Fire Hazard: This is a great place to find high quality baked goods. They are open 24/7 and have phenomenal staff. Everything we tried was great and we would get it again.Kid-friendliness: Lots of kid friendly options.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp right through the front door with plenty of seating.
Matthew McLean: Hi management, can I recommend training the new staff on knowing the same price as the sign on the shelf. Tonight, I was overcharged, and your team member needed correcting. This happened another time I went in also. Both times, they refunded the difference, though it took a slight debate. You may need to identify a bum steer the new team members might be getting.

Foodie Files Melbourne: We visited Africola for dinner which is probably the coolest restaurant in South Australia and really reminded me of some of the fun eateries in London, turns out the owner is from the UK and has settled in Adelaide, lucky for us he’s brought an immaculately styled venue with a killer atmosphere.Food wise my favourite was the peri peri chicken and the yummy carrot side. The chicken skin sandwich is kind of a signature but I wasn’t a huge fan. If you can book into the open kitchen seating that would be a really cool experience also.

And interesting...not just boring generic blah blah food other places churn out. This was menu was creative and with intention. Carolyn Lee: Innovative and flavourful food with superb service and great atmosphere.If you want to try something a bit different in Adelaide, this is the place to go. All the food was incredibly tasty and well thought out with interesting flavours but still using familiar ingredients. The service was SO good here, our waiter was attentive and enthusiastic without ever being pushy. Loved the vibe of the whole restaurant.Would recommend the Peri Peri Chicken, Chicken Liver Pate and Crispy Chicken Tea Sandwich.

Me Pips: We’ve been to Golden Boy so many times. Yeah, it’s that good. Tonight we had great table service - thank you Isaiah! And it got me thinking what’s so great about Golden Boy. I mean apart from the spectacular food. It’s the customer service. The wait staff know the menu and are passionate about the dishes, relaying the details with wide eyed enthusiasm. A delight as always.
Sara: My daughter took me to Golden Boy on a Monday at lunchtime. We were celebrating my birthday as well as her own, which both occur in August.We chose to order the tuk tuk menu rather than having a full a la carte. We mentioned what type of tastes we had when it came to Asian fusion/Thai food and let the staff serve us a variety of dishes. The portions were extremely generous and absolutely delicious. The staff waited until we had consumed one dish before bringing on another. We can highly recommend the betel leaf with ocean trout if you enjoy something spicy - such delicate little servings, and the soft shell crab dish was a particular winner. Diners have both spoon and fork as cutlery or can use chopsticks if preferred.Coconut ice cream was an ideal dessert.Chilled wine accompanied our meal.The young man who waited on us was a delight.I cannot speak highly enough of Golden Boy and am at a loss to understand the couple of negative reviews I have read. The positives certainly outweigh that minority anyway.

The waitress asked about preferences and I had a beef main and everyone else got to share seafood and chicken. Don’t be fooled by the small serving sizes, I left feeling very full. The food was fresh and seasoned perfectly. Since it was my wife’s birthday, they brought her a funny desert. I have been to Golden 4 times and it never disappoints.We were served by Georgia who informed us she had only been working there for a month but her service was exceptional and she said she was really enjoying working there.The food was amazing and a great variety. The 8 courses we shared was more than enough food and we were never waiting too long between dishes. Can’t recommend a better place and we are looking forward to our next time there.

