Vocational Language Learning Centre - VLLC: what do users think?

Sarah Fotkou: I had a wonderful experience learning German with Christiane over the last year. Lessons were the right mix of challenge and fun delivered by a professional, well organised teacher with a passion for all things German. The laughs and easy rapport with Christiane were a happy bonus. I would highly recommend German at VLLC.

alyssa torrefranca: The ladies at VLLC Adelaide were super awesome and accomodating! Mali was very informative about the course and checked in on me every now and then about my progress which was very good and Christiane’s teaching methods have helped me understood the German language very easily for a beginner! We established rapport quickly, it made me feel confident even with mistakes and she was very patient in correcting them. I will definitely recommend this school if you are interested in learning German 🇩🇪 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nemanja Lovric: Amazing Experience, well worth every minute.I was happy with the exception service and amazing attitude each team member had. They had a drive and a passion to be there and help where they could.Would do again!

Will Morelli: VLLC was a great jump-start into learning Mandarin. The staff in Adelaide as well as the office staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Over my course, I had two tutors, both of them experts in helping with annunciation and cognition. The fifth star I regrettably must retract from my review as the software for their program is very archaic, and being as most of the study is done via this software, I think it could greatly benefit from being re-written. The tutors and the staff make this program worthwhile, but the software will leave you wondering why you're paying so much for a "good enough" system.

Renee Ryan: I have had a wonderful experience at VLLC the past few years learning Italian. The atmosphere made me feel welcome and I have always had support throughout my language experience. Mali is so warm and welcoming and wants everyone to achieve their language goals! My Italian tutor, Yolanda, is amazing. She explains everything thoroughly and will always check for understanding or answer any questions I have. I have learnt so much in such a short period of time and can understand and speak Italian more fluently now. I am so glad I came across VLLC to learn a language. I would recommend 5/5!

Tanisha June: VLLC is one of the best language learning facilities I have come across. Everyone involved is so helpful, understanding and the kindest of people. The teachers/tutors are amazing and are able to really help you if you are struggling! They have the best tips and tricks for learning in the most effective ways. They helped make learning a language easy and not stressful. They like to get to know you so you feel comfortable and they can find out the best way to help you learn. I will be using VLLC in my future language learning endeavors!

Filizof: Not only do you learn about the language and culture, you come out a speaker of the language and a person of that culture.

Nat Rogers: I did a google search in Adelaide for Thai Language lessons and found VLLC which had a very central location .I am about to finish 18 weeks of Thai lessons.I have done one hour of online homework and one hour of one on one with an excellent instructor at their location at Melbourne street during the time of this course. My instructor Mai has been very open and easy to learn with. She is adept at turning my challenges into new opportunities to learn.I have learnt the alphabet , basic spelling , basic construction of sentences which was more than I thought I might learn. My speech has improved a lot too and I am very pleased with the result of these lessons.Thankyou to the friendly team at VLLC 😊

Saswat Das: Have been trying to call the numbers listed. No-one picks up.Very proactive they called back today.

Barbara Bugeja: That moment of surprise when you speak to your 92 year old grandmother in her native tongue, priceless! Yes you can rote learn these days for free, but you wouldn't have half as much fun or learn half as much. It has been so rewarding, I can thoroughly recommend.Positive Communication, Quality, Professionalism …

Dane Sampson: I very much enjoy learning a new language with VLLC ! The people are very friendly and eager to help achieve your goals. The format for learning makes for quick progress and an enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend learning with VLLC !

Morgaine Delahoy: Throughout Years 11 and 12 of my schooling I studied Spanish through VLLC, and it's all thanks to them that I was able to learn a language in such a fun and personal way. Working with my tutors was incredible and everyone is supportive and kind.Thank you so much to Margarita for starting me on my journey, and to Vivian and Romina for helping me finish it.Thank you to Katerina and Jo for supporting me and helping me on my way there.Muchas gracias for all of your help, I couldn't have done it without you 3

VLLC Adelaide: A huge thank you to Jo, Iris, Mali and all of the wonderful tutors who made it possible to obtain my Certificate IV in Italian. You all made the process so easy. Highly recommended.

