David Paul: Sound system was not the best yet I've seen Beats on Parade play at other gigs without sound issues. Maybe replace the cables as whenever the DJ spoke it was this inaudible high pitched shrill. Once the DJ stopped speaking it wasn't too bad despite the system cutting out on one speaker. Once it was stable, it was fine. Don't use an MC if the mics aren't working - trust me, I'm a sound engineer.

Scott Hawken: One of the nicest hotels in Adelaide with a great restaurant and bistro with excellent food and friendly staff.

Hannah Alison: Gabby was immediately welcoming, so polite and friendly to all of us, good humour too. She is good at what she does!Food was delicious and presented really nicely.Tables were set up nicely, and was comfortably warm even though it’s freezing outside. My daughter had had her first taste of chocolate and approved.. Vegetarian options: I had 2 vegetarian appetisers and both were delicious and decent portions. I noticed a few v/gf options on the menuKid-friendliness: I thank Gabby again for how nice she was to my daughter, immediately getting her a high chair and offering plastic cups without me even asking. Always saying hello when she came to the table. She is a sweetheart and made our experience more than beautiful.Sorry about the mess on the table! 😝

Tom Reed: Good selection of beers, wines and spirits, great vibe.

jonathan kendall: - this is a perfectly created dining experience understated elegance and the highest quality - chapeau to the team - will be back as often as I can afford it !

Mitch Renshaw: Stayed in the Heritage Room for one Saturday night and had dinner in the restaurant. The room was cozy and very comfortable. Heritage room had access to the balcony. The balcony is shared between three rooms with dividers between each. You could walk around the dividers though if a friend is in the balcony room next door. Heritage room is in the centre and Mt Lofty and Tiers rooms are on the sides I believe. If you’re worried about noise staying above the restaurant it was very little issue. Not loud at all and completely quiet after 10 when they close. The noise can come from the fireplace. I think it must be an electronic exhaust or something but it got to be quite loud sometimes. The ducted air conditioning in the room made it so we didn’t need the fireplace on all night anyway so it was fine.It was certainly warm enough on a very cold night. Having the minibar stocked with various drinks and snacks be included at no extra cost was amazing! This goes for the breakfast in the shared nook too. The croissants were hot and fresh at 7.15am along with various cereals, coffee, juice, fruit, and yogurt. Newspaper was even dropped at our door for free in the morning! The restaurant was nice. No problems, the food was good but nothing outstanding…at least from what we had. I was told the menu changes frequently so perhaps another visit is needed. The highlight in the restaurant was the warm cocktail they made off the August monthly specials list. The staff were all incredible too. Friendly and very knowledgeable when it came to questions about the menu.I could see myself returning for another stay here, perhaps in the summer. Thanks Crafers Hotel.

Kirsty: It's always a fantastic stay. Can't recommend it enough.Rooms are beautiful, food is excellent, service is fantastic.Rooms: Very clean, comfortable, stylish.Food & drinks: Delicious meals, great wine list. A couple vegan options.

Eric Aune: Great spot for a pint! 🍻The Exitor Hotel pub offers a cool, covered outdoor setting just behind the bar area. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the Cooper's beers on tap are always cold and fresh. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a lively atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon.

Mickelson Plumbing: Tucked away in Adelaide, this hotel pub is an absolute gem that stands out for its cool atmosphere and impressive beer selection. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a warm, inviting ambiance that strikes the perfect balance between modern chic and classic pub charm. The decor is tastefully done, with cozy corners and stylish seating areas that make it easy to relax and unwind. Whether you're there for a casual drink or a night out with friends, the vibe is always spot on. The lighting is just right—not too dim, not too bright—and there's a laid-back buzz in the air that makes you want to stay for hours. What really sets this place apart, though, is the beer. The selection is fantastic, featuring a mix of local craft brews and well-known favorites. Whether you're a fan of crisp lagers, hoppy IPAs, or rich stouts, there's something on tap to suit your taste. The staff is knowledgeable and passionate about their beers, always ready to recommend something new or pour you a perfectly chilled pint.Overall, this hotel pub is a must-visit if you're in Adelaide. It's got the perfect combination of atmosphere, service, and top-notch drinks that makes for an unforgettable experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and check it out. You won't be disappointed!

Dylan: Having been to quite a few pubs in England, I can safely say the Exeter is the most authentic pub in Adelaide. The architecture, art, table arrangement, drinks on offer were all very welcomed. The crowd was rather friendly and mature. This will be my goto pub when visiting the CBD.

