Mark Page: RIP. Was a good place to eat.

Peter Mader: Good food, always fresh , attentive service. Everything you want in a sushi train .Unfortunately closing soon

Virginia Ho: This is by far a really good Sushi Train in comparison with the other franchisees around Australia. Rice is at the right moisture and plump. Fish is fresh. High turn over and there were loads of people.

Fero Cerri: Always a delight to dine in. Lot's of variety to try and enjoy. Always fresh.

Jon Hunter: Not a fan of sushi, so luckily they have loads of food that i like: karage chicken, katsu chicken curry, teriaki chicken, spring rolls, gyozas.... all freshly cooked and really cheap too

A Team: Good value for money. Sushi was fresh and tasted great. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Philip Harvey: Top Sushi. Staff very nice.

Olivia: Busy on a Friday evening. Very friendly staff, fair pricing, delicious tasting sushi with a reasonable alternative diet menu.

KoKo Black: Staffs are friendly, food are fresh.

ROY HUBBARD: Great food great service, will go back

Elijah Toon: Friendly staff and clean restaurant. Menu lacked a few typical items you would like to see in a restaurant like this.

B L: Great food

Huu Kim Le: I went with a colleague from the RAH. Pleasantly surprised. Had the lunch special teriyaki beef with extra egg yolk was divine. So filling with seaweed salad side dish and miso complimentary. Owner was delightful. Would come again. Colleague had sushi rolls which were double the size of the ones he normally gets in the hospital food court.

Scott Harvey: and Kingfish Carpaccio are to die for!! A staple for us now. Thank you to Yen for her friendly vibe and also her team for creating fine authentic Japanese food at the right price!Vegetarian options: As an ex Vego, the tofu and vegetable options are just amazingParking: Plenty of parking on and off street

Brad Wombat: The water had a powdery overtone with bitter flavour with a slight sweetness the nostalgia of the drink is scarred by the excessive change in temperature and air accessThe dumpling were good the rough chopping added a stronger flavour and the juices made the bite more smoothThe sushi had a deluxe range of flavourIt was well seasoned and the meat was soft and tender with a nice sticky rice and the bold choice of snow peas which worked pleasantly

Ben R: We recently dined at Sushi Planet. We found the food to be excellent and reasonable value. Service was pretty good, but could be improved. The seats were quite uncomfortable and I was sore the next day from the hard, stiff seating.Parking: Small on site parking and street parking with meters - paid or free depending on time of day.

Marina Papageorgakis: Can't wait to go back and enjoy this place again.Kid-friendliness: Great kids meals with variety of choices

Ginza Miyako Japanese Restaurant: what do users think?

Chee T: I recently had an incredible dining experience at Ginza Miyako, a Japanese restaurant that offers an all-you-can-eat menu. Despite the all-you-can-eat format, the quality of the food was outstanding. Every dish was prepared with great attention to detail and presented beautifully. From the fresh sashimi and sushi to the deliciously tender grilled meats, every bite was a delight. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring our glasses were always full and our plates promptly cleared. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal with friends or family.

Linda J: Recommend to try the new Japanese buffet😍😍As much as Sashimi and Wagyu beef you can eat, but not only for those. Menu options on menu and no limited but only for $78/pp. Look that big boat🤣 Also they have Wagyu beef hotpot with four soup base you can choose. Food are Fresh and refreshing! Atmosphere is high classic and specially can choose sit at wooden tatami😌

Tamara Wilton: Went to Ginza Miyako for a friend's birthday dinner.Another friend and myself ordered the sushi boat made vegan. It was bought out on two small boats, and everything was delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was great as we were able to chat without any loud background noise to compete with.It is more on the expensive side, but definitely worth it if you want a special night out.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options and a small vegan menu.Dietary restrictions: They have vegetarian options and a small vegan menu. I believe they will do their best to cater to dietary requirementsParking: There are several paid parking lots nearby, no free parking nearby though.

