Ross Dawkins: A grand old theatre with the smells reminiscent of the glory days. The volunteers do an excellent job of keeping this theatre running.Being able to buy Haighes Chocolates or a Golden North chocolate topped icecream lovingly made by the volunteers just adds to the pleasure and ambience. The Wurlitzer organ rising from the stage and played for 15 minutes prior to the films is just magical - a 'real' blast from the past!

Chris Pitcher: My Favourite Cinema for 7 Decades Loved the place since a Child

Gilly Gilmiester: Wonderful place. The architecture is beautiful and the interior transports you back in time.Everyone involved should be very proud.

Dennis Gullan: Great slice of nostalgia, the organ is stupendous.....a must see on anyone's Adelaide visit.

Corcoran Street: First time to this theatre. Lovely old world charm and operated by volunteers. It's definitely worth visiting if only to see the theatre.

Richard Jacobs: An amazing genuine theatre organ and 1930s but top quality films in a 1930s theatre

Gareth J Bale done a Brilliant performance and was totally captivating .I would recommend anyone to go see this astounding theatrical experience.

Adelaide Fringe Inc.: what do users think?

colin george: Second time I visited the Adelaide fringe festival. We saw 3 shows in the gluttony and garden of unearthly delights. The weather was very hot during the day but the warm evening outdoor venues and air conditioned big top tents with Japanese acrobats, burlesque style circus and music tributes made for exhilarating entertainment - I will return next year finances permitting

Tomin Pious: Amazing events, lovely food and shows

Indu K: , we visited music concert, circus and the garden of unearthly delight ❤️. It has something to offer for everyone. The rundal street turned to a party place where various artists performed on the street and restaurants offered food In outdoor sitting.

Bhoopendra Yadav: The biggest event in Adelaide, totally worth it with Family fun and Adults nights shows with yummy foods... Must go if you are in Adelaide on Fringe time👍

Vishal Chaudhary: Enjoyed, but there was not much fun.

Pitkoo Pitkoo: Garden of Unearthley Delights. My 2nd year at the Fringe had the best time thanks. And people ask whats to do in Adelaide? Silly

Pranay Hegde: The Adelaide Fringe stands as Australia's largest arts festival, enlivening Adelaide and its surrounding regions for 31 days and nights each summer. This dynamic event showcases a diverse array of performances including cabaret, theatre, comedy, circus acts, music, visual arts, workshops, and more. With over 6,000 independent artists participating in 300 venues across South Australia, the Fringe hosts upwards of 1,200 shows, catering to a broad spectrum of tastes and interests. From free outdoor spectacles to cutting-edge VR experiences, inclusive children's theatre, and even intimate one-person performances set in office cubicles, the Fringe offers an unparalleled cultural extravaganza.

Mercury Cinema: what do users think?

Deniz Batuk: A truly unique place for community to come together to celebrate the classics, blockbuster, art, cult, and world movies.

Graeme Wilson: Very low cost community theatre. They show odd- ball old movies. One was a silent film with very loud music. Currently, East German stuff made under severe censorship. Very thought provoking and a relief from the American rubbish we are constantly fed.

Janet’s Journey: Classic Cinema, old school movies and the nostalgic of arts! Love the vibe around it.The bar staff are always lovely.Recently attended to see a comedy show as part of the fringe.

Richard Densley: Very interesting non mainstream movies, great price, especially if you join as a member...my movies cost me about $3 each. Also get a cup of coffee and biscuits.

Debbie Bloomfield: I'm visiting Adelaide from Far North Queensland. I'm so happy I chanced upon this little gem 🌈What a great experience tonight !!For just $16A screening of 4 short films by Australian film makers, several of whom were available after their film to share how their ideas came about, to discuss technical aspects of the creative process and to answer questions from the audience. It was fabulousInformativeand a lot of fun !!I'm not a film maker nor an animator but I really enjoyed the insightsEither buy tickets for a screeningOr subscribe $25 / month to keep Mercury Cinema prosperous & enjoy special events.. like a special screening coming upA special screening of an episode from The Witcher series with special guest from the creative team to address the guests.Take a friend along to Mercury Cinema !!I can highly recommend it.. and with Adelaide's support it will only be better & stronger & attract more diverse films for us all 💜💙I would like to have had more time to see a couple of the other films on offer over the next few weeks

Maria Reinoso: It is a lovely Cinema, the stuff is really nice,.Showing really good movies

Ian Huntley: A great film. The cinema has a very healthy culture.

David Jobling: ashes, a makeover and rethink of the whole place has transformed it into a truly excellent centre of excellence.

Robert Manning: AGM Mercury tonight

Michelle E. Brooks: Excellent small arthouse and specialities screening in a comfortable cinema. Offers other films, usually during the day. Tragically, it is not certain to survive. Please go, and help it to stay open. Adelaide needs it!

