Power Living Yoga Adelaide: what do users think?

Jeni Watson: Human Kind is the yoga teachers studio, the newbies studio, everyone’s yoga home…. Coming back into the studio for me personally was like coming home. Coming home and back to me….thank you always for being my true north.Thank you Tessa, Triton and your incredible team for creating a space and building community that is truly remarkable and an yoga movement home for so many. Big love x

Crina Solomon: Human.Kind studio is a beautiful, authentic and energetic space with a strong sense of community where you are always welcomed with a smile.I cannot praise enough the teachers. They are exceptional, very knowledgeable and experienced offering a variety of thoughtful flows and ranges of difficulties to suit everyone.Practicing yoga at Human. Kind helps me to reconnect with myself and turn down the rush of everyday life, in addition of course to improving my strength, balance and flexibility.

Peggy S: Have been practicing with these folks for years through their Livestream offerings. Their classes are world-class and so creative! What I love most about the experience is the authenticity of every single teacher and that they make everyone feel welcome and included, even if we join from far away. So happy they keep offering Livestream classes. Can't wait for the next class. xxx

Chloe: I have discovered this studio since 2018. I love coming in the studio every weekend as I can feel a lot of love and community power. If you love yoga and haven’t practice in here before, you must visit this magical place!lot of love from Chloe

Angela Stebbing: . It was so easy & I really appreciate the service you offer. I love doing the classes in person

Liz Young: I’ve been practising with Human.Kind Adelaide City livestream since the pandemic lockdowns. I absolutely love these classes and the teachers, who genuinely care, who always acknowledge and welcome us on Livestream, making us feel included. Great selection of classes, for all levels, highly recommend Human.Kind. It has a very happy place, with highly experienced teachers who challenge you but always encourage you to go at your own pace and look after your body with modifications.

Mateo Corleone: , never would I have thought that an Adelaide-based crew, on the other side of the planet, would get me on board for good.Be it in studio or on the livestream, e-v-e-r-y single human that is part of this project is phenomenal and brings the uniqueness of their practice, worldviews and personality to our getting together moments, those we dedicate to ourselves for our own benefit. Above the quality of the instructors, it is the depth of human interactions, compassion and fertile reflexions I found there that kept me, and keep me, hooked to practice and commitment to self during this very intense part of my professional life that represents a back to studies.Through Human.Kind, I learned to take care of myself so I could take care of others and take care of this world better.I learned to let go and that less is more.Even if words can never do justice to the sense of well-being I feel in this community, it is only fair that for all the love they spread around, I take some of my time to give them some of it back through this review.Thank you for everything you have done and will do. Our bruised world needs more of you.Give these folks a try; it is life changing. Literally.Much love from Montréal,Mathieu x

Silvia Frost: I thoroughly enjoy practicing yoga at Human Kind. I learn something new every time.

Martha Savva: Winter nights are so much better with human kind’s live stream Vinyasa and Yin offerings. Thank you Adam and Becca for tonight’s classes. I feel grateful that I moved and also wrapped up in cosiness.

Sofia Lorenzetti: It has been about one year since I rolled out my yoga mat for the first time, and there could not have been a better place to start my journey than Human.Kind. The studio has an incredible team of experienced and knowledgeable instructors who each offer something unique depending on what your needs and wants are for your practice. Their physiotherapy team are fantastic and have helped me overcome a few injuries. I look forward to each time I practice at Human.Kind, and I'm always welcomed with warmth each time I enter the studio. The livestream options are equally as high quality and a great option for when I'm away from home. Becoming a member at Human.Kind was one of the best decisions I have made for my overall physical and mental wellbeing and I have never looked back.

Cheryl: I loved the experience of moving my body and practicing breathing to connect my mind and body. I forgot to bring a hair band today, but when I asked, Dan was able to give me one.

Tiahni Adamson: Trit has an incredible way of subtly working you harder than you signed up for, while still making you feel calm, connected to yourself and connected to the wider Community. My body feels warmer and stronger, my spine and neck longer, my brain more at ease and my heart dotted with gratitude and love. What a way to spend an hour! Eternally grateful for you and the HK crew, Triton.

sarah macmahon: I have been attending yoga classes for at least 5 years and it is the best yoga studio in Adelaide, one of Australia’s leading studios. All instructors are so well qualified and all offer their own unique practice. I would not practice anywhere else. They know yoga and the physical body as well as the spiritual practice. Thanks Triton and Tessa for starting the business all those years ago.

CloMudrik Movement and Wellbeing: Love the studio’s atmosphere and classes are great!

