Heimy Molina: I cannot express how unbelievably amazing this place is — the place of my dreams 🏰✹ Feels like you’re in a peaceful, magical town in Europe. My partner and I flew in Adelaide from Sydney just to stay here. He also proposed to me here and I wouldn’t have it in any other way. Kenneth and his wife are both so kind, accommodating, and passionate about their work and the whole place their passion is clearly reflected in the interior and exterior of the whole facade. Would definitely be back 💯 I’m giving it an 11/10 if I can! ⭐ Thank you for making our stay out of this world and for being so sweet. You guys have made our trip extra special with all that you have offered and the service that you’ve shown. I think everyone should stay here at least once in their lifetime, such a magical place

Cleo Housego: Never stayed here, looks absolutely beautiful and clean, definitely a touch of royalty to our beloved hills. Will definitely be staying here sometime in the near future

Amber Barber: Staying at Thorngrove was a truly special experience. The grounds were immaculate and beautiful. The rooms and antique furniture was stunning and suited the estate perfectly. We appreciated the in room compendium’s with information regarding the local area, property, antiques and our specific suite. Adelaide was really hot the day we stayed but our entire suite, including the stairwell, was nice and cool, the perfect temperature. It was lovely to walk into some wonderful folk music playing upon entry. Great selection of CD’s, games, DVD’s and things to keep you entertained, we wish we had more time there. Having two bathrooms in a 1 bedroom suite was a great luxury. Ken & Nydia took wonderful care of us and made us feel like royalty. We loved chatting with Ken about the incredible property. The food was 10/10, amazing. Afternoon tea, 3 course dinner & our breakfast were all delicious, fresh & high quality. The love & care put into the experience by the hosts is evident. For us, absolutely worth the money and we will be back again. Thank you Thorngrove!

Anelis Jordan: Staying at Thorngrove Manor was a dream come true, pinch me Am I Dreaming kind of experience. From the very first email correspondence with Nydia to the warm welcome from Ken, Thorngrove Manor, far exceeded my expectations. I booked Thorngrove for a very special date with my partner and the experience did not disppoint. The attention to detail of this place is unmatched. Our 3 course organic dinner was delicious and lick the plate worthy. Chocolates and Port in the afternoon was a lovely treat and afternoon tea was made up of fresh and sumptuous morsels of yumminess. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. It was perhaps, the most magical and wonderful experience we have shared and one that we will never forget. Exemplary service provided by both Nydia and Ken, exquisite rooms filled with authentic antiques and phenomenonal dining awaits. Do yourself a favour and visit this unbelievable place. An absolute dream come true. Thank you both.

Bob McGilchrist: I officiated a wedding there... awesome grounds and a building straight out of Disney.. so much attention to detail. Truly incredible and a credit to the owners..

Elijah Kusa: Thorngrove Manor was truly a magic experience. The building holds sheer artistic and architectural brilliance. This was truly a priceless experience that I will cherish forever. I was captivated hearing the stories and memories of Thorngrove that was shared. Also, the breakfast and dinner was absolute perfection with the flavours and presentation. Thank you Kenneth and Nydia for designing and creating such a unique masterpiece. I hope to have the opportunity to stay here again.

Nathan djfn: Very beautiful hotel it is incredible

Miguel.S: If you really want to enjoy a place where let your imagination travel to the 18th century, this is a place to visit. Beautiful place with extraordinary decoration and very well explained by their owners. This is a place to enjoy the room with a nice bottle of wine, book and the right company. High value stay, but you have to live the experience.

Ayebraham Kay: Place is beautiful and well taken care off. service was great and they really made our engagement special.Big thanks to Nydia and Ken.

James W: Great place for anniversary and the like.

Cathrine Durney: Lovely room very comfortable and the staff were friendly however the restaurant was closed and not serving which was quite an inconvenience after a long day working, the convenience of in house dining and the location is one of reasons I booked, I was also unable to get a receipt for my stay which I found a little strange. Lovely hotel not sure about 5 star status and price tag though

Andrae Carvalho: Food excellent, Staff very friendly and professional. Room service very good and all meals excellent quality and good portions. Kathy Nygaard: For Mother's Day, my two beautiful daughters & families bought me a High Tea voucher. Their families also bought them one each, so we booked in today for 12noon. My first time visiting. What an amazing, beautiful place to have a High Tea, lunch, dinner or just a get together. Wonderful, well dressed, happy staff. We were taken to a warm pleasant room with an open window area. All rooms have a wood fire, so on this cold day, it was very cosy. Our food was presented beautifully & tasted amazing. The only criticism we had, was the thick coffee cups on a saucer was what we were going to drink our lovely tea from !! What happened to a china cup for tea ? Pots were also made of heavy pottery. For the price, it is good value but big points lost for this type of service. Must change for this high quality restaurant.