Will Proudman: A great language teaching business with wonderful staff and tutors!

Mason Meyers: Ever wanted to learn a language? This is a fun and friendly way to do it, and quite flexible indeed. Fantastic and helpful folks here, and enjoyable lesson plans. Give it a try. それをお勧めします

Georgia Noll: VLLC is the language school, where I study French. I am a second year student. I have two different tutors, this helps me progress faster. I am happy, I hope to use my skills in French, I hope to work in France

Chris Horne: Currently learning german at VLLC so I can study overseas. I've had an awesome experience so far, the tutors and staff are super friendly and the program is awesome. Didn't know what to expect initially but couldn't be happier with how everything works and the progress I've made so far. Would recommend to anyone!

Borsa Pasta Cucina: what do users think?

Daneille Turner: was excellent. My home-made Agnolotti was lavishly filled with pumpkin, ricotta and lovely crunchy pine-nuts, in a cheesy, creamy butter sauce that just hit the spot. We found both dishes very authentic in flavour and presentation. Servings were very generous.Coupling these dishes with a punchy craft beer and a flavoursome Italian Sangiovese and we were very happy indeed. Complimentary bread and olive oil

Paul Wyatt: Wow!The service is absolutely lovely. Caring, thoughtful and attentive staff and I thank you. You always add to my experience. The food - Awesome. I recently enjoyed the seafood pasta and thought gee this is nice and then as i finished the dish, I realised this is my new favorite.A very nice wine menu. The atmosphere is relaxed which i enjoy. The people there are enjoying themselves which is exactly what I like. The reason I chose not to provide 5 stars, is the doors to the outside area, are generally closed and the noise can make it hard to hear.I certainly will be back.

Stuart Bailey: Great food and atmosphere, but slow service.

Greg Willson: Nice people great atmosphere.

Sandra Barazin: Do yourself a favor and visit this iconic restaurant! The service is unmatched, the staff truly cares about your experience and make great recommendations. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we ate melted in our mouths and transported us back to Italy. Absolutely the best meal you will have in Adelaide! Highly recommend!

David Milanese: Nice atmosphere. Pasta portions were small for the price. We were all still pretty hungry. Wine list was good and the desserts looked nice.

Stephen Guest: My wife and I had a lovely meal at L'italy. Even though we went there mid week, it had a lovely vibe going, made better by the music that was being played. The service was both pleasant and efficient and the food was excellent. As we were leaving my wife said to me we'll be coming back here soon!

Michael Cuthill: Nice setting, good food, excellent service.

Roger Palubinski: Food is amazing, service fabulous. A little piece of Italy in the middle of North Adelaide. Can not recommend highly enough!

Kat Tang: Foods are amazing. Wines are great. Nothing to complain. Definitely will come back.

Anthony Chitti: Amazing food, great atmosphere and wonderful service. Thanks so much for a lovely evening and for looking after me and my family.

Stephen Dorries: Gnocchi . Best in Australia

Carol Loh: This restaurant is a little gem in North Adelaide! We had an amazing time and the food was delicious! We had a guest who required gluten free menu and we were surprised that most items on the menu are gluten free and still taste absolutely delicious.

Richard Partridge: good food

Tania Stringer: always fabulous

Vanessa Ha: The food is some of the best Italian food I have ever tasted, authentic and delicious. The staff and owner Luca, are friendly and personable. Will definitely return again and again.

Annelie: Absolutely great service! Food is fantastic! Made vegan options for me and did a special order dirty Martini. Most of the menu is gluten free and you wouldn't even know. A must visit in North Adelaide.

ReginaC: Luca our server was excellent. The food for out table of 7 came out at a decent pace and was quite tasty. My only complaint is that there was a strange glass like crunch in my risotto about 5/6 of the way through my dish which caused me some panic. I spat out the mouthful and gingerly felt around for any laceration. Thankfully there was none but I certainly did not finish my meal. I did not complain because it did not injure me and I couldn't categorically prove it was glass, and it may not have been. It was a foreign item, so my only complaint is that there should be care in the kitchen!

