Craig Osip: The staff were so friendly, happy to chat but also happy to quietly work if preferred. They really wanted to get to know about you so they knew best what type of cut/colour works best. The salon is surprisingly big and they offer coffee/tea/water while you wait. My hair colour turned out amazing, really natural and was exactly what I didn't know I wanted before walking in. I would definitely go back!

Jorja lim: I've come here a few times now and the colour is always great so that's what the 5 stars are for.However, upon my recent visit I got my hair coloured then blast dried which i thought was fine. TELL me why when I got home I found this molten knot at the end of my hair so bad that I can't even pull it apart to brush it because my hair was fried to its ends its now moulded together. And when I do eventually manage to pull it apart it sounds like static and feels like a burnt barbies hair.Shame I need to find a new salon because my hair usually comes backs silky soft. :[

John Pablo: I hadn't been here for 6 months at which time it was called Dan's Hairdresser and at that time my review was "Greatest mens haircut I've had in my life at a great price, nice vibe, good ethos: happiness!"Now it has changed to "Beauty Empowerment Project" which is a great title. I was a little worried at first whether they still cut guys' hair but I needn't have worried because as soon as I walked in I was made to feel welcome. I'd already washed and conditioned my hair last night so all I needed was a short back and sides. I hadn't had a haircut in 6 months so my hair was overgrown, I feel like I had a bad hair day for the past 3 months!The hairdresser did a fantastic job, carving through my hair jungle with ease, and creating a really nice look, which is not easy to do with my hair, - if you cut my blonde hair too short I look bald, too long and it has no body. This was not too short not too long, good elegant shaping which took many different clippers, combs, and scissors. Nice music, relaxing atmosphere, all for $49.90 - a fair price. I have had more compliments than usual. I feel empowered!I recommend Beauty Empowerment Project to any guy seeking a break from men's barbers - you will appreciate the difference and be glad you made the change!

She didnāt cut my hair straight away but did a small discussion in advance and explained how she was going to cut my hair and why she recommended that style for me. Sheās very considerate while cutting my hair and I really appreciate it. It cost me $40 for the haircut + $10 for hair wash and Iām satisfied with the result!
