Vocational Language Learning Centre - VLLC: what do users think?

Sarah Fotkou: I had a wonderful experience learning German with Christiane over the last year. Lessons were the right mix of challenge and fun delivered by a professional, well organised teacher with a passion for all things German. The laughs and easy rapport with Christiane were a happy bonus. I would highly recommend German at VLLC.

alyssa torrefranca: The ladies at VLLC Adelaide were super awesome and accomodating! Mali was very informative about the course and checked in on me every now and then about my progress which was very good and Christiane’s teaching methods have helped me understood the German language very easily for a beginner! We established rapport quickly, it made me feel confident even with mistakes and she was very patient in correcting them. I will definitely recommend this school if you are interested in learning German 🇩🇪 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nemanja Lovric: Amazing Experience, well worth every minute.I was happy with the exception service and amazing attitude each team member had. They had a drive and a passion to be there and help where they could.Would do again!

Will Morelli: VLLC was a great jump-start into learning Mandarin. The staff in Adelaide as well as the office staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Over my course, I had two tutors, both of them experts in helping with annunciation and cognition. The fifth star I regrettably must retract from my review as the software for their program is very archaic, and being as most of the study is done via this software, I think it could greatly benefit from being re-written. The tutors and the staff make this program worthwhile, but the software will leave you wondering why you're paying so much for a "good enough" system.

Renee Ryan: I have had a wonderful experience at VLLC the past few years learning Italian. The atmosphere made me feel welcome and I have always had support throughout my language experience. Mali is so warm and welcoming and wants everyone to achieve their language goals! My Italian tutor, Yolanda, is amazing. She explains everything thoroughly and will always check for understanding or answer any questions I have. I have learnt so much in such a short period of time and can understand and speak Italian more fluently now. I am so glad I came across VLLC to learn a language. I would recommend 5/5!

Tanisha June: VLLC is one of the best language learning facilities I have come across. Everyone involved is so helpful, understanding and the kindest of people. The teachers/tutors are amazing and are able to really help you if you are struggling! They have the best tips and tricks for learning in the most effective ways. They helped make learning a language easy and not stressful. They like to get to know you so you feel comfortable and they can find out the best way to help you learn. I will be using VLLC in my future language learning endeavors!

Filizof: Not only do you learn about the language and culture, you come out a speaker of the language and a person of that culture.

Nat Rogers: I did a google search in Adelaide for Thai Language lessons and found VLLC which had a very central location .I am about to finish 18 weeks of Thai lessons.I have done one hour of online homework and one hour of one on one with an excellent instructor at their location at Melbourne street during the time of this course. My instructor Mai has been very open and easy to learn with. She is adept at turning my challenges into new opportunities to learn.I have learnt the alphabet , basic spelling , basic construction of sentences which was more than I thought I might learn. My speech has improved a lot too and I am very pleased with the result of these lessons.Thankyou to the friendly team at VLLC 😊

Saswat Das: Have been trying to call the numbers listed. No-one picks up.Very proactive they called back today.

Barbara Bugeja: That moment of surprise when you speak to your 92 year old grandmother in her native tongue, priceless! Yes you can rote learn these days for free, but you wouldn't have half as much fun or learn half as much. It has been so rewarding, I can thoroughly recommend.Positive Communication, Quality, Professionalism …

Dane Sampson: I very much enjoy learning a new language with VLLC ! The people are very friendly and eager to help achieve your goals. The format for learning makes for quick progress and an enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend learning with VLLC !

Morgaine Delahoy: Throughout Years 11 and 12 of my schooling I studied Spanish through VLLC, and it's all thanks to them that I was able to learn a language in such a fun and personal way. Working with my tutors was incredible and everyone is supportive and kind.Thank you so much to Margarita for starting me on my journey, and to Vivian and Romina for helping me finish it.Thank you to Katerina and Jo for supporting me and helping me on my way there.Muchas gracias for all of your help, I couldn't have done it without you 3

VLLC Adelaide: A huge thank you to Jo, Iris, Mali and all of the wonderful tutors who made it possible to obtain my Certificate IV in Italian. You all made the process so easy. Highly recommended.

Will Proudman: A great language teaching business with wonderful staff and tutors!

