Ash Worthington: Awesome place for a casual Sunday brunch. Great coffee and great food from an interesting menu. Almost like a little Speakeasy - most wouldn't know it was there from the street, but enter through an unassuming sliding industrial door and emerge into a vibrant, packed and buzzing cafe. I would have given them a 6/5 for the food if only the couldn't resisted the current trend to put kale on every menu.

Alexander Collins: and Pappardelle steamrolled anything I have had in a long long time.If you have not been or are visiting from out of town - Luigi’s Out-cooked and out-values the likes of Grill Americano of Melbourne. We spent $210 on 1x Entree, 2x Main, 2x Dessert, 3x Wines, if you find me this quality of Italian food and service in Adelaide cheaper - your meal is on me.The service for such a busy night was great, only flaw in our experience was where we sat at the front - however, that was our fault booking 30 mins before our meal.Highly recommend attending. Also highly recommend Luigi puts his pricing up, it was a steal.

Henry: I recently celebrated my partner’s birthday at this incredible Italian restaurant, and this was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had in Adelaide. From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for a special evening. The food was absolutely divine – every dish was bursting with authentic flavours, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. It was a perfect balance of elegance and comfort, and we cannot wait to return.I would also like to express my gratitude to Nick, Elena and Davide for their extraordinary and considerate service. Their excellent service made this a memorable birthday experience. We really appreciate it!Highly recommended for anyone looking for an unforgettable Italian dining experience in Adelaide!

Lynne pender: We had originally booked another restaurant for our anniversary lunch but it was extremely noisy and not the relaxing vibe we planned. We’d been meaning to try Luigi’s for a while as we’d heard great things. The food and service were amazing, we’ll definitely be back as it was outstanding. Food was exceptional, live music in the background and the staff were very personable and friendly. The owner Luigi introduced himself and was very welcoming and charming. He started his business with his late mum and you can tell food and hospitality is his passion. You won’t be disappointed. We had the scotch fillet, absolutely delicious!!

Silvana Zotti: Yearly family catch up at Commissary was great place to meet, enjoyed great food and service is impeccableGreat experienceDietary restrictions: Gluten free option availableParking: As it was the weekend, parking was not an issue for any of us.Not sure if same on week day.

Niloufar Ansari: We visited this cafe on a Saturday, and despite the crowd, we were impressed by the experience. The staff were remarkably attentive, ensuring every customer felt valued even during the busiest times. The menu was great, offering a variety of options to suit all tastes. The red velvet waffle is a must-try! It’s perfectly crunchy, sweet but not overly so, and balanced beautifully with the ice cream. The fresh fruit adds a refreshing touch that complements the dish's sweetness perfectly.

Michelle Sim: Beautiful brunch place where business has been booming since they opened. A unique dish to try is the Red Velvet waffles! There are simply divine and a must try at least once. Their service is fast, efficient and super friendly. Even when you arrive during busy hours, they will still do their best to accommodate you as quickly as they can.My favs were the pulled pork, sweet potato fries and chorizo and mushroom plate! 3

Yannis Brown: This is the second time I have been here and is a little gem away from the hustle of the main Rundle area and extensions.I had time to kill between appointments, so I sat myself down for a remote work and had an eggs Benedict and coffee .OMG, that gluten-free Benny with salmon is one of the best I have had.Just like I judge a good Dim Sum restaurant, or as we call it here in Australia "Yum Cha", based on its Sui Mai, I equivalate a cafe with its ability to produce a good Eggs Benedict.Super friendly staff and a relaxed, cozy environment. Tables outside, which I also noticed some peope on their laptops as well getting a spot of work in.

Erica Bouwman: Beautiful place on the river. Beautiful views both on the terrace and inside. Nice alternative atmosphere.Vegetarian options: Many possibilities!

Emily Baldwin: The best scrambled eggs you will eat in Port/Semaphore area. After trying numerous cafes in the vicinity…nothing compares to Folklore’s scrambled eggs. They are always delivered steaming hot and cooked to perfection every single time. I don’t know how they do it, they are magicians of the humble eggs. The staff are always friendly, polite and if you come earlier in the mornings the service is super speedy. The coffee is also always on point. If you’re lucky you may spot a dolphin or two.If you’re a bit of a scrambled egg looking for some delicious scrambled eggs this is the place for you. Top tip: if you order haloumi you also get a slice of lemon which goes nicely with the eggs and thick slice of sourdough.

