Kylie Heritage: We hosted my Sister's Hens Night at Hotel Richmond for Dinner and then used their private room to host a Burlesque class with our nearest and dearest.Lizzie was so fantastic at her job and looked after us so well from booking to even on the night. The venue is so classy and gorgeous & conveniently located in the city + the food was delicious, the service team were excellent and we just had an absolute blast! Thank you and we'll be back!Food & drinks: Delicious food at very reasonable prices!

Bel Harper: We had pre dinner drinks b4 ONG on Rundle. The wine n beer went down well. The attitude of Sophie to bar tender put a stop to that, shouting across the bar, twice. Small??? Then proceeded to literally throw the atm machine at me...this was after I interrupted her chatting with a colleague, a fill line of customers at the bar, my partner bought a beer..paid..then was told 'your welcome ' even before he had nano second to say thanks, with the implication that thanks was not in his dialogue. Sophie might be better suited further west...say Woolshed.

Nicolle Harvey: This venue was the most perfect setting for our special day! Highly recommended for any brides/grooms out there wanting the perfect reception location! With beach views and gorgeous sunsets in the heart of Glenelg, why wouldn't you. The food was amazing and the selection of drinks was great. The events team ensured the night ran like clockwork and there was plenty of parking and accommodation close by for guests.

The location and the room is fantastic and the view is breathtakingly beautiful but the biggest highlight would have to be the amazing staff. They were absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They went over & beyond being helpful. Their attention to detail was impeccable and they were all so lovely. Rebecca, Kelsey, Aine & all the staff working that night all should be highly commended for their professional manners & work ethic. It was all perfect, the food was delicious and looked like it came out of the master chef kitchen. I would highly recommend this venue for any special occassion.it will certainly be a memorable experience. Thank you all very much

There was plenty of room between tables and we were able to talk easilyThe food was delicious; the staff bubbly and service spot on.We had a fabulous night, our first visit, but it won’t be our last.

Franco Minoski: Went there yesterday for my uncles 100 birthday. In a private vaulted room with a beautiful view out the windows. The food and service from the 3 gentlemen looking after us was exceptional. The food was 5 star from entrees to dessert. Could not fault this restaurant. Very happy to recommend and next time in Adelaide will definitely be going back. Our group had a great day and my uncle had a beautiful day.

It’s a fine dining restaurant but I had better elsewhere. The barramundi was delicious but the white sauce was a bit too heavy so I couldn’t finish it. I had the prawns as a starter. The pastry wasn’t fluffy and crunchy as I imagined it. My husband had the venison and the sauce was a bit too sweet. The vegetables tasted well but a bit greasy. So the food I’d say was average for a fine dining in Adelaide. But overall it was a pleasant experience. Thank you

Fev Simatos: We have been visiting HoC for over a decade. Tonight was the best it has been in a while. New menu, same favourite dishes. Crispy Duck pancakes, best crispy duck ever. Everything was fresh and delicious. Service was excellent, quick and attentive. Atmosphere was great. Not too busy but not quiet. Overall we just had a great dinner. So happy new ownership are succeeding for this institution!

I sit on the balcony enjoy a cigar and a couple of beers, it's great to escape the crowds every now and then.Update: I just heard this place is closed forever. Another great bar leaves Adelaide. Adelaide is now becoming like other capital cities, it's lacking variety, and all the bars are looking the same. I once loved Adelaide, now I avoid it.

Lucas Hutchinson: We got our Wedding cake from How Sweet It Is.We initially purchased a flavour sample box and found it hard to narrow down which flavours to select, as they were all fantastic!We ended up deciding on hazelnut chocolate and white chocolate strawberry.The cake was delicious! We had so many compliments on the cake from guests.We would highly recommend!
Claire Nash: I cannot praise highly enough the cake that Stephen created for our wedding. We chose lemon, dark choc and raspberry and mixed berry and white choc. The cake sponge itself was incredibly moist and light. The fruit flavours tasted so fresh and were perfectly balanced with the buttercream. Our guests were raving about the cake! Stephen was also lovely to work with and answered any questions we had. Would absolutely go back to How Sweet It Is for any cakes in future.

David Eccles: Pros: Nice looking and well placed venue. Food was good and staff were friendly for our seminar. After being asked they remembered to put out soy milk reliably. Water at the tables was refilled in between every break at the seminar.Cons: I found the lights were too 'warm' for a conference, which was occasionally hard on the eyes, but may be better for a wedding. The projector was a touch subpar and definitely lost critical detail on a few slides with diagrams. The food was generally reasonable but they missed my vegan dietary preference and had no options on one of the later days.EDIT on 6/6/24 - no worries, I understand there are multiple sides chains in a link. I response to the explanatory n prompt response from the owner I have popped the rating up from 3 to 4 stars. have a good day.

Terry Nicolitsis: We came in around 10pm, and the venue was already busy, there must have been at least 12 people waiting, I can tell you we didn't even wait long, host was very welcoming and offered us a table, drinks followed not long after, bar snacks were just what we needed, great service and big smiles. Ash Worthington: Awesome place for a casual Sunday brunch. Great coffee and great food from an interesting menu. Almost like a little Speakeasy - most wouldn't know it was there from the street, but enter through an unassuming sliding industrial door and emerge into a vibrant, packed and buzzing cafe. I would have given them a 6/5 for the food if only the couldn't resisted the current trend to put kale on every menu.

Most dishes are gluten free and they provide an easy to use guide listing every dish and its associated dietary information, so knowing what to eat and what to avoid is fairly simple if you have restrictions.
Scott Godfrey: What to say about this place apart from wow. Went here for my 40th birthday I had heard so much about this place and it did not disapoint. We had a drink in the bar part first. Such a lovely aear to sit and wait for your booking time. The drink prices are realy good compared to every where else.We sat at the table the lovely lady told use how it works love the green light red light thing. I said to my wife We won't need the red light there's no such thing as to much food. I was wrong We uesd the red light a fare bit. I'm calling it a food party the sides came out and all of them are so tasty and would be the best potato salad I have ever had. Then the meat started to come out and wow I love bbq meat and this is next level so so so much meat then after the first round you. CAn just keep asking for what you liked.We haven't seen the price before hand and once they said that side was unlimited and all the meat we thought easy over $100 each looked on line and was shocked how cheap it was. 10 out of 10 for everything at this place food,service, vibe, all staff are professional and friendly shout out to Leo who served us the most. Consuelo Maiorana: Fantastic cuisine and staff. The place is truly original and welcoming. The owner let us taste the homemade myrtle liqueur....really special! Steve Prisco: This place is a word of mouth success story. If you want to know what restaurants are like in Italy, then this is it. Great vibe, warm atmosphere and staff make you feel like old friends. The dishes are REAL Italian and not fusion or "Italian inspired", in other words terrific and made with the most authentic components available. Credit as well to these guys for not charging the ridiculous and pretentious booking fees a lot of Italian restaurants are slugging diners these days in Adelaide. Try the Polenta or Pasta Melanzane or Ragu. Beautiful stuff.