Y Chng: Homely Italian fare - lasagna was just okay. Service and atmosphere was lovely though!!

ROBYN COFF: We stopped here whist on the Market Trail with the grandchildren. The ladies greeted us all warmly and made the 2 girls feel special for coming in to their shop. I even bought some fresh pasta, after making a disaster of it 30 years ago, to go with the sauce they were given. The girls had it for dinner the next night and loved it. Cooked '6 to 7' minutes, not '67' minutes like my last lot😂

Isla Hemer: . Overall fantastic, I highly recommend the spaghetti Napoletana without cheese. Great shop, looks very old, I love the old look as it opened in the 50’s, still the same look, all the staff seem to be in the same family as it is a family owned restaurant

AnnieMoron: Amazing Bolognese pasta and the addition of ricotta gives it a tasty flavour.

Parlamento: what do users think?

David Parlavecchio: was overcooked, but you could feel it was a good cut and of good quality. My partner's gnocchi were also good.It is located in the center of Adelaide so it is easy to reach by public transport, but difficult to find parking nearby.Vegetarian options: There are various choices for vegetarian dishes, pasta, salads and various vegetables.

Mark Roman: . The dish is described as being between 400-500g and cooked to my liking. I wish I'd taken a photo now because the meat was definitely on the lower end of the weight scale, and I reckon it'd be hard pressed to even be 400g. In addition it was overcooked, but that wasn't a major drama. Not as tender as it's been in the past, but tasty. Parlamento is always busy, so it's not like they were dealing with an extra large group that strained the kitchen resources, but I was a tad disappointed in the meat dish, especially, given it's now $52 which had a decent increase from the previous visit. I could have bought this same steak from a local pub for $35, so at $52, it should be without question. The lamb loin chops and pasta dished served to my companions were to the usual standard.Wheelchair accessibility: Given the smallish nature of the restaurant, arriving in a wheelchair without advance notice is not advised. In addition, there's not a lot of room between tables.

MK: We dined at Parlamento twice while in Adelaide last May. The first time our experience was so special and delicious we went back the next evening. Food and service were excellent. Rafael and the team made us feel like we were VIPs. Then on the morning we were flying home we were looking for a good coffee and we’re so happy to see Parlamento was open just for a coffee! Again 5-star service and best coffee! Grazie Rafael and team, when next in Adelaide we will be back.

Silvano Porcaro: Visited Adelaide this week after a long absence. I had been to Parlamento on previous visits and was always impressed with the food and service. I went for dinner on Tuesday evening and ordered the spaghetti marinara and a mixed spirit to drink. The order was promptly placed and the drink quickly arrived with a basket containing bread and butter. The butter was at room temperature so easily spreadable.I had some friendly discussion with Ralph, one of the owners of Parlamento whilst waiting for the marinara. It didn't take long for it to arrive and the aroma was simply mouth watering! The dish was spectacular - spaghetti perfectly 'al dente' and an abundance of fresh mixed seafood. A beautiful rose coloued sauce brought it all together. It was really good!If you live in Adelaide or are just visiting, I can definitely recommend Parlamento as a good home style italian restaurant. Thanks Ralph and the team. I look forward to my next visit.

Elvira Rosmini: was next to none. We truly enjoyed dining in your restaurant Ralph; you made a simple catch up amongst friends a memorable and truly enjoyable experience. Never retire mate… we love your food, generosity, humour and above all your authentic Italian cuisine.Cheers,Carmine

Reni M: is very refined and particular and makes you feel at ease during your dinner break; service 10/10 served professional who was able to advise me on the choices of the first and second courses. I will definitely return

H: The food was impressive, especially the pizza and the chili oil. We mixed the chili oil with the beef tartare, which turned out to be a fantastic combination, just like with the pizza. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was amazing, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The dessert, a lava cake, was delicious. We did try to order a flat white with oat milk, but unfortunately, oat milk wasn’t available. While this is understandable, it would have been great if the waiter had suggested another lactose-free option.Parking: There is plenty of street parking spot along Hutt StWheelchair accessibility: The entryway is stair-free, with plenty of space for easy wheelchair access.