Tom Buck: I went here with my friend earlier today. It was a great experience. The food was delicious. The service was impeccable. The waitress was perfect! Everything about this restaurant was so good. I really enjoyed the calm and welcoming atmosphere. The music in the background was very relaxing. Despite being situated on a busy street in Adelaide city, entering this restaurant felt like being transported to a quiet little place in Kyoto. Fantastic experience! Thank you!

sahanmalee peellawattage: The food is excellent for the price, offering a great variety and high quality. The service provided by two Japanese women were amazing—attentive, friendly, and very professional. I will definitely visit again and again. To top it off, they surprised us with a special dessert for my partner's birthday, making our stay even more memorable. Highly recommended!

Liisa Grace Baun: We were looking for somewhere to go and eat on our way to a show and came across this lovely Japanese restaurant. The atmosphere is very pleasant and quiet, the staff were very friendly and the food was absolutely delicious! If we weren't in a hurry we would have also tried a dessert.Next time!

Shiki Japanese Restaurant: what do users think?

Kristen S: The setting of this restaurant is fantastic and the service we received from both the waiter and teppanyaki chef were great. Food was good, but not worth the price point in my opinion. We spent $380 here, being the most expensive teppanyaki we have had, however the food quality was not as good as we have experienced elsewhere. Delicious nonetheless, but you can get better teppanyaki elsewhere for a much more reasonable price.

Allan Smith: After going to a game of footy in Adelaide and watching my team win, there’s nothing like celebrating at a nice restaurant like the Shiki, Adelaide's Award Winning Japanese Teppanyaki Restaurant located at the InterContinental Adelaide. This is where you can immerse yourself in authentic Japanese teppanyaki in the heart of Adelaide. Headed by Shiki Chef de Cuisine, Kenny Trinh, where the team have created a delicious menu of truly succulent sushi, sashimi… and the list goes on and on. They are without a doubt, the ‘best of the best’, and proud to showcase South Australian produce. The menu is extensive like the wine list, however I strongly suggest you try the sushi and sashimi selection, prawn tempura, wagyu beef, bok choy and snow peas, vegetable fried rice and miso soup, and for dessert the mango mousse with coconut jelly. All complimented with the traditional Japanese wine, sake. What more can I say - everything was tasty, juicy and cooked to perfection. Staff were friendly and professional, and everything else was cosy and romantic. Very Highly Recommended 👏👍😊

Tim Wright: Can’t recommend this restaurant enough, I absolutely love every aspect of itRecommended dishes Prawn Tempura, Three Dipping Sauces, Sashimi Plate …

龍希: delicious! ️ Thank you ^_^ See you next timeKid-friendliness: Very friendly staff

Edo Scheffer: Takumi Yakitori in Adelaide is an absolute gem! From the moment you step through the familiar Japanese cloths at the door, you are welcomed with warmth and friendliness. The service is impeccable, and the staff goes out of their way to make your evening perfect. The food is simply delicious; every yakitori is prepared with care. Fortunately not all you can eat!But what really impresses is Eddie, the fantastic owner. He takes the time to guide you through the menu, passionately explains about the different sakes they serve and makes every guest feel special. An evening at Takumi Yakitori is not just going out for dinner, it is an experience that will stay with you for a long time.

M T: Yakitori Takumi holds a special place in my heart as an Adelaide institution where I've been dining for over a decade. Its intimate and cozy atmosphere creates the perfect setting for enjoying their authentic Japanese-style BBQ skewers, ideal for sharing. What sets Yakitori Takumi apart is not only its delicious food but also its incredible Saké collection. The staff's expertise in recommending the right Saké to complement your meal adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience.

Jason Mercanti: Love this RestaurantEddy and his team serve delicious food with superior service and a wonderful atmosphereComming back thank you Guys!!!!

