Dakota Hampton: Ordered a family pizza meal deal and asked for garlic sauce on the side, the food came was amazing but they forgot the garlic sauce, because everything else was perfect I wasn't to fazed but 10 minutes later the delivery driver had come back to my door without me asking with the biggest smile on his face and my garlic sauce. Chris Clarke: Went here on a groupon deal for my birthday with hubby. Whilst the building was old it was very clean. We were amazed at the quality of the meal. All piping hot, papadams, tikka masala, sauces, two main course curries of choice, naam bread, steamed rice and icecream desert to share. Chilled caraffe of water. Total for everything $35.!! Unbelievably good value and service. Lovely waitress. Highly recommended.Close to North Tce trams to city train station. Thankyou New India for a very special birthday outing.
Sohthirsty: We snagged a Groupon deal for some grub, getting chicken tikka, rita, and papadum to kick things off. The chicken's got that perfect marinade, Rita's a double dose of refreshment, and the papadum? Crispy heaven. For mains, we picked beef masala and chicken curry – both winners with well-balanced flavors. Beef's got that savory kick, while the chicken's got a hint of sweetness from tomatoes. The meat? Super tender. Rice was on point, fragrant, and the plain nan rocked with the curry. Finished it off with homemade mango ice cream – creamy, dreamy, and the crushed pistachio added a nice crunch. Overall, a bang-for-your-buck and oh-so-yummy experience!

Most people provide excellent services but some don’t.Today I was ordered two coffees, i asked to the lady to give less ice for my coffee but she is give more ice. We had Amritsari kulcha here which tasted pretty close to street food style which is good but even after requesting to not make it spicy it was extremely hot. So first impression didn't go that well but maybe we'll give it another try and see how we go. Customer service was good.

Kim M: I’m always sceptical when someone claims to be the best at a particular cuisine, but Spice Shot exceeded my expectations and we had a very tasty and enjoyable dinner here last night. The garlic naan was probably the best I’ve had in Adelaide. The bread was light, fluffy and cooked to perfection. It was the perfect accompaniment to dip into their delicious curries. We really enjoyed the Alu Baigan Eggplant and Tandoor Chicken Tikka Masala curries. The chicken was beautifully marinated, tender and juicy. We also ordered the Kashmiri Malai Kofta and Beef Korma which were also good, but not as stand out as the former two dishes. The lamb briyani was just okay as the lamb was a little tough. I’d order naan over the briyani for sure. The service was also friendly, quick and attentive. Overall, we would recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning.

Glenn Errington: Haven't been here for a while. Chef is very good. Prices reasonable. Will try again. A little slow at picking up off the pass with not many customers. Room for tweaks by an energetic manager but then again it was 0700 Sunday morning so I would be a bit tired too if I had been working all morning 😅 p.s. couldn't taste the "added malt" in the milk shake. Very skimpy on the "whipped butter". These little things are noticed. Overall not bad.

Geetha Surendran: We went there as a family for dinner 6 months ago. Looks like the restaurant is temporarily closed and dont know where they have reopened. Their food was done from scratch and absolutely good quality. Does take 20 to 30 min easily but worth the wait. Jun Yeong Son: I am a Korean who love Indian food especially biryani.The chef, Thamo is one of the professional cooks I have met.This is because he is trying to offer the best quality of cuisine with fresh ingrediants. It was impressed that he took at least 30 mins for cooking the biryani. I ordered a chicken and goat biryani and it was the best cuisine ever. He put best effort to serve the homemade biryani. Moreover, the chef, Thamo and his wife offered the cuisine with polite and smile at all time. They was happy to explain the food's ingrediants and how to eat traditionally. That was amazing expericence for me. It was priceless opertunity to learn how to enjoy the cuisine with the traditional way.I am living in Melboure, once I have chance to visit Adelaide definatley will visit the resturant again. Hands down the best authentic south indian food we have had in Adelaide served by a humble family! Lip smacking idiyappam with Chicken Kuruma, More Kozhambu, Mini Idlis and Sambar Vadai. Thoma's speciality dessert C-cube was phenomenal! We'd love to go back here...
Raghu Gorla: I have been trying to have food at this place for a while now, people say empty vessels make more noise, I can confidently say that it’s true here. There are many restaurants in adelaide who promote themselves as authentic South Indian food though they are not. Taste of the South India is the best place to have South Indian food. I definitely recommend it to everyone. I had Sambar Idli from this place which remembered my college days in Chennai and home made sambar Idli. I will try all other dishes on their menu for sure.

The seating area is small, probably 8 to 10 people tops, so best to call to book ahead ,as I I found out that the online booking doesn't actually work. Lovely little gem to give a go. Rishabh Mitra: LOVED the bite sized pizza instead of the triangles!Highly recommend the pizza with chorizo on it!The pizza was quite light and not overly heavy on the dough.The staff there are so sweet and nice. Love their enthusiasm.Will definitely visit the next time I’m in Adelaide.
