Sara Wertheim: tired & in need of an upgrade. Water pressure good though & views amazing. Best experience however was the stand out service provided by Jodie & her team on reception. We had tricky situation and requested room changes in a busy week but even with occupancy rates high we were quickly & very efficiently able to upgrade with a minimum of fuss. Thank you Jodie - superlative service standards. Happily stay here againWalkability: Fabulous stroll along beachfront up great eating places

Elizabeth Clark: Rooms: Lovely spacious 2 bedroom apartment on the beachfront with a balcony, great value as well were upgraded from a one bedroom park view..Nearby activities: Magic Mountain is right next door with water slides and games for little and big kidsWalkability: Short walk to Glenelg Jetty road and the Marina pier is right next door so choice of restaurants and things to do at your fingertips

Sam McEachern: Booked here for 2 nights for our anniversary and my birthday. We had our 2 year old with us and booked a 1 bedroom ocean view. On arrival the lovely lady in reception upgraded us to a 2 bedroom apartment and also gave us a complimentary bottle of wine and block of chocolate. We had an absolute great time and will definitely be back again

Pat Steele: Hotel highlights Great value

Susanne Carter: I enjoyed my stay here but it would have been nicer if I hadn't had to ask the cleaner at 8am to not yell on the corridors so waking me up, or if there had been more instruction about the silly egg ordering process, or if they remember to update your keycard if you have asked for an extra hours room use. I found the staff and management 'aloof' towards their customers. Professional is good, aloof is not so.

Sienna (Sienna): The beach was very beautiful and it was so close, and it was great to have a bar and a restaurant in the hotel!Food & drinks: So yummy

Sandy Philps: The service here was amazing. The staff very friendly and attentive, a glass of bubbles on arrival, bags removed from car and taken to your room. The buffet breakfast was good and dinner in the Promenade very tasty.we had the arancinii and the lamb shoulder.Bed was very comfortable and the reasonably clean but the chairs in room 602 were very grubby.Apart from that, great place to stay.

Michael Wulff: It's really lovely if you get a sea view room.Staff were friendly and accommodating when I asked for a late checkout. We'll be back.

D G: This is not the first time I stayed in this hotel. Love the spot. It gets a bit outdated, but still good. Was disappointed with service. The guy at the reception refused to match the internet price, so I had to spend time going through booking on the phone. It was 20% different so it was worth it to go through booking process.

Bing Archibald: I was staying at this hotel for a conference at the exhibition center. Perfect location for any event at Adelaide Oval also. I was assisted by a member of staff named Yats who was very kind and assisted me with any needs. Highly recommend excellent serviceWalkability: Close to everything

Gavin Day (GD): Had a major function here. Great location. They need to organise your bar staff and catering. The event ran out of coopers beer in 40 minutes. Then there was a shortage on other beers all night. Meals were excellent, though.A bit more training in table staff as they seemed to be disorganised. Alot of table service was missed.

John Goodridge: This place has always had high levels of quality and service 👏

Winston Spitzer: I stayed here quite extensively. Sometimes for 3 month on end. The rooms are all quite the same. Only difference is for how many people they are. There is a kitchen and a bathroom a bedroom and a living room. Or you can have more ved rooms. All rooms are quite similar. But they are nice. They are cleened weekly and there is a nice breakfast restaurant. Friendly personnel.

Peter Ryan: bedroom. We were there in late May. Hate to think what it would be like in Adelaide's summer!

Jan Sturgess: Well equipped rooms with essential provisions and toiletries provided. Rest to have a washing machine and dryer. The apartment was clean but fairly basic. Best part is the central location as you can walk to any city location.Walkability: Great central location

Good location for attending a event at Adelaide Oval.Noteworthy details: Great location, clean rooms and property gardens are well kept. A really nice place to stay, just out of the City

Ethan Nguyen: was not cleaned yesterday, which is below the service standard I expected from this hotel. Proper housekeeping is an essential part of a comfortable stay, and unfortunately, this was not up to par.

