Merk: Kids love the activities such as kinder gym and gymnastics.Heaps of social sports to join in on.Here is a video of inline hockey which is great.Since parents can't join the gymnastics sessions, I recommend joining the gym so you can keep active.There is a great Cafe as well.
Nick Mercure: Great community rec centre with lots to do for all members of the community. Basketball, netball, inline hockey, gym, volleyball, gymnastics etc, etc etc. If you're a local Blackwoodian, I strongly recommend you get around it!
NL: Had a great time here with the grandchildren. When their mother fell and broke her wrist the Pat, the centre manager, dealt with it in a caring, efficient way. She called an ambulance, checked on its progress and eventually cancelled it when it was ob ious it wouldn't be arriving anytime soon.she assisted my daughter and me out to our car and said she would call my daughter during the week to see how she was. Thank you so much, Pat, for your caring concern. Not sure we will be back anytime soon, but not because of the Centre! We don't want any more broken bones!!

KOBUS VAN WYK: West Beach Skate Parks is a top-notch skate destination! The park itself is fantastic, with a variety of ramps and features that cater to skaters of all levels. The 24/7 lighting is a huge plus, allowing skaters to ride at any hour. The views of the plains are also a stunning bonus - it's a beautiful spot to spend the day. However, I did notice that the seating area could use a fresh coat of paint, as it's looking a bit worn and tired. A minor complaint in an otherwise excellent skate park. Overall, West Beach Skate Parks is a must-visit for any skate enthusiast - just don't forget to bring your sunscreen and a fresh eye for the seating area!
Tyler Newmarch: Insane food and a perfect place to BMX, scoot and skate. Progression here is really good with beginner, intermediate and advanced sections all around the place. Would go again to practice.

Trudy E (SaltyWitch): Brilliant place. Have a lot of swimming programs from babies up to Adults.Physio/OT areas. Fair pricing. Disability ramp into the pool. Probably the only thing I'd say are the toilet doors are heavy for walking impaired or anyone that uses a walker. BUT there are disabled toilets where you can hit a button to open the door. Just a negative.. pool lifeguards do your job. There are children nearly jumping onto people doing rehabilitation in the pool. This area is allocated and paid for by vet affairs or another hospital. Keep people safe and move other swimmers to areas that are not being used.
Sabian Popovich: The all-inclusive facility is just the beginning of why I love this centre. There is a real community atmosphere, and the patrons are always friendly, and the staff are always happy to help. I wish all gyms were this welcoming, adaptive and embracing to people from all walks of life the way The Parks does.

Chris F: Visiting from Sydney, I have found a great place to do my Aqua classes.Pool is just right, instructors are great, especially like Leandro, his energy, humour and caring nature.The only negative is the insanely slippery floor, I feel so unsafe, especially as I am on crutches. Have slipped a number of times, but not fallen yet, is scary.
