Jeff Baohm: if you are looking for an art deco style that is hard to find this is your go to venueNoteworthy details: art deco is alive and well

Paul Kitching: My wife and I decided to have a night away in our own town and this was perfect - brilliant to be so well located to everything. Easy check in and great service. Lovely room too with the loft set up - loved the high ceilings and no issue having the bed upstairs. Massive comfy bed... Lovely team members at every turn. Drinks at bar not cheap but worth it... then a nice easy stroll to dinner nearby... and loved the late 11am check out + fact we could leave our bag there for the day whilst we spent the day in town... so overall yes this was brilliant and would book again. ta!

Karl Perigo: from every department was faultless.Walkability: The free tram around the CBD is located across the road.

Christine Laverty: I love the vibe of this hotel. It’s stylish with art nouveaux design that oozes comfortable luxury unlike many boring hotels that I find lack personality. The rooms are lovely, beds super comfy, showers almost too good-I didn't want to get out! Then there's the bath- it's deep and has a waterfall tap, absolute bliss to have a relaxing soak in after a stressful day. Another thing I really love is their vanity. It's actually a decent length, you can happily display all of your various make-up, hair & toiletry items easily. This is incredibly rare and you're often lucky to have enough room for a toothbrush and have to keep moving toilet bags from the floor..we'll, not here😁 Plus the bathroom light has a dimmer and one of those reversible make-up magnifier mirrors. The chaise lounge finishes off the room nicely with the only potential thing I can think of that wasn't perfect was that I walked into the overhanging light a couple of times but really, it wasn't a problem and I loved the light fixture and table set-up.The staff were all lovely and really helpful and the Manager was great to talk to. Even the cleaning staff happily greeted me whenever I saw them.Make sure you try a complimentary chocolate orange shot while you're there. You help yourself and it's just the Reception desk. It's so rich & delicious and again, another lovely extra touch. The cocktails from the bat were also great and although I didn't get the chance to dine in their restaurant-Luna, it has a great local reputation for breakfast as well as lunch/dinner.I loved everything about this hotel.😁Safety: I went online to an Adelaide group and asked about safety walking around at 7am. All feedback was it was safe and I did it every day and felt completely safe.

Toni Alroy: Stayed for three nights to attend a conference. I’m a lover of all things Art Nouveau so found the decor perfect. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful, keen to share local knowledge and give advice to a first time Adelaide visitor. I was upgraded to a suite which was very unexpected. Bed was dreamy and bathroom was luxe. Hope I get to visit again. Thankyou for a wonderful stay!

Helen Schunker: Enjoyed a High Tea Experience with 5 other people today, 10th August, 2024. Would highly recommend this High Tea. Delicious selection of savoury and sweet. Special cocktail mixed for us on arrival. A mocktail available as well. Excellent service by the team member at Luma Restaurant.Food & drinks: 5 star High Tea.

Suzie Shimamoto: Food was really good, very tasty and well seasoned. Had the Kilpatrick oysters, tomahawk, smoked duck and the whole Barramundi and a variety of sides. All were very tasty, but the standout was the service. Friendly greeting upon entrance and attentive wait staff throughout our service. The atmosphere was nice, it wasn't too busy but still lively and pleasant. Extensive wine list for those who like wine.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible, slightly steep and awkward ramp but not terrible to get into the building. David Paul: Sound system was not the best yet I've seen Beats on Parade play at other gigs without sound issues. Maybe replace the cables as whenever the DJ spoke it was this inaudible high pitched shrill. Once the DJ stopped speaking it wasn't too bad despite the system cutting out on one speaker. Once it was stable, it was fine. Don't use an MC if the mics aren't working - trust me, I'm a sound engineer.

Scott Hawken: One of the nicest hotels in Adelaide with a great restaurant and bistro with excellent food and friendly staff.

Hannah Alison: Gabby was immediately welcoming, so polite and friendly to all of us, good humour too. She is good at what she does!Food was delicious and presented really nicely.Tables were set up nicely, and was comfortably warm even though it’s freezing outside. My daughter had had her first taste of chocolate and approved.. Vegetarian options: I had 2 vegetarian appetisers and both were delicious and decent portions. I noticed a few v/gf options on the menuKid-friendliness: I thank Gabby again for how nice she was to my daughter, immediately getting her a high chair and offering plastic cups without me even asking. Always saying hello when she came to the table. She is a sweetheart and made our experience more than beautiful.Sorry about the mess on the table! 😝

Tom Reed: Good selection of beers, wines and spirits, great vibe.

