School of Languages: what do users think?

Sanaz Dashgarzadeh: I've heard so many good things about this school, but unfortunately it doesn't have the language I'm looking for: Swedish. I think others have requested this language in the past.

Rebecca Anderson: Our children attend language lessons in the afternoons and also attend the holiday days with Languages Alive, cannot speak highly enough of all the staff and the activities, my children love it!

Najib Maddah: Very good

Frederick Liew: It's very nice and big. The teachers are very kind and let you learn a language while having fun

Vocational Language Learning Centre - VLLC: what do users think?

Sarah Fotkou: I had a wonderful experience learning German with Christiane over the last year. Lessons were the right mix of challenge and fun delivered by a professional, well organised teacher with a passion for all things German. The laughs and easy rapport with Christiane were a happy bonus. I would highly recommend German at VLLC.

alyssa torrefranca: The ladies at VLLC Adelaide were super awesome and accomodating! Mali was very informative about the course and checked in on me every now and then about my progress which was very good and Christiane’s teaching methods have helped me understood the German language very easily for a beginner! We established rapport quickly, it made me feel confident even with mistakes and she was very patient in correcting them. I will definitely recommend this school if you are interested in learning German 🇩🇪 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nemanja Lovric: Amazing Experience, well worth every minute.I was happy with the exception service and amazing attitude each team member had. They had a drive and a passion to be there and help where they could.Would do again!

Will Morelli: VLLC was a great jump-start into learning Mandarin. The staff in Adelaide as well as the office staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Over my course, I had two tutors, both of them experts in helping with annunciation and cognition. The fifth star I regrettably must retract from my review as the software for their program is very archaic, and being as most of the study is done via this software, I think it could greatly benefit from being re-written. The tutors and the staff make this program worthwhile, but the software will leave you wondering why you're paying so much for a "good enough" system.

Renee Ryan: I have had a wonderful experience at VLLC the past few years learning Italian. The atmosphere made me feel welcome and I have always had support throughout my language experience. Mali is so warm and welcoming and wants everyone to achieve their language goals! My Italian tutor, Yolanda, is amazing. She explains everything thoroughly and will always check for understanding or answer any questions I have. I have learnt so much in such a short period of time and can understand and speak Italian more fluently now. I am so glad I came across VLLC to learn a language. I would recommend 5/5!

Tanisha June: VLLC is one of the best language learning facilities I have come across. Everyone involved is so helpful, understanding and the kindest of people. The teachers/tutors are amazing and are able to really help you if you are struggling! They have the best tips and tricks for learning in the most effective ways. They helped make learning a language easy and not stressful. They like to get to know you so you feel comfortable and they can find out the best way to help you learn. I will be using VLLC in my future language learning endeavors!

Filizof: Not only do you learn about the language and culture, you come out a speaker of the language and a person of that culture.

Nat Rogers: I did a google search in Adelaide for Thai Language lessons and found VLLC which had a very central location .I am about to finish 18 weeks of Thai lessons.I have done one hour of online homework and one hour of one on one with an excellent instructor at their location at Melbourne street during the time of this course. My instructor Mai has been very open and easy to learn with. She is adept at turning my challenges into new opportunities to learn.I have learnt the alphabet , basic spelling , basic construction of sentences which was more than I thought I might learn. My speech has improved a lot too and I am very pleased with the result of these lessons.Thankyou to the friendly team at VLLC 😊

Saswat Das: Have been trying to call the numbers listed. No-one picks up.Very proactive they called back today.

Barbara Bugeja: That moment of surprise when you speak to your 92 year old grandmother in her native tongue, priceless! Yes you can rote learn these days for free, but you wouldn't have half as much fun or learn half as much. It has been so rewarding, I can thoroughly recommend.Positive Communication, Quality, Professionalism …

Dane Sampson: I very much enjoy learning a new language with VLLC ! The people are very friendly and eager to help achieve your goals. The format for learning makes for quick progress and an enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend learning with VLLC !

