Caroline Brown: at Calvary Adelaide Hospital where I had jaw surgery with Dr Miles Doddridge. Dr Dhillon came to see me before surgery and offered me reassurance ahead of my procedure. He is a lovely, caring man and I immediately felt safe with him as my anaesthetist. I was worried about waking up from my procedure with grogginess and nausea like I have had from previous surgeries but this never happened with Dr Dhillon. I came out of anaesthesia wide awake and completely cognisant of my surroundings with zero nausea. Thank you so much, Dr Dhillon! If I ever need surgery again, I will be asking for you by name! A+++
mirren ferguson: I had two lower wisdom teeth removed out at Leading Face Surgery with Dr Yelegin. Dr Kar Woh Ng was the Anaesthetist for the surgery. He was absolutely fantastic, I was quite nervous as I had never had IV Sedation, but he talked me through it and it was such an easy process. Would absolutely recommend Dr Kah Woh Ng to everyone.
Leigh Willis: This morning, I had an eye operation-I was most impressed with the attendance of Consultant Anaesthetist Dr Haran Somehsa. Dr Somehsa was friendly, kind and most understanding to my anaesthesia requirements- he took a careful and enquiring history, and reassured me of my safety and comfort. He was exceptionally professional, gentle and had a very pleasant demeanour which was so much appreciated by this patient-who was somewhat anxious! Most impressed! Thank you and your office staff.

From my initial pre-surgery interview with him at Burnside Hospital, to theatre and then recovery, Dr Eblen was so kind, humorous and full of spirit, all the while remaining extremely professional. bodomad2009: From initial report to ED through to discharge was nothing but professional. Every nurse/doctor was very affable and I was always treated with care. The room and facilities are kept very clean. The food was surprisingly tasty and when a meal was missed, due to surgery, sandwiches and snacks were provided without asking.I have day surgery in a month to remove temporary stent and am not nervous as I know what to expect.

The medical care I received was excellent, and I could not be more grateful for the outstanding care I received from the nurses, both male and female, who were all incredibly down to earth and made me feel comfortable. Adam M: but really everyone was great.Sure, the rooms are a little 1990s and the 'husband bed' was a little stiff, but that doesn't take away from the standard of care and dedication the hospital staff brought.Besides, if we are talking about the little things - three high quality meals delivered each day, plus morning and afternoon tea, and access to a stocked kitchen were a plus. Jamaica Blue cafe downstairs provides some alternative options during the day which is handy. Even the staff at the front desk were so polite and welcoming

Ashim Rai: I had my knee surgery two weeks ago at Ashford. I am so happy that I received good treatment from all the nurses, from the entrance to my discharge. Especially Dr. Swapnil Pandit, Nurse Sharmila, and Nurse Tereesa provided excellent care to me. They made sure I was comfortable and explained everything well. David Barlow: Attended Ashfield Private Hospital in July this year for an angiogram. Made to feel at home right from the reception to being admitted to the theatre ward for day surgery.The medical staff were fantastic before and after my procedure. Warren McLean: I had need to go to emergency at Ashford hospital on 10th May. The reception at emergency was very responsive and I was in a CatScan within half an hour or so and then straight up to surgery. The timings are a bit hazy but it all seemed to be non stop.I woke up in ICU where I spent 3 days that was the most thorough care you could want. Lisa, a nurse of some 30 years was sharp, caring and very supportive. The team around her were well drilled.I spent another 5 days In Marleston ward where the staff are a mix of very experienced and less experienced nurses.I never heard a moan when some patients buzzed a bit often, they all just went about it professionally and for the most seemed happily. Night staff were particularly good.I would have utmost confidence if I need them again.

I was made very comfortable prior to my procedure and during my time in the critical care unit. The food was amazing equalled by the service and friendness. Yannis Brown: Had a vaccination the doctor I was to see was running behind the staff arranged for another doctor to see me who had a moment and cut my wait short. Brilliant!Update: 2024 another trip to Asia and the doctor was very thorough with expectations, how to best protect myself based on my plans and what vaccinations I should look at. In the end, I was fairly up to date and just had a booster for TDAP.
Derick Hardaway: Dr. Stacey was nice and provided pin-point advice for my situation. Great one.
Carolyn Cochrane: I have been coming here for many years for travel vaccinations. Globe continue to be a very thorough and friendly service. The vaccination experience is painless which is always a bonus! I would highly recommend Globe Medical.

His medical knowledge and experience is extensive and is he is thorough and confident in the advice he provides. Dr Bob seems to have travelled everywhere and is genuinely interested and encouraging of his patients travel plans/adventures. Even the senior ones!The medical kit and travel book authored by Dr Bob are invaluable and certainly helped me avoid a nasty skin infection on a previous trip.The front desk staff were courteous and efficient and the nurse who administered our vaccines was very professional and gentle.A 5 star medical practice for travellers.

