Cathrine Durney: Lovely room very comfortable and the staff were friendly however the restaurant was closed and not serving which was quite an inconvenience after a long day working, the convenience of in house dining and the location is one of reasons I booked, I was also unable to get a receipt for my stay which I found a little strange. Lovely hotel not sure about 5 star status and price tag though

Bev Hanisch: Hello, we stayed here for my 70 th birthday. This establishment made my birthday extra special. I was treated with a bottle of Pinot noir and chocolates. The staff were very welcoming and our room was perfect. The bed was comfy and I will never get a comfy pillow so don’t expect this hotel to fix my problem highly recommend anyone stay here and thoroughly enjoyed the location and wonderful decor. patrick harrop: . Arrived back at hotel room at 10.30pm. While showering I could hear banging noises. Finished shower to noise of doorbell, banging on door and room phone ringing. Answered phone, it was front desk telling me to open the door for the room service I ordered. I advised I had not ordered anything from room service, so they checked and realised they had the wrong room… surely the Sofitel staff could do this before they create unnecessary interuption and noise. Next morning I headed to Club Millesime at 9.45 am. Waited 10 mins for one of the staff to realise I was waiting at the ‘please wait to be seated sign’’, only to be advised they stop serving breakfast at 10am…it was Sunday! Why would any Sofitel stop breakfast at 10am on a weekend? 10.30 or 11am is the standard weekend time to end breakfast at most 5 star hotels. They did take my order for hot food however all buffet items were being cleared away. I have stayed at this hotel four times now and it appears understaffed and unable to offer a true 5 star experience.Rooms: Lowest air con temperature is not cold enough. Rooms. Always feel stuffy despite high fan and lowest temp setting.

Michelle Triffett: I had the please of staying at the Sofitel as we were in town for our Annual Conference. The room was amazing. Clean, refurbished and comfortable l. Level 16 views were so pretty of a night. The bed and pillows were fab! The bathrooms are modern and it had everything you needed. The buffet was awesome, and the Omelette was outstanding… Will stay again ☺️
Tony Goldenberg: The hotel is in a great location and valet parking is very easy.The hotel staff made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable.Unfortunately this hotel is not quite capable to cater for young kids but if you are aware of this, you can plan and decide for yourself.Also the automatic blinds were driving us nuts, and kept on closing by themselves if the motion sensor in the room is not triggered.Hotel is very suitable for business traveler or a romantic weekend away.Rooms: Rooms are generally clean, perhaps a good carpet clean could be great and a good clean of the toilets or improving the ventilation could do the trickFood & drinks: Not much selection for young kids but otherwise is great.

Stephie Borgford: I recently stayed at Hilton Adelaide and had an excellent experience. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The room was comfortable, and the bed was especially cozy, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The view from my room was amazing, adding to the overall experience.The hotel’s central location is a major plus, with Chinatown just a few steps away and plenty of food options nearby. It’s truly an amazing property, perfectly situated for exploring the city. I highly recommend Hilton Adelaide for anyone looking for a comfortable, centrally-located stay with excellent service!

Aldo Mario: Very strategic place in very middle of CBD Adelaide that close to everywhere and every bis stop to anywhere, Rooms is very nice as we get 13th floor that can see beautiful scenery of Adelaide city and service is marvellous from check in process, breakfast, using the facility such as Gym, Tennis court and swimming pool!Totally recommended and we're looking forward to be back!
Richard Cunningham: The Hilton is well located by the free tram that will take you to the city mall, stadium, art gallery, wine museum, and market etc. Perfect. The whole friendly staffing team did their job and each in their own way contributed to a great stay. The rooms, the food, and service was top draw. I will definitely stay there next time in town and recommend it.Rooms: Well set up and clean.Nearby activities: Located to provide access to most Adelaide must do's.Safety: Never felt unsafe. A great city.Walkability: Could walk to most things.....the central market is super close and then there is the free tram.Food & drinks: The hotel provides great food and a great range of wines which is what I enjoy.Noteworthy details: The staffing team.
Roaming Bush Barbie: I wasn't particularly impressed with this hotel. The rooms are a shocker!!! Really outdated and unclean, certainly not a 5 star accommodation if the rooms are anything to go by. There are way too many staff at the reception but only one serving at a time so the lines go check in are long. Despite the staff being nice I found the $100 a night for bond off putting and I was super annoyed when I saw the type of room I got for that amount and bond. The location was great and the buffet breakfast was really delicious however I wouldn't be staying here again not for that rate or bond.

Don’t forget to enjoy the Breakfast, it’s very effective especially when you’re on your way back home.Rooms: Spacious room with a nice view.Walkability: You can walk around the block and enjoy your evening. Walk all the way to Rundle Mall and few historic places nearby .Food & drinks: China Town is next door , you may enjoy the food.