Engin Toker: 23/03/2024 - Returned to Yakitori Takumi again the other week before catching a fringe show, and once again, it was an exceptional experience. The food was simply incredible, and the sake selection was truly impressive. However, what truly sets this place apart is the unparalleled level of customer service. Words cannot do justice to the warmth and attentiveness of the staff. It's refreshing to see such a well-established restaurant thriving in the distinctive Adelaide dining scene. Added some photos to showcase the experience. Highly recommend a visitYakitori Takumi is an excellent Japanese restaurant with impeccable service and delicious food. The whole experience was top notch and friendly staff made for a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The recommended sake was awesome and added to the overall experience. Highly recommend!

C: AMAZING! WOULD RECOMMEND!!A friend and I initially went here a month or so ago. My friend ordered the rare beef pho and I ordered a dumpling laksa. First laksa I have had in ages and we asked if the chef could make it mild. Boy did they deliver!! Both dishes had so much flavour, nice and hot while we sat under the warm heater on a cold day!! The serving sizes exelled my expectations too. I think this will be our new favourite lunch place! Very good value for money, we spent no more than $65, 3 dishes, 1 entree and 3 drinks. Thank you for the lovely lunch and for being accommodating. We will be back!Edit: We have come back a couple of times and recently I got takeaway where the quality was just as good as it is in the restaurant! I got crispy chicken pho and would also recommend! Can't wait to bring more friends/family here, this place is honestly a gem in Salisbury and our new favourite outing!!

Charity Clark: Very relaxed. Great price. Try the pork ramen it's amazing. We go here often as it so well priced, kids love it and there's a great variety to choose from.. but choose the pork ramen. It's the best. I started eating it before I took photos. Sorry. UPDATE: went again over the weekend, still the same view and added a couple of extra photos including the karaage chicken curry. Wow! The stone bowl is like lava... ne careful but keeps the curry sizzling for so long. Must try!!!!

Sarah Avery: Came here for lunch and enjoyed some pho and spicy pork ramen. The service was amazing and the staff were really friendly. The ramen was great and had a good level of spice. The pho was amazing, not as traditional as some other places, however was a beautiful beef broth with a slight hint of smokiness. We will definitely be back! Parking: There is a free parking lot, with some time limits but there are 2 hour parksWheelchair accessibility: No stairs required to enter the restaurant, plenty of space around tables to move.

Zoe Renshaw: Love this place. Has the most delicious food that will make you question why you don’t come more often. Owner is the sweetest person ever and I loved chatting to her about her new plans for the menu over some new options making a come back. I come here every year for a birthday dinner for the best meatball pho and never regret it. Amazing

coconut oil: we ordered a small rear beef and a large rear beef and beef ball. best pho soup in the sailsbury area. noodles were perfect you get alot of meat and the broth was full of flavour. your soup comes with sprouts and herbs already mixed in. generous amount of sauce. indoor and outdoor seating. amazing value for the price.Parking: this restaurant is in the middle of john st

M T: Sushi Train on Grenfell Street in Adelaide keeps things fresh with its ever-changing menu, offering a variety of sushi options to suit different tastes. However, the service here could use some improvement as they heavily rely on QR code ordering, which takes away from the personal touch, and the opportunity to explain the menu or up sell more items. While the food is good, it would be even better if they found a way to blend technology with a bit more human interaction for a more enjoyable dining experience.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian optionsParking: There is no free/easy parking at this store

Banua: moving slowly in front of you

Nicole Lehmeyer: until all group members are present. Just note that it is difficult to seat a group of 3 or more people at a table connected to the train. It is easier to be seated at the bar stools by the train, otherwise there are 2ish tables which seat 4 which are not connected to the train. Ordering via staff or app is available at these tables.Wheelchair accessibility: A little tight, may be wheelchair accessible

Lucy Salmond: Of all the great sushi trains in Adelaide this is not one of them. Tired decor, tired staff and very budget and uninspired food....and often not much of it going around. I have eaten here about four times in the last five years to just get a quick feed on the run and it somehow gets worse and worse. I always sense they are about to go out of business by the way the place presents. Ripped vinyl seats they don't bother replacing.