Mason Meyers: Ever wanted to learn a language? This is a fun and friendly way to do it, and quite flexible indeed. Fantastic and helpful folks here, and enjoyable lesson plans. Give it a try. それをお勧めします

Georgia Noll: VLLC is the language school, where I study French. I am a second year student. I have two different tutors, this helps me progress faster. I am happy, I hope to use my skills in French, I hope to work in France

Chris Horne: Currently learning german at VLLC so I can study overseas. I've had an awesome experience so far, the tutors and staff are super friendly and the program is awesome. Didn't know what to expect initially but couldn't be happier with how everything works and the progress I've made so far. Would recommend to anyone!

Katsumoto: what do users think?

gen thomas: Delicious very authentic japanese beautifully presented. Sweet seating area under the skylight.Nice staff. My favorite japanese resturant.

Quoc Tran (Johnny): .There's Japanese music pumping and the decor gives a way more authentic Tokyo feel than most places in Adelaide. This will be our new go to for quick and easy sushi. Keep up the good work!

Monike San: Katsumoto Restaurant delivers a delightful dining experience. The katsu, while delicious, had one piece that was slightly over-fried. The ramen, however, was a highlight, boasting a rich and flavorful broth. Service at Katsumoto is exceptional, with staff displaying constant friendliness and efficiency. Though the absence of a water jar on the table is a minor inconvenience, the staff compensates by cheerfully refilling cups at the counter whenever needed. Their unwavering willingness to assist, always with a genuine smile, enhances the overall dining experience. Katsumoto combines great food with outstanding service, making it a place worth visiting.

Chelsea Easton: The food was so filling and delicious! Definitely my favourite place to go for lunch in Rundle. The tempura is so crispy, rice fluffy, Una is soft, and the potato salad is creamy! They’re generous with the servings of everything too!!The vibe is so calming, eating here and chatting with friends is just an amazing experience.

Alysha Rosly: This hidden gem offers an authentic Japanese cuisine that won't break your bankI tried the Una-Don Set which came with miso soup and pickles. I couldn't fault anything. However, my partner's Katsu Curry was a bit small and flat than expected.Overall, this restaurant offers good value for money and is a great spot to satisfy your Japanese cravings in Adelaide CBD..🍛 Una-Don Set ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🍚 Katsu Curry ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Mark Mywords: is a fantastic spot for a quick lunchtime bite, or if you've got time on your hands, a great sit down meal. Dishes come quickly and food is generally good quality. The 'meal sets' are incredible value, which include, miso soup, pickles, potato salad, a bowl of rice and the main meal.Dishes such as Hiyaki Chu-ka - a cold summer noodle dish is something you don't find everywhere and is a favourite, even though the recipe has been changed and I believe is more Chinese than Japanese. Since the new owners took over some years ago, the menu has been slightly 'Chinafied' from the original Japanese owners, however, they have expanded the menu for the better and the choices are excellent, with genuine Japanese flavours shining through.Staff can be a little offhand and seemingly hurried for no reason, but this may be a cultural thing for efficient customer service. If you're in Rundle Mall, Katsumoto is worth a visit. You won't be disappointed.Pictured: Miso soup and tempura bento box.Highly recommended

Ramen & Izakaya Himeji: what do users think?

G P: The ramen broth is tasty and not too salty; however the chashu pork belly could be more tender. Unfortunately it also has a slightly strange aftertaste which isn't that bad but it's still present. They also offer a free ramen on your birthday so be sure to come support the restaurant with your friends!

AP MD: Great tasting ramen restaurant in the heart of Adelaide's business district, probably some of the best I've hadWeather's gotten cold lately and some hearty ramen food was on the cravings. This place absolutely nailed it - absolutely elite level ramen with enough variability to please everyone.Combine this with a cool environment and passion from the cooks and you land yourself a great dining experienceAt times I found the staff a little impersonal, but it didn't detract from the food and quality overallAs the weather gets colder, or when the soup cravings kick in, this is a place that's definitely worth keeping on the radar. Get the large bowel though, you know you'll finish it

Jm Bautista: nigiri are also very delicious. Excellent service and staffs are really nice and friendly. Will always come back to this place for a good bowl of ramen

Yoong Hwee See: belly is very good. All their sushi comes as with a thick cut of fish. Also had the waygu which though nice is not as good as expected. The agedashi tofu is also very good , fried to the right texture and soaked in the broth. The dish would be perfect if the broth is slightly less salty. All in, a very good meal.

