Kosta Soumelidis: Dr Dan has been outstanding pre and post surgery. He’s extremely clear and kind and has been exceptionally thorough when answering my questions, helping me to understand my surgical procedure. I have been a yoga teacher and practitioner for over 25 years and have to say that after my shoulder surgery I’m able to get back to practising and teaching yoga without any pain or discomfort.I cannot recommend Dr Dan highly enough.The staff at Focus are also always helpful and nice.

Andrew Wilson: Surgery is serous business and Dr Dan and his staff are the epitome of what a surgeons practice should be. I couldn’t believe how well Dr Dan understood my situation. Lyn Page: I cannot recommend Dr Dan enough for Shoulder Replacement Surgery. He is a caring surgeon that has the patient’s welfare at heart. I had heard many horror stories about shoulder surgery and the recovery period although thanks to Dr Dan this proved to be unfounded. His directions for recovery including those to Physiotherapists are clearly set out in writing. Even though I am now going to be living interstate I would not hesitate to return to Dr Dan should my other shoulder need surgery. Thank you Dr Dan

Nicole Stewart: To my surprise, this gallery turned out to be quite remarkable. The collection featured stunning artwork in a variety of styles, from Impressionist and Dada to Chinese, Renaissance, religious, and contemporary. Jennifer Price: My experience with Dr Bauze and staff at Sportsmed and Burnside Hospital -Stepney was outstanding.The reception staff were very friendly and professional.The staff in the pre- operative area were also very professional and helpful in creating a relaxed atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed the cozy warm towelling robe and non-slip slippers! Meeting my anaesthetist and Dr Bauze, having everything well explained, was another highlight of my experience.Post operative care was excellent. Everything l needed was provided with smiles and exceptional care.Physiotherapist gave clear instructions, which was much appreciated.Post operative follow up call from Dr Bauze was reassuring and completed the whole experience.I have no hesitation in referring Sportsmed and Burnside Hospital -Stepney, to anyone who is requiring treatment/surgery.Jennifer McArdle.

I am very pleased with the outcome of both surgical procedures.Dr Bauze was excellent, I am very pleased with the outcome of the surgery. Happy to recommend him for this procedure.BURNSIDE Sportsmed Hospital was also excellent, I had both procedures done at this hospital. I cannot fault them at all. Service, food and physio were all great. Very convenient to have chemist, xray and coffee shop in the same area.

Andreas Kunzel: On the 19th of February Dr Bauze and his team at Burnside Stepney performed a total left Hip Replacement, on the 22nd I walked out of the hospital with the aid of a walking stick, today the 28th for follow up appointment Dr Bauze was very pleased with the results, I must say so am I, no more pain apart from a slight discomfort and able to walk unaided, I must say I still use a walking stick for my own extra precautions. I started seeing Dr Teo because my previous gastroenterologists brushed off my concerns. Dr Teo took the time to listen to me and asked a lot of questions. He is brilliant. He found the problem. He is very thorough and has a wonderful bedside manner. He deserves more than 5 stars. This rating also applies to his lovely staff..
I can't recommend Dr Teo enough. He's knowledgable, intelligent, articulate, humorous and cares about his patients. Both my partner and I have seen him for different conditions and the diagnoses, advice and treatment has been excellent. Not to criticize other peoples opinions but I find it hard to see how he wouldn't get 5 stars from every patient.
Dr Edward Teo is a Gastroenterologist and interventional endoscopist. He graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2000 and completed his advance training in Gastroenterology in 2007. This included 2 years of interventional endoscopy training and ERCP accreditation with Professor Ian Roberts-Thompson.
His main areas of interest include colorectal cancer screening, the evaluation and management of reflux disease and dyspepsia, irritable bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel disease. He has an interest in gastrointestinal bleeding, advanced polypectomy, endoscopic mucosal resection ( colonic and oesophageal ) and enteral stenting. He performs upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy, single balloon enteroscopy and ERCP.
Dr Edward Teo has regular procedure list at Calvary North Adelaide Hospital, Calvary Central Districts Hospital, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Murray Bridge Hospital.

Matt “Tex” Walker: Dr Dang has an interesting style of practising but I find it refreshing. It is great to see a doctor being blunt and telling you how it is, as this is one of the better ways that you are going to know that he means business, not to mention that you are going to get a useful diagnosis. I therefore find Dr Dang's style of being straight to the point and blunt as a large sledgehammer useful. He is also well prepared, as ha always has my documents and other paraphernalia ready for when I attend my appointment. Also, many doctors and specialists out there 'sugar coat' and 'molly-coddle' patients when a firm hand is needed. The fact that he got me to have a sleep study straightaway, with very little questioning told me that he had an idea about what I had, but wanted the hard evidence to back that idea up. I am not fond of doctors who use 'hunches' and 'guesswork' without getting tests or scans done to back these things up.Dr Dang may be at times a little bit strong with his manner, but I really don't mind that at all.All in all, I never have a bad experience when I see Dr Dang and I will continue to see him. 8.9/10

It was prefixed by the "Royal" in 1939. In 2017 it was replaced by the new hospital, built at the western end of North Terrace. The redevelopment on the site of the old RAH is known as Lot Fourteen.
