Ginza Miyako Japanese Restaurant: what do users think?

Chee T: I recently had an incredible dining experience at Ginza Miyako, a Japanese restaurant that offers an all-you-can-eat menu. Despite the all-you-can-eat format, the quality of the food was outstanding. Every dish was prepared with great attention to detail and presented beautifully. From the fresh sashimi and sushi to the deliciously tender grilled meats, every bite was a delight. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring our glasses were always full and our plates promptly cleared. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal with friends or family.

Linda J: Recommend to try the new Japanese buffet😍😍As much as Sashimi and Wagyu beef you can eat, but not only for those. Menu options on menu and no limited but only for $78/pp. Look that big boat🤣 Also they have Wagyu beef hotpot with four soup base you can choose. Food are Fresh and refreshing! Atmosphere is high classic and specially can choose sit at wooden tatami😌

Tamara Wilton: Went to Ginza Miyako for a friend's birthday dinner.Another friend and myself ordered the sushi boat made vegan. It was bought out on two small boats, and everything was delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was great as we were able to chat without any loud background noise to compete with.It is more on the expensive side, but definitely worth it if you want a special night out.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options and a small vegan menu.Dietary restrictions: They have vegetarian options and a small vegan menu. I believe they will do their best to cater to dietary requirementsParking: There are several paid parking lots nearby, no free parking nearby though.

Tom Buck: I went here with my friend earlier today. It was a great experience. The food was delicious. The service was impeccable. The waitress was perfect! Everything about this restaurant was so good. I really enjoyed the calm and welcoming atmosphere. The music in the background was very relaxing. Despite being situated on a busy street in Adelaide city, entering this restaurant felt like being transported to a quiet little place in Kyoto. Fantastic experience! Thank you!

sahanmalee peellawattage: The food is excellent for the price, offering a great variety and high quality. The service provided by two Japanese women were amazing—attentive, friendly, and very professional. I will definitely visit again and again. To top it off, they surprised us with a special dessert for my partner's birthday, making our stay even more memorable. Highly recommended!

Liisa Grace Baun: We were looking for somewhere to go and eat on our way to a show and came across this lovely Japanese restaurant. The atmosphere is very pleasant and quiet, the staff were very friendly and the food was absolutely delicious! If we weren't in a hurry we would have also tried a dessert.Next time!

Sushi Train Grenfell: what do users think?

M T: Sushi Train on Grenfell Street in Adelaide keeps things fresh with its ever-changing menu, offering a variety of sushi options to suit different tastes. However, the service here could use some improvement as they heavily rely on QR code ordering, which takes away from the personal touch, and the opportunity to explain the menu or up sell more items. While the food is good, it would be even better if they found a way to blend technology with a bit more human interaction for a more enjoyable dining experience.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian optionsParking: There is no free/easy parking at this store

Banua: moving slowly in front of you

Nicole Lehmeyer: until all group members are present. Just note that it is difficult to seat a group of 3 or more people at a table connected to the train. It is easier to be seated at the bar stools by the train, otherwise there are 2ish tables which seat 4 which are not connected to the train. Ordering via staff or app is available at these tables.Wheelchair accessibility: A little tight, may be wheelchair accessible

Jeremy Jeffery: Consisting fresh tasting food and good servicd

Emily Whitrod: Everything was $3.50! Quality was reasonable, my kids loved the projections on the walls and it was lots of fun. We would visit again.

JJ J: I must say maybe it’s a bad idea for the new owner to use exactly the same name and logo of previous restaurant. Customers come in expecting Genki signature bento and noodle will be disappointed. But all the sushi uses the best quality ingredients.

Shelley Huang: Nice place to go with family or friends.

James Rad: This was a great dinner!Hidden gem with a great menu and in my opinion honest pricing for the quality and tlc put into the food and service. When I visited was on the quiet side and after the great evening from these guys I am so surprised as to why! If you are after some traditional Japanese in Adelaide please look no further this was the best and most genuine and tasty Japanese dining I have had in such a long time!Tuna belly sushi I cannot stop thinking about.Dōmo arigato Hotaru!

thoma henbest: Poor reviews of this place should be ignored, this place is authentic, lovely and cheap for what you're getting! If you need your food in a hurry, go to sushi train. If you want to support a great little place, go here!

Katrina Byleveld: Food was a while to come but not too long, shows that food is cooked as ordered and not all pre cooked. Priscilla was lovely, service was greatFor those who say portions are stingy, you don’t need to eat a stupid amount of food, it’s more important to have good food over an overflowing bowl of chipsHighly recommend if you love GOOD food

エルちゃん(茶々丸): Visited on SundayThe freshness of fish is good in Adelaide. It's cheap and easy to use.Maybe it was because there was a group of people and it was busy. The staff's customer service was not good.