Tatiana Farley: Such a beautiful yoga class - highly recommend !

Odilia Matei: Great place to practice yoga.

Yoga Spirit Studios: what do users think?

Ali Day: Vani is an absolutely delightful teacher!

Pei Ling Ng: Self loving and self care starts with the Grace of Yoga Wellness Retreat. Vani, Kuldeep, Varsha did a fantastic job in bringing the importance of self-love to the forefront of my physical and mental well-being. Margareth and Anne's sessions "sealed the deal" in the self love game. 100% recommend to do a yoga retreat with Yoga Spirit Studios

Jessica Willis: I attended an amazing yoga retreat with Varni and her beautiful team. Real yoga and meditation with no “wellness” nonsense or pretense. Loved it and inspired to go to the studio for regular classes.

margaretha mutsaers: Recently attended a 3 day retreat hosted by Yoga Spirit Studios at Tara Hills Meditation Centre. This far exceeded my expectations and even 5 days after the retreat I find myself thinking about the atmosphere, laughter shared with hosts, participant's and teachers. It was so well planned and brilliantly executed that I was looking at my work schedule contemplating their next retreat in India shortly. Highly recommend not only the studio but particularly the retreats held by this business. Vani is a wealth of knowledge and it was such a privilege as a teacher myself to attend a retreat and learn so much from a beautiful humble being. The food and cooking lessons were an added bonus that brought a real sense of belonging. Thank you 🙏

Lauren Elborough: A beautiful studio with kind and helpful teachers. The teachers are very accommodating and take the time to offer variations on poses to suit all levels. I love attending the classes and always leave feeling relaxed!

Shannon Åsa: Such a warm welcoming and loving space to share peace and compassion and care for mind body and soul

Judy Johnstone: Thanks for the opportunity to sing your praises. YSS offers a wide range of classes and teachers.I am amazed at the variety of poses and practices the incredibly knowledgeable teachers offer. The venue and atmosphere is brilliant- warm and friendly to all.I so enjoy coming to yoga at YSS

Tom Johnston: So many great things about Yoga Spirit! There's a huge variety of classes throughout the week with very supportive instructors. It's a very welcoming community of people of all ages, and the space is beautiful! Much love to Vani and the team.

David Johns: to advanced. The instructors encourage you to take classes at your own pace and according to your own ability, based purely on what your body needs at that moment. I’ve never felt pressure to be or do anything in particular, all instructors offer support and guidance in a professional nurturing way.

Sharine Madoo: Whether you love yoga and mindfulness, or just want some downtime, this might be the hub for you. Vani and her dedicated team of instructors cater for different levels of yoga to suit your needs. There are also special events, retreats, and much more. The studio is lovely, clean, and has easy access bus and is very close to the city centre. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed✨

Donna Towson: This training was amazing, I highly recommend doing Yoga Nidra training with Yoga Spirit

kay: I tried 3 classes at this studio. Vani who runs the studio is very nice. The Relax class was good, I almost fell asleep. The yin class was ok, too. The vinyasa flow class, wasn't really a vinyasa flow class that you would normally expect....there was very little flow and hardly any sun salutations....more of a hatha class. So if you are after a strong flow class this isn't it.One issue with this studio is that there are two different rooms, the one that you see in the website photos is very spacious, clean, and nice. The other one, not so much, with very old carpet that got my allergies going, unfortunately as this is a heritage, council owned building, it is not something that the studio can address. The props at the studio are relatively new and well maintained.

Dene Iwanicki: Yoga Spirit retreat was a perfect short getaway retreat, with well paced classes and workshops with the most knowledgeable and high quality instructors. Great balance of education, mindfulness and hatha yoga experiences. Thank you so much, I really loved it!

Masha Yaghmaei: Strongly recommended, amazing yoga and meditation experience in the recent retreat. Thank you Vani and all.

Sinead Codd: I went to a Yoga Spirit retreat in the Adelaide Hills and had a wonderful time. The retreat was well thought out. I left feeling so refreshed and inspired. Vani and her team delivered the most wonderful classes filled with a mixture of yoga philosophy, simple practices to use at home that offer health benefits and beautiful soul filling workshops to inspire heart, mind and body. The teachers were all incredible and just beautiful souls. The accomodation was minimal but all one would need when on a spiritual retreat.I visited an ashram while in India over 10 years ago and this retreat had a very similar vibe. It felt very authentic. Thanks Vani & Team x

Preeti Rawat: Great place, very calming. I must commend how neat and how beautiful the ambience is.