Gavin Day (GD): Had a major function here. Great location. They need to organise your bar staff and catering. The event ran out of coopers beer in 40 minutes. Then there was a shortage on other beers all night. Meals were excellent, though.A bit more training in table staff as they seemed to be disorganised. Alot of table service was missed.

Heimy Molina: I cannot express how unbelievably amazing this place is — the place of my dreams 🏰✨ Feels like you’re in a peaceful, magical town in Europe. My partner and I flew in Adelaide from Sydney just to stay here. He also proposed to me here and I wouldn’t have it in any other way. Kenneth and his wife are both so kind, accommodating, and passionate about their work and the whole place their passion is clearly reflected in the interior and exterior of the whole facade. Would definitely be back 💯 I’m giving it an 11/10 if I can! ⭐️ Thank you for making our stay out of this world and for being so sweet. You guys have made our trip extra special with all that you have offered and the service that you’ve shown. I think everyone should stay here at least once in their lifetime, such a magical place

Amber Barber: Staying at Thorngrove was a truly special experience. The grounds were immaculate and beautiful. The rooms and antique furniture was stunning and suited the estate perfectly. We appreciated the in room compendium’s with information regarding the local area, property, antiques and our specific suite. Adelaide was really hot the day we stayed but our entire suite, including the stairwell, was nice and cool, the perfect temperature. It was lovely to walk into some wonderful folk music playing upon entry. Great selection of CD’s, games, DVD’s and things to keep you entertained, we wish we had more time there. Having two bathrooms in a 1 bedroom suite was a great luxury. Ken & Nydia took wonderful care of us and made us feel like royalty. We loved chatting with Ken about the incredible property. The food was 10/10, amazing. Afternoon tea, 3 course dinner & our breakfast were all delicious, fresh & high quality. The love & care put into the experience by the hosts is evident. For us, absolutely worth the money and we will be back again. Thank you Thorngrove!
Anelis Jordan: Staying at Thorngrove Manor was a dream come true, pinch me Am I Dreaming kind of experience. From the very first email correspondence with Nydia to the warm welcome from Ken, Thorngrove Manor, far exceeded my expectations. I booked Thorngrove for a very special date with my partner and the experience did not disppoint. The attention to detail of this place is unmatched. Our 3 course organic dinner was delicious and lick the plate worthy. Chocolates and Port in the afternoon was a lovely treat and afternoon tea was made up of fresh and sumptuous morsels of yumminess. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. It was perhaps, the most magical and wonderful experience we have shared and one that we will never forget. Exemplary service provided by both Nydia and Ken, exquisite rooms filled with authentic antiques and phenomenonal dining awaits. Do yourself a favour and visit this unbelievable place. An absolute dream come true. Thank you both.

Jay K (Jhonny, Jono, Jay): This day and age I do not expect and am not use to waiting especially long check in and check out times, totally Bs do your job after I’ve left and don’t make me sit and waste valuable time waiting for you to check the room and how it’s been left. Certainly not the 5/6 star service we are use to!!For being brand new I would have expected more from pretty much everything except the view.

All the staff we interacted with were extremely kind and helpful, which of course made our experience really positive. Staff wheeled food when we ordered room service all the way in and helped us set it up, and our meals came with wonderful additions. Views are great no matter where you are in the building as well. Would recommend to everyone if they’re looking for great experience!

Kathy Nygaard: For Mother's Day, my two beautiful daughters & families bought me a High Tea voucher. Their families also bought them one each, so we booked in today for 12noon. My first time visiting. What an amazing, beautiful place to have a High Tea, lunch, dinner or just a get together. Wonderful, well dressed, happy staff. We were taken to a warm pleasant room with an open window area. All rooms have a wood fire, so on this cold day, it was very cosy.Our food was presented beautifully & tasted amazing. The only criticism we had, was the thick coffee cups on a saucer was what we were going to drink our lovely tea from !! What happened to a china cup for tea ? Pots were also made of heavy pottery. For the price, it is good value but big points lost for this type of service. Must change for this high quality restaurant.

