David Parlavecchio: was overcooked, but you could feel it was a good cut and of good quality.My partner's gnocchi were also good.It is located in the center of Adelaide so it is easy to reach by public transport, but difficult to find parking nearby.Vegetarian options: There are various choices for vegetarian dishes, pasta, salads and various vegetables.
Mark Roman: . The dish is described as being between 400-500g and cooked to my liking. I wish I'd taken a photo now because the meat was definitely on the lower end of the weight scale, and I reckon it'd be hard pressed to even be 400g. In addition it was overcooked, but that wasn't a major drama. Not as tender as it's been in the past, but tasty. Parlamento is always busy, so it's not like they were dealing with an extra large group that strained the kitchen resources, but I was a tad disappointed in the meat dish, especially, given it's now $52 which had a decent increase from the previous visit. I could have bought this same steak from a local pub for $35, so at $52, it should be without question. The lamb loin chops and pasta dished served to my companions were to the usual standard.Wheelchair accessibility: Given the smallish nature of the restaurant, arriving in a wheelchair without advance notice is not advised. In addition, there's not a lot of room between tables.
MK: We dined at Parlamento twice while in Adelaide last May. The first time our experience was so special and delicious we went back the next evening. Food and service were excellent. Rafael and the team made us feel like we were VIPs. Then on the morning we were flying home we were looking for a good coffee and we’re so happy to see Parlamento was open just for a coffee! Again 5-star service and best coffee! Grazie Rafael and team, when next in Adelaide we will be back.
Silvano Porcaro: Visited Adelaide this week after a long absence. I had been to Parlamento on previous visits and was always impressed with the food and service. I went for dinner on Tuesday evening and ordered the spaghetti marinara and a mixed spirit to drink.The order was promptly placed and the drink quickly arrived with a basket containing bread and butter. The butter was at room temperature so easily spreadable.I had some friendly discussion with Ralph, one of the owners of Parlamento whilst waiting for the marinara. It didn't take long for it to arrive and the aroma was simply mouth watering! The dish was spectacular - spaghetti perfectly 'al dente' and an abundance of fresh mixed seafood. A beautiful rose coloued sauce brought it all together. It was really good!If you live in Adelaide or are just visiting, I can definitely recommend Parlamento as a good home style italian restaurant.Thanks Ralph and the team. I look forward to my next visit.

TWM: Loved the experience after many years and great past memories. I visited for lunch last week and it was truly exceptional. Beautiful menu with a focus on local produce backed by a solid wine list. Service was attentive and unobtrusive. The setting is just perfect especially for lunch with a bright and airy atmosphere. I’m already looking forward to coming back when I’m next in Adelaide.

Oliver Townsend: Me and my husband Antonio were sittiing peacefully until what we thought was a server came up to us and asked what we wanted my husband ordered a salad and I ordered a pasta, instead of writing down our order rthe little guy opted to tell me what the capital of Peru was he then asked if we wanted to know another fun fact. I said no but he proceeded to tell me what the 79th digit of pi was. Not impressed. Food was good though 5 stars

We enjoyed a long lunch, selecting the ‘feed me’ menu, which allowed us to sample several shared dishes, which we complemented with brilliantly recommended wines and rounded off with divinely crafted cocktails. 2KW excelled in every aspect of the culinary journey, however the absolute standout was the customer service provided by the front of house team, in particular Lisa, who delivered outstanding attention to detail, expertly balanced with knowledge, warmth and professionalism. It is evident that the team at 2KW take great pride in their work, and this translates to a superior dining experience in every aspect. 👏👏

Ten Ton: The chefs here are a combination of both artists and scientists. This is not food served here, but beautiful and perfectly balanced taste stimulants whose flavours both confound and delight in their complexity. The best of which come before the maron, with the exception of the emu which is prepared in a way that patriotically rival the world’s best meats. Thanks to the excellent service, this is an exceptionally sophisticated experience and should be sampled by anyone who has the means. This experience would be best in the summer where twilight would allow visualisation of the garden surrounds and the preference for more sophisticated garden lighting, especially in the winter, is this restaurant’s only criticism. Bravo to the entire team.
Tim Quinney: A very unique experience.As the name suggests Botanics is definitely the theme of this restaurant and it's menu. Which personally I found to be at times challenging.Over the course of a few hours which never felt rushed, a very wide range of dishes were fed to us. There were none that were too difficult to palette but some that were a bit more floral than I perhaps was used to.The larger protein portions were all very tasty but I would say on the smaller end of fine dining tasting experiences.Overall I walked out feeling a little confused. It was certainly interesting but maybe not what I would say is delicious. Well worth the experience however.

