the soft shell crab dish was a particular winner. Diners have both spoon and fork as cutlery or can use chopsticks if preferred.Coconut ice cream was an ideal dessert.Chilled wine accompanied our meal. The young man who waited on us was a delight.I cannot speak highly enough of Golden Boy and am at a loss to understand the couple of negative reviews I have read. The positives certainly outweigh that minority anyway.

Ruth Carpenter: Golden Boy was recommended to us, and we're so glad we went there. It was the best meal of our 3 weeks holiday in Australia! The service was excellent. Georgie, who served us, was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. She gave good advice too.The food itself was to die for. We chose the tasting menu, and it was hard to choose a favourite from all the tasty, interesting dishes. We're planning to come back to Adelaide and will be booking Golden Boy for sure, maybe every night!

Keith Seanard: We have gotten into the habit of doing the chefs choice menus and this was one of the best. The waitress asked about preferences and I had a beef main and everyone else got to share seafood and chicken. Donโ€™t be fooled by the small serving sizes, I left feeling very full. The food was fresh and seasoned perfectly. Since it was my wifeโ€™s birthday, they brought her a funny desert. My only complaint was the loud music more suited to a bar than dining.Vegetarian options: My girls were quite happyParking: I suggest you Uber to and from as there is no easy parking

Mitchell Hadjinicolaou: My partner and I had dinner at the restaurant on Saturday night celebrating my birthday. I have been to Golden 4 times and it never disappoints. We were served by Georgia who informed us she had only been working there for a month but her service was exceptional and she said she was really enjoying working there. The food was amazing and a great variety. The 8 courses we shared was more than enough food and we were never waiting too long between dishes. Canโ€™t recommend a better place and we are looking forward to our next time there.

LADAMSPIANO: . They all contain very flavourful food, and we even had left overs which were amazing for lunch the next day.The atmosphere in there was amazing, nice subtle music, and everyone simply delighting in the food they were being served. All the staff were extremely polite and professional! If I could I would give this place a 6/5 stars it was that amazing. Thanks for leaving a lasting impression ๐Ÿ˜Dietary restrictions: They can make anything to suit the dietary needs. Very versatile menu with interchangeable ingredients. My girlfriend has celiac so they made sure everything was gluten free!

Fiona Wallace: What a find! I am not an Adelaide local, but I own a French business, so when travelling to new cities I like to enjoy a French meal where possible. I had already eaten dinner unfortunately, so I just popped in for desert and a glass of wine. The manager gave me a warm welcome and seated me at the bar. I had the parfait, which was delicious and a lovely glass of red. I will definitely be back, itโ€™s a lovely peaceful, professional environment, with the smoothness that only a well oiled team can bring seamlessly.Music and lighting were just right for a date night, I look forward to returning for the whole dining experience.

Liza Lam: The food here is delicious. Every dish we tried was flavourful and we enjoyed so much. The only thing that was not to our liking was the bread we ordered from the sides. The bread was too soft and it should be toasted to get the crunchy sides. Overall, it's a cosy restaurant and will definitely come back to try other dishes on their menu.

Nia Mh: Small cosy wine bar feel, delicious food with elegance. 10/10 dinner!Extremely welcoming and friendly staff from the beginning, very attentive. What I ordered:Pork and Thyme meatballs: I was skeptical about these as I am not a blue cheese fan, however they were just incredible! Melt in your mouth, extremely soft meatballs and creamy delicious cheese sauce. Highly recommend!Steak with peppercorn sauce: steak cooked to perfection, succulent, flavourful. The peppercorn sauce was to die for, quite a kick not like your usual creamy pepper sauce. Chips were hand cut and crispy 11/10.Greens: big bowl of green beans with roasted capers. Not what I expected however really flavourful and capers added a nice touch. Went well with meatballs.Cost: $80 for 3 dishesWould be a great date spot, but also would be suited to a larger group dinner.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options availableDietary restrictions: Gluten free options available

Steve Putric: home, awesome. Service was excellent,, I'm coming back for sure ๐Ÿ˜› Update 08/09/24 once again a delicious duck pasta lunch, glad to see nothing has changed, still great flavours, walked in grumpy walked out happy ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ keep up the great standard guys.

Matthew Yong-O'Gorman: The set menu was delicious. Very well balanced and not too pretentious.