Rebekah Bell: If you’re scanning google for cafe’s to hit up - stop right now and go here. Seriously divine food, unbelievable coffee, lovingly prepared food, gorgeous sensory experience with vintage pottery kitchenware, vibes from the staff were so warm & chill, and the view of the water from the deck was heaps peaceful.I’ll literally track this cafe down and come back next time i’m passing through Adelaide. Amaaazing vibe.Vegetarian options: Garlic mushrooms were out of controllllSoo good! Halloumi was the best I’ve ever had. The texture was perfect!

Elise Phillis: amazing restaurant, beautiful ambience and attractive and professional staff. we had the beef bourguignon, french onion soup, and escargot. all amazing, the soup is loaded with croutons you don’t even need bread for the table. the escargot were immensely rich and chewy and covered in garlic butter, and the bourguignon was rich and tender. one thing, the place is quite cramped. i haven’t gone during the morning or lunch hours but i can imagine it can get quite loud. for dinner though it was perfect.

Wade Zammit Meaney: Go to Paris by visiting the Adelaide East End. Every time I step in, I feel like I've been transported, even if it's just for a coffee. Any time of day, you won’t be disappointed. Today, I had a long macchiato, but if you’re thinking of breakfast, go for the continental. You won’t regret it, and you’ll feel like a true Parisian!

The coffee and freshly squeezed juice is delicious and the cinnamon scrolls are simply the best! Great for kids with coloring pencils and we love checking out the local artwork on the walls that is frequently updated. Thanks Silas and team

Chaii Latte: It's a fantastic little cafe with an amazing and warm ambience. The Edmonton burger has kept me coming back for years and every Wednesday is donut day. The flavours are creative and delicious. Watching the trains go past as you sip a coffee makes for a nice relaxing moment between the hustle and bustle of a hectic day. Absolute gem of a place.

Meredith Spangler: and not nearly enough marshmallows. The coffee was enjoyable, but came at a moderate temperature that had to be drunk quickly or would have gone cold.

Jasmine Clift: *THE* best cafe in Adelaide. The owner, chefs, baristas, and wait staff are lovely and genuine. The food is exceptional and the coffee is divine. The cafe itself is homely and warm, and it is the perfect size. I've probably visited 150 cafes in the past 2 years, and this is the best one. I believe this is due to the owner, Silas, and his lovely nature. He welcomes customers in, does his best to remember their names, jokes with them, and works hard to deliver quality in all aspects of the cafe. Bless!.*Photos taken during my many visits over the past year or so.*

Niklas Fricke: Describing how great this Café is, is almost not possible. Already whilst approaching this place you just feel happy and relaxed. Although it is situated at a street, the café give very relaxing vibes so that you just feel good. It offers seating inside as well as outside where it is decided from the street with some plastic curtains. As soon as you sit down or get seated the staff hands you the menu and welcomes you very friendly. The café itself has a great atmosphere due to the interior and some decent music playing in the background. It offers some great food, which ranges from typical breakfast options like eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, variations of toasts and lots of other things to lunch options. Additionally they have some special offers displayed above the bar. Today there was a shakshuka.I ordered a cappucino, which was unquestionable good, the shakshuka and to finish it off, a great little cheesecake. The shakshuka was amazing and came with some in butter toasted bread and rucola. The cheesecake meanwhile was quite small but more than enough, extremely creamy and unbelievable good. The price of 8$ for the cappucino, 28$ for the shakshuka and 8$ dollars for the cheesecake was a bit surprising for me first of all but after trying the food it was absolutely reasonable. All in all, this café is a must visit if you stay in Adelaide and want to have either breakfast, lunch or just an amazing hot drink. I am definitely going to visit it again for a couple of times. An absolutely lovely place!Thank you so much for this amazing breakfast.

Quỳnh Trang: I stumbled upon Coffylosophy and I’m so glad I did! This place has a really cool vibe and cozy seating. The music is at a nice level, and there’s plenty of seating options. Plus, the Wi-Fi is solid if you need to get some work done.Overall, Coffylosophy is a gem in Adelaide. Alex Vasek (Alex's Ace's): Absolutely LOVED @argoespresso in Adelaide! ✨ This spot is the perfect blend of cozy and vibrant vibes, making it a go-to for anyone who loves good food and great energy.First off, the atmosphere is incredible! 🌟 The decor is stylish and welcoming, with a modern touch that makes you want to stay for hours. Whether you’re there for a quick coffee or a long brunch, the ambience is just perfect.Speaking of coffee, it’s top-notch! ☕️ The baristas really know their stuff, and you can tell they put a lot of love into each cup. The blend they use is smooth and rich, just the way I like it. I had a latte that was pure perfection, and I’m still thinking about it! 😍Now, onto the food… WOW! 😋 The menu is super diverse, with something for everyone. Whether you’re into healthy options or feel like indulging, Argo’s got you covered. We tried their mango smoothy breakfast bowl and their egg and bacon roll, both so fresh and flavorful! 🍳🥓🥣 The portion sizes are generous, and everything is presented beautifully.Overall, Argo on the Parade is a must-visit in Adelaide. If you’re looking for a spot that ticks all the boxes – delicious food, amazing coffee, and a great atmosphere – this is it! 🌈 Can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu. Highly recommend! 💯

