Winston Spitzer: The best music hall in the world to me. Small. Very small. The first time I went there I thought that I was in the wrong place. Not a concert venue, but just a bar. Nice though. But definitely no concert venue. Or so I thought. But I had come there so I decided to stay and drink a beer. It was still early in the night. When I went to the toilet after 3 beers I noticed a small stage in the back.Weird. The place in the back could be best described as very small. In my mind I could devise it into 3 pieces of equal area. The first place the stage, the second place the place for the audience. And as a third place to indicate the size of the first 2 parts. The place behind where a snooker table stood.

Carolyn B: The staff are always lovely, and our local bands are amazing and deserving of big, enthusiastic crowds.

Steven Campbell: Awesome jazz night on a Wednesday night. Plenty of cool gigs too like Peter Bibby. Also nice outdoors area and good Cooper's on tap

Loyo: Excelent music festivalAtmosphere: 5/5 …

Second Hand Fat: Emil is fun

Eric Marschall: Broadcast are phenomenal! In the age of mass media, corporate shills, and the ‘elite’ trying to run Adelaide’s live music and bar scene, Broadcast is a venue that still values the ‘little guy’. Up and coming bands call this place home, so you should as well!!

David Paul: Sound system was not the best yet I've seen Beats on Parade play at other gigs without sound issues. Maybe replace the cables as whenever the DJ spoke it was this inaudible high pitched shrill. Once the DJ stopped speaking it wasn't too bad despite the system cutting out on one speaker. Once it was stable, it was fine. Don't use an MC if the mics aren't working - trust me, I'm a sound engineer.

Scott Hawken: One of the nicest hotels in Adelaide with a great restaurant and bistro with excellent food and friendly staff.

Hannah Alison: Gabby was immediately welcoming, so polite and friendly to all of us, good humour too. She is good at what she does!Food was delicious and presented really nicely.Tables were set up nicely, and was comfortably warm even though it’s freezing outside. My daughter had had her first taste of chocolate and approved.. Vegetarian options: I had 2 vegetarian appetisers and both were delicious and decent portions. I noticed a few v/gf options on the menuKid-friendliness: I thank Gabby again for how nice she was to my daughter, immediately getting her a high chair and offering plastic cups without me even asking. Always saying hello when she came to the table. She is a sweetheart and made our experience more than beautiful.Sorry about the mess on the table! 😝

Tom Reed: Good selection of beers, wines and spirits, great vibe.

Jack Lastname: This place is magical. Highly recommended if you are alternative and/or queer. I came here for their UK Garage night with my current partner and we felt very safe and welcome to dance and be cute on the dance floor. You really feel that antisocial people are not welcome here, and thus do not come here. This is one of the best venues in all of Adelaide/Tarndanya.My only constructive note is that the toilets are a little gross 😅

Stephanie Sy: sanctuary for smelly artsy kids in adelaide. i would rate it 3.5 out of 5.

Stanislav Zakharov: Atmosphere: 5/5

Tim Stew: for about five years ancient world has been my go to bar in Adelaide. It's pretty good and it's variety of karaoke on a Wednesday and live music over the weekend. If you can catch ancient world on a night where they're bands you get really good, intimate performances and I feel like a lot of the bands really do produce their best material in ancient world band. Space some of the electronica can be a little bit hit and miss, but I'm more a rock 'n' roll fan myself, I would recommend ancient world on any bucket list of backpackers, interstate, and international people wanting to get a taste of what Adelaide underground scene is like on any given night Tuesday to SundayVegetarian options: Excellent scan that was vegetarian/vegan sausage sizzle better than Bunnings

Iain McGregor: Great pub!Popped in before seeing a movie with the kids.Food was excellent and reasonably priced. We were served quickly, but it got quite busy before we left.Staff excellent, friendly and understanding towards three kids waiting for lunch.

julie sandford: A great hidden gem in Adelaide! We have dined here multiple times, great value for money and excellent service.I would highly recommend this for a cheeky catch up with friends or a meal with family .Added bonus is Kilkenny on tap!

alec tibbitts: The crumbed fish was huge and luckily, I had ordered one piece not two. The other meals people at the table had were the Thai red curry from the specials, the crispy chicken burger and the crumbed prawns. All of the meals were good. There is a wide selection of beers on taps, as there was before the renovation. I’m sure there are plenty of other drinks available too - both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.As for the atmosphere, since the renovation, pretty much all surfaces are hard and although it wasn’t that busy, the noise was overwhelming. The music was quite load and patrons were having to shout to be heard. It was the one part of the night which really spoiled the experience.