Michael Staska: Thank you so much for making mums last lunch a beautiful experience for her. Simone and the team made her experience just beautiful - pretty in pink forever. xxx Leanne and Mike Staska

andrea melville: Just spent the long weekend at Mt Lofty House . It was a special occasion.. a 60 th birthday celebration with a private dinner for 18 people . Everything was spectacular
the location .. the service .. the whole experience was above and beyond !! I really can’t speak highly enough of the high calibre of the staff .I would award 10 stars if it was possible!!!

S G: Simply Magical! We are just back from a magnificent long weekend at Mount Lofty House. Mt Lofty House is a luxury hotel with many welcoming spaces to enjoy. Our rooms were beautiful and included everything you would expect in a luxury hotel. But what made our stay stand out is the 5 star service from the Mt Lofty House team. The staff made us genuinely feel welcome and that they were keen to deliver the long weekend stay we wanted. Our stay started with Shaun from Reservations putting together a package of activities and bookings tailored exactly to what we wanted to do. And then these happened effortlessly over the weekend. Thanks Shaun, it was a delight to work with you to put together our weekend. We loved the hotel history tour run by Chris, make sure you take it when staying. Chris made us feel very welcome anytime we saw him over the weekend. Thanks Chris, we are big fans of the champagne cocktails! Our weekend included some time at the fabulous Gatekeepers Day Spa. Thanks to Claire for an outstanding massage, it was the perfect way to end a day after walking in the Mt Lofty Summit national park nearby. We also want to say a big thank you to the staff in the Piccadilly Panorama breakfast restaurant who are delightful and made sure we enjoyed the delicious breakfast each day and the staff in the Hardy's Bar and Lounge for their warm service and tasty dinner. Staying at Mt Lofty House is a must-do luxury experience with all that the Adelaide Hills has to offer on your door step.

Joseph Rogers Campbell: Nice, modern rooms and bathrooms. A lil dusty in the corners...the only reason it wasn't 5 stars!

Vikki Simes: We stay here on the weekend for my birthday. Our first time at the Indigo and found it really great. Staff at the reception were lovely and friendly on arrival explaining everything to us even wishing me a Happy Birthday and 2 x free drinks. The room on the 11th floor was really cool and funky with a great view and the bed was very comfy. This hotel is in a fabulous location.I would definitely stay here again.

Lydia Moore: We LOVED our stay at Hotel Indigo. The staff could not possibly have been more accommodating and friendly, the room was clean, comfortable and beautifully styled and the location was so convenient. We used the valet service, which was affordable and took the fuss out of the checkout process. We will be recommending this hotel to any of our nearest and dearest travelling to ADL.

ThePublic -PHUKOL: We recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The room was super comfortable and had everything we needed. The front desk staff were lovely and attentive. Had a great check-in ans check-out experience. The highlight of our stay was the amazing service from Phanthira from F&B. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and made us feel so welcome.Walkability: Walking distance to Rundle Mall, Chinatown, Victoria Square, Tram Station

Ben Offord: First time experience was absolutely wonderful from the moment I walked in until the morning I hit the road with my very special takeaway breakfast. Food was absolutely outstanding "Pork & Apple Ravioli" coupled with plenty of local wines and the Staff....Wow!Thanks so much to Thira, Teea, Geraldine & Marissa, they made me feel like I was on my 10th stay, not my first given their personal touch.Very much recommend for all visiting Adelaide and I'm looking forward to visiting in Summer to enjoy the Roof Top Bar and Pool.Well Done Team.

Steve Tselekidis: We stayed at Indigo for the first time. From the moment we approached the front desk we felt the warmth from the staff. They were smiling, very detailed on explaining things and about the hotel itself - service was great! The roof top bar was awesome, cocktails and food were yummy. The rooms are hip, vibrant and funky, loved the front foyer. Awesome style.Keep up the good work and we most defiantly will be back.

