Yannis Brown: This is the second time I have been here and is a little gem away from the hustle of the main Rundle area and extensions.I had time to kill between appointments, so I sat myself down for a remote work and had an eggs Benedict and coffee .OMG, that gluten-free Benny with salmon is one of the best I have had.Just like I judge a good Dim Sum restaurant, or as we call it here in Australia "Yum Cha", based on its Sui Mai, I equivalate a cafe with its ability to produce a good Eggs Benedict.Super friendly staff and a relaxed, cozy environment. Tables outside, which I also noticed some peope on their laptops as well getting a spot of work in.

N D: Very good coffee

The Banksia Tree Cafe and Restaurant: what do users think?

Michal: Very nice food but a rather mixed experienceWe visited on Father's Day which was likely a busier day than usual which would probably explain the rather spotty service.Food quality was very good and way above average but the serving sizes are small to average and burgers come without chips.Really annoying and limited wine list without many options to buy wine per glass.Very good food overall but the experience could be improved

Rachel Girdler: My partner and I love the Banksia Tree, the food is delicious, the coffee is great, the fit out is cozy and the location is perfect for a post-meal walk around the port. I love that they sell their own products like seasonings and sauces and other local products like flowers and keep cups. They also have a generous loyalty program. All-round beautiful venue!

Erika Klement: Havnt been here for awhile but it’s always great and this morning I popped in for a velvet latte and a pear and almond cake b4 I head to my volunteer work:- wow the velvet latte has beetroot in it yummo and of course the pear almond cake is extra yummoSo worth pooping in for a snack or great meal

Shaun Clements: Beautiful cafe in Port Adelaide.Lovely vibe with great staff who were very attentive with polite manners. The food was delicious and delivered in a super timely manner.Coffee was delicious also which for me is very important.Definitely recommend this place and will be back.Parking: Can be hard to find prong but being patient pays off too.Obviously this depends on time of day and the day you go.

Sally Ella: I love the Banksia Tree. It’s always so warm and welcoming, and I love the atmosphere. The plants, the fire, the sunlight- this place is so vibrant and comforting. The food is so fresh and tasty and you can tell that so much thought has gone in to each dish. I love that they are ethically minded, and get involved in their local community.Definitely a favourite spot. ♥️

Nikki Linkevics: Always delish and great service.Recommended dishes Banksia Burger …

Hey Jupiter Brasserie Francaise: what do users think?

Elise Phillis: amazing restaurant, beautiful ambience and attractive and professional staff. we had the beef bourguignon, french onion soup, and escargot. all amazing, the soup is loaded with croutons you don’t even need bread for the table. the escargot were immensely rich and chewy and covered in garlic butter, and the bourguignon was rich and tender. one thing, the place is quite cramped. i haven’t gone during the morning or lunch hours but i can imagine it can get quite loud. for dinner though it was perfect.

Wade Zammit Meaney: Go to Paris by visiting the Adelaide East End. Every time I step in, I feel like I've been transported, even if it's just for a coffee. Any time of day, you won’t be disappointed. Today, I had a long macchiato, but if you’re thinking of breakfast, go for the continental. You won’t regret it, and you’ll feel like a true Parisian!

Alexander Collins: and Pappardelle steamrolled anything I have had in a long long time.If you have not been or are visiting from out of town - Luigi’s Out-cooked and out-values the likes of Grill Americano of Melbourne. We spent $210 on 1x Entree, 2x Main, 2x Dessert, 3x Wines, if you find me this quality of Italian food and service in Adelaide cheaper - your meal is on me.The service for such a busy night was great, only flaw in our experience was where we sat at the front - however, that was our fault booking 30 mins before our meal.Highly recommend attending. Also highly recommend Luigi puts his pricing up, it was a steal.

Henry: I recently celebrated my partner’s birthday at this incredible Italian restaurant, and this was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had in Adelaide. From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for a special evening. The food was absolutely divine – every dish was bursting with authentic flavours, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. It was a perfect balance of elegance and comfort, and we cannot wait to return.I would also like to express my gratitude to Nick, Elena and Davide for their extraordinary and considerate service. Their excellent service made this a memorable birthday experience. We really appreciate it!Highly recommended for anyone looking for an unforgettable Italian dining experience in Adelaide!

Lynne pender: We had originally booked another restaurant for our anniversary lunch but it was extremely noisy and not the relaxing vibe we planned. We’d been meaning to try Luigi’s for a while as we’d heard great things. The food and service were amazing, we’ll definitely be back as it was outstanding. Food was exceptional, live music in the background and the staff were very personable and friendly. The owner Luigi introduced himself and was very welcoming and charming. He started his business with his late mum and you can tell food and hospitality is his passion. You won’t be disappointed. We had the scotch fillet, absolutely delicious!!