Morgaine Delahoy: Throughout Years 11 and 12 of my schooling I studied Spanish through VLLC, and it's all thanks to them that I was able to learn a language in such a fun and personal way. Working with my tutors was incredible and everyone is supportive and kind.Thank you so much to Margarita for starting me on my journey, and to Vivian and Romina for helping me finish it.Thank you to Katerina and Jo for supporting me and helping me on my way there.Muchas gracias for all of your help, I couldn't have done it without you 3

VLLC Adelaide: A huge thank you to Jo, Iris, Mali and all of the wonderful tutors who made it possible to obtain my Certificate IV in Italian. You all made the process so easy. Highly recommended.

Will Proudman: A great language teaching business with wonderful staff and tutors!

Mason Meyers: Ever wanted to learn a language? This is a fun and friendly way to do it, and quite flexible indeed. Fantastic and helpful folks here, and enjoyable lesson plans. Give it a try. それをお勧めします

Georgia Noll: VLLC is the language school, where I study French. I am a second year student. I have two different tutors, this helps me progress faster. I am happy, I hope to use my skills in French, I hope to work in France

Chris Horne: Currently learning german at VLLC so I can study overseas. I've had an awesome experience so far, the tutors and staff are super friendly and the program is awesome. Didn't know what to expect initially but couldn't be happier with how everything works and the progress I've made so far. Would recommend to anyone!

Ginza Miyako Japanese Restaurant: what do users think?

Chee T: I recently had an incredible dining experience at Ginza Miyako, a Japanese restaurant that offers an all-you-can-eat menu. Despite the all-you-can-eat format, the quality of the food was outstanding. Every dish was prepared with great attention to detail and presented beautifully. From the fresh sashimi and sushi to the deliciously tender grilled meats, every bite was a delight. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring our glasses were always full and our plates promptly cleared. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal with friends or family.

Linda J: Recommend to try the new Japanese buffet😍😍As much as Sashimi and Wagyu beef you can eat, but not only for those. Menu options on menu and no limited but only for $78/pp. Look that big boat🤣 Also they have Wagyu beef hotpot with four soup base you can choose. Food are Fresh and refreshing! Atmosphere is high classic and specially can choose sit at wooden tatami😌

Tamara Wilton: Went to Ginza Miyako for a friend's birthday dinner.Another friend and myself ordered the sushi boat made vegan. It was bought out on two small boats, and everything was delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was great as we were able to chat without any loud background noise to compete with.It is more on the expensive side, but definitely worth it if you want a special night out.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options and a small vegan menu.Dietary restrictions: They have vegetarian options and a small vegan menu. I believe they will do their best to cater to dietary requirementsParking: There are several paid parking lots nearby, no free parking nearby though.

Tom Buck: I went here with my friend earlier today. It was a great experience. The food was delicious. The service was impeccable. The waitress was perfect! Everything about this restaurant was so good. I really enjoyed the calm and welcoming atmosphere. The music in the background was very relaxing. Despite being situated on a busy street in Adelaide city, entering this restaurant felt like being transported to a quiet little place in Kyoto. Fantastic experience! Thank you!

sahanmalee peellawattage: The food is excellent for the price, offering a great variety and high quality. The service provided by two Japanese women were amazing—attentive, friendly, and very professional. I will definitely visit again and again. To top it off, they surprised us with a special dessert for my partner's birthday, making our stay even more memorable. Highly recommended!

Liisa Grace Baun: We were looking for somewhere to go and eat on our way to a show and came across this lovely Japanese restaurant. The atmosphere is very pleasant and quiet, the staff were very friendly and the food was absolutely delicious! If we weren't in a hurry we would have also tried a dessert.Next time!

Gandharva Ashtekar: The establishment has a modest capacity of approximately 25-30 seats. They provide delicious meals with excellent service, although it's not particularly exceptional since it's a decent establishment. Regarding Japanese restaurants, it would enhance the ambience if they removed all their food packaging materials from the guest table.