Wayne Andrews: The Indigo is a cut above. The rooms are beautiful. If only they had applied some of that style in the restaurant. Don’t let that stop you. Its one of the nicest rooms I have stayed inRooms: They are unique and remind you that you are on holidays

Tim Morgan: Honestly now when I travel to Adelaide for work I tell them to only book me here as the rooms are great, the staff are great and the location is awesome! I wake up and go to Central Markets and find breaky before heading to work. The restaurant on the bottom floor is fantastic italian and I can say I have now tasted every pasta dish and they are A1 top notch. See you guys again in 2 weeks! Also the 11 market street Cafe had the best coffee I have had in a long time

Renata Potoczky: We had a suite and found it extremely comfortable. You can really stay ‘in’ with the rooftop bar, all day coffee , bar and dining down stairs, fitness centre and pool and rooms to hang-out in. We just felt that the waiting staff were not on top of things, our breakfast and coffee was cold on the Sunday and breakfast order incorrect on the Monday. Breakfast was yum but not their specialty. Roof top ambience is amazing, cocktails were awesome and tapas. The interiors were so vibrant, quirky yet cosy-attention to detail was amazing with layered lighting and indoor plant boxes. It’s not too busy too.Safety: Quiet and safeWalkability: Great quiet spot with the ability to walk all the way to Rundle Mall or North Terrace or you can catch the tram both ways or either way.

Jay K (Jhonny, Jono, Jay): This day and age I do not expect and am not use to waiting especially long check in and check out times, totally Bs do your job after I’ve left and don’t make me sit and waste valuable time waiting for you to check the room and how it’s been left. Certainly not the 5/6 star service we are use to!!For being brand new I would have expected more from pretty much everything except the view.

tracey kneebone: and the skybar wasn't open either.Walkability: Central to most of Adelaide and all public transport.

Cherry H: Absolutely incredible stay. Room was spacious and every detail was thoughtful. All the staff we interacted with were extremely kind and helpful, which of course made our experience really positive. Staff wheeled food when we ordered room service all the way in and helped us set it up, and our meals came with wonderful additions. Views are great no matter where you are in the building as well. Would recommend to everyone if they’re looking for great experience!

Bing Archibald: I was staying at this hotel for a conference at the exhibition center. Perfect location for any event at Adelaide Oval also. I was assisted by a member of staff named Yats who was very kind and assisted me with any needs. Highly recommend excellent serviceWalkability: Close to everything

Gavin Day (GD): Had a major function here. Great location. They need to organise your bar staff and catering. The event ran out of coopers beer in 40 minutes. Then there was a shortage on other beers all night. Meals were excellent, though.A bit more training in table staff as they seemed to be disorganised. Alot of table service was missed.

John Goodridge: This place has always had high levels of quality and service 👏

Nadia KH: Best place to stay in the city!

Chris Treston: Great hotel, excellent welcome and service. The apartment is one you could live in, everything you need. And perfect location for exploring Adelaide, on foot or by tram or bus. Super close to Markets and Mall. Fantastic value for money.Rooms: Kitchen, bathroom with laundry facilities, separate lounge with TV and dining room table. Large bedroom with King bed.Walkability: Easy access to trams, mall and markets all just minutes away

Donna Newman: First time staying at the Adina apartments and I say I definitely recommend. The rooms were excellent, comfortable, balcony overlooking a courtyard. Explored and found an indoor pool and gym with equipment in good condition. Even had a Cafe for breakfast which I recommend. All for. Good price, Adina will be high on the list to go back

Angelina Freckelton: Very convenient location. ~5min walk to the Central Market and ~10min walk to Rundle Mall. One of the free city buses stop is just around the corner and near the tram line.Really good apartment for a family to stay at.If we ever go to Adelaide, we will probably stay here again.Rooms: Very quiet. Didn't hear much of the outside noise. In my room, we only heard the washing machine/dryer from the floor above. Nothing from the rooms next door.Mattress was slightly hard for my liking.Food & drinks: Best room service wedges ever! My son was obsessed with them. We ordered it a 2nd time.

Suzi Wong: , but that location meant our ground floor apartment was fairly noisy. Great apartment though, spacious and clean. Carpet desperately needs replacing.

Susanne Carter: I enjoyed my stay here but it would have been nicer if I hadn't had to ask the cleaner at 8am to not yell on the corridors so waking me up, or if there had been more instruction about the silly egg ordering process, or if they remember to update your keycard if you have asked for an extra hours room use. I found the staff and management 'aloof' towards their customers. Professional is good, aloof is not so.

Sienna (Sienna): The beach was very beautiful and it was so close, and it was great to have a bar and a restaurant in the hotel!Food & drinks: So yummy

Sandy Philps: The service here was amazing. The staff very friendly and attentive, a glass of bubbles on arrival, bags removed from car and taken to your room. The buffet breakfast was good and dinner in the Promenade very tasty.we had the arancinii and the lamb shoulder.Bed was very comfortable and the reasonably clean but the chairs in room 602 were very grubby.Apart from that, great place to stay.