Peter Patatez: Don’t know why it’s taken me so long to come here for breakfast, finally made the time to drop in and I’m glad we did.I honestly believe it’s the best breakfast I’ve ever had in Adelaide…and I’ve tried a fair few places. Will be returning for lunch.Amazing.

Trang Nguyen: Amazing customer service! They really went out and beyond on Father's Day, by giving out little gift for all the fathers. We had an amazing time and really memorable.Kid-friendliness: Kids activity and drawing to keep them occupied.

Shanna Yin: Such a lovely place for lunch! A relaxed and welcoming vibe with super friendly staff.I had the reuben, which was delicious! Everything is house-made and it shows.Highly recommend checking out this place for coffee or a meal. We'll be back!

Jade J: I found this cafe while searching nearby. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly, so I was able to finish my meal with good memories. All of the foods you recommended were good, and I would like to come back and try other foods when I come to Adelaide. It was delicious!

Carol D: Arrived just before 2, there was no problem in them taking our order for cooked food & coffee. Provided a high chair & our childs meal very quickly. Food was very tasty, well cooked & nicely presented. Staff were amazing, friendly & helpful. The coffee was the next level amazing too. Crack Kitchen: what do users think?

Daniel Weston: An absolutely charming and characterful place for breakfast. My husband and I are new to the area and have found our ‘regular’ in Crack Kitchen. Food was amazing, the French toast will not disappoint and the coffee impressed us Melbourne coffee snobs. Feedback is encouraged and welcomed by staff on collection of plates, which shows their unique approach to customer service.Loved the little history lesson about the bank building on the menu - however the desire for the French toast is what brings me back.See you next time!CheersDan and Billy.

Burbuqe Shaqiri: The best coffee I’ve had in Adelaide. The food was pretty amazing too.

Timothy Mansfield: . The spinach was proper, grown up spinach cooked just right so it still has texture. But the chipolatas! They had these kind of crunchy, caramelised little corner bits on them. Just little parcels of yum.Why are you still reading this review? Go there now.

Daniel: Overall was okay. The pancakes were good, though not particularly standout amazing. Appreciated the berry ice cream as something a bit different though.Pretty noisy inside despite there not being a lot of people there, and service seemed a little distracted but might have just been a bad day.

Andrea Castaño Gómez: We visited with a group of 12 last week and had an incredible experience! The service and the food were simply amazing. Our orders were delivered promptly, and the brunch was delicious. The staff went above and beyond, offering excellent recommendations and even taking the time to snap a group photo for us. Their friendly and attentive service made our visit truly special. I can't wait to go back and enjoy another fantastic brunch!

Alan Gore: Dropped in for a coffee & toast after a morning ride. Despite the chilly morning, we sat outside and enjoyed the warmth of the sun and the very tasty coffee & toast.Coffee was beautifully made, excellent strength & temperature.Definitely adding this cafe to our "good coffee" list!

Frank Sortino: My wife and I recently popped into this trendy little cafe for a late breakfast and were quite happy with why we got.The service was friendly and very quick with both coffee and food. The venue itself is cute and has a nice feel to it.And the food was of a high quality and plenty of flavour. The spicy coconut sauce I got with my eggs was absolutely delicious, I wanted to put it on everything. My wife’s prawn and avocado Tartine was loaded with avocado and a good amount of prawns and had a nice little sriracha aioli on it.The coffee was delicious and like I said came out very quickly. All in all, we left satisfied and happy and would definitely return as the menu was quite large with lots of delicious sounding dishes

J F: I recently visited this café while staying at a nearby hotel, and it turned out to be a delightful experience. As I walked in, I was warmly greeted and promptly shown to a table with a menu. I only wanted a quick bite, so I ordered a coffee and a raspberry chocolate croissant. The coffee was excellent, and the croissant was absolutely delicious. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, the level of service here is outstanding and rare to find in many cafés. Highly recommend!

Erica Bouwman: Beautiful place on the river. Beautiful views both on the terrace and inside. Nice alternative atmosphere.Vegetarian options: Many possibilities!