Stacey Stafford: We stayed here recently and have returned it’s so ideal. The beds are huuuuge, the rooms are clean and you have everything you need. The gardens are beautiful and a pleasure to walk around.I also have a feeling of safety here - it’s very homey.Rooms: Rooms are extremely clean

Alison Owen: My sister and myself recently had a 2 night stay here. Mainly it was all very nice. Where it comes undone is the bathroom, to get the toilet paper you have to reach around behind you and also the shower over the bath, that was a dangerous experience as the bath was slippery as hell and I found it very difficult to use with my disability.Walkability: Lots of good places to eat and drink within walking distance

Monike San: Majestic Old Lion Apartment in North Adelaide is a fantastic place to stay, especially if you enjoy being near the vibrant Melbourne Street with its plethora of dining options. The new area boasts a range of restaurants, ensuring you’re never far from a great meal. The reception staff are both efficient and friendly, making check-in a breeze. Housekeeping does a commendable job, ensuring the bed is tidy and tea and coffee are replenished, although they do not clean the floor or kitchen. The two-bedroom apartment offers ample space, featuring a large living room and a well-equipped kitchen with an oven, microwave, and all necessary utensils. Additionally, it includes a washing machine, dryer, and sink for laundry needs. The charming old building is beautifully maintained, blending classic architecture with modern amenities. Leanne Tiver: Wonderful place to stay with many facilities to use. Something for everyone. Many different accommodation choices that are located around the park. Friendly & helpful staff. Ideally located in an area close to attractions if you choose to venture out of the self contained holiday resort.Safety: Well secured with wristband cards needed to enter every where.Walkability: Covers a big area but easy to walk to all facilities & accommodation.Food & drinks: Good choice of food & drinks for all meals as well as things to get for rooms such as milk bread etc

R K Shah: Holiday park is good

Debbie Innes: includes the bath, shower, and toilet all in the same room as a comfortable queen bed. The 2nd room had 2 singles. The floors are concrete so there is little to no noise between the 2 floors. The concrete floor is a tad cool on the feet in winter. Bedrooms have carpet, though. We were able to put a child guard up to stop the kids from going down the stairs. The downstairs unit has only 1 bathroom and felt a tad smaller than the upstairs. It also had everything you need.Towels were changed if you put them out.Overall a great place to stay

Lisa Sigley: We just had a lovely stay in you pool side 2 story apartments, but I have one complaint. The shower in the shared bathroom upstairs has no where to place your toiletries, no soap holder or shelf. As an older person I am unable to pick a bar of soap of the floor, and found it disgusting to see the top of the rain shower head covered in the previous occupants left over soap and shampoo/ conditioner container's, YUK!

Nathan Cook: This place is small but well set out. Plenty for the kids to do and the addition of 2x small bowling lanes was great fun.A part from being on the expensive side I only had a couple of down points. The shower/toilet block needs a big overhaul. It's looking very tired. A few more towels in the camp kitchen wouldn't go astray either. We've been to quite a few that also provide an airing rack to hang the wet towels.Whilst watching a movie at night you get two big spot lights shining into your face from behind the screen. Not great when trying to watch a movie.

Morgan: Our stay here was awesome, super easy to get around the park and local suburbs. The facilities kept all the kids and adults happy while we stayed here for 3 nights. We had a 3 bedroom cabin and it was a great space. Everything was clean and really well kept in the cabin and the park itself. Heaps of space for the kids to ride on bikes and close to the shops too. Lovely park and highly recommend!!

Claire Hinds: Older style hotel, but lovely. Was there in business. The rooms are quite spacious and the heater works well.Showers take a bit of time to heat up but nothing to complain about .Great location for eating out, many restaurants to choose from .Definitely look forward to staying there again.

Al Bartos: I would give this place 6 stars out of 5 if I could. I came down with my family last week for the footy and while the Crows had a stinker this motel was a winner. It’s a gorgeous little boutique inn right in the heart of North Adelaide. The rooms were immaculate and well maintained and staff couldn’t have been any friendlier. The kids had a blast swimming in the pool and the wife and I enjoyed taking a dip in the spa. You can spend a fortune on other hotels, trust me I have, but nothing compares to the charm and character of this place, especially considering how close it is to Adelaide Oval. There are countless scrumptious restaurants in walking distance, I recommend Cafe Palazzo. This will be the only place I stay in Adelaide from now on.