Shiki Japanese Restaurant: what do users think?

Kristen S: The setting of this restaurant is fantastic and the service we received from both the waiter and teppanyaki chef were great. Food was good, but not worth the price point in my opinion. We spent $380 here, being the most expensive teppanyaki we have had, however the food quality was not as good as we have experienced elsewhere. Delicious nonetheless, but you can get better teppanyaki elsewhere for a much more reasonable price.

Allan Smith: After going to a game of footy in Adelaide and watching my team win, there’s nothing like celebrating at a nice restaurant like the Shiki, Adelaide's Award Winning Japanese Teppanyaki Restaurant located at the InterContinental Adelaide. This is where you can immerse yourself in authentic Japanese teppanyaki in the heart of Adelaide. Headed by Shiki Chef de Cuisine, Kenny Trinh, where the team have created a delicious menu of truly succulent sushi, sashimi… and the list goes on and on. They are without a doubt, the ‘best of the best’, and proud to showcase South Australian produce. The menu is extensive like the wine list, however I strongly suggest you try the sushi and sashimi selection, prawn tempura, wagyu beef, bok choy and snow peas, vegetable fried rice and miso soup, and for dessert the mango mousse with coconut jelly. All complimented with the traditional Japanese wine, sake. What more can I say - everything was tasty, juicy and cooked to perfection. Staff were friendly and professional, and everything else was cosy and romantic. Very Highly Recommended 👏👍😊

Tim Wright: Can’t recommend this restaurant enough, I absolutely love every aspect of itRecommended dishes Prawn Tempura, Three Dipping Sauces, Sashimi Plate …

ichy kotaba: I visited for lunch on a weekday.Service and taste qualityJust like Japan ✨ Tempura bento when visitingI orderedThe taste exceeds expectations, even for those studying abroad.I was very pleased

Clara L: Went there for lunch. Had their lunch specials bento set. Reasonably priced excellent food. Bento came with an wide assortment of starters, main, salads and 3 kinds of pickles, and miso soup that's real miso and not the instant tasting kind. Rice was fluffy and cooked just right! Will come back againVegetarian options: Veg options availableDietary restrictions: Gluten free options

Monike San: Sato Japanese Restaurant is a delightful culinary escape that feels just like stepping into Japan. We first saw this bustling spot on a Saturday, packed with diners, and decided to try our luck on a quieter Monday. The food did not disappoint—every dish was super delicious. The ramen broth was rich and flavorful, a true highlight. The tempura was perfectly fried with a light, crispy batter. Banquet A, featuring beef shogayaki, was a standout with its robust ginger flavor.Service was exceptional, adding to the overall fantastic experience. For anyone seeking authentic Japanese cuisine with a welcoming atmosphere, Sato Japanese Restaurant is highly recommended. You’ll leave with a satisfied palate and a desire to return.

Sicily Mylove: according to the traditional food flavours and that it's a family owned which you can never go wrong! The food has amazing flavours in every plate ordered. The service is wonderful and staff are amazing, friendly and helpful...our family loved it!! 💯We found our favourite place and will be going back again and recommend everyone to try it out!! 💯🍜Parking: Melbourne St parking area is always hard to find but go early and you'll find it on the road.

Kate Munro: . The only thing that was lacking was the tempura batter on the prawns - thick and doughy - but the vegetables were perfect. Service was friendly, prompt, and servers were friendly with each other.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible unless they have a ramp hidden somewhere.