Dyan Higgs: The restaurant is beautiful inside just need a bit more lighting to read menus. The mains were delicious I do recommend the wagyu rump and adobo chicken. The salad was dressed well too. We had the buffalo mozzarella as a starter it said chilli on the menu we couldn’t taste any it needed a little more zing. Overall we had a great time and would visit again
Chen Angel: The food, service and environment are very comfortable.The appetizers are delicious, kingfish yummy.The pasta is very special and has a very chewy texture.In addition, the staple beef is super delicious, and the fried onions go well with it.The tiramisu for dessert was also good but very sweet.Meal time is 6-9:30, very full.For a meal of 7 people, I had the impression that two bottles of white wine were opened, and the cost was about 750 Australian dollars.
Ben Anastassi: My wife and I wanted a date lunch Press* did not disappoint. We had a bottle of French wine which was described perfectly for us by the waiter and we were seated in a very nice spot where we could enjoy our time and chat together. We shared all of our dishes and the staff were so attentive and always cleared the dishes and wiped the table between serves. All flavors were great but the stand out dish was the kangaroo tartare the flavour was unexpected and amazing. Thankyou to the staff that looked after us and I apologise for not getting names to put in this review.
Coreen Taylor: We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It had been a really tough previous 24 hours and our waitress Lulu was exceptional. She made our experience lovely, knowledgeable of the menu too. We loved the fresh oysters, our small plates of tuna and pork skewer, amazing kangaroo tartare and mains barramundi and the abodoe chicken with a side of Brussel sprouts was fresh and tantalising. Aman Mattoo: This place has been long awaiting on our list of places we wanted to try. The quality of food is very high, ingredients and products used are of fantastic quality. My favourite dish was the beef cheek, perfectly braised and melting in the mouth and very gelatinous the way I expected it to be. The salt and pepper squid had a nice sweet and sour dressing drizzle over it although i could enjoy the squids a bit more crispy with the dressing only in the salad and not so much on the squids. The other dishes sounded very appealing and would love the come back to try them out too. Ill get straight to the highlight of the evening and that was Carmen the wait staff. She explained all the specials to us, gave us enough time to settle in and made some great recommendations and came and checked on us every now and then to make sure we had everything we needed. She served us with a smile through the evening.Great place and would definitely go back.

Bruce Trương: . We had a lamb kebab, a serving of dumplings, and the famed eggplant curry, with iced chai and rose sharbat on the side. The dumplings remained crunchy, despite being drenched in extremely flavorful tomato sauce. The kebab was of course delicious; and the eggplant curry was a little sweeter than we had expected, but that was definitely a welcome surprised. We left full and satisfied, and without much of a dent in our wallet because everything was so reasonably priced!

Dilen Shah: Brilliant food and really friendly staff, the quality and also quantity of the food was really good. All dishes were delivicous, especially try the dumplings, they were just wow! Super reasonable pricing and will definitely come again soon.
Ash: Incredible food and one of the best vegetarian lunch options in the city. My only complaint is that your opening hours aren't long enough to accommodate when I don't want the full sit-down formal dining experience of Parwana!

Rosaline H: First time trying vegetarian burgers, and they actually tasted great—better than expected.Ordered villain burger and chilli one.The potato chips with garlic salt were very fresh and crispy.Overall, I had a great experience here.It’s defintely a hidden gem in Rundle Mall.

The meat substitutes I tried were delightful and almost indistinguishable from the real deal and the falafel was splendid as well! Sodas were top notch too, very glad I took the risk and tried the tummy tonic cause it was divine! Service was excellent as well, all around an amazing meal!

Anthony De Dominicis: When I first walked in, I got a pretty strong whiff of Asian cuisine and was seated almost immediately. There were six of us and most of us ordered different items which arrived between 10-20 minutes. Fast! I ordered the shredded pork salad which was fairly pleasant. It had a good mixture of coriander, green apple strips, corn, red onion, and pork. $18 it came to. My friends had various items like the beef/chicken varieties and enjoyed them thoroughly all on average worth $25. Otherwise, the place is pretty neat for where it's positioned and the prices are very average considering the portion sizes. Also, better menu descriptions would be appreciated. Three words cant describe a dish.Revisited 5 years later and had a greater experience. The menu is nicer, more subtle and tastes amazing. Had the beef wagyu and it was so good.

Don't expect fine food, but it hits the brief of being tasty and warms the soul.Yes, the flavours and sauces are rich, and it's filling, just what we often crave. It's also bustling and lively aka noisy. Staff are fun and friendly. You might have to keep an eye out to get their attention, but that's because the place is usually full.Looking forward to revisiting.