Joel Gregurev: Fantastic Cafe, great service. On a busy day was seated inside on one of the bar stool areas which we were happy with, but voiced if there were any booths free those were the preference. 15 minutes later a waitress approached, remembering our passing comment, and had a booth reserved for us. Given how busy the day was, this was an unexpected level of service and should be commended. Great atmosphere and tasty food!

Gilly Gilmiester: How lovely can a cafe get? The setting is great with the outdoor dining area covered in plants heaps of seating inside. The food is great the selection is gradually being paired back particularly non meat options. The drink choices are head spinning. Try the dirty chai. And of course the fact that it is dog friendly seals the deal.

Nicki A: .The ham and cheese croissants - toasted - were delicious! Vanilla slice was good.

Rameshwari Chauhan: The best cafe on the Parade. They have various food options, juices, and hot drinks. Highly recommended 👌 👍Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian and vegan dishes on their menu.

Chris Nilsen: .They only give you one piece of toast, which seems a bit strange. Not sure about the music. I get that the owners are young and probably put on the type of music they like to listen to. But the music is more suited to having end-of-day drinks in a bar, not for a breakfast cafe. I just wonder if there’s a demographic you might only go there once as the music drives them away.

Jo: Great coffee, food and friendly service.I was staying nearby for work and stopped in for coffee and a quick brekkie. The raisin toast was delicious and tasted home made… a good amount of real butter and jam on the side.It was so good I went back again the next day. I could see this becoming m n yum Nkomo so if I lived nearby.

Soul Acoustic: We had an amazing lunch today. Chose the Foragers Tasting menu both plant based and general and it was phenomenal. The service was top notch. The two waitresses that were there today 17 June 2024 for lunch were amazing and were so friendly. We also got to say hi to the chef Luke as well. Each different dish we had was full of unique flavours : a result of combining local produce and high quality ingredients. It was a unique experience to have been able to taste local produce complimented by the freshness of the ingredients. You'd think for something like this you might not get enough serving sizes but we almost couldn't finish our last serve of food as the quantity is a lot when considering all the dishes that come out. It's a lot and very satisfying.. This was topped off with probably one of the best deserts we've had. Will definitely visit again when the seasonal menu changes again. Thank you to the team for making our experience such a delightful one.Vegetarian options: Great plant based options

Matthew Yong-O'Gorman: Hit and miss with dishes. Wouldn't rush back when in Adelaide.

Dyan Higgs: The restaurant is beautiful inside just need a bit more lighting to read menus. The mains were delicious I do recommend the wagyu rump and adobo chicken. The salad was dressed well too. We had the buffalo mozzarella as a starter it said chilli on the menu we couldn’t taste any it needed a little more zing. Overall we had a great time and would visit again

Chen Angel: The food, service and environment are very comfortable. The appetizers are delicious, kingfish yummy. The pasta is very special and has a very chewy texture. In addition, the staple beef is super delicious, and the fried onions go well with it.The tiramisu for dessert was also good but very sweet.Meal time is 6-9:30, very full. For a meal of 7 people, I had the impression that two bottles of white wine were opened, and the cost was about 750 Australian dollars.

Ben Anastassi: My wife and I wanted a date lunch Press* did not disappoint. We had a bottle of French wine which was described perfectly for us by the waiter and we were seated in a very nice spot where we could enjoy our time and chat together. We shared all of our dishes and the staff were so attentive and always cleared the dishes and wiped the table between serves. All flavors were great but the stand out dish was the kangaroo tartare the flavour was unexpected and amazing. Thankyou to the staff that looked after us and I apologise for not getting names to put in this review.

Coreen Taylor: We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It had been a really tough previous 24 hours and our waitress Lulu was exceptional. She made our experience lovely, knowledgeable of the menu too. We loved the fresh oysters, our small plates of tuna and pork skewer, amazing kangaroo tartare and mains barramundi and the abodoe chicken with a side of Brussel sprouts was fresh and tantalising.
