I figured the store was short staffed - hopefully management will read this note. Good people are hard to find, Trevor could deal with some support? Tee Jay: Loading the vehicle for a trip tomorrow when the 12v Engel lead wasn’t working. Horror! Thinking that the fault was either the 2nd battery power box, the Engel lead or the fridge, I went over the Alberton BCF to see if I could test run new leads. The staff were sensational, trying various leads and adapters in unsuccessful attempts to fix it, when it was suggested by one that it might be the fuse. Checked that at home and that was it. In my panic I’d overlooked the obvious. Instant relief and my trip is back on track and the beers will be cold. Very helpful, as always - thanks.

Sonia Ennals: I needed camping car fluids. Got a good welcome and was shown where to look. Some of the staff on the shop floor are bit grumpy but a useful store for camping and leisure camping / sports clothes and gear

Bec Henderson: On 21/10/2023 my partner and I visited this store after going to other local camping stores for a day out. We live in Goolwa Beach so we wanted to make the most of being the area and looking at a few different stores. We asked a team member inside to show us a demo of one of the Dune Roof Top tents and the first team member asked somebody else to assist who had more experience. Jordan helped us and answered all of our questions in a lovely, kind patient manner. He didn't seem bothered by the time he spent with us and took the time to properly explain the product and accessories. We weren't there to buy, only research but if we lived closer and were ready for this product, we would have loved to purchase it from Jordan. My partner and I both come from sales and know exceptional customer service when it's presented to us. Well done Jordan, I hope you get the recognition you deserve from your managers. Thanks again!
Steven Hitchman: I've always been a fan of Anaconda since the first one popped up at Mile End. This store is laid out much better, in my opinion. But they're all basically the same. Very similar to BCF, but with a bigger emphasis on 4WD products. As well as rock climbing gear.

Carol Williams: It’s true about ‘wandering’ around before you’re offered help. But once we asked for help and got it, he was an amazing assistant by the name of Damian. He spent time listening to our problem before offering a solution talking us through what we needed to do in case we had to bring our jockey wheel back. He was very helpful friendly and polite. He then took us to the checkout and completed the sale offering also to carry our goods to the car. We could manage this ourselves but how kind that was. It’s a busy store so customers need to be prepared and have patience.Anyway Damian is a credit to BCF.Thank you