Frankie Lam: Cutting edge technique and creativity in using Australian local produces. Have both looks and favours. Very enjoyable 4 hours, do not think any other restaurant produce anything that can match this.Downside is service at the beginning, seems the bar and kitchen do not commute well and make it feel bit rush.Anyway, this is last week run by Justin James, will see if the new chef can maintain and improve the reputation.

Bob Elliott: Restaurant botanic should be rated as AAAAA. It really is a once in a life time experience.The friendly greeting by Tom and Ruby. Removing our coats and umbrella. The detailed explanation of the experience we were to have was first class.Each dish was beautifully presented with local shrubs, leaves, rocks from the botanic gardens being used to high light wash dish.If Tom or Ruby were not giving a detailed explanation one of the many excellent chefs were out.There were 29 diners on the night and the whole experience took 4 hours.I am already saving the pennies to go again.Well done

David Eccles: Pros: Nice looking and well placed venue. Food was good and staff were friendly for our seminar. After being asked they remembered to put out soy milk reliably. Water at the tables was refilled in between every break at the seminar.Cons: I found the lights were too 'warm' for a conference, which was occasionally hard on the eyes, but may be better for a wedding. The projector was a touch subpar and definitely lost critical detail on a few slides with diagrams. The food was generally reasonable but they missed my vegan dietary preference and had no options on one of the later days.EDIT on 6/6/24 - no worries, I understand there are multiple sides chains in a link. I response to the explanatory n prompt response from the owner I have popped the rating up from 3 to 4 stars. have a good day.

The coffee is consistently good, but it's the exceptional hospitality that sets it apart from other coffee shops in the area. The staff is always friendly, engaging, and welcoming. Special mention to Hannah and Mathilda for making every visit a pleasure, as well as former staff members Anna, Molly, Mathilda, and Eloise, who have all contributed to the warm atmosphere. My daily coffee routine is definitely a highlight of my day!

Paul Kitching: My wife and I decided to have a night away in our own town and this was perfect - brilliant to be so well located to everything. Easy check in and great service. Lovely room too with the loft set up - loved the high ceilings and no issue having the bed upstairs. Massive comfy bed... Lovely team members at every turn. Drinks at bar not cheap but worth it... then a nice easy stroll to dinner nearby... and loved the late 11am check out + fact we could leave our bag there for the day whilst we spent the day in town... so overall yes this was brilliant and would book again. ta!

It’s stylish with art nouveaux design that oozes comfortable luxury unlike many boring hotels that I find lack personality.The rooms are lovely, beds super comfy, showers almost too good-I didn't want to get out! Then there's the bath- it's deep and has a waterfall tap, absolute bliss to have a relaxing soak in after a stressful day. Another thing I really love is their vanity. It's actually a decent length, you can happily display all of your various make-up, hair & toiletry items easily. This is incredibly rare and you're often lucky to have enough room for a toothbrush and have to keep moving toilet bags from the floor..we'll, not here😁 Plus the bathroom light has a dimmer and one of those reversible make-up magnifier mirrors.The chaise lounge finishes off the room nicely with the only potential thing I can think of that wasn't perfect was that I walked into the overhanging light a couple of times but really, it wasn't a problem and I loved the light fixture and table set-up.The staff were all lovely and really helpful and the Manager was great to talk to. Even the cleaning staff happily greeted me whenever I saw them.Make sure you try a complimentary chocolate orange shot while you're there. You help yourself and it's just the Reception desk. It's so rich & delicious and again, another lovely extra touch.The cocktails from the bat were also great and although I didn't get the chance to dine in their restaurant-Luna, it has a great local reputation for breakfast as well as lunch/dinner.I loved everything about this hotel.😁Safety: I went online to an Adelaide group and asked about safety walking around at 7am. Toni Alroy: Stayed for three nights to attend a conference. I’m a lover of all things Art Nouveau so found the decor perfect. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful, keen to share local knowledge and give advice to a first time Adelaide visitor. I was upgraded to a suite which was very unexpected. Bed was dreamy and bathroom was luxe. Hope I get to visit again. Thankyou for a wonderful stay!

Pejman Babaei: Great taste of food in such a cosy restaurant. We visited this place on a special occasion, and we enjoyed having a nice and tasty dinner. We asked to be sited beside the window which had an amazing view of colorful sky. "Scotch Fillet" & "Seared Kangaroo Loin" were more than tasty as main courses along with delicious entrée and dessert. The staff was super friendly and tried her best to deliver the best customer service.