VINOD BISHT: Absolutely amazing Yoga centre where you can find peace and useful instructions for healthy life !!Studio is so clean safe hygienicallyTeacher Vani is so knowledgeable in Yog Ashana and MeditationThank you team for our group sessions

Jaslene Anne: Just completed my 6 weeks of beginner course with Vani. It's a whole new experience and thanks to Vani for being an excellent guide and knowledge shared throughout the course.

Breathe Stretch Float: what do users think?

Os - Yoga & Meditation: I recently visited Breathe Stretch Float, and my experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I stepped in, I was welcomed into a calming and serene atmosphere by his lovely owners, Jo and Jim who had everything ready for a truly restorative experience.I tried the float therapy with healing minerals, then a deep meditation inside the Himalayan Salt Cave and it was all absolutely incredible. As I floated effortlessly, I felt all my stress and tension melt away. The sensation of weightlessness allowed me to completely relax and disconnect from the outside world. It was as if time stood still, and I could finally focus on my own well-being.After the sessions, I emerged feeling incredibly refreshed and rejuvenated, both physically and mentally. My mind was clear, my body felt lighter, and I was filled with a deep sense of peace. Breathe Stretch Float provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.If you're looking for a place to truly unwind and recharge, I cannot recommend Breathe Stretch Float enough. It's a sanctuary for relaxation and healing, and I can't wait to return for more sessions! Thanks heaps Jo & Jim

caitlin pratten: This place is amazing! A haven for self care from the moment you step in you are nurtured by the team then rejuvenated in both the salt room and float tank. An out of body experience

Valdas Bijanskas: Today, I had an amazing, relaxing massage in the salt room, followed by a float session in a soothing saltwater bath. The warm, salty water created a sense of weightlessness that made me feel like I was floating in space for an hour. It was an incredibly calming and rejuvenating experience. Highly recommended!

Sonya Noonan: .After the 3rd infection I discussed things with Jim and we decided that I should try going to the salt room each week and see if it would help prevent me from getting infections.Guess what!!!!! I haven’t had one infection this year. I’ve traveled to Cairns and hugged a million people of which some ended up with covid, I traveled on planes, through airports and still didn’t get sick.I guess I’m telling you this story cause I want you all to experience the healing powers of the Salt Room. It will heal your coughs, colds, hay fever, sinus issues, pretty much any lung issue. It is also amazing for relaxing, catching up with friends, napping, meditating, reading, de stressing and many other things.Google benefits of a salt room and read it all or go to the Breathe Stretch Float website.

Timothy Horbury: Flu prevention this works No Hay Fever!

Jo Williss: Absolutely amazing!

Steven Hoepfner: Of everything they offer, the salt room unexpectedly is the most therapeutic resource for me. The space helps settle all of my inflammations, especially working to do with my asthma and allergies. I'm a regular now!

Aaron Byrne: I was lucky to be gifted a float session. The experience was amazing and very beneficial. Jim, one of the owners was very thorough in explaining the benefits that would come from a session however I wasn’t sure it would be as effective as he claimed. My experience was to prove me wrong. It was rejuvenating and everything he stated it would be. I am now looking forward to another session and have been telling others of this experience.

Bec Norton: Having a passion for holistic therapies it's important for me to keep up my own health naturally and that's why I always choose Breathe Stretch Float. I start with the salt tank therapy and end with meditation inhe salt cave. 10 🌟.

Elena Fenton: Beautiful facility, relaxing floating tank experience. Very soothing for muscles, aches and pains. My body felt wonderful afterwards. Thank you very much.

Vincenza Salvati: AMAZING Float TherapyExperience!FULL RELAXATION….Just as I hoped and needed!Well priced in such a welcoming and blissful environment. Felt quite spoilt with their care and attention. Compliments to you Jim & Jo THANK YOU

SHEENA ROSE: Lovely space with easy access. The Salt Cave is so therapeutic and the float and yoga options look 'state of the art'. James provides such wisdom and warmth and definitely makes one want to return!I will definitely be back.

Rob Homes: Finally made the time to go back and do a Float Tank and Salt Room experience after not being back for about 2 years. Why did I not go sooner? What a regret putting it off for so long.I walked in feeling really ordinary, depressed, thoughts racing in my mind and struggling with some stressful times the last few months. After my session I was calm, settled, mind at ease and the afternoon now looked a lot better then it was looking when I walked in.Jim is a great host and has an amazing facility. Thanks for another amazing experience, I won't leave it that long before I return! I promise.Lungs / Chest and throat are all more opened from the salt room. I had forgotten how congested I was until I was writing this. Breathing deeply is so much easier!

