Amanda Hudswell: I’ve tried for years to get relief from an injury - tried, chiros, physios, massage, but have never had great success, until I did a series of personal pilates sessions with Melissa Laing. Her understanding of how the body connects, and how different parts affect others is truely comprehensive, and has resulted in a vast improvement to my condition.

Brooke Zabrowarny: . I couldn’t have been more wrong. The 1:1 assessment and the introductory session with Leanne was illuminating! Everything is done in a way that provides a great workout for the areas that need it, with consideration for your body and injuries. There are only four people to an equipment class so the instructor is very attentive and you get a personalised session. My only regret is not doing this sooner!

Emma Kohlhagen: Queen st Pilates is an excellent pilates studio that I have been going to regularly for the past few months for equipment pilates and physiotherapy sessions. The staff are all great, very knowledgeable and friendly and the studio is beautiful with lots of space. In the equipment classes you always get personal attention and the instructors make sure to keep improving your skills and strength and switch up the exercises to keep the classes interesting. The physiotherapist Luke is also great to go see for releasing tight muscles and nerve pain and he gives good advice on exercises to do at home. I highly recommend Queen st Pilates studio.

Jo Spargo: The Simple Everyday is an oasis of calm in this world. I have been working on my strength and flexibility with Magda and her team off and on for 15+ years. The improvement to my physical health and wellbeing is imersurable. Small class sizes, expert instructors, reformers and a weights area. I could never go back to a regular gym! Each workout can be tailored to how your body is feeling to maximise the effectiveness of your session. Magda is also able to help with nutrition and many other areas of your health journey too. They told me how to protect my knees and helped me adjust the pilates positions to avoid any injuries. Getting up early is a struggle, but every time I finished my morning class, I felt younger haha. I really love this pilates studio but I wasn't able to find a room to rent nearby the city. Now I live in a house that is tooooooooooo far for me to attend classes. I really love and miss the trainers here, especially Alicia, Brianna, Kirsty, and Petra!!! Hope to join the classes again!

She has a lot of knowledge and spends the time explaining to you what she is about to do and the best step’s moving forward to help your recovery.

yashodha madusanka: Highly recommended. I have been seeing Joel for my lower back pain for few months now and he did an amazing job in my recovery, using both exercises and dry needling. They take time to properly assess the conditions and create individual care plans. Charlotte in the reception is very friendly and professional and helped me with last minute appointments.

Sharron Dupree: I have only be going to Glow for 5 classes. Last Saturday I had a class and straight after I did gardening and moved around 20 wheelbarrows of mulch and spread onto my garden beds... normally the next few days I would have been very sore and hard move.. but the following day I felt great.. I can only put this down to the strengthening and guidance I have been receiving from Gabby and Glow.

Rani Kulinski: Each session I leave feeling relaxed and better about my body. Not only are the treatments great but I also always leave with new knowledge and exercises for my own management. Everyone can benefit.

Gabby's Bowen Therapy treatments really work wonders – unlike many other physios and massage therapists, she takes a holistic approach that treats the causes – rather than the symptoms – of muscle tension and pain. Her methods are grounded in a deep knowledge of the human anatomy, and the atmosphere she creates in her studio is very conducive to creating a space to let go of the stress of everyday life. I couldn't recommend Glow Pilates enough, so it's very disappointing to see a number of fake one-star reviews from people who clearly have never even been inside the studio and experienced what this place has to offer.

The GLOW team has helped me through so much over those years including after a fractured leg from a car accident. There is no way I could have made such a good recovery without the strength I had already built up through Pilates, and then the on-going rehab and therapeutic treatments at GLOW. This is far more than just an exercise studio. It’s a peaceful place of learning, meditation, therapy and pampering.

Her classes offer just the right level of cardio challenge while always prioritising mindful practice and tuning into your own body. What I love most is how she tailors each session to suit everyone's individual needs, creating a supportive atmosphere without ever pushing anything on anyone. The studio has a great range of different classes available, class sizes are small and instructors offer alternatives for every level. Highly recommend Eastside!

Deb Hattingh: Today I attended my first class, and it was fun, dynamic, warm and not as scary or difficult as I imagined. It was great to get an aerobic workout, nice stretches and good strength building and wasn't a class you felt is too long. I felt good that I could work at my level and wasn't pushed or expected to be expert level. So I could work to my body and strength which is awesome. The warm room is also a bonus especially for cold winter. I will go again. 💪

Isabella Tobiszewska: Eastside is such a great community and offers so many amazing classes. I absolute LOVE Belinda's energy in the hot room and I always feel so great afterwards. The instructors always pay individual attention to make corrections to my technique if needed despite it being a group class. If you're looking for a studio you can feel comfortable in this is honestly the place to go. I've never felt so cared for and welcomed to a community before the way I have at Eastside. The best part is that I have seen a massive difference in my body and have really toned up. 11/10 recommend, you won't be disappointed!

Karen Lynch: A great team of highly skilled instructors who adapt classes to suit all ability levels. The heated classes leave you feeling reenergised, great for the body, mind and skin. All ages are welcome which is something I was looking for to start my fitness journey!
