Brett David: Four Oaks has to be one of the nicest country venues in Adelaide Hills. Massive thanks to our wonderful and accomodating hosts Sue and Doug who allowed our Four Oaks country Music festival to take over the set for the day - everybody had a magical time including friends, families and children. The mix of great music, food, kids pony rides, fire truck rides within the beautiful manicured farm setting made for a perfect day out - we look forward to doing it all again soonest.

There are lots of activities that kids and even adults would enjoy - horseriding, pony riding, fire engine ride on a mini van. There are birds, pony, horses, ducks in the farm. A ground for football or cricket, barbecue hut, hall for indoor events, toilet facility. Good parking space as well. It's a nice place. Highly recommended.

In the end apart fro a little thunder and spring rain the day turned out great. Olivia Oates: I recently spent a night in the beautiful barn loft accomodation and could not recommend it highly enough! The space is perfect and has everything you could want in an Airbnb, the location absolutely took my breath away, from the entrance driveway to the vast gardens, vineyards, views and even cows! The bed was one of the best I have ever slept in and omg that bathtub!! I can only imagine how perfect it is here for weddings, I hope to come back as a wedding guest one day so I can see it all decked out! Highly highly recommend if you are looking for a unique stay in Adelaide, you won’t be disappointed! Brie & Billy have put so much love and care into the space and the experience and it truly shows. Thanks for a wonderful stay guys I will be back!!

Audrey Gilrain: I booked here for something a little different for our 4 days in Adelaide over Christmas. We loved it. We arrived on Christmas day and the owner went out of her way to being us a "care package" with turkey and roast vegetables so that wed have something to eat on Christmas night. It was so appreciated. The room was really unusual and so spacious. The bed and bedding was super comfortable and the breakfast is completely worthwhile. Fabulous bacon, free range eggs and tomato - it was great to be able to get up and make our brekkie in our room when we were ready and to just chill out. The gardens are just fabulous - you can see the time, love and care that the owners have put into them over many years to create the wonderful ambience and environment. I loved the pool - which was heated and lovely to swim in. The whole stay was very relaxing and I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

Thank you for making my son and daughter-in-law's wedding such a beautiful evening.As a coeliac I want to extend an extra note of appreciation. I never eat out anymore but my DIL after checking your venue assured me that you could safely cater for me, with your seperate kitchen, accreditation and experience. The food was absolutely delicious! Our waitress introduced herself and assured me that my meal would be safe and she reassured me a couple of times during the night. My menu was printed slightly different to highlight all allergens. Nothing was too much trouble. This is the only time that I have eaten other than in a 100% GF venue and not felt stressed. Thank you so very very much!

Peter Stokes: We had the wedding of our dreams with our ceremony at "The Landing" and reception at "The Coach House". Mariyah was an absolute gem. We had a couple of meetings in person to talk through the different options and then do all our selections. Every discussion was clear, and she'd follow up any questions with prompt email replies. She provided an excellent spreadsheet that helped cover everything from run sheets, floor plans, guest lists, seating plans, menu, suppliers and decor. This was so helpful to us when it came to doing our seating chart, organising times with our DJ/MC and photographers, and doing our bonbonnieres. Our 2 year old son has a food allergy of egg, milk and soy, and Mariyah went the extra step to personally work with the chefs at Sunnybrae to find a suitable alternative for our son's meal, and we a truly so grateful that she went above and beyond to the extent of custom ordering a different type of chicken nuggets that he was able to eat on the day.We can't thank Mariyah enough for making the whole process seamless and stress free, we are so grateful for having you as our wedding coordinator and will be forever thankful for your personal touches that made the day even more special.

David Eccles: Pros: Nice looking and well placed venue. Food was good and staff were friendly for our seminar. After being asked they remembered to put out soy milk reliably. Water at the tables was refilled in between every break at the seminar.Cons: I found the lights were too 'warm' for a conference, which was occasionally hard on the eyes, but may be better for a wedding. The projector was a touch subpar and definitely lost critical detail on a few slides with diagrams. The food was generally reasonable but they missed my vegan dietary preference and had no options on one of the later days.EDIT on 6/6/24 - no worries, I understand there are multiple sides chains in a link. I response to the explanatory n prompt response from the owner I have popped the rating up from 3 to 4 stars. have a good day.

