The Hickinbothom agent secured a block at the first sale available. Then every step along the path of building they kept me informed of progress and the home was completed within 12 months. Then after completion any minor concerns I had were fixed in the 3 month period after handover. all the staff were very friendly and helpful . I am a very happy customer and feel like I made the correct decision building with them when I here about all the other builders going broke and people loosing their money.

preet kaur: We wanted to demolish and build our new house so we started with visiting display homes. The first display home was Dechellis ' Villeroy' in Old Reynella and than visited multiple homes with different builders for few weeks. Finally we came back to Dechellis because we could not find a good build quality anywhere else that Dechellis homes depict. David our sales consultant who we met in Villeroy was so supportive and patient since the start of the process. He understood our vision and helped us with the plans. Than came the selection process that felt quite overwhelming at the start but all the suppliers with very thorough and guided us in our selections. Last step was our selections interview with Chloe and Tamika for which we were very nervous about as our upgrades went over the limit we were hoping but they both were so patient and talked us through and made last minute changes that we needed. Overall we are very happy with the whole process so far with Dechellis Homes.

Asi John: The representative was welcoming and friendly. We were not pressured at any stage. All our questions were answered clearly and to our satisfaction. Communication was excellent and information was sent quickly, as promised. Regarding the design and selections, the representative was very knowledgeable and brought up things we had not considered, saving us money in the long run. All documentation was clearly explained and easy to follow. Fairmont Homes took care of the planning permission and environmental checks etc and we were kept updated regularly with the progression of our application. Vikramjit Singh: We started exploring different builders in 2019 and even paid deposits to a few. After we met David Amos of Regent, we were quite impressed by the non-imposing nature of this person, who was just happy to answer our questions without pushing us to sign the paperwork first. As we progressed, we signed the contract and then took a pause putting the entire process on hold. There were no silly questions asked. After a year, we decided to resume and Regent were happy to continue without any grudge or grumble. The entire process of finalising the design as well as going through selections was seamless and painfree. Even after the build commenced, they were happy to accommodate minor changes and assist in whatever way they could to give us a good experience. We had our handover in November 2022. After 18 months, I can attest to their ability to help and look after us even now. Building with Regent has been a great experience and would definitely recommend them to others.

We made a few very minor tweaks as the build progressed however all of our feedback was taken on board and nothing was too much trouble. Mark Hambour: The display gallery at Rossdale Head office has to be the best in Adelaide. The display area also features a comprehensive assisted living display. Not ready for it yet, but know where to find it.

Rajesh Dasari: Started our Journey of demolishing, sub-dividing, selling half the land and building our home. Initially dropped by at Rossdale Homes offices to have a preliminary conversation. Sagar Wadhwa, our consultant was excellent and spent the time to explore options and came up with a recommendation that worked very well for us. It was one of the best decisions we made.Once the contract was signed. I was provided stages of the build. There were many questions that I was not sure of. Sagar went over and beyond to clarify any questions I had.We are extremely pleased by the build quality. The period of warranty was great. The Rossdale team fixed all the issues that were highlighted within a reasonable timeframe.Build timeline was delayed understandably due to COVID. However, the fixed cost was a great benefit for me as a client when I have heard horror stories of cost increases from other builders. My home was delayed by nearly 6 months where I had to pay for my rental house.Rossdale's communication was friendly and the team try, but it seemed like the staff were overwhelmed with the workload.My recommendation to anyone building their home, please clarify all your questions during the preliminary phases. Try your best not to make changes after build commences. Have patience and be reasonable.In summary, I think the Rossdale team may not be perfect, but I was more than happy with the build quality and would recommend Rossdale to anyone planning to build their dream home.