Michael Wulff: It's really lovely if you get a sea view room.Staff were friendly and accommodating when I asked for a late checkout. We'll be back.

D G: This is not the first time I stayed in this hotel. Love the spot. It gets a bit outdated, but still good. Was disappointed with service. The guy at the reception refused to match the internet price, so I had to spend time going through booking on the phone. It was 20% different so it was worth it to go through booking process.

Thank you.Walkability: Shops just over the road for last minute travel needs.

Julian Lee: We dined in the restaurant and the food was of good quality and value for money. The meal sizes were more than I expected with the entrees about thesize of a main course. I couldn't enjoy the main course as much as I liked to.

Kymette Schultz: Great value for money stay in the CBD.Rooms: Well appointed, good sized and such a comfortable bedWalkability: Easy walk to shopping and fantastic Rundle Street restaurants.

Bread and Butter: Good business hotel with clean and spacious rooms. Windows open to a small balcony. The city is dead at night, so I could sleep with an open window even though my room faced the street. Free parking after 6pm in the streets around the hotel. The restaurant is only open for dinner from Thursdays. Didn't sample the breakfast but the coffee is good. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I got a good rate for my stay, their rack rate is very high though. Booking direct through their website seems the best option.

Natalia: Amazing experience. First time in Adelaide for a holiday and I would highly recommend this hotel. Great location. You can walk to shops and restaurants. Room was very clean. Great food at the restaurant Special mention to Sweety, Anani, and Pur for their exceptional customer service. They made me feel welcomed and were very helpful.. even putting up with my silly humour. Thank you for a great stay. I’ll be back đŸ‘đŸ»

Paolo Paternesi (Paolino64): Beautiful, elegant, extremely helpful and kind staff, huge rooms even with two double beds, bathroom with shower and toilet in separate rooms... In short, Adelaide is a super lively city and the Majestic really offers excellent accommodation.Rooms: Very spacious, clean and equipped with every comfort.

Samantha Warr: . The shower was large, so If you're a tall person, you'll be right. The only negative, I was lucky to get a good deal for 3 nights. However, If you had to pay the full price, would be quite more expensive than some of the hotels in the area.I would be interested in staying here next year for the beach volleyball world championships.

Peter Doody: What a hidden gem! Yes it is small, yes it is not RIGHT in the middle but the price is the key here. I found them on a booking site and went direct getting a lower price and a mini bar bonus. Hard to beat at this price and we were there on the weekend when all on street parking was free/untimed. Will not pay 200 plus a night again in the city.

Tayla Bocos: Absolutely could not recommend this hotel highly enough! We had a mishap with our van and needed to stay last minute. Andrea C: Had an absolutely amazing stay here! The staff were very friendly and extremely accommodating to my families needs and highly recommend staying here. They are also pet friendly and very understanding when it comes to the fur babies. Nothing was too much trouble for any staff member. Also have to give them extra credit for putting up with my crazy partner lol

Danielle Ashford: I am updating my review. I honestly love this place so much. I just want to update on my most recent trip. For those needing a space that is mobility needs friendly I checked in and omg the cabin we stayed in. Amazing wide car space, flat entry and exit. Huge walk in/ wheel in if needed shower with a bench, rails next to the toilet and in the shower. Extra power points. I was blown away. See pics. I've always loved this park but more so now.We have stayed here a few times and never had any issues. We have been here for 6 nights of an 8 night stay in preparation for the birth of my baby. My daughter and I were so comfortable and relaxed. The park is quiet and well maintained and secure. The cabin was lovely, beautiful and clean and with it having an oven and cook top and full size fridge we could cook and shop for the week. The beds were unbelievably comfortable. It's close to the beach and west lakes shopping centre. I will be sad to be leaving after such a lovely week but will be back.

John Gray: Fiona, lauren and the staff run a spotless ship. I cant say enough how friendly and helpfull they are!!!Hotel highlights Great value

Sonia MARIA: Love this Caravan Park. Parents were long term residents here. Mum remains. The amenities block is very good. Can even have a bath!!The walk to the beach is short and well worth it. I have had many hours walking along the Semaphore beach with my mother. So nice to have my mum so close to this lovely space.

