Jennifer Marshall: Sad history for this Zoo, especially for George the Orangatan and various incidents that occurred from its inception. There was a wide and varied display of animals in clean enclosures. Enclosures could be much larger but I understand it's hard when there's only a limited amount of Zoo property. Overall, the amenities were great, the staff were informative and polite and the entrance fees were reasonable.

Jonathan Hu: Happy birthday Wangwang and Funi! Proudly as a lifetime member of Adelaide Zoo, I booked a flight all the way from Sydney to Adelaide in the last week of August 2024 to celebrate their birthday before they go back to China. And the giant pandas definitely make Adelaide Zoo the best zoo in Australia! They are so cute and adorable! I’m even thinking about moving to Adelaide so that I can go here every one or two days. The other animals such as little blue penguins are lovely as well.

Ebony Adams: My favourite part was the bats in the trees outside the zoo. Bats forever have my heart. I love bats #teambatsforeverVisited on Public holiday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Louise Boyd: Good experience for little children. A little pricey for what it is.

Olivia Todd: . Extra activities such as pony rides occur on weekends.

Keith Green: Great time for all of us...well recommended.

Cora Hodges: Defs come here for the animals and rides and kid experiences. Coffee is not fantastic and there’s not much in the way of purchased food- plenty of seating for family picnics though!

Bianca Hadi: Was such a good experience seeing all the animals and being able to interact with them! And also getting to feed the baby lambs 😍😍

Lesa Groves: Great place to take the kids - really low key which is perfect for our children. There's also a good playground and tractor heaven for kids into that.

Kelly Holloman: A lovely destination for nature enthusiasts. The park features diverse wildlife, including koalas and kangaroos, which are a highlight. The walking trails are pleasant, though some could benefit from better signage. The views from certain points are quite nice, providing a peaceful atmosphere. Facilities are adequate, with clean restrooms and picnic areas. It’s a great place for a relaxed day trip, but if you’re looking for more challenging hikes, you might find the trails here a bit easy. Overall, it's a solid choice for a nature getaway.

Brian LeBlanc: Cleland National Park is a good spot for nature lovers. The trails are straightforward and offer pleasant views of the surrounding landscape. Seeing native wildlife is a nice touch, though it can get a bit crowded during peak times. Facilities are basic but sufficient for a day trip. It's a solid option if you're looking for a local nature experience, but don’t expect solitude during busy periods.

Marian Kelly: Amazing place, loved getting up close to the animals.

Krystina Ebsary: I took my children here for a family day out. They all had an amazing time and loved the snake holding experience. Will definitely come back again in the future.

Liisa Grace Baun: Excellent hiking trail with stunning scenic views. There are plenty of rest stops along the way from Waterfall Gully to Mt Lofty. While some parts are steep, they don't last long.

Lillian Pais: Nature at its best

Long Vu: Fresh air, very nice park with Kangaroo, Koala and other Aussie animals, nice experience for family with kids. Recommend to spend about 90mins here on the trip to Hahndorf

Michael Rigby: What is there to say, that hasn’t already been mentioned before in all the 5 start reviews.Mandy and Steven, you should be extremely proud of the level in accomodation you provide. The luxurious feeling you get, as soon as you enter the cottage, it’s the little touches that make you feel like you never want to leave.Thank you Mandy for ease of everything. We will definitely be back but for longer next time

Tate Stuchbery: Stayed in villa lemoni. Beautiful and picturesque location, great amenities, has everything you need!