Mr. Pramod: What's a bigger mystery box than a movie theater? You go to the theater, you're just so excited to see anything - the moment the lights go down is often the best part.

BIKASH KHATIWADA: Not bad

Theatre Bugs: what do users think?

Lauren Thyer: I love theatre bugs! I couldn't imagine my life without it!

Thilina Vidanapathirana: Kids are enjoying here

Frederick Liew: My girl said "I really love it beacause they teach you how to act, sing and dance and do excellent concert ❤️😋❤️"

Virginia Sheridan: Over a number of years I have taken 4 grand daughters to Fairy Ballet classes - the teachers have all been wonderful and the girls have loved going. We all especially enjoyed the concerts!

Elizabeth Farrow: Very happy that we found theatre bugs when my son Tristen was younger, we moved over to adelaide from the uk and he had been attending a theatre arts school over there since he was 5 which he loved, as he is dyslexic I was worried about finding a place over here who would accept and understand his learning disability. Theatre bugs certainly did that right from the beginning and I just sat back and watched as he found confidence in something that he didn’t find in his academic schooling, he has been with theatre bugs for about 7 years now and has made some great friends and had some great adventures on stage. When he felt things were hard at school he always had theatre bugs to fall back on to boost his confidence, he is now sadly leaving his class this term as he is turning 18 soon but has worked very hard to get into uni this year and is studying to be a drama teacher. Thanks theatre bugs for everything you have done.

Ainslie Koulouris: My Daughter has been attending Theatre Bugs for the past 2 years now. She absolutely loves her Fairy Ballet class and what a fantastic way to introduce little ones to dancing. This was the only school that allowed my two year old to wear a fairy dress every week and not have to be in full ballet outfit with hair done ect. Trying to get a two year old dressed is hard enough so letting her chose her outfit every week worked wonders for us!The teachers are amazing and all the children have such a wonderful time every class. Can't thank Theatre Bugs enough. Wonderful dancing/acting/singing school inclusive of all ages and talents!

Danielle P: All 3 of my children have done Theatre Bugs over the years with my youngest currently doing Fairy Ballet! They have all had amazing experiences with dance and drama and have enjoyed it tremendously! The teachers are terrific and so talentled. Best of all it is such a wonderful, fun, caring, inclusive environment without the pressures that so many dance school place on their students. The children really do come first!

jacob adams: Our two year old attended Theatre Bugs classes and absolutely loved it. My partner is a Drama teacher, and she feels that the quality of teaching the children receive is particularly high. She was very pleased with the manner in which the teacher engaged with the students. We are very excited about moving to Fairy Ballet next term.

Amanda Schroeter: My 6 year old daughter has been attending Theatre Bugs since she was 2 and she absolutely loves it. From her weekly class to the school holiday programs on offer every holidays, my daughter has always had a wonderful experience. As a parent, I love the inclusive environment where everyone has a part and has the chance to perform. As the Director said in their mid year cabaret show today, 'every child is on their own unique journey' and Theatre Bugs support and encourage them along the way. My daughters confidence has continued to grow with every class and we look forward to watching her grow and learn at Theatre Bugs for many more years to come.

Hong Nguyen: I came here with a few colleagues to watch Chicago last Friday. It was a wonderful performance. In terms of talent and style, it was both similar and different to the movie Chicago. Set in the Roaring 1920s, the play cleverly critiqued the corruption & moral ambiguity of the era, with stories that are still relevant today. The performances from the cast captured the dark humor & sharp wit of the original. The show highlighted themes of false reputation, false justice, and the pursuit of desire at all costs.

CIRCUS, the show was brilliant.Shout out to the stall that sold the sugar cane juices/drinks for giving my daughter and her friend a free cane juice on the very hot day. I bought myself a drink just to say thank you. It's extremely amazing and so delicious. Also have to say that all staff, security and cleaning staff were sensational. (we've come to believe that it was because our friend had mentioned the banned m-word inside the dressing room and the lights shut off not soon after that, however they evacuated us calmly and quickly, and the tech guy was very nice too

Lynette Wahlheim: Was actually at Swimming for Husband's exercise

Melanie Ross: My daughter and son both have been doing acting classes at SA Casting for a few years now and it has been a great journey seeing my own children learn a lot of life skills, independence, accountability and sense of responsibility. Most of all it has helped them become confident children not just in the class but confidence to face everyday life❤️

e c k o b a s e: After spending nearly 20 years trying to find an Acting school that's not all about taking your money and babying you without any critical feedback, Finally I've found my Dojo where the critical feedback is solid and helps me perfect my craft. In all honesty there isn't a better agent in Adelaide, if you disagree fight me 🤣

sarika jaikumar: This place is making my dream come true. Everyone in the agency including Ann, Emily, Joey are all excellent teachers in Acting.