Lily Matas: Nineteen Ten in Adelaide's CBD is an absolute delight! As a retired hospitality worker, I truly appreciate seeing staff who not only enjoy their work but also create an inviting and positive atmosphere. Tom, who served me, showcased exceptional bartending skills along with a friendly smile and charm. The burlesque show was fantastic—engaging and interactive, which really enhanced the excitement of the evening. As a lover of dance, the performers personally convinced me to try burlesque myself. Their energy and charisma were truly inspiring, and their performances left me eager to explore this art form further. The surprise of a rooftop pool, used creatively in the performances, added a unique touch. The live music was lively and fun, with audience participation encouraged, which made the experience even more enjoyable.Plus, the luxurious lift to the rooftop was a nice touch that set this venue apart from the usual. Highly recommend Nineteen Ten for a memorable and fun night out!

Lorraine Brougham: My first visit was a beautiful atmosphere. Staff extremely friendly.Parking: Car park across the street. Very convenient and felt safe.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a lift to the top floor suitable for wheelchairs.

Dylan Cook: Went tonight for a fringe show and have to say it exceeded what my wife and I expected.Great service, wonderful gorgeous staff and a great drinks menu. Classy establishment and we would happily spend a Saturday night there.

sandra harris: My son had his engagement party at 1910 . Wow the staff were so lovely. The food which was finger food which keep on coming and was tasty. The children played in the pool while the adults chatted . Everyone had a great afternoon party and I really recommend this venue tucked away private and fun

Bec M: Coolest venue in the city! Been a couple of times for the Burlesque Saturday nights, and loved it both times. Great roof top views, an intimate seating area around a small swimming pool, lots of attention to small details, exceptional table service, great cocktails, including pacers and mocktails. We definitely plan on making it a regular haunt!

Christy Gower: Always a fun night at nineteen ten, great resident dancers. The speciality shows are always amazing with talented performers. The cocktail menu is always changing and they're always a hit. Inclusive entertainment where you can come as you are and have an awesome night. My absolute favourite venue in Adelaide for after dark fun 😍Wheelchair accessibility: There is a lift

Eric Aune: Great spot for a pint! 🍻The Exitor Hotel pub offers a cool, covered outdoor setting just behind the bar area. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the Cooper's beers on tap are always cold and fresh. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a lively atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon.

Mickelson Plumbing: Tucked away in Adelaide, this hotel pub is an absolute gem that stands out for its cool atmosphere and impressive beer selection. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a warm, inviting ambiance that strikes the perfect balance between modern chic and classic pub charm. The decor is tastefully done, with cozy corners and stylish seating areas that make it easy to relax and unwind. Whether you're there for a casual drink or a night out with friends, the vibe is always spot on. The lighting is just right—not too dim, not too bright—and there's a laid-back buzz in the air that makes you want to stay for hours. What really sets this place apart, though, is the beer. The selection is fantastic, featuring a mix of local craft brews and well-known favorites. Whether you're a fan of crisp lagers, hoppy IPAs, or rich stouts, there's something on tap to suit your taste. The staff is knowledgeable and passionate about their beers, always ready to recommend something new or pour you a perfectly chilled pint.Overall, this hotel pub is a must-visit if you're in Adelaide. Whether you're a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and check it out. You won't be disappointed!

Dylan: Having been to quite a few pubs in England, I can safely say the Exeter is the most authentic pub in Adelaide. The architecture, art, table arrangement, drinks on offer were all very welcomed. The crowd was rather friendly and mature. This will be my goto pub when visiting the CBD.

Carmel Slice: If you find yourself in Adelaide craving the epitome of wing perfection, look no further than this venue. Their wing night is an absolute triumph, though I do recommend placing your order well in advance to avoid any unforeseen disappointments. While the quality of their other menu items may fluctuate on different evenings, one cannot deny the certainty of a flawless wing night experience. It is a culinary oasis amidst variability. The pub itself is a delightful local haunt, boasting a commendable array of Australian beers. Craig Jeffery: 2KW provide an exceptional dining experience. We enjoyed a long lunch, selecting the ‘feed me’ menu, which allowed us to sample several shared dishes, which we complemented with brilliantly recommended wines and rounded off with divinely crafted cocktails. 2KW excelled in every aspect of the culinary journey, however the absolute standout was the customer service provided by the front of house team, in particular Lisa, who delivered outstanding attention to detail, expertly balanced with knowledge, warmth and professionalism. It is evident that the team at 2KW take great pride in their work, and this translates to a superior dining experience in every aspect. 👏👏

Professional and friendly, helpful advice on a large range of wines and cocktails. Really appreciated his patience and guidance to find the right red wine 🍷or Shiraz in the end that suited me to a tea! Definitely recommend checking this rooftop getaway bar! 2KW was a stand out for me, for the 2 nights spent in the city checking out a few different venues. Most memorable experience was 2KW!!