Lisa Burner: Our go to place for Japanese food.Wonderful friendly service and the food is amazing. 5 starsKid-friendliness: We’ve been going ever since our daughter was small and was introduced to the Fuji marble lemonade. She’s 21 now and still gets it.Wheelchair accessibility: The door is wide and at ground level with a slight slope up to get inside.I’m unsure about the toilets though.

Huu Kim Le: I went with a colleague from the RAH. Pleasantly surprised. Had the lunch special teriyaki beef with extra egg yolk was divine. So filling with seaweed salad side dish and miso complimentary. Owner was delightful. Would come again. Colleague had sushi rolls which were double the size of the ones he normally gets in the hospital food court.

Scott Harvey: and Kingfish Carpaccio are to die for!! A staple for us now. Thank you to Yen for her friendly vibe and also her team for creating fine authentic Japanese food at the right price!Vegetarian options: As an ex Vego, the tofu and vegetable options are just amazingParking: Plenty of parking on and off street

Brad Wombat: The water had a powdery overtone with bitter flavour with a slight sweetness the nostalgia of the drink is scarred by the excessive change in temperature and air accessThe dumpling were good the rough chopping added a stronger flavour and the juices made the bite more smoothThe sushi had a deluxe range of flavourIt was well seasoned and the meat was soft and tender with a nice sticky rice and the bold choice of snow peas which worked pleasantly

Ben R: We recently dined at Sushi Planet. We found the food to be excellent and reasonable value. Service was pretty good, but could be improved. The seats were quite uncomfortable and I was sore the next day from the hard, stiff seating.Parking: Small on site parking and street parking with meters - paid or free depending on time of day.

Marina Papageorgakis: Can't wait to go back and enjoy this place again.Kid-friendliness: Great kids meals with variety of choices

Dishes came out quickly, piping hot, fresh and crispy.Best octopus I’ve had in a long time.Wagyu beef not wagyu, not worth it- first time trying this dish and will be my last.overall I had an amazing tasty meal.

Kav TH: Found the perfect spot for a pre-show meal at this place! Snagged a booth next to the sushi train, thanks to the friendly staff. Quick service meant we could enjoy delish dishes without missing a beat. Quality food, fast service – got us to the festival center on time for the musical. Bob Hoover: Had a great meal. Okonomiyaki was fantastic and went down a treat with the Sapporo on tap. Had the medium sushi and sashimi set which was great. Will be back!Recommended dishes Nigiri Set, Prawn Okonomiyaki …

Nick: See, the thing about En is that it's a hidden gem on a busy street. You'd walk by and think it's closed, but actually, you'd be surprise by the delicious yakitori and decently sized menu with a good array of drinks to accompany.Real cosy spot. My one recommendation would that they should entice more people to come in by upping their shop front game.

Lucy Salmond: Of all the great sushi trains in Adelaide this is not one of them. Tired decor, tired staff and very budget and uninspired food....and often not much of it going around. I have eaten here about four times in the last five years to just get a quick feed on the run and it somehow gets worse and worse. I always sense they are about to go out of business by the way the place presents. Ripped vinyl seats they don't bother replacing.

Glenn Errington: Excellent all round. The unabashed, humble and 'hidden gem' of Castle Plaza shopping mall, South Road, Edwardstown. More than one of the best sushi trains around, the service is platinum and super fast with all the grace and trimmings. Meals are healthy and well priced. Drinks are very fairly priced also.If you are sick of pubs with overpriced chicken nuggets and a plateful of carbohydrate, hip swelling chips then try the healthy KOKORO SUSHI RESTAURANT in Castle Plaza mall.Good for your hips and belly, good for your pocket book! 😁😎👍

Mark Page: RIP. Was a good place to eat.

Peter Mader: Good food, always fresh , attentive service. Everything you want in a sushi train .Unfortunately closing soon

Virginia Ho: This is by far a really good Sushi Train in comparison with the other franchisees around Australia. Rice is at the right moisture and plump. Fish is fresh. High turn over and there were loads of people.

Fero Cerri: Always a delight to dine in. Lot's of variety to try and enjoy. Always fresh.

Jon Hunter: Not a fan of sushi, so luckily they have loads of food that i like: karage chicken, katsu chicken curry, teriaki chicken, spring rolls, gyozas.... all freshly cooked and really cheap too

A Team: Good value for money. Sushi was fresh and tasted great. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Philip Harvey: Top Sushi. Staff very nice.

Olivia: Busy on a Friday evening. Very friendly staff, fair pricing, delicious tasting sushi with a reasonable alternative diet menu.

KoKo Black: Staffs are friendly, food are fresh.

Peter Tregenza: Parking: You can usually find parking somewhere in the streets nearby. You might have to walk a few hundred metres. Otherwise, there is paid parking close by off Gouger Street above the Central Market.