Lonny MacLeod: Best ramen in Adelaide - made in house! They’ve got the perfect bite and girthiness to them. The meat slices are also really juicy!Food: 5/5 …

ichy kotaba: I visited for lunch on a weekday.Service and taste qualityJust like Japan ✨ Tempura bento when visitingI orderedThe taste exceeds expectations, even for those studying abroad.I was very pleased

Clara L: Went there for lunch. Had their lunch specials bento set. Reasonably priced excellent food. Bento came with an wide assortment of starters, main, salads and 3 kinds of pickles, and miso soup that's real miso and not the instant tasting kind. Rice was fluffy and cooked just right! Will come back againVegetarian options: Veg options availableDietary restrictions: Gluten free options

Monike San: Sato Japanese Restaurant is a delightful culinary escape that feels just like stepping into Japan. We first saw this bustling spot on a Saturday, packed with diners, and decided to try our luck on a quieter Monday. The food did not disappoint—every dish was super delicious. The ramen broth was rich and flavorful, a true highlight. The tempura was perfectly fried with a light, crispy batter. Banquet A, featuring beef shogayaki, was a standout with its robust ginger flavor.Service was exceptional, adding to the overall fantastic experience. For anyone seeking authentic Japanese cuisine with a welcoming atmosphere, Sato Japanese Restaurant is highly recommended. You’ll leave with a satisfied palate and a desire to return.

Sicily Mylove: according to the traditional food flavours and that it's a family owned which you can never go wrong! The food has amazing flavours in every plate ordered. The service is wonderful and staff are amazing, friendly and helpful...our family loved it!! 💯We found our favourite place and will be going back again and recommend everyone to try it out!! 💯🍜Parking: Melbourne St parking area is always hard to find but go early and you'll find it on the road.

Kate Munro: . The only thing that was lacking was the tempura batter on the prawns - thick and doughy - but the vegetables were perfect. Service was friendly, prompt, and servers were friendly with each other.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible unless they have a ramp hidden somewhere.

Susie Leach: What a find! We were lucky to come across this restaurant near our Airbnb. It was authentic, fresh and delicious. Shin and Mau were very hospitable and went out of there way to make us feel welcome. Impeccable service. The chef made awesome sushi rolls!!! Thankyou,Mark n Susie.Dietary restrictions: Catered for Gluten Free

Nal Nal: The interior makes you feel like you're visiting Japan. I had a $32 sashimi + tempura bento and the unagi seemed delicious. I liked it because it had a bit of an authentic Japanese bento feel, but it was disappointing that there was no tap beer. The Korean man serving the hall was friendly, and the bathroom interior was very unique, so be sure to visit the bathroom. It's a bit pricey, but the sashimi quality was good and it's worth coming for the bento.

Chee T: I recently had an incredible dining experience at Ginza Miyako, a Japanese restaurant that offers an all-you-can-eat menu. Despite the all-you-can-eat format, the quality of the food was outstanding. Every dish was prepared with great attention to detail and presented beautifully. From the fresh sashimi and sushi to the deliciously tender grilled meats, every bite was a delight. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring our glasses were always full and our plates promptly cleared. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal with friends or family.

Linda J: Recommend to try the new Japanese buffet😍😍As much as Sashimi and Wagyu beef you can eat, but not only for those. Menu options on menu and no limited but only for $78/pp. Look that big boat🤣 Also they have Wagyu beef hotpot with four soup base you can choose. Food are Fresh and refreshing! Atmosphere is high classic and specially can choose sit at wooden tatami😌

Tamara Wilton: Went to Ginza Miyako for a friend's birthday dinner.Another friend and myself ordered the sushi boat made vegan. It was bought out on two small boats, and everything was delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was great as we were able to chat without any loud background noise to compete with.It is more on the expensive side, but definitely worth it if you want a special night out.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options and a small vegan menu.Dietary restrictions: They have vegetarian options and a small vegan menu. I believe they will do their best to cater to dietary requirementsParking: There are several paid parking lots nearby, no free parking nearby though.