Boon wee KUAH: consistently highly recommended and packed, so must be doing something right. service was good, strange policy that 8 should have tasting menu, as italian food strikes me easy to share. starters were good, burrata with cucumber a fresh twist, carpaccio and squid good, croquettes and swordfish crostini expensive n not best value. we wanted pasta to share, eggplant was great, squid ink pasta was different but tasty, tagliatelle w crab good and duck pappardelle was creamy. not really my idea of italian food, dishes all seem to be more complicated than necessary, good atmosphere n. clearly super popular

Avijeet Sen: Visited in Sep 2024Based on recommendations from multiple ppl, I ended up visiting Oggi. And I am glad that I listened to the recommendations.Oggi is a fine restaurant with a no nonsense menu where anything ordered would be good in my opinion. I ended up having a few starters and 2 pastas - all of which was quite excellent. For dessert, I had the tiramisu which was fantastic too.For cocktail lovers, Iโ€™d recommend having the Negroni. Now Iโ€™ll also recommend ppl visiting Adelaide to have a meal or two at Oggi ๐Ÿ™‚

Haramrit K Saini (Harika): I absolutely enjoyed this place.Loveeeeeed the Burrata, must try! Also had spaghetti for my mains and it was just perfect.Plus, the staff was just lovely.Definitely recommend!

Arian Kanie: Food was amazing

Anthony De Dominicis: When I first walked in, I got a pretty strong whiff of Asian cuisine and was seated almost immediately. There were six of us and most of us ordered different items which arrived between 10-20 minutes. Fast! I ordered the shredded pork salad which was fairly pleasant. It had a good mixture of coriander, green apple strips, corn, red onion, and pork. $18 it came to. My friends had various items like the beef/chicken varieties and enjoyed them thoroughly all on average worth $25. Otherwise, the place is pretty neat for where it's positioned and the prices are very average considering the portion sizes. Also, better menu descriptions would be appreciated. Three words cant describe a dish.Revisited 5 years later and had a greater experience. The menu is nicer, more subtle and tastes amazing. Had the beef wagyu and it was so good.

James Economos: It is exactly what it intends to be. Don't expect fine food, but it hits the brief of being tasty and warms the soul.Yes, the flavours and sauces are rich, and it's filling, just what we often crave. It's also bustling and lively aka noisy. Staff are fun and friendly. You might have to keep an eye out to get their attention, but that's because the place is usually full.Looking forward to revisiting.

S Izzo: Never fails.Amazing service.Even better food.Quality, flavour, and presentation all on point. Will be back again, again.

Jon Hunter: it's exceptional. The Pad Thai is classic and plentiful. They were happy to accommodate for no onion and no coriander.Prices $12 to $16 for most starters and $24 to $30 for most mains.

Alexander Collins: and Pappardelle steamrolled anything I have had in a long long time.If you have not been or are visiting from out of town - Luigiโ€™s Out-cooked and out-values the likes of Grill Americano of Melbourne. We spent $210 on 1x Entree, 2x Main, 2x Dessert, 3x Wines, if you find me this quality of Italian food and service in Adelaide cheaper - your meal is on me.The service for such a busy night was great, only flaw in our experience was where we sat at the front - however, that was our fault booking 30 mins before our meal.Highly recommend attending. Also highly recommend Luigi puts his pricing up, it was a steal.

Henry: I recently celebrated my partnerโ€™s birthday at this incredible Italian restaurant, and this was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had in Adelaide. From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for a special evening. The food was absolutely divine โ€“ every dish was bursting with authentic flavours, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. It was a perfect balance of elegance and comfort, and we cannot wait to return.I would also like to express my gratitude to Nick, Elena and Davide for their extraordinary and considerate service. Their excellent service made this a memorable birthday experience. We really appreciate it!Highly recommended for anyone looking for an unforgettable Italian dining experience in Adelaide!

Lynne pender: We had originally booked another restaurant for our anniversary lunch but it was extremely noisy and not the relaxing vibe we planned. Weโ€™d been meaning to try Luigiโ€™s for a while as weโ€™d heard great things. The food and service were amazing, weโ€™ll definitely be back as it was outstanding. Food was exceptional, live music in the background and the staff were very personable and friendly. The owner Luigi introduced himself and was very welcoming and charming. Soi38 Regional Thai Restaurant: what do users think?

