This restaurant is located in Henley Beach Rd and is quite easy to find and parking available in the backside of the restaurant. The ambiance was great and the staff and chef were very friendly. Overall the food was amazing and the presentation was up to the mark. I would highly recommend this restaurant to people who love slight innovation to their food. The best part is you can ask the chef to make few changes to your dish and can ask to make something out of the menu.
We went for dinner, as we stepped in the restaurant staff members were so welcoming and delightful(big plus point), our food was great, especially Samosas were so tasty, must try kinda. Ambiance 5/5 Service 5/5 Food 5/5

Kim M: I’m always sceptical when someone claims to be the best at a particular cuisine, but Spice Shot exceeded my expectations and we had a very tasty and enjoyable dinner here last night. The garlic naan was probably the best I’ve had in Adelaide. The bread was light, fluffy and cooked to perfection. It was the perfect accompaniment to dip into their delicious curries. We really enjoyed the Alu Baigan Eggplant and Tandoor Chicken Tikka Masala curries. The chicken was beautifully marinated, tender and juicy. We also ordered the Kashmiri Malai Kofta and Beef Korma which were also good, but not as stand out as the former two dishes. The lamb briyani was just okay as the lamb was a little tough. I’d order naan over the briyani for sure. The service was also friendly, quick and attentive. Overall, we would recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning.

Chris Clarke: Went here on a groupon deal for my birthday with hubby. Whilst the building was old it was very clean. We were amazed at the quality of the meal. All piping hot, papadams, tikka masala, sauces, two main course curries of choice, naam bread, steamed rice and icecream desert to share. Chilled caraffe of water. Total for everything $35.!! Unbelievably good value and service. Lovely waitress. Highly recommended.Close to North Tce trams to city train station. Thankyou New India for a very special birthday outing.

The chicken's got that perfect marinade, Rita's a double dose of refreshment, and the papadum? Crispy heaven. For mains, we picked beef masala and chicken curry – both winners with well-balanced flavors. Beef's got that savory kick, while the chicken's got a hint of sweetness from tomatoes. The meat? Super tender. Rice was on point, fragrant, and the plain nan rocked with the curry. Finished it off with homemade mango ice cream – creamy, dreamy, and the crushed pistachio added a nice crunch. Overall, a bang-for-your-buck and oh-so-yummy experience!

Foodie Files Melbourne: We visited Jasmine for dinner which is a lovely little spot, intimate and dimly lit with an impressive atmosphere. Indian as a cuisine generally seems to offer fine dining as a rarity or incredibly casual venues with nowhere in between but this straddles the two as an excellent middle ground.We had samosas which didn’t seem particularly traditional to me and the chicken tikka which was a small serve with a kick to it. Each main comes with an individual plate of rice but naturally we had to order an ingenious blue cheese naan also. I enjoyed the eggplant dish, the lamb korma and the butter chicken. Was it my favourite ever Indian no but it was certainly tasty

Gary Niblock: A stunning restaurant with a beautiful ambience. I had the Punjabi lamb tandoori and it was delicious along with the daal and rice. The naan was also perfect. I'd also like to add that the service was excellent and felt very personal despite being a first-time customer from interstate. I'd definitely come back again next time I'm in Adelaide.

Claire Page: Really lovely food with lots of choices. Plenty of vegetarian options for those who need them. The lamb curry was really good and the roti was fantastic. There are banquets for sharing available. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The restaurant is on The Parade and parking was a bit difficult but if you are lucky you might get a park in their carpark but it is quite small but otherwise you can park nearby.

We had the Malai Tikka, Hara Bhara Kebab and Chicken 65 for starters. Excellent the kids wiped most it out. The main course we had Bhindi, Old Delhi butter chicken and Dal Makhani. Fantastic. We packed some leftovers and enjoyed it once again at home. JRM: My favourite Indian restaurant in Adelaide, and I’ve tried a fair few. The staff are always so kind and friendly. They give us papadums and delicious mint yoghurt while we wait for our meals. The garlic naans are delicious, and the curries are full of flavour. While I’ve tried many of the curries, the chicken tikka masala and garlic naan is a divine combination. Food and service have been consistently great over the past 3 years, that I’ve returned numerous times.