Emily Baldwin: The best scrambled eggs you will eat in Port/Semaphore area. After trying numerous cafes in the vicinity…nothing compares to Folklore’s scrambled eggs. They are always delivered steaming hot and cooked to perfection every single time. I don’t know how they do it, they are magicians of the humble eggs. The staff are always friendly, polite and if you come earlier in the mornings the service is super speedy. The coffee is also always on point. If you’re lucky you may spot a dolphin or two.If you’re a bit of a scrambled egg looking for some delicious scrambled eggs this is the place for you. Top tip: if you order haloumi you also get a slice of lemon which goes nicely with the eggs and thick slice of sourdough.

Rebekah Bell: If you’re scanning google for cafe’s to hit up - stop right now and go here. Seriously divine food, unbelievable coffee, lovingly prepared food, gorgeous sensory experience with vintage pottery kitchenware, vibes from the staff were so warm & chill, and the view of the water from the deck was heaps peaceful.I’ll literally track this cafe down and come back next time i’m passing through Adelaide. Amaaazing vibe.Vegetarian options: Garlic mushrooms were out of controllllSoo good! Halloumi was the best I’ve ever had. The texture was perfect!

Niklas Fricke: Describing how great this Café is, is almost not possible. Already whilst approaching this place you just feel happy and relaxed. Although it is situated at a street, the café give very relaxing vibes so that you just feel good. It offers seating inside as well as outside where it is decided from the street with some plastic curtains. As soon as you sit down or get seated the staff hands you the menu and welcomes you very friendly. The café itself has a great atmosphere due to the interior and some decent music playing in the background. It offers some great food, which ranges from typical breakfast options like eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, variations of toasts and lots of other things to lunch options. Additionally they have some special offers displayed above the bar. Today there was a shakshuka.I ordered a cappucino, which was unquestionable good, the shakshuka and to finish it off, a great little cheesecake. The shakshuka was amazing and came with some in butter toasted bread and rucola. The cheesecake meanwhile was quite small but more than enough, extremely creamy and unbelievable good. The price of 8$ for the cappucino, 28$ for the shakshuka and 8$ dollars for the cheesecake was a bit surprising for me first of all but after trying the food it was absolutely reasonable. All in all, this café is a must visit if you stay in Adelaide and want to have either breakfast, lunch or just an amazing hot drink. I am definitely going to visit it again for a couple of times. An absolutely lovely place!Thank you so much for this amazing breakfast.

Quỳnh Trang: I stumbled upon Coffylosophy and I’m so glad I did! This place has a really cool vibe and cozy seating. It’s the perfect spot to unwind. The staff here are super friendly and made me feel welcome right away. I ordered a latte, and it was amazing—smooth, rich, and beautifully presented. You can tell they really care about their coffee here. The ambiance is great whether you’re catching up with friends or just chilling alone. The music is at a nice level, and there’s plenty of seating options. Plus, the Wi-Fi is solid if you need to get some work done.Overall, Coffylosophy is a gem in Adelaide. Great coffee, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere—what more could you ask for? Definitely coming back!

Amanda Collins: My daughter and i have been coming here most Tuesday mornings before school. It is our special place to come each week. The coffee and freshly squeezed juice is delicious and the cinnamon scrolls are simply the best! Great for kids with coloring pencils and we love checking out the local artwork on the walls that is frequently updated. Thanks Silas and team

Chaii Latte: It's a fantastic little cafe with an amazing and warm ambience. The Edmonton burger has kept me coming back for years and every Wednesday is donut day. The flavours are creative and delicious. Watching the trains go past as you sip a coffee makes for a nice relaxing moment between the hustle and bustle of a hectic day. Absolute gem of a place.

Rosie Ik: Excellent coffee.Service: 5/5 …

Meredith Spangler: and not nearly enough marshmallows. The coffee was enjoyable, but came at a moderate temperature that had to be drunk quickly or would have gone cold.

Jasmine Clift: *THE* best cafe in Adelaide. The owner, chefs, baristas, and wait staff are lovely and genuine. The food is exceptional and the coffee is divine. The cafe itself is homely and warm, and it is the perfect size. I've probably visited 150 cafes in the past 2 years, and this is the best one. I believe this is due to the owner, Silas, and his lovely nature. He welcomes customers in, does his best to remember their names, jokes with them, and works hard to deliver quality in all aspects of the cafe. Bless!.*Photos taken during my many visits over the past year or so.*

Ash Worthington: Awesome place for a casual Sunday brunch. Great coffee and great food from an interesting menu. Almost like a little Speakeasy - most wouldn't know it was there from the street, but enter through an unassuming sliding industrial door and emerge into a vibrant, packed and buzzing cafe. I would have given them a 6/5 for the food if only the couldn't resisted the current trend to put kale on every menu.