Glenn Errington: Excellent all round. The unabashed, humble and 'hidden gem' of Castle Plaza shopping mall, South Road, Edwardstown. More than one of the best sushi trains around, the service is platinum and super fast with all the grace and trimmings. Meals are healthy and well priced. Drinks are very fairly priced also.If you are sick of pubs with overpriced chicken nuggets and a plateful of carbohydrate, hip swelling chips then try the healthy KOKORO SUSHI RESTAURANT in Castle Plaza mall.Good for your hips and belly, good for your pocket book! 😁😎👍

Gigi Huang: It is a vegetarian restaurant opened by a Taiwanese family. I come here every time I miss the ancient rice noodle soup. It is the best tea shop in Adelaide, but the milk is not delicious. There are also Taiwanese snacks downstairs. Although there are few items, you can browse them.

Cheryl: Best place to come for vegans/vegetarians. The owners are super nice.

Chris Green: This is easily my favourite place in the CBD to eat, and has been for 20 years. Everyone who knows about this little gem raves on about it, because the food is absolutely amazing but also the staff are some of the most pleasant people I’ve ever met. I always feel enriched when I leave Thea Tea Shop, from the fantastic food and warm staff.

Shreya Raijada: Being a vegetarian it used to be my favorite place for lunch when I worked in the city. I still sometimes crave the cold spicy noodles

andrew lord: A little oasis of vegan calm.A restaurant with "sweet and sour thing" on the menu is obviously completely endearing. The food is delicious, the service is friendly, the serves are generous, the prices are good.Meat eaters need not be put off by the vegan thing. This is a very good lunch spot.Vegetarian options: Menu is fully vegan

4chillies: I'm a carnivore but I'm a long time fan of Thea Tea Shop. It's plant based but still filling and flavoursome. Joe Partington: Unreal atmosphere, the restaurant really shows the principles of connecting with a customer with their interactive choice of charity cause that induces humble and selfless energy the establishment emits. Food was absolutely very scrumptious, the two of us only a quick burger to snatch before leaving, but was absolutely worth the detour.

Heath Wickins: Ordered a lamb burger which was fresh and tasty and arrived shortly after ordering.I had a friend order a meal from a competitor at the same time and they forgot to include the burger. An infinitely better experience and I will be back.

thedookie muncher: such good food, the service was amazing, staff were friendly and caring. We were sitting outside, still warm and could hear the music quite well, the vibe was there. Friday night, was real busy and it still only took 8 minutes for a table of 4 to receive all sides and mains, absolutely coming bacmVegetarian options: the option's for vegetarian burgers was really good, the burger wasnt dry like they usually are. Taste was definitely there, one of the best vegetarian burgers ive tried.

Gandharva Ashtekar: We recently celebrated a birthday lunch at Grill'd, and it was a delightful experience overall. The restaurant's ambiance was warm and inviting, and the staff were attentive and accommodating, making our celebration feel special from the moment we arrived. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the burgers. They were not only delicious but also clearly crafted with high-quality ingredients. Each bite was packed with flavor, and everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The emphasis on healthy options was evident and appreciated, aligning perfectly with our preferences. However, I would like to provide some constructive feedback regarding pricing. While we understand the commitment to quality, some of our guests felt that the prices were slightly higher, especially for a group celebration. Offering occasional promotions or group meal packages could make dining here more accessible for larger gatherings and encourage more frequent visits.Despite this minor concern, our experience at grill'd was memorable, thanks to the excellent food and service provided. We left satisfied and impressed with the overall experience. We look forward to returning and would recommend Grill'd to anyone looking for delicious, quality burgers in a welcoming environment.

Caitlin Pearce: fantastic especially for those with dietary issues !loved it

Cara Mia: . We also had Crispy Bacon & Cheese on a panini roll. I'm still impressed with their burgers & fries, which I've had before at their TTP store. My nephew had the Crospy Bacon & cheese & was impressed with his burger. We were surprised & hugely impressed with the Healthy Fried Chicken Bites.