Jane Hebden: Every amenity was brilliant & lovely local produceDefinitely 5 a star experience⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Thank you

Dani L: This is our second visit to Mandy & Steve’s luxury villas and we wish we could move in! What a slice of heaven. Villa Lemoni is cosy and homely with touches of luxury like underfloor heating, a huge spa bath, the most comfortable king size bed and stunning views of the private gardens - particularly beautiful in autumn! The breakfast provisions are so generous you barely have the need to leave the house. We enjoyed multiple nights curled up in front of the fireplace and days enjoying the garden and peacefulness of the area. If you are after a relaxing and indulgent escape to the hills, look no further. We can’t wait to return here again. Thanks Mandy & Steve! ~ Dani

R: Can't recommend this place enough. We stayed at the Lemoni Villa and it was as beautiful as the photos. The property is very tranquil, the owners were lovely. The house is beautifully decorated and equipped with every comfort you could desire. A two person spa with rain shower head above, a fireplace, nespresso machine, a fridge full of local goodies all surrounded by a beautiful garden and a little lemon farm.

Chelsea Malcolm: My husband and I stayed at The Nest for 2 nights after our wedding last week and we absolutely LOVED it! We arrived very late after our wedding and Steve and Mandy had the heater going and the heated bathroom tiles on for our arrival, which was a lovely touch. They have thought of every single detail here, and we didn’t have to leave for anything. It was the perfect space to relax in. The views of the hills are incredible and there is so much space to relax outside. The breakfast provisions were extremely generous, we couldn’t finish it all over the 2 days!! We wish we got to spend more time there! We will absolutely be back. Thank you so much Steve and Mandy for going above and beyond and making our stay so special 😍

Matt Smith: as well as towns with pubs and restaurants. Nothing was more than 10 mins in the car, though there are even more options if you're prepared to range further out.

kealan ranford: Good day out, despite the weather not being great. Had a great time at our "fluff & stuff" encounter, had a good wander around the park, fed some roos, met a very friendly emu & even saw a platypus.

Alannah Mehaffey: We visited today with our 3 kids and had a fantastic day. Harry the keeper was the highlight of our day out today, he was so informative and friendly and a special mention to how kind and inclusive he was with our son with some additional needs. Our boy Seb adores animals and Harry went above and beyond to make sure he felt welcomed and included. Thanks Harry for being awesome! Warrawong are lucky to have you 😊

St Raphael's School, Parkside: It was an incredible day at Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary as part of our school's Cultural Immersion Program! Our visiting Chinese students got up close and personal with some of Australia's most iconic wildlife, including snakes, lizards, koalas, kangaroos, emus, and so much more. This hands-on experience allowed everyone to learn about the unique animals that call Australia home in a beautiful natural setting.Warrawong is not just a sanctuary; it’s a vital part of Australia’s conservation history, providing a real wildlife experience. Our students participated in engaging activities, including wildlife shows and reptile handling, making unforgettable memories.

Frances Mills: 16th June 2024. Lovely place, beautiful. The emu stole our hearts and would have loved to take him home. Beautiful tranquil spot.

Wendy Harris: A truly memorable experience to share with our international guests today. The owners are true conservationists, working so hard to rescue and care for Australian wildlife. At the same time, they share their vast knowledge of our wildlife with enthusiasm. Plenty of kangaroos, emus, koalas etc to interact with, in a beautiful natural and well maintained setting, conveniently close to the main drag in Hanhdorf. I highly recommend Warrawong. If you have the chance, go and visit! Fabulous!!

Cindy Rellaz: This is one of the only sanctuarys I've been to where the animals are actually looked after properly! Even the parrots cage was extremely clean. Absolutely adored the cafe with the glass view of birds. Beautiful walk and scenery. A must see if visiting Adelaide.

Igor Sochkan: Beautiful wildlife sanctuary, such a great place to visit, fun and safe for kids and adults. Will be back here again

I would highly recommend this experience, worth every penny!

Theadora Vogels: Amazing place I love seeing all of the animals and feeding the kangaroos and the emu

Jessie Bowley: Did the Raptor Encounter here. Was amazing. They have 3 owls, a falcon & a beautiful young wedge tail eagle that are all gorgeous. The bird handler Amy was very nice & even gendered me as female. Which was very unexpected because I never tell people I am transgender or expect to be seen or acknowledged as such, but very appreciative 🙂 The kangaroos are so gentle with feeding & incredibly good with human interaction & petting. Wonderful place. Can't recommend it enough.