Dia Zam: A wonderful caravan Park and short stay respite place

Andrew Schultz: Went here for a dinner after a day of wine tours. The staff were super friendly and helpful during our wine tasting. A group of us ordered the degustation menu and I was impressed with the quality and quantity of the 7 courses. The complimentary port at the end was delicious! #BeatTheGrind

Paul !: Beautiful grounds, stayed for dinner, highly recommended

mrsm: Stayed here for 4 nights. Had a great time. Tried the wine tasting and dinner in our last night. Staffs were great especially Ant who looked after us during dinner, very cheery, helpful and pleasant.Wine tasting- just the 2 of us during the wine tasting. Great variety of wine and we ended up buying a few bottles. The dinner- such a great gastronomic experience. We had the 2 course meal, steak and pork belly and both were just absolute perfection. The steak perfectly cooked and the pork belly spicy and the tiramisu
one of the best tiramisu I’ve ever tasted. The bread served at the start was soft and fresh. Outside there’s a pizza stove so must be a hit during summer. The room- yes a bit dated and the r exhaust not working so getting misty each time we shower. The bed was massive king size, has the usual kettle, tea and coffee. There’s a seating outside facing the pool which I think must be great during summer. There are heaps of geese and birds living in the area.Pram and wheelchair accessible.Best part
the Shiraz trail is just beside the property. The same trail to reach the restaurants, Cole’s and other shops.Yes the accommodations are a bit dated but they make up for their great staffs and service, yummy dinner, wildlife and close proximity to the main drag.

Jane Tarrant: Great venue for motor rallyLocation: 5/5

Pauline O'Sullivan: Oasis of natural beauty in McClaren Vale.Generous sized room, well laid out for guests, king bed, kitchen, lounge, TV...easy access from car park AND a door opening to expansive shaded lawned area...small patio seating provided here to sit and relax. Can understand venue being popular for weddings...simply stunning.Decor not the most modern, but on reflection, comfort, space and scenery make the memories. Will be back.

Adam Alexander: Fantastic wine and fantastic service - easy 5 starsService: 5/5

Stephanie Dougherty: I had an amazing experience here! I was traveling solo from America for a friend’s wedding, and randomly selected Serafino to stay for the Maclaren Vale wedding. The grounds were beautiful, quaint, and so peaceful. EXACTLY what I needed. I didn’t spend much time in the room, but it was large and had all the necessary amenities. I was a big fan of having both a front and back door, with patio furniture available for each room to enjoy the scenery. My favorite part was the winery. I went in for a quick tasting and to read my book to kill a time before the wedding. I was met by your employee who, upon learning that I was alone, had me sit at the counter to give me company. He was very attentive, friendly, and so knowledgeable about the wines. As a solo traveler, I expected to be alone. Instead, I got to enjoy a great conversation with an interesting person. Not to mention, the wines were delicious!

Mark Williams: Had a great few days at McLaren Vale Motel & Apartments. Huge room that had everything needed. The shower/spa was in a separate room to the toilet which was convenient. Two large recliners to watch the large wall mounted television. Lovely pool area that's so inviting. Really friendly reception when we arrived. Provided lots of local information. I very highly rate this motel and will definitely stay here again.

Phil Sam: We Ć”ere highly impressed with our King room, which exceeded our expectations. With the words Motel and Apartment l was only expecting a motel type rĂČom, but this was significantly larger with a stocked bar fri dge, reasonably priced, together with cutlery, toastermicrowave, and excellent sized shower and separate toilet.

Bec Imhof: We visited the area for the first time and loved the spacious clean rooms. There was a beautiful bbq area and pool and communal garden areas with lots of seating. Definitely recommend stopping here.Food & drinks: Lots of cafes, bakeries and eateries close by.

Dowlo: We booked a night on the 5th of November 23. Looks nothing much from the outside but the rooms a beautiful and clean, comfortable king size beds and plenty of amenities. We’d definitely be staying here again when we visit the area.Rooms: We stayed in room 28 , parked right out the front of the room. The room was extremely clean with everything you needed for an extended stay. Fridge, WM, dishwasher, spa bath, kettle, microwave, cutlery , pots and pans and a dinner set.We only stayed 1 night so we didn’t need any of it. the room came with a substantial continental breakfast. King size comfortable bed, couch dining table and smart TV. Will definitely stay here again someday.Nearby activities: Great motel to base yourself for a couple of days and visit all the wonderful wineries in the area.

Guy Standen: I was involved in organising a weekend reunion for a bunch of old course mates from way back. People were coming from interstate & overseas. McLaren Vale Motel & Apartments was our choice for accommodation, & we were delighted. The staff are fantastic. Very helpful with all the logistics of setting up a gathering. Great choice of rooms for various sized groups. Easy walking to attractions. Comfortable and clean accommodation. All our group agreed we found a real winner!