Everything was spectacular… the location .. the service .. the whole experience was above and beyond !! I really can’t speak highly enough of the high calibre of the staff .I would award 10 stars if it was possible!!!
S G: Simply Magical!We are just back from a magnificent long weekend at Mount Lofty House. Mt Lofty House is a luxury hotel with many welcoming spaces to enjoy. Our rooms were beautiful and included everything you would expect in a luxury hotel. But what made our stay stand out is the 5 star service from the Mt Lofty House team. The staff made us genuinely feel welcome and that they were keen to deliver the long weekend stay we wanted. Our stay started with Shaun from Reservations putting together a package of activities and bookings tailored exactly to what we wanted to do. And then these happened effortlessly over the weekend. Thanks Shaun, it was a delight to work with you to put together our weekend. We loved the hotel history tour run by Chris, make sure you take it when staying. Chris made us feel very welcome anytime we saw him over the weekend. Thanks Chris, we are big fans of the champagne cocktails! Our weekend included some time at the fabulous Gatekeepers Day Spa. Thanks to Claire for an outstanding massage, it was the perfect way to end a day after walking in the Mt Lofty Summit national park nearby. We also want to say a big thank you to the staff in the Piccadilly Panorama breakfast restaurant who are delightful and made sure we enjoyed the delicious breakfast each day and the staff in the Hardy's Bar and Lounge for their warm service and tasty dinner. Staying at Mt Lofty House is a must-do luxury experience with all that the Adelaide Hills has to offer on your door step.

Martin Hanlon: Arrived late and check in was easyWe had room with balcony which we didn't use but was appreciated. The size and the condition pf the room was amazing. Hugh bath tub big spacious shower.Bedding and pillows where possible the best we have experienced in our many stays in hotels..Other friends that stayed fro the few days also said the same..My wife was very happy with the gym and pool operational hours. Open early closed late..Breaking buffet 😋 was very yummy heap to offer.Bar & drinks 🍸 was also wonderfulOnly issue! Kit Busto: Overall our experience with the Pullman was fantastic. A big shout out to Christophe who was working as the concierge, funny, charming and an absolute gem. The rooms were modern and well appointed. On the first night we had an issue with the hot water but as soon as we told the front desk they offered to change our room but as we were headed out and didnt want to pack up again they sent a maintenance person who promptly fixed the issue. Paul Kitching: My wife and I decided to have a night away in our own town and this was perfect - brilliant to be so well located to everything. Easy check in and great service. Lovely room too with the loft set up - loved the high ceilings and no issue having the bed upstairs. Massive comfy bed... Lovely team members at every turn. Drinks at bar not cheap but worth it... then a nice easy stroll to dinner nearby... and loved the late 11am check out + fact we could leave our bag there for the day whilst we spent the day in town... so overall yes this was brilliant and would book again. ta!

It’s stylish with art nouveaux design that oozes comfortable luxury unlike many boring hotels that I find lack personality.The rooms are lovely, beds super comfy, showers almost too good-I didn't want to get out! Then there's the bath- it's deep and has a waterfall tap, absolute bliss to have a relaxing soak in after a stressful day. Another thing I really love is their vanity. It's actually a decent length, you can happily display all of your various make-up, hair & toiletry items easily. This is incredibly rare and you're often lucky to have enough room for a toothbrush and have to keep moving toilet bags from the floor..we'll, not here😁 Plus the bathroom light has a dimmer and one of those reversible make-up magnifier mirrors.The chaise lounge finishes off the room nicely with the only potential thing I can think of that wasn't perfect was that I walked into the overhanging light a couple of times but really, it wasn't a problem and I loved the light fixture and table set-up.The staff were all lovely and really helpful and the Manager was great to talk to. Even the cleaning staff happily greeted me whenever I saw them.Make sure you try a complimentary chocolate orange shot while you're there. You help yourself and it's just the Reception desk. It's so rich & delicious and again, another lovely extra touch.The cocktails from the bat were also great and although I didn't get the chance to dine in their restaurant-Luna, it has a great local reputation for breakfast as well as lunch/dinner.I loved everything about this hotel.😁Safety: I went online to an Adelaide group and asked about safety walking around at 7am. All feedback was it was safe and I did it every day and felt completely safe.
Toni Alroy: Stayed for three nights to attend a conference. I’m a lover of all things Art Nouveau so found the decor perfect. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful, keen to share local knowledge and give advice to a first time Adelaide visitor. I was upgraded to a suite which was very unexpected. Bed was dreamy and bathroom was luxe. Hope I get to visit again. Thankyou for a wonderful stay!

Meg Toholke: What a romantic and sensual experience staying at The Studio makes! The breakfast options were incredible, the presentation of the food and rooms were just gorgeous. Beautiful spa and we loved how the spa and shower connect with the bedroom. If I had one thing I'd change it would be a dim light or lamp option as the lights were a little too bright for evening times. But thats it. The bed was super comfy, and the rooms were clean, warm and inviting. Renting a bike at the tourist center is expensive, but the bikes are well maintained. Then driving the Shiraz Trail and the Coastel Trail along this beautiful landscape is highly recommended when the weather is good.I was very satisfied here for 2 days.