Kathy Nygaard: For Mother's Day, my two beautiful daughters & families bought me a High Tea voucher. Their families also bought them one each, so we booked in today for 12noon. My first time visiting. What an amazing, beautiful place to have a High Tea, lunch, dinner or just a get together. Wonderful, well dressed, happy staff. We were taken to a warm pleasant room with an open window area. All rooms have a wood fire, so on this cold day, it was very cosy.Our food was presented beautifully & tasted amazing. The only criticism we had, was the thick coffee cups on a saucer was what we were going to drink our lovely tea from !! What happened to a china cup for tea ? Pots were also made of heavy pottery. For the price, it is good value but big points lost for this type of service. Must change for this high quality restaurant.

S G: Simply Magical!We are just back from a magnificent long weekend at Mount Lofty House. Mt Lofty House is a luxury hotel with many welcoming spaces to enjoy. Our rooms were beautiful and included everything you would expect in a luxury hotel. But what made our stay stand out is the 5 star service from the Mt Lofty House team. The staff made us genuinely feel welcome and that they were keen to deliver the long weekend stay we wanted. Our stay started with Shaun from Reservations putting together a package of activities and bookings tailored exactly to what we wanted to do. And then these happened effortlessly over the weekend. Thanks Shaun, it was a delight to work with you to put together our weekend. We loved the hotel history tour run by Chris, make sure you take it when staying. Chris made us feel very welcome anytime we saw him over the weekend. Thanks Chris, we are big fans of the champagne cocktails! Our weekend included some time at the fabulous Gatekeepers Day Spa. Thanks to Claire for an outstanding massage, it was the perfect way to end a day after walking in the Mt Lofty Summit national park nearby. We also want to say a big thank you to the staff in the Piccadilly Panorama breakfast restaurant who are delightful and made sure we enjoyed the delicious breakfast each day and the staff in the Hardy's Bar and Lounge for their warm service and tasty dinner. Staying at Mt Lofty House is a must-do luxury experience with all that the Adelaide Hills has to offer on your door step.

Janet’s Journey: Highly recommended!! We had such a great day here, for all ages. A very family friendly place to spend a day to paint some pottery.Entrance is free, aprons and paint are included for use on the day, just pay for your pottery price before you start painting.There is no time limit to how long you stay, you could take all day to finish your piece, or if you run out of time, it is possible for to return on another occasion to complete painting your piece.The restroom is roomy and pram / accessible friendly.There is a toddler play room as well should the little ones that don’t want to sit and paint.The cafe is reasonably cheap and offers the simple hot snacks and drinks.Party rooms available for bookings.Staff are so friendly and helpful.Pram friendly entrance from the rear.Ample street parking.

Rebecca Tompkins: made a plaster version of our cat. I painted a rainbow fridge magnet with the kiddo's help. The paints are water based acrylic. Painting smocks are available. Your work of art is sprayed with your choice of top coat to protect it and give that finish. EFTPOS and cash payment available. A small cafe with reasonably priced food and drink available. If you need to pick up some groceries after, the Drake Supermarket is next door. It was a fun few hours to spend creating memories.

Shae Desmet: We booked Ten22 for our May 2024 wedding way back in August of 2021. Our wedding is four weeks away and we could wait to write our review. Nat has made the entire process so smooth and the opposite of stressful. She’s always available via email or phone for any questions, and is always full of ideas and ready to reassure you. She genuinely wants you to have the BEST time. We are so excited to try Dave’s food, as we are massive foodies and so are our guests! We booked this venue because we didn’t want a tradition wedding with fancy ceviche and two more courses the groom wouldn’t eat. We wanted real yummy tucker and we cannot wait.Another thing I love about booking with Nat and Dave is you don’t just get a venue, there are options for literally everything to be organised for you! Food, styling, flowers…they have it all! We can’t wait for our special day!

The staff were also very friendly and professional on the night and Nat and Dave have just been so amazing and caring from the beginning. You can really tell the care and thought they put into each event.We had our engagement/surprise wedding party here, and it was all so seamless. Hiring and decorations were done in-house by Ten22 Creative - they had so many things to choose from that worked so perfectly in the venue. The fairy lights & floral with neon sign was perfection in the photos.The food was incredible - we had a grazing table + pizza, and there was plenty to go around. The two things people have commented on since that night was how beautiful the venue was, and how good the food was. No one went hungry!Again, thank you so much Nat & Dave for helping us have the best night and making everything so easy; you're amazing!