Things I Find โ€œRobby Robstarโ€ Interesting: I'm always scared when we order the 'just feed us' menu. The first dish that came out was tiny, but the flavour was huge. The waitor called it the snack. As each meal came out, we had a decent amount of rice or roti to go with it.Each bite was better than the last. Each dish out shining the last. I didn't realise that Thai food tasted and looked this great.Of course, I had to match my food with a Thai beer and I was transported to Thailands most modern 5 star restaurant. The waitor was so kind, friendly, and knowledgeable, making sure everything was good and kept up with the drinks.By the time we finished our food, we entered a food comma. We tried to walk it off by walking to the cinema, paying for our tickets, and falling asleep. Haha.I highly recommend this place.

Alex Vasek (Alex's Ace's): ๐ŸŒŸ ** Dining Experience at @soi.38 Adelaide ** ๐ŸŒŸIf you're a fan of authentic Thai cuisine or simply in search of a remarkable dining experience in Adelaide, look no further than Soi 38. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were captivated by the vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The decor perfectly blends traditional Thai elements with contemporary design, creating a cozy and inviting space that immediately sets the tone for an exceptional meal. Our culinary journey began with a selection of appetizers that were both visually stunning and incredibly delicious. Each bite was tender, juicy, crispy, and bursting with flavour, offering a tantalizing glimpse of the culinary delights that lay ahead. For our main course, we indulged in a variety of dishes that showcased the rich, aromatic flavours of Thai cuisine. Crispy pork belly with vegetables was a highlight, featuring perfectly cooked pork belly and chilli spices with crispy vegetables is a harmonious balance of sweet, sour, and savory notes. Equally impressive was the chicken massaman, a symphony of flavours with tender chicken pieces, vibrant vegetables, and a creamy, coconut-infused sauce that provided just the right amount of heat. The dessert was no less impressive. We couldn't resist trying the black Sticky Rice, a classic Thai treat that provided the perfect end to our meal. The sweet, ripe lagoon paired with the creamy coconut sticky rice was a match made in heaven, leaving us thoroughly satisfied and eager to return. What truly set our dining experience apart was the impeccable service. The staff at Soi 38 were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food they were serving. They took the time to explain each dish, offered recommendations, and ensured that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect.Whether you're a longtime fan of Thai cuisine or looking to explore new culinary horizons, Soi 38 promises an unforgettable dining experience that will leave you coming back for more. Highly recommend! ๐Ÿœ๐Ÿ›

Andrew Ng: The rump steak was pretty ordinary, barely above the pub grubs I usually pay less than half for. It was full of sinews and ligaments and dry, but the sauces were much better. So I still give it a 3 stars. The service was above average but the attitude was underwhelming esp when my friend told the staff of his opinion on the goat curry which has the same problem as the rump steak. She didn't respond well to the constructive criticism.I know the hospitality business is going through a rough patch now and I don't want to disparage any outlet into folding up.I will still give Soi 38 another go, afterall I can't rule out that tonight is one of those off occasions for the chef. I will drop by again next week or after.

Craig Jeffery: 2KW provide an exceptional dining experience. We enjoyed a long lunch, selecting the โ€˜feed meโ€™ menu, which allowed us to sample several shared dishes, which we complemented with brilliantly recommended wines and rounded off with divinely crafted cocktails. 2KW excelled in every aspect of the culinary journey, however the absolute standout was the customer service provided by the front of house team, in particular Lisa, who delivered outstanding attention to detail, expertly balanced with knowledge, warmth and professionalism. It is evident that the team at 2KW take great pride in their work, and this translates to a superior dining experience in every aspect. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Ballaboosta: what do users think?

Nathaly Ceballos: Ballaboosta was an amazing cafe. I went with a friend, and the food was so good that I couldn't finish it all. I had to get a delivery, but the appetizers and the dinner that I ordered were amazing.

Melbean: and a fantastic wine list with a variety of local wines. The atmosphere is fun and the service is great. On our way out we met the lovely owner and enjoyed a birthday drink with her. We felt so welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our night. Thank you for looking after us!

aphrodite george: The food and service at this restaurant was exceptional! Annie, goes above and beyond for all customers to ensure they have the best experience when dining here. We will be sure to come back! #10/10 ๐Ÿ’

Melbournelops: Yum! Full of flavour Asian fusion dishes. The portions are generous. You have to try the zucchini fries ๐Ÿ‘Œ