Maxine Daly: Attended an event at the Old Mill Hahndorf last night, and what a fantastic show, Faulty towers dinner, with Basil, Manuel and,Sybil. Hysterically funny. And what a fantastic venue.I visited the Old Mill in Hahndorf several years ago. And oh my it was so run down, tired, neglected in need of lots of TLC. We also slept there in one of the chalet rooms, they were not very clean, mattresses were soiled and Old.So last night what a difference, whoever put time and effort and a lot of work, have now transformed the Old Mill back into a beautiful venue, also stayed night in same room as we stayed in several years ago and o what a difference. New mattresses and room was absolutely spotless, perfect nights sleep. Was so over whelmed at what a difference a couple of years has made to the Old Mill, Hahndorf.Whoever took on that tired old building, has done an amazing transformation. My compliments, the whole venue, was in top condition, the staff were so helpful. It is amazing that a place that was so run down, and someone took it on and now is one of the best venues in South Australia..

Richard Woodward: The private function room was cosy with a great atmosphere...food and service was excellent 👍

Greg Hodson: To all those traveling to Hahndorf to see the German 🇩🇪 Village it is a must the have your belly full on your day out. This great hotel is very clean and tidy and would definitely recommend a stop over for food here for sure. It has great bars and eating areaLocation: 5/5 …

Yannis Brown: This is the second time I have been here and is a little gem away from the hustle of the main Rundle area and extensions.I had time to kill between appointments, so I sat myself down for a remote work and had an eggs Benedict and coffee .OMG, that gluten-free Benny with salmon is one of the best I have had.Just like I judge a good Dim Sum restaurant, or as we call it here in Australia "Yum Cha", based on its Sui Mai, I equivalate a cafe with its ability to produce a good Eggs Benedict.Super friendly staff and a relaxed, cozy environment. Tables outside, which I also noticed some peope on their laptops as well getting a spot of work in.

The views of the lake were lovely and the coffee was excellent. Although we didn't have a booking, Robin provided us with exceptional service from the start to the end of our visit. His dedication to customer service was impressive and truly memorable.Thank you to Robin and the team for looking after us so well. We look forward to returning again soon

KOBUS VAN WYK: Tucked away on the lake, this lovely spot is a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of the busy road. The coffee is top-notch, and I appreciate the extensive vegan menu options. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or a tasty meal, OAR is a must-visit! Keep up the great work, OAR team!

Elise Phillis: amazing restaurant, beautiful ambience and attractive and professional staff. we had the beef bourguignon, french onion soup, and escargot. all amazing, the soup is loaded with croutons you don’t even need bread for the table. the escargot were immensely rich and chewy and covered in garlic butter, and the bourguignon was rich and tender. one thing, the place is quite cramped. i haven’t gone during the morning or lunch hours but i can imagine it can get quite loud. for dinner though it was perfect.

Wade Zammit Meaney: Go to Paris by visiting the Adelaide East End. Every time I step in, I feel like I've been transported, even if it's just for a coffee. Any time of day, you won’t be disappointed. Today, I had a long macchiato, but if you’re thinking of breakfast, go for the continental. You won’t regret it, and you’ll feel like a true Parisian!

Matthew McLean: Hi management, can I recommend training the new staff on knowing the same price as the sign on the shelf. Tonight, I was overcharged, and your team member needed correcting. This happened another time I went in also. Both times, they refunded the difference, though it took a slight debate. You may need to identify a bum steer the new team members might be getting.

Bonnie Mansley: After a great first dining experience with “The Wharf” we decided to go for a second. What friendly customer service this place has and special mention to Lisa who served us for the evening - great work 😄. Chef Nick - your menu is simply delicious - having the chefs choice both times , there wasn’t a dish that we didn’t like. You provide a unique experience talking with you on both occasions. It’s great when the chef checks in with his guests personally. The Wharf is Highly recommended! 😁

Micaiah Birss: I got the Schnit hot it was good, probably almost as good as you can get for a chicken schnitzel. It could have been hotter though especially because it said "very hot" but in reality it was just hot. I almost had a better time reading the menu than I had eating the food though.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian schnit it probably tastes like schnitParking: It's the city it's gonna be hard to get a parkKid-friendliness: They have got a menu for the little schnitters

Travis Murphy: . It was delicious! 5/5 for the food that landed on the table.Regarding service, the app is tricky at times to order and does not align intuitively with the hard copy menu. Takes some getting used to. My gluten free meal only came out once everyone in our large group had finished. Maybe they forgot, or maybe they were cleaning down the kitchen? Nice people, but service 3/5.The location is great, but was very busy and hard to hear conversation. Acoustics could be improved. We had fun, but you have to be in the mood for a rowdy night