Enya Crockford: Salt room was highly relaxing and very helpful for my asthma. Highly recommend!

Daniel Wilczynski: Very relaxing.

Luke Lange: 100% Recommend Breathe Stretch Float to my friends and family already! We booked a float session for the evening and it was magic, can not wait to visit again to help clear the mind

Kevin Ellis: I have floated previously, but this experience was a level above, everything about the equipment the holistic and friendly feel to the place, made me feel at ease. I loved the float experience and they cater for all, an example was previously I tend to keep my head up which causes some tension in the neck, her they provide a support gif the head where I was able to totally relax the neck making the experience much more relaxing. I also had a salt room experience which I loved and overall this is a golden gem which I highly recommend a visit too.

Jules Paternoster: From the very first moment I walked into B.S.F I knew I had stumbled upon something very unique.A space I felt welcome, held and safe within seconds. My first treatment was for a SoulNar session with Jo in the magnificent salt cave - My second visit was a beautiful private Sound Bath in the salt cave to mark a friend's birthday. My third treatment is one that I'm still floating away from - Havening with Jim.When I first asked the question about this healing technique - I knew it would be something powerful. It resonated with me because it is both science based and evidenced. I knew I could trust Jim given his transparency in sharing some of his own experiences and whilst I knew it may be confronting, I was made to feel completely safe, capable and free to be vulnerable.Jim helped me shift a lot - about 3 times as much stuff as I had expected. The session felt insightful and completely taylored to me and my experiences. Guided by a kind soul who matched my energy and did an amazing job in leading me to the answers I've struggled years to find. I urge anyone struggling to let go, or stuck in uncomfortable holding patterns to have a chat with Jim about his offering.

Russell Dent: Such a great space, well worth a visit

John Camm: I recently had the pleasure of visiting Breath Stretch Float in Adelaide, and it was an experience I will never forget. From the moment I entered, I was transported to a world of relaxation, healing, and rejuvenation.Jim Ryan is incredibly attentive, kind, and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the various services from the Salt Room to the Float Tanks.Floatation therapy is a game-changer! The state-of-the-art float pods allowed you to let go of the outside world and immerse yourself in a cocoon of tranquility.Breath Stretch Float is truly a gem in Adelaide. I cannot recommend it highly enough for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and reconnect with themselves. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or completely new to float therapy, you'll find a haven of peace and tranquility at Breath Stretch Float.

Exhale Yoga: what do users think?

Ellen Morris: So grateful to have Exhale Yoga in my life! Always appreciate Rosie’s guidance throughout the class; she is mindful to check in with each person and their progress. I leave every class with a bit more knowledge and awareness of my body.

Mark Dalwood: Exhale Yoga has a class to suit everyone. Whether you are a beginner or more experienced. All the teachers are committed to sharing the yoga experience with students. I can thoroughly recommend this studio.

Anais Gschwind: Rosie’s Saturday morning classes are an absolute salve for the soul in my postpartum haze. I’ve flitted between many variations of practice over the years and I find her class grounding, welcoming, warm and practical. Although I struggle to get myself to class I’m always so grateful I do ❤️

zhang Ying: I go to Tuesday night class. Rosie is great. I feel welcomed and relaxed after every class. Thanks

Rosemary Taylor: Rosey has outstanding knowledge of the mind/body connection. She works with that in a consistent way during the yoga class. She is caring and patient and keeps in connection with all the students in the class and makes suggestions for change. This is particularly important for me as I am suffering from an injury in my shoulderI do recommend Exhale Yoga unreservedly

Jason Mills: Cassie and Rosie always know how to impress. Their deep knowledge of Yoga, the mind, the spirit, and the body will impress you. You’ll keep coming back for more. My partner and I sure do. So get on board and give it a go.I think you’ll love it.Jase 🧘

Kassandra Poulos: Warm. Inviting. You are welcomed into the fold with open arms and while each is there to have their own experience under the watchful eye of someone who can provide guidance and support, there’s a compelling sense of unity also - everyone present is seeking the same empowerment and growth. Just do yourself a favour and go! ✨

Lauren Green: Exhale Yoga studio has a lovely ambience and is easy to access off King William Rd. Pregnancy Yoga and Yoga Nidra with Rosie have been really fabulous classes for both body and mind. Highly recommend 😊💜

kay: I tried a couple of classes at this studio few months ago. The teachers are attentive and classes small. Unfortunately, the building the studio is in is quite old and run down. The classes are mostly gentle, slow flow rather than a challenging vinyasa practice. I think this is probably a good studio if you are a beginner.

helen mathiesen: I have now been to two classes with Justin, and have discovered yet another wonderful yoga teacher. Each brings his/ her own style and I find that I enjoy the variations.