Priscilla Willis: The Adelaide Inn in O’Connell Street in Adelaide would get 11/10 from me if I could rank it up there, stayed here AGAIN overnight in May 2024, I just keep coming back I adore this Motel I find its location very central a walk distance to anywhere you need entertainment, good food, a great view, awesome staff, great locality you name it the Adelaide Inn has it, the rooms are 5⭐️, service is very welcoming, its rooms are convenient and quiet, YES it’s a 5⭐️ from meRooms: Beautiful, lots of different choice, I have stayed in multiple choice rooms, SPA room, just a walk in shower room and most recently a room with a beautiful shower rose over the lengthy long bath, hygiene in each room is of the highest priority and really worth the money paid for staying hereSafety: Absolutely feel secure here both personally and with my belongings, never in all my reoccurring stays have I ever felt this Motel or it’s surroundings are cause for concern, CCTV is paramount in and around the premisesWalkability: Everything you need and want is right on your doorstep, eateries, fuel, supermarket, entertainment, bars you name it O’Connell Street has itNoteworthy details: My review tells all about my re-occurring stays here at the Adelaide Inn, it’s worth noting it’s a highly recommended Motel from very personal experience

Brett Boston: Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value

Michelle Marc: Safety: The area surrounding the hotel felt safe and the hotel itself was controlled.Walkability: Right on the Main Street with plenty of cafes and restaurants. Bus stop at the door as well.Food & drinks: The restaurant was cozy and welcoming.

Michael Rogers: Great place to stay with plenty of eateries in the area. Rooms are a little retro but clean and very spacious. Very happy with the overall choice. Only issue you need to decide is whether you need parking because parking is limited and is an assigned pays only. When booking make sure that you book a parking space if you are going to be taking your car.

Margaret Bouma: Very happy with our 3 night stay here. The hotel is centrally located and the reception staff were professional and helpful. Our room was larger than expected, plus clean and tidy, with housekeeping done everyday. The room is a little old but this was more than compensated for by cleanliness, location, and service. The restaurant is also well priced and has a great selection on the menu. When booking direct with the hotel, parking was provided free of charge at the nearby Wilson’s car park, which is a short walk away via quaint alleyway with a very European vibe.

Dr Brett Heagren: and house-keeping was done everyday. While the room itself may not have had the most up-to-date features, this was more than compensated for by both cleanliness, location, and service - all of which I feel is far more important. The hotel also has the added bonus of having a great and well priced eating establishment- Maison Clement - on premise.

Tristan Sanchez: and public transport

Clare Bradley: We had a great stay at the Chancellor on Currie, during Adelaide's busiest March festival period. The rooms were older but fabulous because of it IMO -- I just love a hotel room with a bath and a decent armchair! That said, the mattress was a bit on the soft side. The pool, spa and gym facilities were fairly basic but very clean and serviceable. The best part was the fabulous in-house restaurant! I've never stayed in a hotel where I'd be both happy to and be able to afford to eat in every meal. We'll certainly return.Walkability: Centrally located with the increasingly excellent range of restaurants and bars on Currie, Peel and Hindley St laneways a mere stone's throw away.Food & drinks: In-house restaurant Maison Clement was a delight - reasonably priced and excellent quality French food, and friendly, capable staff.

Jeff Owens: This place is modern, clean, lots of facilities. Toilets/showers immaculate. Just on walking distance from town. However the caravan park is on a hill with teraced carvan spots. Depending on where you are allocated you will need to either reverse down hill or up hill both presenting issues. There are a few drive thru sites but get booked out quickly. New child playground getting installed. Quality roads and gutters throughout but sites aee bit on the small side. Still recommend though.

Stephen Watson: .Facilities are top notch, massive well equip camp kitchen

Kylie Byrne: What a lovely park! Awesome camp kitchen; enclosed with heating. Good size sites, enough for our camper & kids swag on one site. The room was comfortable, and the bed was especially cozy, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The view from my room was amazing, adding to the overall experience. The hotel’s central location is a major plus, with Chinatown just a few steps away and plenty of food options nearby. It’s truly an amazing property, perfectly situated for exploring the city. I highly recommend Hilton Adelaide for anyone looking for a comfortable, centrally-located stay with excellent service!