Dyan Higgs: The restaurant is beautiful inside just need a bit more lighting to read menus. The mains were delicious I do recommend the wagyu rump and adobo chicken. The salad was dressed well too. We had the buffalo mozzarella as a starter it said chilli on the menu we couldn’t taste any it needed a little more zing. Overall we had a great time and would visit again
Chen Angel: The food, service and environment are very comfortable.The appetizers are delicious, kingfish yummy.The pasta is very special and has a very chewy texture.In addition, the staple beef is super delicious, and the fried onions go well with it.The tiramisu for dessert was also good but very sweet.Meal time is 6-9:30, very full.For a meal of 7 people, I had the impression that two bottles of white wine were opened, and the cost was about 750 Australian dollars.
Ben Anastassi: My wife and I wanted a date lunch Press* did not disappoint. We had a bottle of French wine which was described perfectly for us by the waiter and we were seated in a very nice spot where we could enjoy our time and chat together. We shared all of our dishes and the staff were so attentive and always cleared the dishes and wiped the table between serves. All flavors were great but the stand out dish was the kangaroo tartare the flavour was unexpected and amazing. Thankyou to the staff that looked after us and I apologise for not getting names to put in this review.
Coreen Taylor: We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It had been a really tough previous 24 hours and our waitress Lulu was exceptional. She made our experience lovely, knowledgeable of the menu too. We loved the fresh oysters, our small plates of tuna and pork skewer, amazing kangaroo tartare and mains barramundi and the abodoe chicken with a side of Brussel sprouts was fresh and tantalising. We were fortunate enough to have fantastic weather which allowed the roof to be open on the rooftop which enhanced the atmosphere further. Foil Me: We held our Foil Me 10 Year Birthday party in the gorgeous Waymouth Room last night and there is still so much buzz around this party from our followers. The food was delicious. the room is absolutely stunning and the vibe felt wonderful, warm and welcoming. Massive should out to James, our host, and his team for excellent service. We can not recommend this venue enough!Parking: The Topham Mall parking lot is only metres away and reasonably priced.

Great flexibility with food and drink options too, and very reasonable pricing for everything. The staff on the night ensured everything ran smoothly and were so helpful. Me Pips: We’ve been to Golden Boy so many times. Yeah, it’s that good. Tonight we had great table service - thank you Isaiah! And it got me thinking what’s so great about Golden Boy. I mean apart from the spectacular food. It’s the customer service. The wait staff know the menu and are passionate about the dishes, relaying the details with wide eyed enthusiasm. A delight as always.
Sara: My daughter took me to Golden Boy on a Monday at lunchtime. We were celebrating my birthday as well as her own, which both occur in August.We chose to order the tuk tuk menu rather than having a full a la carte. We mentioned what type of tastes we had when it came to Asian fusion/Thai food and let the staff serve us a variety of dishes. The portions were extremely generous and absolutely delicious. The staff waited until we had consumed one dish before bringing on another. We can highly recommend the betel leaf with ocean trout if you enjoy something spicy - such delicate little servings, and the soft shell crab dish was a particular winner. Diners have both spoon and fork as cutlery or can use chopsticks if preferred.Coconut ice cream was an ideal dessert.Chilled wine accompanied our meal.The young man who waited on us was a delight.I cannot speak highly enough of Golden Boy and am at a loss to understand the couple of negative reviews I have read. The positives certainly outweigh that minority anyway.

The waitress asked about preferences and I had a beef main and everyone else got to share seafood and chicken. Don’t be fooled by the small serving sizes, I left feeling very full. The food was fresh and seasoned perfectly. Since it was my wife’s birthday, they brought her a funny desert. I have been to Golden 4 times and it never disappoints.We were served by Georgia who informed us she had only been working there for a month but her service was exceptional and she said she was really enjoying working there.The food was amazing and a great variety. The 8 courses we shared was more than enough food and we were never waiting too long between dishes. Can’t recommend a better place and we are looking forward to our next time there.

Alexander Collins: and Pappardelle steamrolled anything I have had in a long long time.If you have not been or are visiting from out of town - Luigi’s Out-cooked and out-values the likes of Grill Americano of Melbourne.We spent $210 on 1x Entree, 2x Main, 2x Dessert, 3x Wines, if you find me this quality of Italian food and service in Adelaide cheaper - your meal is on me.The service for such a busy night was great, only flaw in our experience was where we sat at the front - however, that was our fault booking 30 mins before our meal.Highly recommend attending.Also highly recommend Luigi puts his pricing up, it was a steal.

We’d been meaning to try Luigi’s for a while as we’d heard great things.The food and service were amazing, we’ll definitely be back as it was outstanding. Food was exceptional, live music in the background and the staff were very personable and friendly.The owner Luigi introduced himself and was very welcoming and charming. He started his business with his late mum and you can tell food and hospitality is his passion.You won’t be disappointed. We had the scotch fillet, absolutely delicious!!