Highly recommend them as a builder.We had no major issues during the build, and any small issues that arose were rectified quickly with a respectful email. Amritpaul Singh: They are expert in split level design and Fixed price helps a lot when you’re building on difficult site in Woodforde, Hamilton Hill. Our consultant Sagar educated us well throughout the process and acted patiently with our multiple questions.Our site supervisor Stephen paid good attention to quality during construction.We waited a bit longer due to Covid but we are very happy with the outcome and value for money.

chris jones: designs were shown that fit our budget with preferred design shape that could be best reworked for least cost.3. After my wife decided that she wanted greater living room m2 it was found in a cost effective manner.4. aircon specifically chosen? Done!5. Council giving me grief? Daniel stepped in and resolved it.6. I have an issue finding a solution to something that was not part of the building contract, however the issue stops me progressing to next stage. Daniel gave up his Sunday and fixed it.7. A commercial builder I work with looks over the contract, points out questions I SHOULD have asked before signing. Gave me a series of follow up questions for better clarification.Within an hour I had written confirmation of the answers. With further clarification provided by the relevant suppliers. My commercial builder mate was completely impressed.8. I have safety concerns about burglars breaking into the house through normal size windows, smaller size windows were worked out, despite being a non standard idea.9. I have significant delays caused by everyone else who could possibly cause me issues.Daniel has kept me up to date with impacts and outcomes.Would I build in Salisbury city again? NO!Would I sign with GJGARDINER Holden Hill again? After 3 year later, YES.Second Edit: Daniel still answering my calls,3 year later, some thoughts;1. If going to have no carpet, all hard floors, buy a hard floor cleaner, a broom and mop just doesn’t cut it.2. Go the ceiling fans. We didn’t and a year of middle temperatures are annoying as we have to open windows then close for rain/stinking hot weather rapid changes.3. Get built in cupboards in your WIR. We thought we would save money buying from ikea as needed, yeah NO. Yeah real pain, just get built in cupboards.4. Have Daniel include a workshop in your garage, so worth the money.5. Get the water filter to the kitchen mains. Life changing.6. Definitely lighter colour doors/garage doors. We are so happy with ours.7. Ask about insulation on your garage doors.8. Heat pump HWS, just do it! It took 6 people 3 days to overwhelm ours and run out of hot water- solved by adding 2 hours daily to heating times, then switched back when they left.9. After 3 year and several seasons, mid winter outside, walking around in shorts and T-shirt inside, extreme wind/rain/heat/cold? Meh, only change would be to include garage door insulation.10. Ceramic cooktop. Just do it. My worst disaster of a dinner - 2 minutes of cleaning.Build complete.Handover was 24 December 2021. now it's 4 May 2024.A couple of outstanding issues were resolved when the items arrived in Australia - if it's not in country it can't be installed.We had to spend $3000 on blinds due to unforeseen issues with privacy. Back glass sliding door was more revealing than expected, 2 bedroom windows exposed to eavesdropping from 2 story house nearby

E D: Cannot recommend them enough. The staff are wonderful at all levels and tremendously helpful when it comes to any queries for a bit of a beginner like we were.We didn't feel pressured at any point and felt very well treated even during Covid where difficulties preventing standard methods of working were occuring.

Gordon Prescott: Buxton Manor has a range of accommodation options, we chose "Paprika". A charming small building built in 1908, featuring two dbl bedrooms, a lounge, dining area, full kitchen, bathroom with 2 person spa bath and free off street car parking close by. Paprika is set within lovely gardens, with outdoor seating and tables. The property oozes with history, speaking of the grandeur of days gone by. North Adelaide is a quiet, leafy and safe area from where to enjoy a stay in South Australia's capital. Booking in, accessing the property, finding nearby restaurants/eateries, all was easy. Highly recommend.

Situated at the grounds of the Buxton Manor, the Paprika Cottage was one of the most unique accommodations we've ever had the pleasure to experience. Fully equipped with day-to-day necessities and close to numerous restaurants, cafes, and the CBD- this accommodation is central enough for anyone looking for extra activities to do during their stay. Definitely recommended and hope to stay again next time!