Mo Kazemi: I recently dined at Prezzo in Adelaide, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The wood oven pizza was simply amazing, with every bite bursting with authentic flavors and a perfectly crispy crust. The attention to detail in every aspect of the meal was outstanding, from the beautifully presented plates to the thoughtfully curated wine list. The atmosphere at Prezzo is both inviting and sophisticated, making it a great spot for a memorable evening out. Every element, from the tables to the service, was executed with perfection. I highly recommend Prezzo for anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience in Adelaide.

A Von Frattner: WOW!,I thought that I knew pizza!, However alas I did not till I tried Prezzo's after moving from the Adelaide Hills to the CBD.Absolutely fantastic authentic base paired equally to a balanced taste on top.I would also like to add their quality control is rather impressive, whether it is the ingredients and right down to the service. Absolutely wonderful.Great intimate atmosphere.I do find it amusing regarding the few low star reviews and some have said the owner is rude etc.No, it's called passion and if you took the time to speak with him, you would see that as I have done. Also to the people who have stated that there is not enough prawns etc, quality over quantity and the good old saying of less is more.I think that Domino's pizza or slop tray buffet might be for you.Anyway thank you to all the staff at prezzo's and can't wait to visit your fine establishment again.CheersAaron & Amy Von Frattner

Matthew Yong-O'Gorman: The set menu was delicious. Very well balanced and not too pretentious.

Boon wee KUAH: consistently highly recommended and packed, so must be doing something right. service was good, strange policy that 8 should have tasting menu, as italian food strikes me easy to share. starters were good, burrata with cucumber a fresh twist, carpaccio and squid good, croquettes and swordfish crostini expensive n not best value. we wanted pasta to share, eggplant was great, squid ink pasta was different but tasty, tagliatelle w crab good and duck pappardelle was creamy. not really my idea of italian food, dishes all seem to be more complicated than necessary, good atmosphere n. clearly super popular

Avijeet Sen: Visited in Sep 2024Based on recommendations from multiple ppl, I ended up visiting Oggi. And I am glad that I listened to the recommendations.Oggi is a fine restaurant with a no nonsense menu where anything ordered would be good in my opinion. I ended up having a few starters and 2 pastas - all of which was quite excellent. For dessert, I had the tiramisu which was fantastic too.For cocktail lovers, I’d recommend having the Negroni. Now I’ll also recommend ppl visiting Adelaide to have a meal or two at Oggi 🙂

Haramrit K Saini (Harika): I absolutely enjoyed this place.Loveeeeeed the Burrata, must try! Also had spaghetti for my mains and it was just perfect.Plus, the staff was just lovely.Definitely recommend!

A C: The seafood pasta and pizza are delicious, and the waiters are also very enthusiastic. Unlike another Western restaurant with high ratings on Google, they didn't just give us the menu because it was our first time to eat and we didn't know what to order. Instead of leaving it to us, he carefully introduced the ingredients, taste and characteristics of each food so that we could choose.

Karen Jeffery: We took the family for a 70th birthday celebration. The food was amazing. Pasta dishes and pizzas were some of the best we have had. The pizzas were huge with generous toppings and the pasta serves were large and very flavoursome. Service was great. Don’t expect a quiet place. It is very noisy but great atmosphere. This is one of our favourite Italian restaurants and great value for money.

Ali Rohani: I’ve tried pizza here a few times. I like their pizza and chili oil which makes it even more delicious. It’s worth a try to make your day.Vegetarian options: Margarita Pizza

سعود محمد: Just had lunch here, the food and service were amazing, I didn’t point clearly at the menu to show the waitress my order, and I was confused when the food arrived. They offered offered to fix that and prepare what I initially wanted to order, which I declined as the order I accidentally placed looked so good so I decided to have it anyway, which ended up being so delicious. Nevertheless, they still gave me a free beverage with it, showcasing the exceptional service they provide.