Tom Buck: I went here with my friend earlier today. It was a great experience. The food was delicious. The service was impeccable. The waitress was perfect! Everything about this restaurant was so good. I really enjoyed the calm and welcoming atmosphere. The music in the background was very relaxing. Despite being situated on a busy street in Adelaide city, entering this restaurant felt like being transported to a quiet little place in Kyoto. Fantastic experience! Thank you!

sahanmalee peellawattage: The food is excellent for the price, offering a great variety and high quality. The service provided by two Japanese women were amazing—attentive, friendly, and very professional. I will definitely visit again and again. To top it off, they surprised us with a special dessert for my partner's birthday, making our stay even more memorable. Highly recommended!

Liisa Grace Baun: We were looking for somewhere to go and eat on our way to a show and came across this lovely Japanese restaurant. The atmosphere is very pleasant and quiet, the staff were very friendly and the food was absolutely delicious! If you are after some traditional Japanese in Adelaide please look no further this was the best and most genuine and tasty Japanese dining I have had in such a long time!Tuna belly sushi I cannot stop thinking about.Dōmo arigato Hotaru!

thoma henbest: Poor reviews of this place should be ignored, this place is authentic, lovely and cheap for what you're getting! If you need your food in a hurry, go to sushi train. If you want to support a great little place, go here!

Katrina Byleveld: Food was a while to come but not too long, shows that food is cooked as ordered and not all pre cooked. Priscilla was lovely, service was greatFor those who say portions are stingy, you don’t need to eat a stupid amount of food, it’s more important to have good food over an overflowing bowl of chipsHighly recommend if you love GOOD food

Edo Scheffer: Takumi Yakitori in Adelaide is an absolute gem! From the moment you step through the familiar Japanese cloths at the door, you are welcomed with warmth and friendliness. The service is impeccable, and the staff goes out of their way to make your evening perfect. The food is simply delicious; every yakitori is prepared with care. Fortunately not all you can eat!But what really impresses is Eddie, the fantastic owner. He takes the time to guide you through the menu, passionately explains about the different sakes they serve and makes every guest feel special. An evening at Takumi Yakitori is not just going out for dinner, it is an experience that will stay with you for a long time.

M T: Yakitori Takumi holds a special place in my heart as an Adelaide institution where I've been dining for over a decade. Its intimate and cozy atmosphere creates the perfect setting for enjoying their authentic Japanese-style BBQ skewers, ideal for sharing. What sets Yakitori Takumi apart is not only its delicious food but also its incredible Saké collection. The staff's expertise in recommending the right Saké to complement your meal adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience.

Ryo's Noodles: what do users think?

Yilin Li: Their food has a strong flavor and very depends on personal's choice - they have their own style in flavor but not everyone likes it. However, you have lots of options to amend certain part of the dishes to make it more suitable for you - But the problem is they did not show you all the options, unless you ran into a nice waitress who provides recommendations. Hope they can sort this out.And my personal choice is Chef Special with less salt - to be fair, this one is very oily but I like it, as it has a really strong flavor. And if you prefer less oliy soup, you would better choose chicken ones.

meg ୨୧: usually at japanese restaurants in adelaide, the quality is terrible but for this restaurant for around 20 dollars i got very good ramen. i added corn for three dollars and they actually added a lot of corn which was nice to see.the bowl looked very small so i was worried but it had way more noodles than the other restaurants. very impressed. the spring onion, noodles, corn and chashu were all amazing.very glad to see a japanese restaurant in adelaide that knows how to give good quality and pricing! will come back.

Alisha Shai: RYO Noodles is a gem in the world of ramen. From the moment you step in, the aroma of savory broth and fresh noodles envelops you, setting the stage for a culinary journey. The menu boasts an impressive variety of ramen options, each crafted with precision and care. Whether you're a traditionalist craving classic tonkotsu or adventurous enough to try their innovative fusion creations, RYO Noodles delivers on flavor and authenticity. The noodles, perfectly chewy, dance in the rich broth, while the toppings, from tender slices of chashu to perfectly soft-boiled eggs, elevate each bowl to a work of art. The ambiance is cozy yet modern, with attentive staff adding to the welcoming atmosphere. RYO Noodles isn't just a meal; it's an experience that leaves you craving more with very reasonable price and fulfilling portion that you cannot get any where else. And My dear friends don’t miss chef special 😘. I wish I could take that chef to home who can always feed me yummy.🤣❣️.All the staff are super friendly and welcoming so what do you think whoelse need more than that.