Lee Waters: Really great central location. Right next to tram station and literally round the corner from the excellent central market. Other than that a standard corporate hotel.Decent, consistent offer. Nothing to criticise, but not much to write home about either.Walkability: Right in heart of CBD, all main servjces and attractions accessible by foot

Aldo Mario: Very strategic place in very middle of CBD Adelaide that close to everywhere and every bis stop to anywhere, Rooms is very nice as we get 13th floor that can see beautiful scenery of Adelaide city and service is marvellous from check in process, breakfast, using the facility such as Gym, Tennis court and swimming pool!Totally recommended and we're looking forward to be back!

Richard Cunningham: The Hilton is well located by the free tram that will take you to the city mall, stadium, art gallery, wine museum, and market etc. Perfect. The whole friendly staffing team did their job and each in their own way contributed to a great stay. The rooms, the food, and service was top draw. I will definitely stay there next time in town and recommend it.Rooms: Well set up and clean.Nearby activities: Located to provide access to most Adelaide must do's.Safety: Never felt unsafe. A great city.Walkability: Could walk to most things.....the central market is super close and then there is the free tram.Food & drinks: The hotel provides great food and a great range of wines which is what I enjoy.Noteworthy details: The staffing team.

Roaming Bush Barbie: I wasn't particularly impressed with this hotel. The rooms are a shocker!!! Really outdated and unclean, certainly not a 5 star accommodation if the rooms are anything to go by. There are way too many staff at the reception but only one serving at a time so the lines go check in are long. Despite the staff being nice I found the $100 a night for bond off putting and I was super annoyed when I saw the type of room I got for that amount and bond. The location was great and the buffet breakfast was really delicious however I wouldn't be staying here again not for that rate or bond.

Ngoc Nguyen: Good hotel 🏨

J: Good location, nice staff, well presented and clean. Lovely buffet breakfast with coffee machine and a solid selection of food to choose from. Rooms are pretty basic, housekeeping kept making up my room even when I put the sign on the door not to which was weird. Also weird is that the toilet/shower is separated from the rest of the room by glass and while the middle is opaque for privacy, it does mean that if someone gets up for a wee in the middle of the night the whole room lights up like the light of day.

Nindya Cahya Dewanti (Nindy): I recently stayed at YHA Adelaide Central and had a fantastic experience! I stayed at a private room with my friend, which was incredibly clean and comfortable. The staff here are also exceptional. From the moment I arrived, they were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable stay.

Julia. S: Nice, large hostel with lots of space in the lounge area and in the clean and well-equipped kitchenSafety: Surveillance cameras and feeling safe thereWalkability: Quickly walked into the city center.Food & drinks: Free BBQ and always space in the kitchen

Angelica Catalan: Right in the middle of the city! Very decently priced and great facilities. They have a floor just for kitchens and have 6 stations to accommodate the crowd. There's also a quiet room for work and study. It also helped for them to have a scale in the lobby for us to weigh our carry on with ease. Room is decent but the walls are very thin and you can pretty much hear everything so you need to set the right expectations.

Joel Lammeretz: This hostel was fantastic for a relaxing stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The best part were the enormous common areas! They had a variety of rooms, including TV rooms, a quiet room, and even a shared library. The kitchen was massive, with tons of stovetops for everyone to cook.It wasn't quite as social as some hostels, like Sunrise Tequila Hostel. The sheer size of the place made it a bit trickier to bump into people. However, I still met some fellow travelers in the kitchen, common rooms, and even in my dorm room. The beds were pretty standard hostel fare - comfortable but not super fancy, and there weren't any individual privacy curtains like some hostels have. One downside was the price. It skyrocketed during the weekend because of a golf tournament in town, and there was only one room left. But generally, the price seems very reasonable for the quality you get. Overall, a great choice for a chill stay!

K L: Nice accommodation for the price. showers have a decent changing bench to put change of clothes. shower is pressure type head rather than my preferred spray. less holes for water to come out. Very nice kitchen and dining area with a pool table. very centrally located within walking distance to rundle mall and Chinatown/Adelaide market.
