Paul Kitching: My wife and I decided to have a night away in our own town and this was perfect - brilliant to be so well located to everything. Easy check in and great service. Lovely room too with the loft set up - loved the high ceilings and no issue having the bed upstairs. Massive comfy bed... Lovely team members at every turn. Drinks at bar not cheap but worth it... then a nice easy stroll to dinner nearby... and loved the late 11am check out + fact we could leave our bag there for the day whilst we spent the day in town... so overall yes this was brilliant and would book again. ta!

It’s stylish with art nouveaux design that oozes comfortable luxury unlike many boring hotels that I find lack personality.The rooms are lovely, beds super comfy, showers almost too good-I didn't want to get out! Then there's the bath- it's deep and has a waterfall tap, absolute bliss to have a relaxing soak in after a stressful day. Another thing I really love is their vanity. It's actually a decent length, you can happily display all of your various make-up, hair & toiletry items easily. This is incredibly rare and you're often lucky to have enough room for a toothbrush and have to keep moving toilet bags from the floor..we'll, not here😁 Plus the bathroom light has a dimmer and one of those reversible make-up magnifier mirrors.The chaise lounge finishes off the room nicely with the only potential thing I can think of that wasn't perfect was that I walked into the overhanging light a couple of times but really, it wasn't a problem and I loved the light fixture and table set-up.The staff were all lovely and really helpful and the Manager was great to talk to. Even the cleaning staff happily greeted me whenever I saw them.Make sure you try a complimentary chocolate orange shot while you're there. You help yourself and it's just the Reception desk. It's so rich & delicious and again, another lovely extra touch.The cocktails from the bat were also great and although I didn't get the chance to dine in their restaurant-Luna, it has a great local reputation for breakfast as well as lunch/dinner.I loved everything about this hotel.😁Safety: I went online to an Adelaide group and asked about safety walking around at 7am. All feedback was it was safe and I did it every day and felt completely safe.
Toni Alroy: Stayed for three nights to attend a conference. I’m a lover of all things Art Nouveau so found the decor perfect. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful, keen to share local knowledge and give advice to a first time Adelaide visitor. I was upgraded to a suite which was very unexpected. Bed was dreamy and bathroom was luxe. Hope I get to visit again. Thankyou for a wonderful stay!

David Paul: Sound system was not the best yet I've seen Beats on Parade play at other gigs without sound issues. Maybe replace the cables as whenever the DJ spoke it was this inaudible high pitched shrill. Once the DJ stopped speaking it wasn't too bad despite the system cutting out on one speaker. Once it was stable, it was fine. Don't use an MC if the mics aren't working - trust me, I'm a sound engineer.

Hannah Alison: Gabby was immediately welcoming, so polite and friendly to all of us, good humour too. She is good at what she does!Food was delicious and presented really nicely.Tables were set up nicely, and was comfortably warm even though it’s freezing outside.My daughter had had her first taste of chocolate and approved.. Vegetarian options: I had 2 vegetarian appetisers and both were delicious and decent portions. I noticed a few v/gf options on the menuKid-friendliness: I thank Gabby again for how nice she was to my daughter, immediately getting her a high chair and offering plastic cups without me even asking. Maxine Daly: Attended an event at the Old Mill Hahndorf last night, and what a fantastic show, Faulty towers dinner, with Basil, Manuel and,Sybil. Hysterically funny. And what a fantastic venue.I visited the Old Mill in Hahndorf several years ago. And oh my it was so run down, tired, neglected in need of lots of TLC. We also slept there in one of the chalet rooms, they were not very clean, mattresses were soiled and Old.So last night what a difference, whoever put time and effort and a lot of work, have now transformed the Old Mill back into a beautiful venue, also stayed night in same room as we stayed in several years ago and o what a difference. New mattresses and room was absolutely spotless, perfect nights sleep. Was so over whelmed at what a difference a couple of years has made to the Old Mill, Hahndorf.Whoever took on that tired old building, has done an amazing transformation. My compliments, the whole venue, was in top condition, the staff were so helpful.It is amazing that a place that was so run down, and someone took it on and now is one of the best venues in South Australia..

Yannis Brown: This is the second time I have been here and is a little gem away from the hustle of the main Rundle area and extensions.I had time to kill between appointments, so I sat myself down for a remote work and had an eggs Benedict and coffee .OMG, that gluten-free Benny with salmon is one of the best I have had.Just like I judge a good Dim Sum restaurant, or as we call it here in Australia "Yum Cha", based on its Sui Mai, I equivalate a cafe with its ability to produce a good Eggs Benedict.Super friendly staff and a relaxed, cozy environment. Tables outside, which I also noticed some peope on their laptops as well getting a spot of work in.

Elise Phillis: amazing restaurant, beautiful ambience and attractive and professional staff. we had the beef bourguignon, french onion soup, and escargot. all amazing, the soup is loaded with croutons you don’t even need bread for the table. the escargot were immensely rich and chewy and covered in garlic butter, and the bourguignon was rich and tender. one thing, the place is quite cramped. i haven’t gone during the morning or lunch hours but i can imagine it can get quite loud. for dinner though it was perfect.

Restaurants were beautifully laid out Tunki faces west for sunset Knotts faced east for sunrise absolutely stunning location.

Cathrine Durney: Lovely room very comfortable and the staff were friendly however the restaurant was closed and not serving which was quite an inconvenience after a long day working, the convenience of in house dining and the location is one of reasons I booked, I was also unable to get a receipt for my stay which I found a little strange. Lovely hotel not sure about 5 star status and price tag though

Bev Hanisch: Hello, we stayed here for my 70 th birthday. This establishment made my birthday extra special. I was treated with a bottle of Pinot noir and chocolates. The staff were very welcoming and our room was perfect. The bed was comfy and I will never get a comfy pillow so don’t expect this hotel to fix my problem highly recommend anyone stay here and thoroughly enjoyed the location and wonderful decor. Daneille Turner: . Excellent if one person wants to watch some telly while the other gets some shut eye. The bed was super comfy and made for a great night's sleep. The very large and functional bathroom had an enormous shower, bath and some welcome soft lighting

This time it was quieter and a chance to look around and take in the atmosphere while eating a typical wholesome food that is The Haus trademark. As ever the friendly service and reasonable prices matched the food and drinks. Tanishak Baijal: A great place to have some of the best pizzas in town. We had ordered the garlic bread pizza that had an amazing cheese pull with an equally terrific taste! The veg supremo pizza and the tandoori chicken pizza were a delight to have.If you are looking for some mocktails, do try their apple caramel mocktails! Some of the best mocktail I have had.Our experience was significantly enhanced thanks to Parth, who took excellent care of us throughout our visit!
Rosemary Sacco: Was a bit disappointed with the chicken parmigiana and salad the chicken was nice the coating was a bit hard I had hardly any sauce on my chicken and not much cheese the salad was a bit boring I would have liked tomato and cucumber and onion with it apart from that we all enjoyed our tea thank you the waiters were excellent very polite sweets were very nice thank you made for a good night out