Ian Mac: Oddly, i feel compelled to update this. COVID made a lot of health institutions struggle, and change isn't always handled well. I think the WCH has come out of the mire. Resources are always an issue in healthcare, but i've met enough staff here in Craniofacial, Dental, Mental Health, Eating disorders, gastroenterology etc...that really DO care. Good, approachable people, that will do what they can, within their power, to help. Moving in the right direction. You can't please everyone all the time, especially in resource challenged institutions. But the right people are helluva good start. And no, it's not just 'a part of the job., be patient with your carers.
Troy Nguyen: We can’t speak highly enough about the midwives and doctors at the WCH Adelaide. My wife and I had our second daughter born here, we always felt cared for and the staffs were very supportive,friendly and professional. We are grateful for the care we received and would like to shout out to India, Mira and all the other nurses and doctors who had helped us.The wait could be long and understandable as this is a public hospital and I wish this can be improved in the future.

Gaynor Cooper: We used the virtual app with a Doctor this week through WCH, gave us the ability to stay home in our comfort & for our 3 yr old. We used this to gain medical advice before venturing to E.D in the cold of night. Dr Gabby was excellent and patient. Reassurance given and referral to a specialist following day. Dr Gabby gave clear & precise information, advice given if our situation had deteriorated overnight.Totally recommend using this virtue appointment. Follow up appointment at specialist clinic next day by referral from Dr Gabby was also excellent, caring staff.
Aniket Paranjpe: Took my 7 year old daughter with high fever. Everyone was so helpful & friendly. The wait times were a bit high but everyone was doing their best & attending to patients as soon as they could. Doctor Danielle Boniface, nurse Michael, Jonty took great care & were thoroughly professional. Even volunteer Kelly who was trying to make the patients & their carers time there better. Keep up the good work fellas!

Jun Suk: I highly recommend Burnside hospital for having your baby. The team of midwives at maternity unit was beyond our imagination. Fiona, Gemma, Jenna, Montana, Sophie, Lee, Merrilyn and everyone else we encountered were all so amazing and we can’t thank them enough for the care they provided us when we were very lost with being the first time parents. We wouldn’t hesitate to return for our future family plan.

Sue Hamam: A BIG THANK YOU to the whole team at FMC.Yesterday my husband wasn't well. The ambulance arrived within 5 minutes and the paramedics were wonderful and stabilised him. He then went to emergency and got in straight away. Thank you to all the doctors and nurses who cared for him throughout yesterday. He had Atrial Fibrillation so finally the heart returned to normal rhythm late afternoon. He was admitted to be watched overnight and hopefully home today. The staff were all so caring, attentive and professional in their approach. We feel very grateful and appreciate all the hard work you do on a daily basis.Many thanks again.

Flinders Medical was prompt with their treatment response and provided a very thorough, friendly and supportive experience for me. They quickly ensured that my pain was controlled as a priority and made me as comfortable as possible despite the additional difficulties that hospitals are experiencing at the moment. All staff were very supportive, helpful and kind making my overall experience very positive. They are professional, thorough and go great lengths to explain/diagnose issues without rushing patients out the door due to current ED stresses . 10/10.

R3N 8055: I've needed to come to emergency here a few times. Every time I've been triaged appropriately for the state I've been in and seen really quickly. Once I pissed all over the floor and everyone was really kind and didn't make me feel like an inconvenience or embarrassed. Other time I was very unwell/confused and not making much sense and asked a nurse "are we going to have a baby" that was actually quite funny and I bet they've heard some wild and strange things in there all the time but they take it in their stride.

Jonathan Robin: I was referred to Dr Hodge for swelling and infection in my submandibular salivary gland. After an initial consultation and scans, Dr Hodge performed a day surgery to remove 2x large stones that were obstructing my salivary duct. From start to finish, I had an amazing experience with the whole team at ENT surgeons, Dr Hodge, and the doctors/nurses at the Memorial Hospital for the operation. I could not speak any higher of Dr Hodge and his team.
Sam: Saw Dr Schultz. Attentive and sorted me out. his staff are FAR more helpful/accomodating and friendly than another practice I first tried - who were down right rude and asked me whether I had private health cover and when I said no told me that the first available date is in September.hmm

Pamela Lyon: Podiatry++ Just had an initial consult with the wonderful Nigel Rowe for pain in my right foot during walking. Thorough investigation, unbelievably useful information, excellent recommendations for ways to deal with the problem myself. Best value for my health-related dollar in a very long time. Dr P is the consummate ortho surgeon and super friendly. The theatre staff and recovery staff just outstanding at every point along my journey. Then nurse Olivia took me back to my room and cared for me. I think THE BEST nurse I've had in all my hospital visits. Everything done on time, precisely and with a smile. All my ward nurses have been excellent. Up to me now what I do with a new hip. Thanks Sportsmed.

Alex: I have had some issues with my hips, which resulted in multiple surgeries. I have been seeing Dr Shahrokhi who has supported me from beginning to the end. I would like to start off by saying this man is truly a gentleman and has been respectful of us as a family as well as individually with our circumstances. He does not have a god complex, like some surgeons do and he was always shown a lot of patience and he would take the time to explain everything to me. He is definitely patient/person centered and hewas caring when it came to the surgeries that I’d had. I’d trust Dr Shahrokhi and the team at Sportsmed Stepney with my life.