Amy Osborne: Rosie’s classes at Exhale Yoga are the best I’ve experienced. Uplifting, energising & strengthening 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Sabika Jasmine: I has such a great start of my weekend with the Saturday morning class with Rosie. It’s not only a yoga class but mindfulness and positive affirmations which was so helpful to unwind the stress of life in general and also the stress of the week. Rosie’s knowledge about connecting with our own body and experience with the various body parts and what is actually going on with our system internally, helps so much to aide the external aches and pains. Really beautiful experience and looking forward to continue.

Kirsten Bernhardt: Beautiful relaxing class. Rosie was very attentive to each of us during the practice.

Nicole Crawford: I wasn’t sure what to expect! It was beautiful 🤩 meditation - emotional for me! I needed it to address some feelings! Which it did ! Thank you Rosie xx

Susan Handsworth: Wonderful classes. Great relaxation and stretching. Especially hips and core. Greatly Recommended.

Angela Valamanesh: Great teachers and wonderful spacious studio 😊

Alazne Alberdi Alvaro: I LOVE Rosie’s prenatal/postnatal classes and the vibe at Exhale yoga. It’s my happy place! The place I’ve learned how to relax for real. Rosie’s is very knowledgeable and generous guiding us how to take care of our body, mind and emotional wellbeing. She asks each of us what we need at the beginning of the class and tailors the practice to our particular needs.

Eclipse Hot Yoga: what do users think?

Alex Hawthorn: Before I comment on the studio, I’ll give some info about myself - I’m not thin, not fit or flexible, I’m gender diverse, neuro diverse, and not really the strongest believer in spirituality. From the very first session, I’ve felt welcomed and accommodated, and not once have I been made to feel out of place or like I wasn’t yoga-ing good enough. The instructors encourage you to take classes at your own pace and according to your own ability, based purely on what your body needs at that moment. There has never been any pressure to be or do anything in particular, only support and guidance. I even tried a couple of other studios closer to my house, and ended up back here.I’m not sure what I was expecting when I took the leap and tried yoga for the first time, but my experience at this studio has been nothing but positive for my physical and mental wellbeing, and I have no plans to stop coming along to classes. If you’re curious to try yoga, leave your apprehension at the door and give Eclipse a try.Edited to update - it’s been 18 months since my first class, and I still come along 1-2x a week most weeks. The new Marleston space is gorgeous and very welcoming.

Lina Stefanopoulos: We all love Katie

Laura Marafioti: Great teachers who have created such a safe space. Always thankful for my practice.

Renee Zoe Jeannette Deschenes: I was lucky enough to attend Eclipse as a member for 7 months and I can't express how much the studio brought exactly what I needed, exactly when I needed it most. Eclipse's classes were always there to keep my feet on the ground. Stephanie's cohort of instructors teach in such a way that each of their classes feel unique and authentic to them. It is a sight to behold, and they make it look and feel effortless. A sincere thank you to the beautiful Eclipse team and this very special place! I hope our paths will cross again soon!

Sonja Maus: The most inviting studio with sessions emanating warmth, expertise, flexibility and enthusiasm. Class selection during the week and their times are excellent. The instructor are attentive and always open & smiling.

Kelly Tomney: Love this place ❤️ Teachers are amazing.

Conor Nunn: My partner and I joined in on the intro pass then had to keep coming back. All instructors are carefully vetted, highly knowledgeable educators. The eastern wisdom slotted in while I’m struggling to hold some challenging pose or another is always timely.

Jacquie Chellew: Great vibe with friendly, helpful teachers. Always feel welcome and supported

Rosie O'Loughlin: Such a beautiful space and Steph has the most amazing, calming approach to her practice!

Adi L: Gorgeous space with a variety of classes. I always leave feeling nurtured and at peace.

Adriana Sapio: Eclipse is a beautiful and intimate studio and teachers have fostered a safe and welcoming space. Thank you for welcoming me into your cozy little community

Apryl Koch: The Eclipse yoga space, the instructors and owner Steph and all as equally beautiful as each other. Eclipse is my favourite yoga space to practice in and Steph offers so many amazing workshops on top of the variety of classes per week. I cannot recommend this studio enough!

Chloe Ellis: A calming space with welcoming, friendly teachers. Classes to suit all levels. Love the variety of styles on offer.Positive Quality …