Jesse Scheer: Best pub in Adelaide hands downAtmosphere: 5/5 …

Carmel Slice: If you find yourself in Adelaide craving the epitome of wing perfection, look no further than this venue. Their wing night is an absolute triumph, though I do recommend placing your order well in advance to avoid any unforeseen disappointments. While the quality of their other menu items may fluctuate on different evenings, one cannot deny the certainty of a flawless wing night experience. It is a culinary oasis amidst variability. The pub itself is a delightful local haunt, boasting a commendable array of Australian beers. When the winter chill descends and the fire crackles merrily, it transforms into a sanctuary for meaningful conversations and cozy camaraderie.

Tony Hobbs: Sunday roast is a cut above, nicely cooked meat, roast spuds, proper Yorkshire pudding, horseradish and mustard, baby pig-in-blanket.Thursday paella is tasty. Worthwhile range of craft beer on tap, plenty of wines by the glass.Parking: Easy in quiet times, gets harder at peaks like Friday night as streets are narrow.

Eleanor Just: We were a table of four for lunch. Meals were served promptly and were well prepared. Staff very friendly and helpful. Table quite small for 4 people but it did make conversation easier as it was busy and quite noisy.Only small car park front and back but you can park on the street.Would recommend this historic pub hidden in the back streets.

Kylie Matthews: Outstanding venue, fantastic food and amazing staff…feels like home when you go in there with some great regulars…a nice catch up venue for family and or friends.Great specials during the week and a sensational Sunday roast with all the trimmings! Highly recommendKid-friendliness: Kid friendly

Jarrah Jarrah: Good pub, good atmosphere. Feel like the food can be a bit hit or miss week to week, even when ordering the same item like a chicken parmy.

Iain McGregor: Great pub!Popped in before seeing a movie with the kids.Food was excellent and reasonably priced. We were served quickly, but it got quite busy before we left.Staff excellent, friendly and understanding towards three kids waiting for lunch.

julie sandford: A great hidden gem in Adelaide! We have dined here multiple times, great value for money and excellent service.I would highly recommend this for a cheeky catch up with friends or a meal with family .Added bonus is Kilkenny on tap!

alec tibbitts: The crumbed fish was huge and luckily, I had ordered one piece not two. The other meals people at the table had were the Thai red curry from the specials, the crispy chicken burger and the crumbed prawns. All of the meals were good. There is a wide selection of beers on taps, as there was before the renovation. I’m sure there are plenty of other drinks available too - both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.As for the atmosphere, since the renovation, pretty much all surfaces are hard and although it wasn’t that busy, the noise was overwhelming. The music was quite load and patrons were having to shout to be heard. It was the one part of the night which really spoiled the experience.

This time it was quieter and a chance to look around and take in the atmosphere while eating a typical wholesome food that is The Haus trademark. As ever the friendly service and reasonable prices matched the food and drinks. We have been visiting since The Haus first opened and it was good to return.Barry Elsey OAM.Parking: We were lucky at late afternoon

Tanishak Baijal: A great place to have some of the best pizzas in town. We had ordered the garlic bread pizza that had an amazing cheese pull with an equally terrific taste! The veg supremo pizza and the tandoori chicken pizza were a delight to have.If you are looking for some mocktails, do try their apple caramel mocktails! Some of the best mocktail I have had.Our experience was significantly enhanced thanks to Parth, who took excellent care of us throughout our visit!

Rosemary Sacco: Was a bit disappointed with the chicken parmigiana and salad the chicken was nice the coating was a bit hard I had hardly any sauce on my chicken and not much cheese the salad was a bit boring I would have liked tomato and cucumber and onion with it apart from that we all enjoyed our tea thank you the waiters were excellent very polite sweets were very nice thank you made for a good night out

Wendy Radloff: Fantastic new menu which has basically 98% of it as a gluten free option. I had the chicken schnitzel which was delicious and came with chips and salad. Too much to eat, but so tasty! Friends had the gf fish and chips which was 2 large pieces of fish, chips and salad, also gluten free as was the chicken parmigiana. Kitchen apparently has a dedicated gf space according to our waitress.

