    We started in self storage back in 1987. Since then we have diversified to develop our own packaging supplies and box manufacturing factory at Mt Barker in the Adelaide Hills.

    David has been on the Self Storage Association of Australasian board for 8 years and Treasurer for 2 years. In 2008 Able Self Storage & Removals won the innovation award for Australasia. David is currently on the board again.

    Able Self Storage Mile End opened on 1st July 2016 with secure, affordable self storage units and outside vehicle storage. Close to Thebarton, Keswick, Ashford, Brompton, Hindmarsh, Bowden, Adelaide airport and Adelaide CBD. We now operate from 5 Rosslyn St, Mile End

    We now also have our Adelaide self storage facility in Logan St, Adelaide CBD, which is unmanned but facilitated from our Mile End storage.

    Strathalbyn is at 114 Milnes Rd and is large conventional self storage units under construction.

    We pride ourselves on personalized service and are confident that you will not be disappointed in any way with our product and service. We offer Business storage and archive storage/document storage.

    Packaging supplies and bubble wrap, storage boxes and moving boxes are sold in our online shop.

    Graeme Wilson: All OK really. Staff are always good. It's the fourth time I have stored stuff there. I go there because it's the cheapest place I could find. The only "problems" are that you cannot get a truck under the roll a doors, so if there is a removal truck they reverse up the driveway and no one else can get in. I once parked my car on the street by the exit, went inside and opened the exit roll a door then ran out and reversed my car back up the ramp. Fortunately didn't have much to shift that day. Doesn't happen on weekends.

We have used the facility for the past year and have appreciated the cleanliness of the property and storage areas. Knowing that 24 hr surveillance covered the site gave us peace of mind for the safety of our equipment. We have moved out now as we have our new workshop so it's well worth the phone call or visit to see what they can do for you.
