It was the worst day of my life with all my hair tangled and in the new years busy time I could hardly see any hair dressers. But as they good deeds never go in vain and the God came on earth form me in the form of John ..he was the only person who told me that he could save my hair without leaving me in boy cut āļø which 3 hair dressers probably told me. And John did it, by spending nearly his whole after hours evening especially on a Christmas-New Year weekend he saved my hair..it was a little operation of my hair LOL so I gave him a name 'Dr.John' a hair doctor..couldn't thank him enough for his efforts, time and help. No need for straightening unless you want it to be dead straight. Saves so much time. I used to straighten my hair every day and no longer need to. Also, no ādown timeā post-treatment. Was able to wash my hair that night. Aside from the awesome treatment, you know youāre in good hands with their expertise- and good coffee too!

Itās actually my first time to try this treatment called Magic Sleek and I definitely LOVE it! This is exactly what Iāve been looking for. Everytime after i wash my hair i just dry it off and my hair looks like its been blowdried. So easy to manage now. Itās like a miracle! John Pablo: I hadn't been here for 6 months at which time it was called Dan's Hairdresser and at that time my review was "Greatest mens haircut I've had in my life at a great price, nice vibe, good ethos: happiness!"Now it has changed to "Beauty Empowerment Project" which is a great title. I was a little worried at first whether they still cut guys' hair but I needn't have worried because as soon as I walked in I was made to feel welcome. I'd already washed and conditioned my hair last night so all I needed was a short back and sides. I hadn't had a haircut in 6 months so my hair was overgrown, I feel like I had a bad hair day for the past 3 months!The hairdresser did a fantastic job, carving through my hair jungle with ease, and creating a really nice look, which is not easy to do with my hair, - if you cut my blonde hair too short I look bald, too long and it has no body. This was not too short not too long, good elegant shaping which took many different clippers, combs, and scissors. Nice music, relaxing atmosphere, all for $49.90 - a fair price. I have had more compliments than usual. I feel empowered!I recommend Beauty Empowerment Project to any guy seeking a break from men's barbers - you will appreciate the difference and be glad you made the change!

Not only for the incredible colour skills, but they really have a culture of taking the time to listen and make it a pampers experience all the while being not the most expensive in town.
