Victoria Bourgonjen: This is my favourite outdoor shop in Adelaide! I've bought a lot of items in here over the years, including a pair of Scarpa hiking shoes today and the staff have always been friendly, helpful and knowledgeable without being pushy. It's a good idea to make this shop your first port of call if you need outdoor gear!
Bas Kirmani: While I didn't find exactly what I was looking for today, the advice and help from Bodhi and Ned was top notch; left informed and uplifted. Noting the shop is owned by the Scouts association, it had a friendly feel with an emphasis on technical integrity. Will certainly come back in future. Cheers guys!

Tee Jay: Loading the vehicle for a trip tomorrow when the 12v Engel lead wasn’t working. Horror! Thinking that the fault was either the 2nd battery power box, the Engel lead or the fridge, I went over the Alberton BCF to see if I could test run new leads. The staff were sensational, trying various leads and adapters in unsuccessful attempts to fix it, when it was suggested by one that it might be the fuse. Checked that at home and that was it. In my panic I’d overlooked the obvious. Instant relief and my trip is back on track and the beers will be cold. Very helpful, as always - thanks.

If you like that wholesome community feel with very well thought out climbs, then ABC is where you need to go.The climbs there are so diverse. Roof, vertical, slab and overhang. Many flowy climbs that just feel so cool. Whenever I climbed there it felt like a really good challenge.Also extremely friendly staff who are always helpful. Anytime I needed any help or advice they were fantastic.Cannot wait to come back to Adelaide and climb here again!

Hidden Smile: Nate was excellent. Have to give credit where credit is due these days as customer service is dying. Nate said he would look into a sleeping bag enquiry and price match. He asked me to leave my details and he would get back to me once he had done some research etc. Sure enough, 30 minutes later he called me back with good news. I went to collect my items and Nate was again all to happy to show me how to do everything, then packed up everything for me. Price match saved me $180 on 2 sleeping bags.Very happy with BCF Mount Barker and Nate for a great experience
