Dr Amarnath Bhat (Amar) is a general practitioner with special interest in skin cancers and skin surgery. Originally from India , Amar moved to Australia in 2010 and received his Fellowship ( FRACGP) in 2017.

Known for its long and intense summer, he noticed a lot of his patients especially farmers working in vineyards were having skin cancers. Melanoma is the 4th most common cancer in Australia. It can happen in both sun exposed and sun protected areas of skin!
The other common skin cancers which occur more commonly in sun exposed areas are lightly categorised as Non-Melanoma Skin cancers ( NMSC). Most common of these cancers are 'Squamous Cell Cancer (SCC)’ and 'Basal Cell Cancer (BCC)’.
BCC is the most common skin cancer and is about 3 times more common than SCC. Aptly called 'Rodent ulcer’,BCC tend to spread locally and distant spread is rare.
Charges can vary from $260 to $310 depending on the complexity of procedure

In 1999 Dr Alex Markou joined the Chatswood Skin Cancer Physicians in Sydney and underwent further training in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment as well as advanced surgical techniques for the excision of difficult lesions including flap reconstructions. He completed the Certificate of Dermatology from Monash University in 2000 and gained the Postgraduate Diploma of Practical Dermatology from the University of Wales, Cardiff, UK in 2004. In 2004 Dr Alex Markou established The Strand Skin Cancer Clinic in Colonel Light Gardens and had been exclusively practicing skin cancer medicine and surgery there for the last 16 years before joining the SunDoctors team in Jan 2021.
Dr Paul Annells received his Bachelor of Medicine and surgery from Flinders University in South Australia in 1993, and gained recognition as a fellow of the College of General Practitioners in 2000. Dr Annells began his training in skin cancer medicine in 2000 and has had extensive experience in skin cancer work since then and completed many weekend courses and diplomas, in addition to the Masters in Medicine in Skin Cancer from the University of Queensland in 2011. Trish Ward: over the last 7 yrs of stent change procedures x7.I have had no problems and have always been put at ease and found Andrew Fuller so friendly and professional.Until my stent change procedure on 18th Jan 24..procedure went well as always..but 3 days later I was in chronic lower back pain.after numerous ct scans and trips into emergency an MRI diagnosed discitis/osteo mialiytis.I have up to now lost 2 months of my life in pain.in hospital for 1wk with picc line fitted and daily antibiotics infused daily for 38 days.I am still not out of the woods yet w/o the antibiotics by tablets ongoing until infection has gone.Drs are fairly certain this bacteria infection was as a result of my procedure in Jan.I just needed to bring it to someone's attention.trish ward

Sonia O: Thousands of books in great condition and reasonably priced. Fiction and non fiction and some hidden gems. Taken an hour or two to explore.
Meredith Spangler: Excellent selection of books at rock bottom prices, all neatly sorted into categories and shelved in alphabetical order by author. The bookmart raises an astonishing amount of money that is donated to charity by the Glenside Lions.

Matthew H: Apparently this is Adelaide's largest second hand book store. It has a really good range, including a kids/YA section, and great pricing. They accept book donations too.

Hannes Van Der Colff: Great selection of second-hand books and the prices are very reasonable. It is also the only place open on a Sunday to browse for second-hand books.
Geoff: Huge range of books for both adults and children plus some cd's and dvd's. Lions Christmas Cakes also for sale.
R S: A huge collection of used books in all types of categories from fiction to facts. They also have a children's section and take many old books as donations.
