Ian johnson: I can absolutely recommend Hickinbotham's for every step of home building.My experience started with the land purchase, I had been trying to buy land for over 12 months with no luck. The Hickinbothom agent secured a block at the first sale available. Then every step along the path of building they kept me informed of progress and the home was completed within 12 months. Then after completion any minor concerns I had were fixed in the 3 month period after handover. all the staff were very friendly and helpful . I am a very happy customer and feel like I made the correct decision building with them when I here about all the other builders going broke and people loosing their money.

The windows weren't cheap, but considering their size, the complexity involved and their quality, they were very good value.Michael and team were a pleasure to deal with throughout the process. I would definitely recommend Oknalux for a custom window project.

Lynette Arden: I am pleased with the Oknalux windows installed through my house. I had triple glazing on all windows except the front window, which had noise reduction glass. The window at the front on a busy street has made that part of the house change from noisy to liveable. The windows make it much easier to control the interior temperature when I use my ducted air conditioning in both winter and summer. They are particularly effective at keeping in the heat during the winter months. It is around two years since the windows were installed, so I waited some time before making this assessment to test their effectiveness. I recommend Oknalux to others who are considering double glazing.
Victoria Barrow: Great product. Great Service. They put new, double glazed windows in my entire rental property, which made a huge difference to the temperature and look of the house. I was interstate when they installed them and there was a scratch that I wouldn't have seen but they noticed and replaced it without being asked. I would definitely recommend.
Steve Bennett: We installed a very large area of triple glazing to our house a few years ago with Oknalux. The installation was absolutely painless by tradespeople that treated our house like it was their own - there was not a grain of sawdust or rubbish left about. We live in the Adelaide Hills and the glazing has totally removed the need for thick curtains. The house is much cooler in the heat of summer and the wood fire now easily heats the house and the heated area stays warm overnight after the fire has gone out. I can not recommend Oknalux highly enough, their professionalism and product quality are both excellent.
Robert Edge: We have had our double-glazed windows and large sliding door for just on 2 years now and they have made a big difference to the temperature in the rooms they are installed. Also, the improvement in sound deadening is great.The team at Oknalux were great and accommodating also due to the covid restrictions at the time of installation.Overall, a great experience and well worth it, my wife and I are very happy with them.
Trish Conville-Shaw: I have used Oknalux PVC double and triple glazed windows in two houses now. The staff is great and the product is superb. The frames I chose were wood-look to replace old wooden frames and I couldn't be happier about the look. We triple glazed the windows on the front and the soundproofing and heat reduction are great.In one house when I was cleaning the windows for the first time I discovered a flaw. They ordered a replacement and installed it in no time at all.I would highly recommend them, in fact, I have already to several friends.
Ian Lorimer: Over a period of 3 years we have had all the old aluminium single glazed windows replaced with Oknalux PVC triple glazed windows. This has reduced the noise level significantly, we live on a bus route on a hill!!! It's also meant we are warmer in winter and cooler in summer, particularly in the evenings where the west facing windows get the full sun.Dealing with Oknalux has been straight forward and the installations have all gone smoothly. When, after a few months, the french doors weren't closing as well as normal they came and fixed the same day at no chargeGreat people to deal with
David clark: We have had double glazing for several years now and it has proved to be one of the best upgrades to our circa 1980s house we could have made. In both summer and winter the difference is appreciable. The team at Oknalux were first class and the installation was stress free. The doors were so good we decided to replace drafty internal doors with the Oknalux product that had the effect of vastly improving heating and cooling in the rooms we occupy. The other benefit is that the windows reduce external noise and add a sense of calm to our home. Cuba Cat: We had installed three bedroom windows as double glazed and one bathroom windows as triple due to the sun exposure of that side of the house. We also replaced the front and rear doors with uPvc Oknalux units. The windows were to supplement the previously installed Magnitie windows used for sound reduction. Existing timber frame windows were carefully removed and the new uPvc windows installed. The house is well insulated now. Sound reduction is now around 60% which makes life much more liveable being on a main road. High frequency noise is the main item when which is reduced. This is lawn mowers, dog barks etc. The Magnitie is better at noise reduction due to the 10mm thick windows but I would not recommend them for wooden frames. Would I buy Oknalux again? Most definitely and will be replacing one of the Magnitie windows in the Kitchen. P.S uPvc Door noise reduction was not great but after performing a few easy adjustments, high frequency sounds are now greatly reduced. Air drafts now are a thing of the past.

As I suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis in my hands, opening windows can be a challenge, the mechanism of these windows make the process so manageable. Even when there was an issue with one window the dedication of the team in rectifying the issue was outstanding. Monica Cohen: Our experience with Fairmont so far has been very positive. Our sales representative was Luke, he was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and patient with us throughout the process.Our selections consultant was June. June was so patient and kind, offering advice when needed but respecting our personal choices. Selections is a busy and time-consuming process, but June never rushed us and allowed us the time we needed to make our selections.Daniella, Lisa, and Kay guided us through the more complex than usual council approval process. They were highly responsive to our communications, offering reassurance when we worried about missing our handover deadline. Thankfully, everything was approved in time. As we prepare for construction, we remain optimistic that our future interactions with Fairmont will be as favorable as they have been to date.

Waiting process is the hardest tho… however I’ve just had the call for the footings to be laid!!! So far my journey and experience has been good. So far I’m so glad I chose Fairmont Homes.

Phillip T: I have built 4 times before in Adelaide, always with a different builder. This is the second home I've built with Fairmont. The Salesperson was intelligent and was invested in making sure of my needs. Selections was easy due to having a friend with me each time to keep me on track and the Fairmont staff were great. I've communicated with the Build Coordinator a few times by phone and email and always had my queries answered promptly. The house is looking great and I'm happy with the price.

Sophie Mills: So far our experience with Fairmont has been excellent. Our initial consultant made the task of starting our build much less daunting. The 2 days of selections were a delight with us given plenty of time and options for everything. We are currently mid-way through our build and have found the construction stage to be very well planned, with minimal "down time" between trades. We look forward to being in our new home soon!

Moreover, no other builder impressed as much with the quality of design and build. The biggest and most pleasant surprise was despite the obvious quality, it was price competitive when compared to other options in the market.

He kept us fully informed about the stages we'd be going through and so far his estimated timeframes have been spot on.The build price he quoted to us didn't change from the first draft to the contract, except where we made some changes, and these were listed separately.Visiting the array of suppliers will leave you completely exhausted with the number of choices available, but the staff are very familiar with the process and happy to offer opinions when you can't decide on what shape of bathroom tap to go with!

preet kaur: We wanted to demolish and build our new house so we started with visiting display homes. The first display home was Dechellis ' Villeroy' in Old Reynella and than visited multiple homes with different builders for few weeks. Finally we came back to Dechellis because we could not find a good build quality anywhere else that Dechellis homes depict. David our sales consultant who we met in Villeroy was so supportive and patient since the start of the process. He understood our vision and helped us with the plans. Than came the selection process that felt quite overwhelming at the start but all the suppliers with very thorough and guided us in our selections. Last step was our selections interview with Chloe and Tamika for which we were very nervous about as our upgrades went over the limit we were hoping but they both were so patient and talked us through and made last minute changes that we needed. Overall we are very happy with the whole process so far with Dechellis Homes.

Their timeline estimations during the planning phase has been accurate and have been really accommodating to the changes that we wanted to make.