Darryl John Bosch: I've been dining at Amalfi's for over 25years, a few owners and multiple generations of kitchen staff. This place is an Adelaide institution that all other Adelaide restaurants are graded against. The food is wonderfully fresh and vibrant of taste. The service is friendly and warm, but not pushy, the perfect balance. Our waitress this evening, Sid, was wonderful and upheld the Tier 1 service that Amalfi's are known for; that is also on par if not better than other top Adelaide Restaurants.*****

Nicole George: The food was absolutely delicious, the pizza base was such high quality and the best I've had. The tiramisu is a MUST. This was the best tiramisu I've had; such a smooth texture and a delicious taste.Only downfall: I was originally going to order a pasta but was disappointed as there is only two options, and the one that was vegetarian served four people - we were unable to get a smaller portion.

Helen James: I went out to dinner with some of my friends and the food was good. Although everyone on my table ordered pizza's so the pizza was thinner crust than domino's for reference. The portion's are a bit big so maybe one pizza between two people would have been better for me personally. The atmosphere was cozy dinner vibes ✨️ which was very good. The photos of the food aren't very good cause lighting on my phone isn't great. The person who took our order was great and for reference, someone will come to your table to take your order. I didn't know that and it wasn't made clear anywhere. Overall food was great and a lively cozy dinner. 😊Vegetarian options: There were some good vego options, some good pizza's. Highly recommend for vegetarians!!

Jannie Wilson: The real authentic pizza! Everyone very friendly and great service from Hanna. Definately come back.

WhiteNoise: I adore Ambrosini's and so does my wife. Yes you will drop some coin there, but the food is excellent. There are no bad nights. It is consistent, high quality, delicious food. I love their risotto and they put singular offal items on the menu at times which I adore. The wine list is large, and you will actually be cooked for and served by the owners themselves. Shout out to Paul, Remo, and Matty.

Kate Stewart: Such a lovely experience. Enjoyed three courses.Paul is a fabulous host. Service was very good.Food was excellent 👌Subtle. Nothing had overpowering flavours. The quality of the prawns was the best I have eaten in years.A very busy place. Which is always a good sign. A little bit more music would have been nice.A very enjoyable night. We would highly recommend this restaurant.Thank you to Paul and his staff, they are all very attentive 🍷🍾

Colin Woolford: Amazing food coupled with superb service.

Pouria Aryan: Beautiful and cozy Restaurant on McGill Road. I just love the staff the Service and the decor of the restaurant. The restaurant theme is classic Italian. I really had a good experience. All the items were fresh, balanced and nicely prepared. One tiny point was that the veal cutlet was a bit of a over cooked and tough. Apart from that the spaghetti the roast vegetables and the appetiser with the smoked salmon was so nice and tasty.

Andrew M: Due to my poor planning for Valentines I forgot to book, but was able to get a table at the last minute. And it was chockers. So thanks Paul.Ambrosinis is small and charming and very family run. So they make you feel like family too.I can only comment on the duck as it is absolutely brilliant and I don't think I could order anything else.I look forward to enjoying this lovely spot again and again.

PL: One of the better Italian restaurant I've had in Adelaide so far. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal from entrees to mains however the risotto we had was quite disappointing as its consistency was almost like soupy rice. While service was commendable however it was difficult to get their attention as tables with customers were scattered around the restaurant.

Yo J: Good and service was excellent, and prices very reasonable for king William road.

Katie: My partner Adam and I had the most wonderful meal at Parisi's tonight. We couldn't fault a thing. To start off I had a delicious strawberry daiquiri and Adam had a smooth red that went down a treat. The two different gnocchi pastas we ordered were outstanding paired with a pear, rocket and caramelised walnut salad. We both had another fantastic red wine as well. We really wanted to try the assorted dessert plate but we were just too full with the generous portions. The service staff were very attentive and the atmosphere was really pleasant. Adam and I will definitely be back. 5 stars all round 🙏😊.Vegetarian options: Adam ordered the vegetarian gnocchi and loved it!Parking: Easy off street parking