Susie Leach: What a find! We were lucky to come across this restaurant near our Airbnb. It was authentic, fresh and delicious. Shin and Mau were very hospitable and went out of there way to make us feel welcome. Impeccable service. The chef made awesome sushi rolls!!! Thankyou,Mark n Susie.Dietary restrictions: Catered for Gluten Free

Nal Nal: The interior makes you feel like you're visiting Japan. I had a $32 sashimi + tempura bento and the unagi seemed delicious. I liked it because it had a bit of an authentic Japanese bento feel, but it was disappointing that there was no tap beer. The Korean man serving the hall was friendly, and the bathroom interior was very unique, so be sure to visit the bathroom. It's a bit pricey, but the sashimi quality was good and it's worth coming for the bento.

Mark Page: RIP. Was a good place to eat.

Peter Mader: Good food, always fresh , attentive service. Everything you want in a sushi train .Unfortunately closing soon

Virginia Ho: This is by far a really good Sushi Train in comparison with the other franchisees around Australia. Rice is at the right moisture and plump. Fish is fresh. High turn over and there were loads of people.

Fero Cerri: Always a delight to dine in. Lot's of variety to try and enjoy. Always fresh.

Jon Hunter: Not a fan of sushi, so luckily they have loads of food that i like: karage chicken, katsu chicken curry, teriaki chicken, spring rolls, gyozas.... all freshly cooked and really cheap too

A Team: Good value for money. Sushi was fresh and tasted great. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Philip Harvey: Top Sushi. Staff very nice.

Olivia: Busy on a Friday evening. Very friendly staff, fair pricing, delicious tasting sushi with a reasonable alternative diet menu.

KoKo Black: Staffs are friendly, food are fresh.

ROY HUBBARD: Great food great service, will go back

Erato Teppanyaki: what do users think?

Dan Duncan: Absolutely 5 stars for this restaurant. It was not only a beautiful and delicious meal, it was an experience. The restaurant has been recreated within the walls of an old bank and it is majestic within.Several Teppinyaki plates surround the inner space of the restaurant and we were lead to our space which we were greeted by a talented chef that was beyond amazing with his craft of Teppinyaki. He was amazing to watch and the food was sensational. It is a little expensive, however you get what you pay for. Definitely worth the money. If you are in Adelaide, give this a visit

lindsay rainey: Had an excellent dinner here for a friend's bucks. The quality of food, drinks and taste was excellent. There is something really relaxing about watching a professional chef prepare and cook amazing dishes and while less showy then the few other Teppanyaki places I've been to, the food was definitely the best.

Peter Tregenza: Parking: You can usually find parking somewhere in the streets nearby. You might have to walk a few hundred metres. Otherwise, there is paid parking close by off Gouger Street above the Central Market.

Miss J: Came back after the reno, a whole lot smaller space. Sushi boat was still great. The duck meat soba was flavoursm and delicious too. Tories chicken was creamy. But looks very small. Unagi was tender and yummy. Agedashi tofu was crispy and sauce was mild yet delicious. Karaage chicken was not good at all, soggy. Sashimi don is not bad, sushi rice was flavoursm. Wagyu sukiyaki was very delicious and heart warming, it comes with noodles as well. But the soup will go very well with rice too. Friendly service.

Ngoc Nguyen: Very good 👍

Cherry H: Came here on a cold Winter night for some sukiyaki and was not disappointed! Haven’t been to Wasai since they re-did the shop so a lot was ordered for two. The tempura prawn came with tempura sweet potato, mushroom, fish cake and greens. The sauce went great with the battered foods. Spider roll and spicy salmon sushi roll were very nice but the aburi salmon roll was the best with its torched flavour and had the perfect amount of sauce! Sukiyaki was warm and comforting with lots of beef and cabbage. The chef special grilled sea perch also stood out and we’re so glad we ordered it! Get it if you still can, the fish was grilled so well and the flesh was sweet and firm. Overall fantastic experience, and would love to go again!

ARKEA 0203Tomo: The real Japanese food restaurant in Adelaide. Also the price is reasonable. I had Sukiyaki that reminds me one I had at my house in Japan. 100% recommend this restaurant.*Not westernized Japanese food*

david yuu: Good tempura