Sonya Love: A wonderful , welcoming sanctuary..the kangaroos , emus and Cape barren geese were all very gentle with the kids ..The friendly enthusiastic rangers were very educational in showing us the dingos, reptiles , koalas and talking koalas..An interatactive experience ..saw lots of turtlesin their ponds and will be back another time to try to see the elusive platypus ..Def worth visiting.

mandyGoTravelling: .The Gallery is renowned for its collections of Australian art, including indigenous Australian and colonial art, from about 1800 onwards. The collection is strong in nineteenth-century works

Jon Turn: Visiting this Art Gallery was a rewarding experience. The gallery houses an impressive range of artworks, with a strong focus on Australian art. The space is thoughtfully organized, and the staff are accommodating. However, some of the exhibits felt somewhat disjointed, lacking thematic coherence. The gallery's historical pieces are particularly noteworthy, but the modern art sections could use more context and explanation. Overall, it's a pleasant outing for art enthusiasts, though improvements could enhance the visit.

Rebecca Chaudhary: Easy to visit by tram and walking. Nice historical looking building. I saw the King Henry viii inspired gallery and it is beautiful. There is gallery shop. If you want to relax In beautiful surroundings this is definitely the place to go. Oh how I wish I knew about AL RU before I got married it would have been my dream wedding destination.

Audrey Gilrain: I booked here for something a little different for our 4 days in Adelaide over Christmas. We loved it. We arrived on Christmas day and the owner went out of her way to being us a "care package" with turkey and roast vegetables so that wed have something to eat on Christmas night. It was so appreciated. The room was really unusual and so spacious. The bed and bedding was super comfortable and the breakfast is completely worthwhile. Fabulous bacon, free range eggs and tomato - it was great to be able to get up and make our brekkie in our room when we were ready and to just chill out. The gardens are just fabulous - you can see the time, love and care that the owners have put into them over many years to create the wonderful ambience and environment. I loved the pool - which was heated and lovely to swim in. The whole stay was very relaxing and I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

Sathis kumar: Mini Beautiful Garden

Drew's Adventures: Beautiful place and lots of varieties of plants and quaint pondsPlayground: No playgroundRestrooms: No toiletDog-friendliness: Dog friendlyPicnic area: Some benches to have a picnic or the Zen rock area

Chakravarthy Venkatachalam: What a serene environment, just go there and sit listening to the water and it is like meditating

Pirouz Poursasan: Small tranquil area in the heart of Adelaide CBD just to give you a moment of peace in Japanese style.

Winnie Wong: Beautiful tranquil space.Quiet environment to rest and meditate.Very well maintained.

shaira noshin: It was small but peaceful to take a walk and enjoy the beauty of it.

Bianca Hadi: I actually loved visiting here, it's so nice and peaceful for a little stroll and to just sit and take in the scenery and noises

Wow Houseboats: Adelaide's Himeji Garden is a serene and beautifully designed Japanese garden located in the heart of the city. Opened in 1985, this garden is a symbol of the sister-city relationship between Adelaide and Himeji in Japan. It features traditional Japanese landscape elements, including tranquil koi ponds, meticulously manicured plants, and elegant stone pathways. The garden is divided into two main sections: the Shinto-inspired garden, which highlights the beauty of simplicity and natural harmony, and the more formal garden, showcasing classic Japanese landscaping techniques.

マロンパンケーキ: It was a very well-maintained and small garden, but it was a perfect and wonderful Japanese garden. Plants and flowers were all Japanese gardens themselves. I was impressed.

Kwangil Jeon: A beautiful park in Adelaide. It made me feel like I was in Japan for a short while.

Amber: smaller than i remember, but that’s not the garden’s fault at all. if you come on a good day, the garden is incredibly scenic & quiet. the big pond in the middle of the garden has turtles that often pop up & sucks that fly into the water. however, when it’s busy, the atmosphere is ruined fairly quickly

Cherie Green: Just so beautiful & relaxing