Nikkie Antonello: The food was absolutely amazing! We came here knowing they are coeliac safe for our daughter. The cauliflower bites, Brussels and chipotle chicken on the starters menu were yum!!! And the brisket is a must have. Definitely our new go to. 🤤Dietary restrictions: Safe for coeliacsKid-friendliness: Welcomed our young children and had delicious options for a young coeliac

Carmel Slice: My visits to The Archer have been a series of delightful discoveries! The cuisine, a culinary symphony that never fails to impress, leaves one's palate in raptures. And the gin selection—oh, a veritable labyrinth of juniper delights, each sip a journey through botanical wonderlands! The staff, with their warmth and attentiveness, have made each visit a joyous affair, accommodating our every whim with grace and charm. And let us not forget the pièce de résistance—the library upstairs, a sanctuary of elegance and tranquility, where one can lose oneself in a literary reverie amidst such gorgeous surroundings.I wholeheartedly recommend The Archer, whether for a spirited function or a casual evening of revelry. It is, without a doubt, a gem worthy of one's patronage. Cheers to many more memorable visits!

We were very happy with the pizzas that came out, some of the best pizza’s you can find in the hills I reckon! Highly would recommend to check out this family-owned business and help support local. You guys are doing AMAZING! 🤩

Janaina Carvalho Lopes: I know this place is mainly for the beer which is very good, just a bit sweet for my taste but great beer. But the highlight for me was the food, it is hard to find good food with good drinks and this place manage just that. The duck taste great and the texture is perfectly soft and melts in your mouth, the steak is the best unfortunately the piece of steak was a bit too small but still good! Mark Mywords: and had a distinctive smell that I could smell before it came to my table. The taste was initially fishy and over seasoned, and I wasn't sure I'd made the right decision. However, it was delicious and filling. I feel I must describe the smell and taste, and it was basically the smell of an Asian grocer, that odd fermented, spicy, musty, 'museum-ey' smell. It wasn't unpleasant, just different, and I enjoyed it.Staff are friendly and attentive, with full table service a refreshing surprise. Chilled table water was promptly served, but I followed it up with a Margarita

Pratik Christian: Boasting sophisticated black and white styling with raw timber cladding and a white marble bar, the Queen Street Ballroom provides a chic backdrop for any style of event.Complementary in-house facilities: Exclusive bar, screen, projector with HDMI connectivity, cordless microphone and audio with smart device connectivity.Food is really good. I would highly recommend to try here if you are a true foodie. However, in terms of prices it's expensive. Overall I had a good experience.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian available

Kylie McLeod: This was a fantastic place for my daughter's 30th birthday. It's a gorgeous place, with a nice vibe and the Queen Street Ballroom came up beautifully with cosmic themed decorations.Their food was delicious, not the average finger food selection but still some good options for those with sensitive or less adventurous food needs. The staff were awesome, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.Would definitely use this venue again.

Tan Me Baby: I’ve eat here and enjoyed takeaway a few times and figure it’s time for a review. The food each and every time has been delicious. I’ve enjoyed the Green Veggie Laksa many times, the Malaysian Chicken Curry and on my last visit the Sambal Char Kueh Tiaw and the Slow-cooked Lamb Shank and they are now the clear front runners. It was very quiet in the dining room as it was a mid week evening but perhaps some louder background music is a good idea as the two other groups inside were very loud and it took over the whole venue. The team are friendly and have always shown us a lovely time.On the downside, more attention on the cleanliness of the bathrooms needs to be prioritised. It wasn’t a great experience.I do also like that their menu items offer a wine pairing suggestion and there are a good range of GF options.

Claire Page: Lovely historic hotel. It has been decorated very nicely inside. We had the whole place to ourselves when we went for lunch on a Sunday around 1.30pm. The service was very good and attentive. We had steaks which were cooked perfectly and tasted great. Parking is free in the street right out the front. You have to go down some steps to get to the main bar so it is not fully accessible but they have attempted to at least make the dining area and entrance wheelchair accessible.

Then proceeded to literally throw the atm machine at me...this was after I interrupted her chatting with a colleague, a fill line of customers at the bar, my partner bought a beer..paid..then was told 'your welcome ' even before he had nano second to say thanks, with the implication that thanks was not in his dialogue. We enjoyed a long lunch, selecting the ‘feed me’ menu, which allowed us to sample several shared dishes, which we complemented with brilliantly recommended wines and rounded off with divinely crafted cocktails. 2KW excelled in every aspect of the culinary journey, however the absolute standout was the customer service provided by the front of house team, in particular Lisa, who delivered outstanding attention to detail, expertly balanced with knowledge, warmth and professionalism. It is evident that the team at 2KW take great pride in their work, and this translates to a superior dining experience in every aspect. 👏👏