Miss J: Came back after the reno, a whole lot smaller space. Sushi boat was still great. The duck meat soba was flavoursm and delicious too. Tories chicken was creamy. But looks very small. Unagi was tender and yummy. Agedashi tofu was crispy and sauce was mild yet delicious. Karaage chicken was not good at all, soggy. Sashimi don is not bad, sushi rice was flavoursm. Wagyu sukiyaki was very delicious and heart warming, it comes with noodles as well. But the soup will go very well with rice too. Friendly service.

Ngoc Nguyen: Very good 👍

Cherry H: Came here on a cold Winter night for some sukiyaki and was not disappointed! Haven’t been to Wasai since they re-did the shop so a lot was ordered for two. The tempura prawn came with tempura sweet potato, mushroom, fish cake and greens. The sauce went great with the battered foods. Spider roll and spicy salmon sushi roll were very nice but the aburi salmon roll was the best with its torched flavour and had the perfect amount of sauce! Sukiyaki was warm and comforting with lots of beef and cabbage. The chef special grilled sea perch also stood out and we’re so glad we ordered it! Get it if you still can, the fish was grilled so well and the flesh was sweet and firm. Overall fantastic experience, and would love to go again!

ARKEA 0203Tomo: The real Japanese food restaurant in Adelaide. Also the price is reasonable. I had Sukiyaki that reminds me one I had at my house in Japan. 100% recommend this restaurant.*Not westernized Japanese food*

david yuu: Good tempura

G P: The ramen broth is tasty and not too salty; however the chashu pork belly could be more tender. Unfortunately it also has a slightly strange aftertaste which isn't that bad but it's still present. They also offer a free ramen on your birthday so be sure to come support the restaurant with your friends!

AP MD: Great tasting ramen restaurant in the heart of Adelaide's business district, probably some of the best I've hadWeather's gotten cold lately and some hearty ramen food was on the cravings. This place absolutely nailed it - absolutely elite level ramen with enough variability to please everyone.Combine this with a cool environment and passion from the cooks and you land yourself a great dining experienceAt times I found the staff a little impersonal, but it didn't detract from the food and quality overallAs the weather gets colder, or when the soup cravings kick in, this is a place that's definitely worth keeping on the radar. Get the large bowel though, you know you'll finish it

Jm Bautista: nigiri are also very delicious. Excellent service and staffs are really nice and friendly. Will always come back to this place for a good bowl of ramen

Yoong Hwee See: belly is very good. All their sushi comes as with a thick cut of fish. Also had the waygu which though nice is not as good as expected. The agedashi tofu is also very good , fried to the right texture and soaked in the broth. The dish would be perfect if the broth is slightly less salty. All in, a very good meal.

Lonny MacLeod: Best ramen in Adelaide - made in house! They’ve got the perfect bite and girthiness to them. The meat slices are also really juicy!Food: 5/5 …

Tam Sibbick-Simpson: We have been looking for a nice Japanese restaurant for ages. Nagomi was recommended to us by our friends and we are so glad we finally went.Service was great. We had the vegetables tempura to share. Absolutely delicious. I had the teriyaki chicken and my husband had the Bento box. All beautiful. We will definitely be back.

Munching Adelaide (Munching.in.adelaide): We have been coming here for years, and they never disappoint. We always get their Nagomi Bento Box, the unagi Don, and we have even tried their cold noodles and their chawamushi. On the nights we can't dine in, we also take out, and they are still so delicious.Kid-friendliness: They even have kids' activities for the little one busy.

Toden: Authentic taste. The best Japanese restaurant in Adelaide. The four of us shared the funamori sushi, tempura, eggplant raku, agedashi tofu, and Japanese-style steak.Everything was delicious.

Lulu-B: The best Japanese restaurant in Adelaide!I highly recommend the sushi and sashimi boat. The tempura and gyoza are delicious.Excellent food, staff and service, it's why we keep going back.

David Huggins: A great antidote to the glut of for-the-gram Japanese-adjacent venues popping up everywhere. We were there on a quiet, wintery night, but the service was warm and friendly. The food was fresh, and authentic.

Wenjie Wang: Visited at around 6:30pm. I was craving ramen but was told it was sold out even though the place had only been open for half an hour…Pork Belly was claimed to be slow-cooked for three days, the seasoning was quite good, but the lean meat was a bit dry.Grilled Mackerel was pretty tender, with juice and fat. Thumbs up!Tempura prawns were just average, with a rather thick batter.Miso Grilled Cod was pretty tender, but the overall saltiness overpowered the natural flavor of the cod. The side dishes were of average quality.Seafood sashimi Rice comes with little bit of various sashimi and some eel. The quality of the seafood was average, rather soft...It's a casual restaurant, and the server was chatting and laughing loudly with her friends which was a bit wierd. The taste was not too bad overall.
